Psalm 104

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.

16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 The glory of the Lord shall endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.

32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou theLord, O my soul. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. God is awesome. We should praise him everyday that we have breathe for all he has done and to practice for the eternity that awaits us in Heaven.

  2. 24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

Only God could have put together such a vast ecosystem! I shake my head in wonder at those who claim it all just “happened.”

    Genesis 1:31 (KJV)
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

  3. THE KEY TO “BE GLAD”

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

There is a great opportunity to miss the LORD in our lives, when we half hearted approach HIM. There is among the people of GOD today an absence of meditation of the LORD. Great WISDOM is given us in:

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Taking delight in the LAW of the LORD. Most people when we see the word LAW, think negatively, more about the things we cant do or are restrained from doing. However the LAW of the LORD is not all in the areas of

    “Thou shalt not”

The LAW of the LORD is also about promises, mercy, grace, forgiveness, peace, joy and salvation. The LORD is as bound by these LAWS as we are bound by the LAW of righteousness.

    THE KEY TO “BE GLAD”

*Meditate of HIM; in HIS Law.”

“BE “IN” the LORD, not simply about or around the LORD.

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

    I am IN the LORD!

    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  4. Everything on this earth has order, that is the way God created it. He made it all for you and me for that we should wake up with a Praise in our mouth for the Lord and when the day ends we should lay with a Praise of gratitude for the day given to us. God blesses us in the small and in the big things all we have to do is be aware of every blessing no matter if is big or if it is small. From the blade of grass in the fields, to the birds, to the fruit tree, to the heavens they are all created for you. May my heart always be grateful. THANK YOU JESUS FOR ALL!!!

33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord.

  5. v31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

Our Great GOD created and still creates everything HE IS IN CONTROLS.
HE IS aware of everything that takes place and carefully guides HIS creation to fit HIS purpose.. All of HIS works depend upon our GREAT GOD.i Depend and Rely on HIS GOODNESS

  6. 4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

If anyone says that our church’s preaching is too noise, here’s a verse to give them. I am glad to be at a church that is on FIRE for God and his ways. Thank you Pastor for pushing us to be on fire ; hotter and more fervent in our praise and worship. Let’s be blessed and be Pentecostal!

13 He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

    14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

God made everything for a purpose. Lets di cudd.

  10. This chapter illustrates provide. God has and always provided a way, for all that he has created; “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  11. Gods greatness is shapened in the creation that he shaped and substains. This powerful psalm weaves praise for God through its description which shows Gods power and the powerful and the compassionate elements which show his concerns for living creatures. No wander the psalmistsheart and ours are filled with nwonder aqnd praise

  12. This chapter declares the handiworks of the Almighty God. The very intricate details of creation so entwined, yet the greatest detail is when He sends forth His spirit, and new life is created. Thank you Jesus for 52 being filled with the Holy Ghost this weekend!

  13. Throughout this song the psalmist is bursting with praise for the majesty and goodness of God. The Lord is “very great ..clothed with splendor” (vs1), yet how tenderly he cares for even the lowly creatures he has made: donkeys, birds, and cattle (Ps 104:11-12,14). He makes sure that the grass grows (vs14), and the badgers (“coneys”) have a place to hide in the cliffs (vs18). For human beings he provides not only food to sustain their physical bodies (vs14) but also wine to cheer them, oil to bring them health and honor, and the bread of life to sustain them spiritually (vs15). God is the consumate provider, giving us not just hte barest of necessities, but lavishing his bounty on us. “11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.” (Jer 29:11).

  14. 15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.

The Holy Ghost, the anointing, and the daily word from God are the recipe for a good life. If all three of these are in order nothing can get in my way. The only thing that makes my heart happy is the Holy Ghost, the anointing of God makes us powerful and the word makes our hearts strong.
This is a daily battle plan, fill me with the Holy Ghost, annoint me, then give me the word and there’s not a devil in hell that can stop me.

  15. 27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

It’s due season for the Holy Ghost! It’s time for *our* blessing, let’s receive the renewing of life God has for us in daily prayer.

    NOW Seek God
    NOW Recieve The King

  16. Who built the ark; brother Noah built the ark. —

6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains. 7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. 8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them. 9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

These verses are talking about Noah and God’s promises. Isn’t it wonderful how God keeps his promises even when we have trouble keeping our promises. God is awesome! He is the only one that can control the seas and the wind and the waves. What a might God we serve! What a joy I having getting to serve for Him.

  17. God is our creator, provider, healer, he is there for us when we need him. God own’s everything and is in control of everything. I submit to your Lord now and forever. I honor you lord with all of my heart. My inner being worshipps you. I bless your Holy Name Lord. I give you thanks for providing and leading me to POFW. You know my needs and you kindly make a way for me when there is no way.

Lord use me anyway you want to, I give you access to my soul.

  18. Verses 33-34 MSG read “Oh, let me sing to God all my life long, sing hymns to my God as long as I live! Oh, let my song please him; I’m so pleased to be singing to God.” Lord this is my prayer, for I am in awe of your wonder and how great you are.

  19. 27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

What great God we serve, how marvelous are His works. He gives and takes away. He provides and has control of everything. Knows all things and delights in His creations. Blessings are in His hands; He sends His Spirit and we have life.

  20. 24 O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

Of all the wonders of the world, the majesty of all the most grandure of pictures, the most breath taking of things in the world, in the universe, God loved us more… He laid His life down for each and everyone of us. Had any of us been the only on in the universe, God would have still laid down His life for the chance to redeem just even one and get to spend eternity with any ONE of us.

  21. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
33 I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
