Read Proverbs Chapter 22
Job 24
1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.
4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
10 They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
11 Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
21 He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
22 He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
The POFW Daily Bible Reading 
David summed up this chapter by saying that he almost fell when he saw the properity of the wicked, but he knew what their end would be.
One of the enemy’s easiest tool is the illusion that you are having fun & there is nothing wrong with what you are doing. The false illusion of the safety of sin. You might think you are getting away with it, or really don’t care for you believe nothing is going to happen at the end but get eaten by worms. In the eyes of the mere human it may look like evil doers are getting away and living the good life; but GOD is watching and He is just.
Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Job 24:24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
Job 24:15 KJV
The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
The Lord brings the “hidden” things to light.
v13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
Sounds like a battle but darkness can and will never overpower it. JESUS the Light f the world. The true light shines and causes darkness and all it’s evil to flee. John12:46
People in this dark world are in desperate need they are searching, trying to find their way .
” Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your FATHER which is in heaven.” Matt.5:16
JESUS desires relationship. So as HIS CHURCH were are to reflect HIS LIGHT so stay close to the SON. JESUS.
HIS light brings order and beauty into our lives. We are blessed people to have The Light HE WILL provide us with direction, hope, and someday to our eternal home.

No one is capable of being righteous on their own . It’s HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS .

Sometimes bad things happen to good people and it seem like good things happen to bad people . Job had it right ……

Job is describing everything that will ultimately bring judgement on those who turn their backs on God
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord : though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:15-18 KJV).
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? (James 2:15, 16 KJV)
REPENT AND DO GOOD AND THEN YOU WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Basically Job was telling his friends he knew what God wanted…and maybe they were convicted for not reaching out to him in his own need
We are living in a time that is not hidden to the Almighty. He see everyone who is laying down the fences of protection in their lives that were established long ago as important landmarks. His coming is so soon, much closer than in the days of Job, and yet people are so haphazard about their choices and decisions. Oh to have the faith of our forefathers that we would trust in whatever state we are in that God has his hand on us and He is still in control.
THE BEGINNING OF “THE FALL”

The LANDMARK
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
Proverbs 23:10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
Landmark – 1366. gheb-ool´; gheb-ool´; a cord (as twisted), i.e. (by implication) a boundary; by extens. the territory inclosed:—border, bound, coast, x great, landmark, limit, quarter, space.
Landmark – 1: an object (as a stone or tree) that marks the boundary of land. 2: a conspicuous object on land that marks a locality
Job describes the life of sinners and their end. GOD knows and sees all things before we do; he is well aware of those who have wronged or taken advantage of us and will in HIS time judge us all.
A very important KEY to life we find here in Job 24 is the first step that Job describes as the access to downfall.
***DO NOT REMOVE ANY LANDMARKS***
It generally comes from someone with a wounded spirit, a proud spirit or divisive spirit. They began by questioning the authorities (Landmarks) (GOD, parents, Pastor, Spiritual Leaders, Church Family, etc) in your life.
The digression progresses to REMOVE THE LANDMARKS of conviction. Questioning why you live a certain way when everybody else isn’t and why you do or don’t do certain things in your life. (Give, Pray, Go to Church, Work at Church, etc) or (Don’t drink, cuss, fight, gossip, drugs, lie, cheat, steal, etc.) or (Don’t watch cable tv, movies, listen to music that does not worship GOD, dress modestly and according to gender, honor GOD with your head “hair”, don’t decorate yourself like a christmas tree everyday “makeup & jewelry”, etc.
Notice that those who MOVE LANDMARKS also violently take away what does not belong to them and then THEY EAT THEM!
Do not go astray from the STRONGEST CONVICTION of the GOSPEL you KNOW. Seek to go, give, do MORE not less!
When that deceptive spirit convinces you that the fences (standards of living in your life) are not necessary any longer…..
Notice that those whom and then THEY EAT THEM!
YOU are AT the BEGINNING of THE FALL of your LIFE.
Start REBUILDING Fences!
The FIRST (Landmark) FENCE is the ALTAR.

I am praying for every backslider and every blood bought child of GOD who has removed landmarks in their life to return to their first works in JESUS name!
Just because the way seems easier does not mean it is right in GOD’s EYES!
Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly,
Build an ALTAR right where you are NOW!

As we rejoice over the things God has provided, and give thanks for who he is, our world is teetering on the brink.
Many are distraught, just as job was.
However this passage reminds me to remember that God knows the end from the beginning. All things are in his hand. We must trust him, and he will make a way!
Thank the Lord for his word today. The word found in Job today reminds me of the care I need to take in being sure that I’m ready to meet him when he comes.
Proverbs 22: 24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
Be careful who you spend time with. They will influence who you become.

I know that it has been said , but God’s Return is very near. Many have said in their hearts that that statement has been made that it will never happen. I just had a coworker say that what was happening in Isreal was weird, and that the end of the world might be true. God never lies, therefore the signs are all around us. Be ready to move out!
While reading this chapter this song came to mind, it is an oldie but goodie. Remember who you are hanging with and who has influence on you. Trash in trash out. So be careful what kind of seed you are sowing.

At times judgment seems delayed in a confusing way; it seems others get away with wrongdoing but it is only for a season. We must be careful to maintain our integrity during that season so that we don’t let down our standards because “they got away with it” or “if they did it and didn’t get in trouble, it must be ok after all.” The truth of God will stand, and it should be preserved as our measure at all times. If we take God’s standards as our own, we will find refuge and blessing; it is dangerous if we choose to try to go and find our own way and base our landmarks on feeling, perceptions, and human wisdom.
19. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
1Corinthians 15:
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am thankful for victory over sin through Jesus!
In this very moment there are many that are “living” and “walking” some of these verses and if they are not cut off it IS because of GOD’S mercy . This is why it is sooooo important to be the light in the darkness. It is really easy to talk the talk but it’s the walking part, YES the walking it out!!!………that can be a stumbling block or a stepping stone for a lost and dying world. HALELUJAH!!!
The Light
Job 24:16 KJV
In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
We (I) must Eat this Book and know the Word of God. For He is the light of the World and in Him there’s life. And it is the same Light that all disciples should display.
John 1:1-2, 4 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
The Light has all power to change any circumstances.
Acts 12:7 KJV
And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.
Second thought about “The Light”
Ezekiel 28:13-14 AMP
You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the carnelian, topaz, jasper, chrysolite, beryl, onyx, sapphire, carbuncle, and emerald; and your settings and your sockets and engravings were wrought in gold. On the day that you were created they were prepared. You were the anointed cherub that covers with overshadowing [wings], and I set you so. You were upon the holy mountain of God; you walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire [like the paved work of gleaming sapphire stone upon which the God of Israel walked on Mount Sinai].
What a sight that must have been to see. He had a covering that reflected the glory and light of God. It also sounds so familiar with the ladies covering of uncut hair and being her glory.
1 Corinthians 11:15 AMP
But if a woman has long hair, it is her ornament and glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering.
* It’s no wonder why ladies have been the first target to attack, since we have seem to have taken Lucifer’s place, it happen in the garden, with Sarah, and even Job’s wife.
*And also why most Music Entertainers have so much bling-bling (reflecting off light) and their shows are filled with smoke or fog, which represents Gods presence-in true worship God showed up in a form of smoke.
Isaiah 6:4 AMP
And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
*When Lucifer was under submission to the authority of God he had authority over a portion of the angels for worship and praise. It was when rebellion was just a thought of leaving his first love and becoming king or like God that Lucifer become a fallen angel and was no longer covered since he was not under submission.
* It’s the same for the ladies, we must stay under submission to authority to have authority or power over the angels. Because of our submission AND covering (which is our uncut hair 1Cor.11:15) we have that authority. They are watching and looking for that submission because they know first hand what rebellion will lead to and they want no part of that and they flee from you.
Isaiah 14:12-14 AMP
How have you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and daystar, son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations [Oh blasphemous, satanic king of Babylon!] And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.

For this reason, and because the angels are watching, a woman should wear a covering on her head to show she is under authority.

Revelation 2:5 MSG
“But you walked away from your first love—why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen? A Lucifer fall!
“Turn back! Recover your dear early love. No time to waste, for I’m well on my way to removing your light from the golden circle.
This chapter illustrates explanation. An attempt is made again to explain that good and bad can befall anyone. One can rest assured God (Jesus) sees all, one must stay the course regardless of the situation; “For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing”. This is even more reason to be a child of the day instead of a night owl.
At Just The Right Time
vs:1
Job’s cry for a swift resolution to the injustice that he is suffering is a familiar one. Everyone wants God’s timing to be their timing. It is so very hard to wait for him to act when everything when everything in us is screaming for an end to the pain. But throughout the story of God from Genesis to Revelation, God’s timing is perfectly perfect. The apostle Peter reminds us that God operates on a whole different time table than we do-for the best of reasons: 2 Pe 3:8 “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. “
Verse 13 NIV “There are those who rebel against the light, who do not know its ways or stay in its paths.”
Verse 13 NLT “Wicked people rebel against the light. They refuse to acknowledge its ways or stay in its paths.”
Show someone the Lord today….let your light shine inside and out!
John 8:12 NLT “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
Two types of rebelling against the light…. Not knowing God ways, and not doing what His word has commanded us to do. The only way we are ever going to be able to know His ways is to study His word. Once we know His word, then we must do it. We are still in rebellion if we don’t know, because we never read it….
Those who would try to remove the landmark, will have to answer to God.
:23 They are of those that rebel against the light;
they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
In this chapter Job talks about the things that the evil doers commit. One can almost describe them as followers of the enemy. They rebel against the light therefore choosing to be in darkness. They seem to enjoy their evil ways and the seem to prosper but Job goes on to describe the end of them

They way of the humble always leads to be exalted, on the contrary the ones that exalt themselves shall be bright low.
