Psalm 92

1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

For, lo, thine enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

  1. HOW GRACIOUS YOU ARE, LORD.

Thank you Lord for loving me and allowing me to be in your presence.
You are an Awsome God! Holiness is Your Name. You(Jesus) are the path with patience and peace and love.

    1 TIMOTHY 6:11(KJV)
But thou, O man of God, flee these things;and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
(the vs. before this was talking about~ the love of money is the root of all evil~ Vs 10)

I can appreciate this passage because I used to worry about money but not anymore~ most of the time it got me in many sorrows, just exactly how God’s Word describes it.
Thank you Lord that if I follow after righteousness and focus after peace and love…this too shall pass.
Why do you love me so, Lord? Thanks be unto Your Name Jesus.
Following You Lord cant ever take the place of anyTHING I’ve ever had or acomplished or been in.
    YOU (JESUS) is my healer!
I DO KNOW JESUS the enemy has no hold on me anymore.
    Graciaous Senor!

  2. 1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

2 To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

Psalm 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.

It is easy to Praise Him when everything is going right, but it is our Praise in the middle of chaos that carry the most weight!!! Can you Praise Him everywhere, in front of your enemies, in the middle of their mockery, and no matter the circumstances? Can you Praise Him without shame, or wondering what will they say? I can and I will!!! I will dance in the middle of the parking lot for His goodness endureth forever, I will Praise in the middle of work for His goodness endureth forever, I will sing about His great works all day long for His goodness endureth forever… Praise be the Lord!!!! Hallelujah!!!

  3. 7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

We have a choice. Here we see the outcome of both. Whether we allow pride, bitterness, or pain in, and grow wicked just to be destroyed (pulled out by the roots and scattered), or we stand rooted, grounded in the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, and weather the storms, is fully up to us.

When we stand tall, He saves us. No matter how bleek the outcome looks, STAND FIRM !

  4. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

The word flourish means to break forth, blossom, and bud. The answer is not in going somewhere else.

I heard a message say “you can’t leave your situation, you will take the spirit of it with you.” The answer is not in running away from hard times but it getting right with God and planting ourselves.

But when we make up our mind that we will not be moved. God placed us in this church to serve and make the dream of Pastor come to pass.

Then we will flourish, bloom, and blossom. We are planted by serving, working, and allowing the burden of Pastor to become ours.

Ipray we would all see the vision Pastor sees, plant ourselves, and watch God grow this amazing garden called the Pentecostals of Fort Worth!

  5. ILove to eat the word

The Works of God make me happy

4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

  6. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree….(Psalm 92:12).

The life of the tree comes thru its center or heart.
Just as all the other trees, it draws its moisture up through its roots from the earth. But instead of the sap going up on the outside between the bark and the wood of the tree , and so on up into the branches and twigs, as is true and most other trees , in the palm tree the sap goes uo the very heart of thr tree.
The same applies to “Palm -tree Christians.”
The Word of God states this so aptly in Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.” A ” palm-tree Christian is not affected by outward environment , but draws his life and strength through the heart.
The palm tree us perennially green. Life flows within uts being continually . Those who are considered “Palm-tree Christians ” never change. They are the same vibrant witnesses of God’s grace day in and day out, because Jesus Christ Himself is “the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

  7. 1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

Thank you God for all you do and all you have done. Thank you for:
    Being good
    That you saved me
That you have brought me out of darkness
That you heal Michael again and again
That you have healed Joseph and Olivia again and again
That you have entrusted us with jasmine and Anthony
That you will bring jasmine back
That I have comfort after my father’s death
That my husband is in church
    That my marriage is healed
That I am no longer hard of heart
    your cross
    the BLOOD
Jesus, Holy Spirit, and the Father all in one
    my measure of faith
the ability to speak with you
being able to enter the holy of holies
    you hear our prayers
    you accept our worship
    The Bible

The list can go on and on. There is not enough time, space, or words to express our gratitude for all God is doing and has done. It is still extremely important to us it thank him though. It is also just a down right “good thing” for us to thank Hom!

  8. the first 4 verses talk about praise and thanksgiving to God. It even talked about worshiping on string instruments which is special to me as a musician. from the moment we wake up to the time we go to sleep our mouths should be filled with praise.

  9. It is wonderful to be grateful and to sing your praises, Lord Most High! It is wonderful each morning to tell about your love and at night to announce how faithful you are. I enjoy praising your name to the music of harps, because everything you do makes me happy, and I sing joyful songs. YOU DO GREAT THINGS LORD.
When you have the joy of The Lord inside of you, you can’t help but to explode like a volcano where others are attracted and they draw near you, not to see who you are. But where they are drawn to hear and see the goodness of The Lord!! It’s an opportunity to NOW share the gospel!!

  10. HALELUJAH !!! I WORSHIP YOU JESUS!!!

7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
8 But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

The wicked spring like grass (living) and yes they do flourish but only by the hand of GOD …………AT POFW THEY ARE SAVED, SANCTIFIED, AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST and alllll by GOD!!!
It DOES not matter who, when, where or how. It may seem …………2Timothy 1:12(KJV)
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

FOR I KNOW THAT I KNOW THAT I KNOW WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED !!! JESUS!!! FOCUS ON JESUS!!! THERE IS MUCH NEED IN THIS DIEING AND LOST WORLD!!! NO MATTER WHAT THE WEAPON IS!!! GOD WANTS US TO KNOW THAT WE WIN!!! LETS WIN SOULS FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!! FOCUS ON JESUS!!!
HALELUJAH !!! HALELUJAH !!! HALELUJAH !!! I LOVE YOU JESUS!!! Gracias Padre por TU FIDELIDAD!!! Te AMO REY

  11. THE KEY TO SUCCESS IN LIFE

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
    14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Stability, consistency, faithfulness these are 3 of the words that most of us would use to describe something successful. We want to know that we can trust what we invest in, we want to know what we believe in and we wnat to know that what we believe in will be there when we want/need it.

We purchase products based on these 3 factors. we work for businesses based on these 3 things, and we employ services based on these 3 things.

We also WORSHIP based on these 3 factors.

Stability – GOD is the Rock of Salvation – He shall not be moved from that place.

Consistency – GOD is the same yesterday, today and forever – He is faithful to abide by and be true to his word.

Faitfulness – GOD is the OMNI GOD

    Omnipotent – All POWER
    Omnipresent – ALWAYS THERE
    Omniscient – ALL KNOWING

We KNOW JESUS is the key to everything, however we can have a pocket full of keys and not know how to use them.

The KEY to accessing SUCCESS in LIFE is

RIGHTEOUSNESS and it is BEST found in the HOUSE of the LORD (Church).

If you want to be FRUITFUL in your old age, stay in church
if you want to be BLESSED, stay in the church
If you want to be MATURE in Christ, stay in church

To become or remain RIGHTEOUS (The KEY) stay IN church.

Do not just come to church (BE Church)

    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

    NOW

    iPraise
Psalm 92:1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

    CONFUSE THE ENEMY today!

    Praise GOD all day long.

  12. Thank you to all that are fasting with us over these 3 days. For those that forget, you still have time.

Fasting through Wednesday, we will break our fast Wednesday NIght after church. We are praying for the LORD of the Harvest to send US into Fort Worth and that our Prayer list of friends and family will be drawn back to the faters house by his mercy and grace and that we will welcome them and rejoice and not have the older brother syndrome that the prodigal’s brother in the bible had.

BLESS you all today in JESUS name.

    Have a GOOD day!

  13. 92:1,2 NIV.-It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name,
    O Most High,
2.-to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,
    ———-
It’s just simply to Praise him, to thank him, to recognized to acknowledge his goodness and mercy and love for us, ( to praise him in prayer, at home, anywhere)to be aware of his goodness and just PRAISE him, out of a willing content thankfulness heart!
92:4 for you make me glad by your deeds,
O LORD;o sing. Fórmula at the works of your hand.

——– I can stay here and Wife and erige for all the thing that THE LORD has done..
Ok I have to, at least some…
I was glad and still am glad because my neigbor came to my house to invite me to Church on May of 2007… Since then haven’t quit, now THAT! Makes me glad…why? Because I got to know Jesus, got to know the king of kings and Lord of Lords, my savior the only true God.
92:6 The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand….
    ( I would say, let’s pray)

  14. praising god should be someting that we do, all the time. that would make it a habit, which in this case is a very good thing. we must endure what is meant for us to endure. when we fall, God will send rememberence to us or a fresh word that will, can pick us up just enough so that we may praise our God anyway. we sing a song, when praises go up, blessings come down. i believe in the name of Jesus Christ. He is my everything and then some. praise God pofw

  15. Vs. 13-15, “Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”

Amplified version, “Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God. (Growing in grace) they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap (spiritual vitality) and (rich in the ) verdure (of trust, love, and contentment). (They are living memorials) to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

These verses made me think of my mother this morning. She will be 75 on Monday, and they made me think of her walk with the Lord. She is always telling someone about Jesus and inviting them to church. She always has a word of encouragement for someone. She has a great prayer life, loves to go to church, and is actively involved in ministery at the church. She loves the Lord, trusts in him, and is content in him. She is a woman of spiritual vitality, and a living example that God is upright and faithful.

I believe the best examples we can have in our lives is our Elders. For they have been planted in the house of the Lord, and have flourished in the courts of our God.

  16. 12. The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. When I think of a palm tree I think of warm climates, lots of sun, relaxation and fun things to do. However, a little study on Palm trees reveal that some historians believe had it not been for the Palm the exploration of the world at large would have been hindered. The Date Palm is the most prevalent tree in the Middle East where the human race started. They were surrounded on all sides by desert. The portability of the Date eased the exploration to the far reaches of the world.

Palm leaves were presented to Roman champions of games, military accomplishments and they were laid before Jesus as he entered Jerusalem. The cedars of Lebanon were might trees in the land. They grew to be 130 ft. tall and some 8 ft. in diameter. These trees were used to build ships as the wood was very dense and filled with sap to retard leakage.

So, the righteous shall flourish like the palm, be the fruit of the land, laid at Jesus feet and presented as a trophy to the King! We shall stand tall and proud on our day before the King!!

    Amen!!

  17. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

I want to be planted in the house of the Lord. He is my hope and my salvation. Where would I go but to the Lord?

  18. Mowing the grass will never be the same

7 When the wicked spring as the grass, Jesus has a lawn mower and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

These trees from Lebanon were lent to the man of God to build the kingdom.

5 And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.
6 Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that [there is] not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.

We are the trees that build the kingdom!

  19. This chapter illustrates privilege. A wise person will consider it a privilege and honor to praise God whereas one that is unwise will not; “A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this”. For one will find true peace, joy and happiness in Jesus (God); “O taste and see that the Lord is good”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  20. 4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

Hallelujah! Without God there is no victory, all things we do must be through him. Anything we do that is good we should give him glory because without Him we can do nothing, without him we are nothing!!

  21. 5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

8 But thou, Lord, art most high for evermore.

There are so many things we can say about God and he deserves all of it!!

  22. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

    14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

If you have ever planted a seed you recognize it takes time to develop a root system from the nourishment it receives from the soil and water provided. It takes time to become rooted in truth but when we are planted in the house of The Lord by the new birth experience, if we will take to heart the teaching of the Word we receive and bible study, we will grow roots that will cause us to not be swept away. Adding to the word prayer, fasting, submission, sacrifice, all these things add to how stable we become. We shall grow old in the truth and flourish spiritually its a promise in the Word. The key is being planted and staying planted!

  23. YES….I’m in full agreement with vs. 14. Bare fruit in old age. I also, reserve the right to be fat & flourishing. Amen & Amen…..in Jesus name……so be it!

I am definately in full agreement with vs. 1. I love singing his praise with worship. “Thanksgiving”…….

    “NOW”……………….

  24. 1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

  25. 4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

With God we never lose. If God is for us then who can be against us? Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
And we can do all things through Christ…but in order to have the victory and triumph every time, will we allow God to work in us? Will we allow His hand to mold and prune as He needs to and whenever He knows it’s best..? If we allow Him to work we will be what He has purposes us to be and we shall be glad.

  26. 15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Our God is the holy of holies. There is none like him nor will there ever be. We serve the one and only true God.

  27. 1 What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God! 2 To announce your love each daybreak, sing your faithful presence all through the night, MSG

Thru the trails that my family has been through I still have so much to be thankful for. I can never forget the great things God has done for my family. These verses remind me of this song:

    Verse1:
I woke up this morning closed in my right mind. counting all the blessings i had in my lifetime. i’m so fourtine to have someone like god heavenly father. When i was having so many problems noone but him could help me solve them he stepped in and he made everything okay and for this i’m so grateful.
    Chours:
i’m grateful so thankful to be in the land of the living. i’m grateful,i’m so thankful to be in the land of the living.
    Verse2:
I don’t mind sharing my testimony to anyone who hear it cause i’m lead by the spirit and it’s possible that something i might say to help along the way.Been through the storm but here i’m still standing on solid ground i keep on landing. that’s why i have so much faith in god. for his love i’m grateful
    repeat chours(2x’s)
    Bridge
    Oh yes(yes)i’m grateful(i’m grateful)
    Oh yes (yes)i’m thankful(i’m thankful)
    He spared me(that would stand)
    He gave another chane(another chance)
    Repeat chours until fade out

  28. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
    14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

To be planted in the Lord.

Cause my roots to go deep, that my life maybe able to bring forth fruit in my old age. The I may withstand the winds of this life and be the man you have design me to be.

  29. 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

When we arise and when we lay down we should give praise to God! Let your praise be continually in my mouth I pray

  30. Flourish

10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

    14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

15 To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

We must speak faith to our situation. If we truly believe, that Word in our hearts will come out of our mouths. Faith without works is dead; if the Word is planted in us and we in the Word, we will flourish.

    John 15:1-8
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

It’s not time to be uprooted but time to stay planted in God and be fruitful! Faith unlocks flourishing! Even in old age, it’s not too late!

NOW Faith leads the way to NOW Victory and NOW Flourishing, no matter the circumstances!

  31. 5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

Plant your roots in the House of God NOW! Allow him access to your heart, mind and soul. While the Lord pulls the wicked roots. Lord I Praise you now and forever.

  32. v4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
v5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

We adore and worship HIM. Our dependence is on HIM for our salvation for we can do nothing to become worthy to the price paid for our sins. How great are thy works!
LORD let our focus be always on YOU to the point that we live in a continuous attitude of thanksgiving and worship to you for your great works and because
HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY we need no other reason than HIS majesty and greatness
    to worship Him.

    iGive thanks
    iPraise
    iWorship
    Now

  33. 1 IT is a goodthing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High : 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

  34. God is letting us know that if we live a righteous life that we have a promise that he will take care of us… Lord I thank you for pulling me out of the world and loosing chains off of me so that I can have your promises too.

  35. Getting old can be disconcerting, even frightening, to many of us. Its easy to focus on what we think we might lack in old age: strength, vitality, status, useflness. How encouraging it is to be reminded by the psalmist that those of us whom the Lord has established as his own will never wither or be marinalized in his kingdom. Rather, we will continue to bear spiritual fruit throughout ou old age, and our joy and securiy will be in the goodness and steadfastness of God. Regardless of the physical changes our bodies go through, our spirits can remain fresh, even flouish and grow stronger.

MArk 10: 15Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.

  36. 1 It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. 2 It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, -(NLT)

  37. Verses 1-2 MSG “What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God! To announce your love each daybreak, sing your faithful presence all through the night,”

Verse 4-5 MSG “You made me so happy, God I saw your work and I shouted for joy. How magnificent your work, God! How profound your thoughts!” Sing unto the Lord for he is good.
