Psalm 111

1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: theLord is gracious and full of compassion.

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

I will focuss on giving GOD praise, I will exalt his name,I will put any worry on the side,I will not focus on people or on what’s going on around me:
“This our time”!and I do not want to miss it.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Praise the Lord! We should have a praise on our lips at all times. As v.3 says God’s generosity never gives out (msg) so why wouldn’t we want to give God our all. We should give God our praise generosity and he gives to us.

  4. JESUS CHRIST Our Worship Leader
v1 PRAISE ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

The writer of Hebrews reminds us to continue to assemble regularly for worship and encourage others to do the same.
    Hebrews 10:25

There is strength in unity. GOD LOVES The UNITY of HIS people.
When we come together GOD’S SPIRIT is present to meet the needs of HIS people.
We should come expecting GOD to do the impossible . In the midst of our worship
JESUS CHRIST our worship leader will lead us into areas of ministering to the body and we will continue to witness miracles of HIS greatness, faithfulness, provision
    healing and redemption.

  5. Since God and his Word are the same, God’s commandments never change, the same for yesterday, today and forever.

  6. 7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

**Verity – irrefutable truth. Those are His Hands, Hands of Mercy, Hands of Grace, Hands of Healing, Hands of Love, Hands of Life, Hands of Victory, Hands of Judgement, Righteous are His Hands. He handed His commandments with those Hands, yes Hands of Irrefutable Truth. His Covenant is True yesterday, today, and for ever, for My God Never Changes.

    ****************** Prov 31
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

Lord Jesus help me continue to raise a virtuous woman and bless her with a righteous and loving husband that seeks your Heart daily. In Jesus Name I pray. AMEN.

  7. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
There is importance to understanding. We need to know what the LORD expects from us. Notice he said the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. When start to fear the LORD we began to learn something about GOD, such as what his commandments mean? Why we obey them? Does what I do today effect my future? We have an understanding, wisdom helps us see down the road.
We believe it will never happen to me, but I am telling you we are all targets of the enemy. We need to know who the enemy is and what he will do to us.

Praise ye the LORD,one of the greatest weapon we have today.

  8. WHERE TRUE LIFE BEGINS

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Frequently we the phrase “this is the life”. I will not dispute the fact that there are some occurrences and events in life that are fun and lively. However, we glean understanding from the words of David here that TRUE LIFE; a LIFE for GOD begins when we properly respect GOD and HIS Kingdom, WORD, will and way for our life.

The key to understanding is “OBEDIENCE”, honoring and fulfilling HIS commandments and that HIS praise endures (resonates forever).

The PRAISE I offer to his holy name today will endure forever. TRUE LIFE begins when we RESPECT GOD enough to TRUST GOD enough to PRAISE GOD.

  9. He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant to be forever; holy is His name, inspiring awe, reverence, and godly fear. (Psalm 111:9 AMP)

  10. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

We should all seek for a better understanding that we would do his commandments

  11. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The foolish people act like there are no consequences for their actions. Jesus has been there from the beginning and will all ways be. His judgement are true but overlooked. Those that play church are in trouble. Live a lifestyle of righteousness and repentance. Be Church

1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

    “Get To Church”

Some have said that church is not necessary in today’s culture. “I have church at home”, some have told me.

David says that he will praise God in the assembly and in the congregation.

  13. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. 2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. 3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: theLord is gracious and full of compassion.

What a great acclamation unto the Risen Savior of who God really is! He is to be high and lifted up and His train fills the temple. Today I’m going to celebrate His life, death, burial and RESURRECTION. It’s only because of His sacrifice that I have the opportunity to praise the Lord with my whole heart in the congregation of the Lord!

  14. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The fear of the Lord is what keeps us from sinning. When we are in the will if God it is easy for us to understand why we don’t sin. But if we’re in the world and into carnality with no fear of the Lord we can’t understand the true workings of God.
Hallelujah what a mighty God what an awesome God oh Lord you are hallelujah what a great God you are!!! And we will praise you!!! Forever more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. 5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

All I can say is that the church has had many words spoken over them. God will show forth His mighty acts ,and he will not go back on any covenant that he makes.

  16. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

I am ready to get my praise on!!!!

  17. This chapter illustrates all. God (Jesus) gave all, which is all the more why one should want to praise him; “He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  18. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

When I arrived at the High School this morning and happened to walk back stage during praise practice, I could feel a strong presence of God. The same anointing during choir and Warfare prayer on Sat. could be felt Sunday. It was such a joy to wodship with others like vs 1 states. Truly we sought the Lord and he was present today.

  19. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

I have decided that no matter were I am and what I am doing I will praise the lord. It does not matter if im in church or at work or whatever I am doing I will praise him with my whole heart!!

  20. 9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

His redemption made the way for us. What an amazing fact that he prepared a way from the foundation of the world!

  21. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

  22. 2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

I am reminded of the slogan “once you pop, you just can’t stop.” Once you taste and see that the Lord is good and “have pleasure therein,” you will seek more. God draws us to Him, both inviting, seeking, and rewarding our efforts to find Him. His excellent works are a benefit of that pursuit, yet we must be mindful to not be caught up in the works but in God. The reward of those works is to create in us a hunger for more–yet not more of the works but more of God.

We are directed in Scripture to delight ourselves in the Lord, and certainly He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him in faith, knowing that He is. When our lives are directed towards Him in activated faith, we will find ourselves along a path for pursuit of God. And even more than simply the pursuit, we have opportunity to catch Him. God can be found if we will seek Him.

    Jeremiah 29:11-14
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

  23. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

  24. God has our back. He protects us from the enemy. All he asks of us is to honor him, worship, praise him with all our hearts and soul and to follow his commandments. He loves us so much that he gave his life for us.

Lord you gave your life for me so that I may live. You are an awesome God. I will praise you and worship you Lord no matter what.

  25. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
I thank YOU JESUS!!! I thank YOU for the TRUE SERVANTS OF GOD THAT YOU have placed in my life. I THANK YOU FOR THE EXAMPLES AND BLESSINGS THAT YOU HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO BE IN MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR THE TRUE MEN AND WOMEN OF GOD IN MY LIFE!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH !!! HALELUJAH!!!

  26. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The way to a life of blessings grace and favor of the Lord is to have fear, as in respect honor reverence to God. One would be wise to obey the commandments because in them there are treasures from the Lord. He will bless. We can go on and do our own thing and the way we like but it will soon run out. Provision will run out, life itself will run out, on the other hand God is from everlasting to everlasting He has no end so how could we ever run out of anything with the God that created all things.

  27. 10 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! (NLT)

  28. Echoes of Psalms are found here in this chapter,,and a few others like:

Ps 19:9 “The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.”

His son Solomon does too in Proverbs 2:5;15:33;16:6;24:21.

But my favorite comparison is in 2 Cor 5 where Paul speaks of our ambassadorship to keep humble fear of the Lord, as phase 1.
“11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. 12For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. 13For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

  29. Verses 2-3 NLT read “How amazing are the deeds of the Lord! All who delight in him should ponder them. Everything he does reveals his glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.” To ponder upon the Lord, will make one full of joy and your praises will be uncontainable.

Verse 10 NLT “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever!”
