Judges 16

1Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

2And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.

3And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

4And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

5And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

6And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

7And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

8Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

9Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.

10And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound.

11And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

12Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.

13And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web.

14And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.

15And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

16And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;

17That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

18And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

19And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

20And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

21But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

22Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

23Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

24And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

25And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

26And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

27Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

28And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

29And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

30And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

31Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.

  1. At least Samsom didn’t tell Delilah the truth behind his strength the 1st time around. But then I think why did he stick around after he realized her treachery? vs 4 says that he fell in love with Delilah, whereas in Jdg 14:1-2 he saw a woman he wanted to marry, it doesn’t say he loved the Philistine. Sometimes we can become perplexed and obsessed with a person and confuse this carnal sensation for love. Samson seems to be looking for love in all the wrong places given his night with a prostitute, and a floundered 1st marriage, now he faces a femine spiritual form of Judas, Delilah. Is it possible that he didn’t get to face his problems with women taking advantage of him the 1st time around with… well they don’t say her name.. so woman of Timnath, now he needs to conquer this lesson with Delilah? As we know love can only truely be experienced after a person has a relationship with God, “love” himself, in doing so become able to recongize it in someone else because it is a similar spirit within you.

  2. The Number 7

Samson tells Delilah that he should be tied up with “7 fresh thongs” vs7. He also wears his long, uncut hair in “7 braids” vs 13. Is there some significance for the use of the #7? I believe their is no consequences, just divine appointments, so yes I do believe so. The earth was created in “7 days” (Gen 2:2); “7 of each clean animal accompanied Noah on the ark (Gen 7: 2-3); Jacob worked “7 years” for Laban in order to gain Rachel for his wife (Gen 29:18); Egypt suffered “7 years” of famine (Gen 41:54) ; the Israelites marched around Jericho “7 days and 7 times on the seventh day” (Jos 6:4); and Jesus says we are to forgive each other not a mere 7 times but instead 77 x 7 (Mt 18-21-22). These are only a few examples of the hundreds of times the number “7” appears in Scripture. For ancient people, the number seven signified completeness (Rev 15-16). A “perfect” #, it gives a sense of finality of fullness to whatever is being counted.

We wll see this in scripture when speaking about God and man, but whenever mentioning God alone in completeness we see the reoccurance of the #10 (just like evangelist David Smith said Saturday night) such as 10 commandments (Ex 34:28), “10 days later” the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah” (Jer 42:7); “10 times” Job was attacked Jb 19:3; “10 Lepers” where healed by Jesus (Lk 17:12); Dan 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them **ten times better** than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

  3. God Left
    Jdg 16:20

Sad words here describe the truth of what happens when Delilah’s cohorts shave Samson’s uncut hair: “He did not know the Lord had let him.” When Samson allows his hair to be cut, he thereby renounces his Nazirite vow (Nu 6:5),which is the basis for God’s special pressence in his life. It was bad enough he had made himself vulnerable to Delilah and her schemes to bind him, but now he has crossed the line.

“But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved” Jdg 16:22. With these words, we know God has not abandoned Samson forever, nor has his love for him been fully expended. Samson by now realizes his foolish ways and asks God to be with him “just once more” vs 28. God responds with great power. Claiming more lives (3,000 total) than he did with the donkey jawbone (1,000), the foxes on fire, and the (30)countrymen for their clothes. All the while the Philistines celebrated the capture of Samson, but God was preparing their judgment for decieving, shaving him and gouging his eyes out vs21. Its unfortunate those same eyes where fixated for women chasing like Jdg 14:7 the woman was “right in Samson’s eyes” Sometimes when we dont rely on our vision but the Lords then we may truely see threw His eyes. Samsons vision became hazy once ladies came to the picture, good thing the Lord planned an escape route for him to exit with dignity and reverance for the Lord still in tact.

We may look with contempt on Samson, but perhaps we’re not too different. We have at times gone our own way, deliberately turning from God’s plan. But, like Samson, God does not abandon us, nor is his love for us ever ehausted.

  4. Samson fell in “love” with a Philistine woman named Delilah…not so it is nothing but lust!! Samson was drawn away by the lust of the Philistine women. When you play with fire(SIN) you will get burned!! Men Proverbs 5:3-5v.3 the lips of a strange woman v.4..her end is bitter v.5. Her feet go down to hell. The wages of sin is death!!! Stay close to the LORD,Crucify the desires of the flesh, and stay obedient to the word of God.

  5. iEat the Word for Breakfast

    money money money

I researched the following scripture this morning, “5And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

Piece of Silver. In Old Testament usually = a shekel of silver (see Weights), or may mean uncoined silver in 1Sam. 2:36. Ps. 68:30. Josh. 24:32. Job 42:11.

Shekel. Heb. shekel (Ex. 30:13, and frequently). Weight about 10 drams, Avoirdupois. There is a shekel of the sanctuary (Ex. 30:13), and the shekel of the king (2Sam. 14:26). Their precise relative weights unknown.

    Dram (Old Testament).
    Adarkon (Heb.). (1Chron. 29:7. Ezra 8:27.)
    Darkemon (the Persian Daric). (Ezra 2:69. Neh. 7:70, 71, 72.) value £1 28 0d., or $5.28.

    1 shekel= $52.00
    1100 pieces of silver= $58,080

if every lord gave $58,000 that would have added up to alot of money…

  6. 6. And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

The enemy isn’t omniscient, only God is; the enemy is always searching for our weaknesses so that he can use them to bring us down. We must guard our hearts and not let our own mistakes reveal what can be used against us.

  7. stupid stupid stupid delilah gave sampson three warning that she would betray him and like a man when she came to him he said duh ok .GOD help use to open our hearts and eye to the things you wont use to see and not the things of this world

  8. BEING PARTIALLY ENGAGED WITH THE ENEMY WILL COST YOU THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING “FULLY ENGAGED” WITH GOD

20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

Dialogue with the devil will cost you; eventually. Verse 16 tells us that daily, Delilah pressed on him and Samson responded every time, and it cost him not only his power, it cost him his vision, it cost him his life.

Again I affirm “do not discuss anything with the adversary” we do not owe him an answer; not now, not ever.

However, each of us will give an account for the things that we have said and done for our entire life. “FULLY ENGAGED” with GOD and HIS Kingdom will keep us from having time or opportunity to be “PARTIALLY ENGAGED” with satan.

    ***SIDE NOTE

If someone betrays you 3 times WHY would you continue to trust them? GET AWAY from them.

    iPray
    iWork
    iSeek

  9. Love is blind.

Vs4KJV”And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.”

Samson should have left after the first time the Philistines tried to overcome him, knowing Delilah had called them. But Samson was blinded to what Delilah was truly up too.

We should be very careful who we allow to influence us. They may appear to be on our side and we may be like Samson and blinded to love, but if what they are asking of us doesn’t line up with the Word of God we should not allow them to have influence in our lives.

  10. Delilah ask three times where Samson strength was and Samson being blind from love (lust) gave in to Delilah. Delilah betrayed Samson and it cost him his life.
Sometimes we hang with people that has betrayed us and we keep going back and back for more knowing that we are being betrayed. Time to wake up and notice who we are hanging with and how it is effecting our walk with God. If you are hanging with someone that is not helping you get closer to God and you are slipping backwards its time to get a check up and see where you stand with God………

  11. Samson, a man of great physical strength yet he lacked strength in fighting the spirit of lust. Laying with prostitutes, pegans, and Philistines. Samson slept with the enemy long before Delilah came into the picture, but she was just the one that was strong enough to send him to his death. As a Nazirite he vowed to be separated yet he joined himself with sin.

  12. Is it lust or love?

Science has proven that dopamine is the bodily chemical that is released into the blood stream that affects the pleasure zone of the brain. When a man finds someone attractive dopamine is released. If we are not careful we can become addicted to these “highs”. This can cause men to become blind to warning signs that maybe the objects of our affections are not “good” for us. While I do not condone the actions of Samson I can understand how a man can lose focus on priorities.

  13. 4And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

The name sorek means vine, vineyard, wine.
The name Delilah means languishing, to make frail and weak, to pine with love.

Samson’s demise could have been prevented by obeying one simple command.

    Numbers 6:2
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:n 3He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. 4All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.

All he had to do was stay away from Sorek.

  14. 15 And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

Its not for nothing that it is said that the woman is the neck in the relationship because of her influence. Delilah used manipulation to get what she wanted out of samson, if you love me you will tell me.

We need to be careful in our relationships to stay in our covering. Samson repeatedly stepped out of his covering but God stayed bound by His covenant of Samson not cutting his hair. After doing other things God had said not to do and seemingly getting away with it with nothing happening its possible Samson thought nothing would happen after this one either. Flirting with the world outside his covering killed a little more of his commitment to God each time making it easier to break commitment once again and bringing death.

God did have mercy on Samson just as he does for us when we stray away. If we find our self out of covering or spiritually dead God will have mercy. We never go to far, or do to much that God can’t forgive us.

  15. 16.1 One day Samson went to Gaza, where he saw a prostitute. He went in to spend the night with her.
    //////////// MISTAKE. !!!! /////////////
He went to Gaza for a reason, but on the way
” temptation” show up,and he fell into it.
—So,so far he is already weak (in the spirit)
—-from verse 5-14 it shows that he started to play games,to play with fire,(with his spiritual life)once again he wasn’t strong(in the spirit) to resist. (buy the way I understand in the old testament the spirit of God guided the ok,I got

that!) when I say hw was weak I mean that
maybe his prayer life wasn’t the best…….
17.So he told her everything.”No razor has ever been used on my head “he said,”because I have been Nazirite set apart to God since birth(I love that) if my head were shaved my strength would leave me,and I would become as weak as any other man”.

  16. iEat the Word for Lunch

For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. (Proverbs 5:3-5 KJV)

This is not only a physical example but also a spiritual example.

Beware of seducing spirits (which are spirits of religion).

Many strong men have been slain by her.

    ALWAYS KEEP YOUR STANDARDS

  17. v17 “If I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.”

Samson did not take his vow seriously and that offends GOD.
The scripture says to try the spirits to see if they are of GOD.
Judev 12 came to mind ” Without fruit twice dead, pluck up by the roots;”
Samson showed no spiritual fruit. No relationship with GOD cause Samson to be bound enslaved to his own lust.
Jude v16″ walking after their own lust”
Instead of binding his heart to obey GOD

Pro.5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself and shall be Holden with cords of his sins.
A life of sin will squeez the life completely out of us.

  18. I am with Sis. DeLisle……..”if what they are asking of us doesn’t line up with the Word of God we should not allow them to have influence in our lives.” We need to be careful who we let influence us or whom we choose to be in our lives. If they are NOT bringing us or helping us get into a closer relationship with God, then we need to be strong and get away from those distractions.

  19. v 18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once. for he hath showed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand

It’s greed that takes many people to hell and it’s the lack of spiritually discerinv the LORD’S Body.
It’s not a sin to make a million dollars if you care for the LORD’S Body
We all have the same Father the Holy Ghosh
Tha same seed of begotal the Word of GOD
( talking about the LORD’S Body)
We all have same mother the church
We all have the same name JESUS
We all are in the family of GOD

  20. Change your scenery!

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

Lay aside every weight AND sin what so EASILY beset or surrounds us. Samson was surrounded by sin and weights. He wasn’t bring honest with himself or perhaps he thought he could handle it and he was in control or just plain in denial. Samson needed a change of scenery. If anything in our lives is a weight- a mass (as bending or bulging by its load), that is, burden (hindrance): – weight. We have got to lay it aside. Surround ourselves with true, good, positive, lovely, honest and pure thoughts.

Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Pro 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

  21. I am sold out!

5And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

Around $7000, is what Delilah sold Samson out for.

We must sell out to God wholy, and not just a little bit. God wants us to be a whole sacrifice to Him. Its when we sell out completely to Him, when we are truly blessed. God is a jealious God and He wants us to be with Him. We are made to worship Him and Him alone.

  22. 15And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

Samson was not doing everything right, but he was still putting up a certain resistance to the enemy at that point. It’s funny how the enemy will try and make us feel guilty for doing the right thing and try to turn the tables on us. Delilah accused Samson of doing pretty much the exact thing she had done: lied about “love,” was deceptive those three previous times, and kept her heart back from him. And yet she turned it back on Samson that “oh, *you’re* the one in the wrong!” Beware the one who denies their wrong-doing and tries to heap the guilt on you and manipulate you to get their way.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. (Proverbs 27:6 KJV)

Some “friends” are not really your friends.

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17 KJV)

If they do not display love (as God defines it), then the “love” they show may just be the bait of deceit.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23 KJV)

  23. iEat the Word for supper

Dagon, Oh ye Fish god (oh ye lil emblem on the back of cars)

    Something fishy is going on

TWO TALES OF TEMPTATION, ONLY ONE WINNER

    First example:

And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; (Judges 16:16 KJV)

That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother’s womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. (Judges 16:17 KJV)

    Second example:

And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her. (Genesis 39:7, 10 KJV)
And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. (Genesis 39:12 KJV)

    THE COMMON THREAD

SIN NEVER SHUTS IT MOUTH…BOTH MEN WERE TEMPTED DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY…I’ll even throw in a “bonus” example

    Bonus Example

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) (2 Peter 2:7, 8 KJV)

    COMMON THREAD

    VEXED DAY TO DAY

    *******************KEY TO VICTORY**********************
EVERY SINGLE DAY PRAISE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND MAKE THE ENEMY SHUT HIS MOUTH…AND ALWAYS FLEE FORNICATION

There is ALWAYS A WAY OUT!

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV)

  24. Samson was playing in the enemies territory. He told just enough of the truth to make it seem real, until eventually he was so at ease that he gave up the truth with no conviction.

That is how many people are today. They are giving away portions of the truth everyday, but the scripture says, to buy the truth and sell it not. We must continue to keep the paths that have been forged before us, and we cannot allow even one thing to be given up for pleasures of this world. Samson eventually lost all his power and strength, and likewise we will eventually lose the power God has given us through His Holy Ghost if we do not remain a holy, separated people unto God.

  25. The things we do for the lkve of another person bt what are we doing for the love God has and is still showing us. Now I dont understand why he told the woman what would make him week after he saw she was sitting him up. But I do know that there are people who sat in wait and some even try to evoke chritians to see if they will lie or go back to thier old ways. Its those people that really want what we have but maybe have too much pride to ask and seek. Being without God in me is what will make week. If she really loved Sampson she would had worned him but insteadall she saw was money. He loved her but she loved the money that was promised to her. To be betrayed is a hard pill to swallow for us can u imagine how God feels when the people that He hand picks to go out and do His work, decides that they dont wont to or they have better things to do. The work of the Lord is greater than anything.

  26. Samson was tested by love, the woman to whom he thought was loving, kind and caring was using him to get her way, she had the love of money. Samson trusted this woman with his most personal strenghts and weaknesses. She sold his personal information to the enemy for money. Samson was already playing with fire when he entrusted the enemy thinking love was worth giving away all his most personal information. He got burned from the fire he played with. God had a plan all long he knew Samson was strong but yet weak when it came to women. God was always with him it was Samson whom got off track, God gives us the tools and has our back when we obey, but there are always consequences when we deliberatley disobey. No money in this world could replace God, beware of wolves dressed in sheep clothing.

  27. Verse 20 because Sampson used to have a relashinship with God he thought that he could just shake himself as in times before but what he did not know was that God had left him. It is so important in our lives to keep our relationship strong with God so that when trouble comes our way w can know that he will be with us.

  28. In spite of Samson’s past, God still answered his prayer and destroyed the pagan temple and worshipers. God still loved him. He was willing to hear Samson’s prayer of confession and repentance and use him this final time. One of the effects of sin in our lives is to keep us from feeling like praying, but perfect moral behavior is not a condition for prayer. We do not need to let guilt feelings over sin keep us from our only means of restoration.

  29. After all of samson’s sin of fornication with the enemies of God, he finally actually fell in love with Delilah-also an enemy of God. Although Samson loved her, it was clear she never loved him and how could Samson not see that?
    16And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;
Perhaps God, who is not mocked, decided this would be his end but allowed him to be avenged of his 2 eyes-plus allowed him to make one last show that the God of Samson was greater than Dagon, the god of these Phillistines.

  30. Restoration when undeserved

22Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

We can all look at what Samson did wrong, or we can look at the fact that God chose to forgive him and restore his glory (hair)

  31. 1Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

The sin that started Samson down his path of defeat. When you join with sin, you can only produce sin. God wants us to dig as deep into his word as we can. This means that we will need to lay aside everything that would get in our way. God has a plan, the question is are you ready to follow it?

  32. This chapter illustrates blindness. Why is it that we sometimes our blinded by sin, such as Samson was blinded by Delilah. We must seek God continually so that we also are not forced to die with the enemy (sin) such as Samson did with the Philistines. May the good Lord bless you all in Jesus name, Amen
