Psalm Chapter 30

Pray Today

Acts 5:14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Fort Worth, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Psalm 30

1  I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

I cried to thee, O Lord; and unto the Lord I made supplication.

What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.

11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lordmy God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

  1. Verses 11-12 MSG “You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers. I’m about to burst with song; I can’t keep quiet about you.
God, my God, I can’t thank you enough.” Talk about walking into His courts with praise and into His gates with thanksgiving. Only you know what the Lord has pulled you out of or what He has done for you; so ReVIVE and break out in song! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 AMP says “ReJOICE always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”

  2. 9. “I’m no good to You dead! What benefits come from my rotting corpse? My body in the grave will not praise You. No songs will rise up from the dust of my bones. From dust comes no proclamation of Your faithfulness.

    12. You have restored my honor. My heart is ready to explode, erupt in new songs! It’s impossible to keep quiet! Eternal One, my God, my Life-Giver, I will thank You forever. Voice

God doesn’t get praise and glory from our unanswered prayers; but if we don’t praise Him and give Him glory when He does answer our prayers, what’s the difference?

  3. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

The Lord has a plan for each of our lives. Our days are numbered and we all are here it grow the kingdom of God.

  4. Psalms 30: 4-5 [ amp] Sing to the Lord,O you saints of His,and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

5] For His anger is but for a moment, but his favor is for a lifetime or his favor in life. Weeping may endure for night, but joy comes in the morning.

2 Corinthians 4:17 [ KJV] For our light affiction, which is but for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Only God can give you a new experience, new joys, and new songs, Jesus I want stop praising you and giving you all the Glory and Honer.

Today Revive and Break Out in New Song unto the Lord, I just can’t stop praising the Lord.

  5. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning

Most things are temporary, especially emotions. While it is normal and understandable to feel certain things. Weeping and anger or natural reactions to saddening events but we can keep hope alive that at the end of the day God still reigns on the throne. He is still Lord and still King.

  6. Psalm 30:12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lordmy God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

    Give thanks always!

Isaiah 38:18 For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

    Praise Him while you can🙌🏼

  8. 9-10 NLT ““What will you gain if I die, if I sink into the grave? Can my dust praise you? Can it tell of your faithfulness? Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me. Help me, O Lord.””
    ‭‭

David wants to live so he can continue praising God. When you die you are unable to offer praise from the grave. NOW is the time to praise the Lord while you still can.

  9. Psalms 30

WOW! OUR GOD IS SO GOOD!

  11. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

I have occasioned to share this verse with many others who were passing through the dark tunnel of grief, and always the verse has evoked a nod of gratitude.

If we’re going to be an effective vessel for God we must learn to be a person of prayer.

These few words of this verse in this chapter has given so many countless people throughout the ages hope. It’s amazing how powerful God’s Words are. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Wow! No matter the situation or drawback God is gonna turn it around as long as we keep the faith.

    THE REALITY OF LIFE

7 Lord, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

THE REALITY OF LIFE is that the heart of the servant is in the hand of the LORD. It is the FAVOR of the LORD that blesses us with victory, success and strength and HIS trials that leave us feeling alone and troubled.

This is the story of my life:

6-7 When things were going great
I crowed, “I’ve got it made.
    I’m God’s favorite.
He made me king of the mountain.”
Then you looked the other way
    and I fell to pieces.
    MSG

There are times that we feel like we can conquer hell with a water pistol and there are times that we struggle to conquer our own doubts and fears. Whatever the season, PRAISE is the ANSWER.

A BLESSING is BORN when I praise JESUS.

    MORNING

4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

The TRUTH about Holiness is that GOD is HOLY always in feast or famine, favor or fear and regardless of the season it can turn in a day. Our weeping may endure for a night, BUT. JOY cometh in the MORNING and JESUS will:

10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.

    11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lordmy God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

JESUS will HEAR our PRAYER and TURN our mourning into dancing and our sorrow into JOY. This is THE REALITY OF LIFE. Continue to PRAY, PRAISE, PURSUE and PERSEVERE in FAITH and JOY comes in the MORNING.

  15. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Life can bring may situations into our lives and regardless of what state we may be in, we must always go to the Lord and lay it at his feet. Then we trust in Him to be our help and strength and through our praise and worship we know He will work it out! Joy!

  16. vs-6-7

6:And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7:Lord, by my favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

Never let yourself feel so secure that you forget everything in this life depends on the favor and blessing of God. Always trust in the Lord.

  17. 11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lordmy God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Has the Lord ever done something for you? Has he ever answered a prayer? Those are perfect examples and reasons to praise Him. After reading this verse I was reminded about the time David danced before the Lord and his wife then, the daughter of Saul, mocked him. I believe there is something special when people dance before the Lord in praise. It comes out of a heart given to worship. Many are shy or even fell uncomfortable dancing in praise at the congregation of the saints, in church. Yet would rather go out to the night clubs and dance in the flesh before strangers giving delight to the flesh. But dancing for the Lord in his presence is out of pure delight and joy in Him. There is something special about it. Yes, we should do it after great victories and praise his goodness, but there is that time that you can dance before Him when things are not so awesome, when you don’t even feel like lifting your hands but you are going to move your whole body in praise. That time when you say to your self, self, you are going to praise. And not only will you praise but will dance in joy in advance before the Lord. And not for what you may want, but for who He is. In His presence there is fullness of joy.

  18. 10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy upon me: Lord, be thou my helper.

    11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Just like David who asked the Lord “why has thou forsaken me” or “why are you afar off from me Oh God,” there are times that we are discouraged over our current situation. God help us to run to You and put off our mourning and weeping, and put on the Garment of Praise.

I won’t be quiet my God is alive, How can I keep it inside. Praise the Lord oh my soul!

  19. “You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.”

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When I was bound by sin that had led me to the path of death. Satan was out to steal, kill, and destroy me, my marriage, my children, and grandchildren. But, Jesus, your loving kindness reached out to me and called me by my name. You broke every curse from my life and set me free. You gave me a new heart. You gave me a new song to sing.

No one can ever take that from me! I will praise you forevermore. Hallelujah Jesus 🙌🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

And I know God you will Bring them. I know you will shape them into beautiful creatures. And I know you have a plan! I trust you God!! I opened heartedly trust you and surrender everything to you!!! I Will see my light at the end of this tunnel!! I will see my family praising you!!! I will see everything come to light that you’ve shown me!! Until then Ill praise you in a dance and worship you for saving me. For waking me yet another day. For letting me see another day and speak the words you want me to speak.! Your not done with me yet. With us. With the congregation. Ily Jesus

    11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

These two verses are talking about we may face problems in life but all that will come to a end and our mourning will turn into dancing, so stay strong through hard times trust in God and your joy will come in the morning.

  23. ‭Psalms 30:3, 12 NLT‬
[3] You brought me up from the grave, O Lord. You kept me from falling into the pit of death.
[12] that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!

Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise him with everything you have. Praise him in the morning, praise him in the noon time, praise him when the sun goes down. Thank you saving me.

  24. 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

When we are weak and weeping in our night times he sends us joy to give us strength to make it through. Thank you Jesus for bringing us out of our night times.

  25. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️When we get down and out, depressed or discouraged, what good does it do, how does it help us in our praise to the Lord, it doesn’t. The dirt might as well be praising. It is when we are at our lowest that we need to praise even more. Singing Holy, Holy, Holy changes our spirit, our blood starts to flow with energy of expectations and the joy flows through our soul, it brings hope where we felt there was none, there is peace among the chaos of our daily lives. Just worshiping the God Almighty with Hallelujahs, and gratitude’s for His blessings.

    Thank you, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
