1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Matt 7: 1 JUDGE NOT THAT YOU MAY NOT BE JUDGED. so many times we judge a person by the way they look, but God sees the heart of every individual, he sees them with compassion and mercy. in who they can become in his kingdom. remember where GOD HAS BROUGHT YOU out of!!
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
All we have to do is ask. That’s it. God wants to give His children gifts. Who are we to stop it.
v 22-23 NIV “Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name perform many miracles? The I will them plainly, ” I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers.”
It is not a matter of whether we “know” God but whether God knows us!

I don’t want to ever be guilty of pointing out another’s faults even if there isn’t a problem in my own life. Instead, I want to help the person to rise above and be victorious in their life!

From the past several Wednesday nights, the messages Pastor has preached on “B-ing” and teaching on the fruit of the spirit should make us aware that not everyone that confesses he/she is a christian is. Actions does speak louder than words, and their fruit basket is empty. Lord help us to produce the fruit of the spirit everyday so that we have something to offer this world, and so that we are truly known by our fruit!
The two lives Jesus compares at the end of the Sermon on the Mount have several points in common: they both build, they both hear Jesus’ teaching, and they both experience the same set of circumstances in life. The difference between them isn’t caused by ignorance but by one ignoring what Jesus said. Externally, their lives may look similar, but the lasting structural differences will be revealed by the storms of life.
JESUS help me carry a basket of your fruit everywhere I GO.

Our God is all powerful and has all authority.

Today the wolves dress like wolves but say they are sheep and expect us to believe them…

This chapter offers a wakeup call to those that will hear. “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock”. We (I) must do all we (I) can so that we do not hear “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. If we read the Word, pray and follow the teachings of Jesus, through the preaching of the man of God than we will hear; well done. We simply must do as the Pastor has said; show others the Hope of Jesus by Being-Church to everyone. May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen
The law of reciprication. Whatever you put in is what you will get out.
Whatever judgement you judge with you will be judged. Build wisely and you will live wisely.
So it is in the worship service.
If we are expecting God to mightily bless us, and consume us with his spirit, then we need to be passionate in our worship and bless him with glorious praise.
If we want God to pass us by, then we should just cross our arms, lean on a wall, and be entertained.
Also, if we want for our new converts to be jumping, shouting, dancing, and singing then we must be putting that into the service.

If a man lives according to the principles of the sermon on the mount,the world call him a fool; Jesue. Call him a wise man. The world considers a wise man to be soneone who lives by sight, who lives for the present,and who lives for self ; Jesus call such a person a fool. It is legitimate to use the wise and the follish builders to illustrate the Gospel. The wise man puts his full confidence in the rock, Christ Jesus,as Lord and Savior. The foolish man refuses to repent and rejects Jesus as his only hope of salvation
It’s easy to hate, to be bitter and cold, but we are not made for hate but for Love. We were created for relationship with Him, which we know requires proper relationship with others. It’s easy to do what is wrong, but nothing will ever be as fulfilling as doing what is right. Sin will leave us empty, but God (and God alone) is the One who fills and completes us.
It reminds me of an old ad campaign featuring men doing seemingly foolish or humbling things for the sake of their kids with the tagline “it takes a man to be a dad.” It may look foolish to the world, but the wise person goes the way of the cross in sacrifice and self-denial and builds their life in complete trust and dependence upon Jesus. Any person can take the broad way but it takes going the extra mile to walk the straight and narrow.

What kind of fruit are you producing? Does your character speak well for you and God? I want to be known for the good fruit that I posess in my life. Be Fruitful!

I pray my household would be wise and that we would be founded upon a rock!
I found there to be many great points in this chapter. I read in the NLT and it really reminded me of things like the “golden rule” to new things like verses 3-5 in the NLT.

Often we think we are doing better than someone else, but as time rolls on we inadvertantly make very similar mistakes. Unfortunately we haveing judged someone else have also brought judgement upon ourselves…..
Too often we critize others for what they do, yet we do the same things or even worse.
The beginning of this chapter in the MSG begins with….”Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults— unless, of course, you want the same treatment.” Simple right???? But, many forget, speak before thinking, and react. But, verse 12 helps us…..”Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God’s Law and Prophets and this is what you get.”
