Psalm 123

1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

Lord have mercy upon us, we know not what we do Lord, we know not what we say, Lord have mercy upon us for the things that we hear, Lord have mercy upon us for the people we are around. Lord have mercy upon me for I am not perfect. In Jesus name amen

  3. Been kicked, put down, ridiculed, by arrogant people. They watch as I keep watching, waiting, and Praising my God no matter what. Sometimes they contribute throwing battles my way to see if they can watch me fall; but I keep looking towards the heavens knowing my Master will always have Mercy on me. He will take care of everything, all I have to do is keep watch…MY HELP IS IN THE LORD, He is all the help I need. THANK YOU JESUS FOR I KNOW YOUR MERCY ENDURETH FOR EVER.

    • 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

Right! I’m dealing with that too! But even though I feel like Moses standing before the Red Sea with the negative people and voices behind me, I KNOW WHO MY GOD IS! I had a minister tell me that soon God was going to prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Despite what anyone thinks or says God knows the truth sister Maria! Thanks for always believing in me. GOD IS GOOD!

  4. Isaiah 40:26,31 (KJV)
    26. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things , that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

    31. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

    The Servants Heart

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Let us wait upon The Lord, let us serve The Lord

    English Standard Version (©2001)
Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

A WORSHIPPER is the true waiter!

  6. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

We are encouraged to look unto God with an expectation in our mind, and a willingness in our heart to serve him, and fulfill his desires.

The servant who wishes to please their master does not complain, fuss, whine, or whimper when asked to do something. They instead square their shoulders, put a smile on their face, and execute the task at hand with joy. They accomplish things with the hope of pleasing the master, and take their reward in knowing they can serve again.

Oh God help me today to serve you with gladness, and let my opportunity to serve again fill me with enthusiasm.

    Colossians 3:23-24
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:for ye serve the Lord Christ.

  7. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Last night we went back to Dallas Fiest Church. Wayne Huntley spoke again. He spoke to us about the hand of God verses a breakthrough. You can’t just always just want blessings. Sometimes you must go through pressures and breakthrough before you will experience God’s blessings. Genesis 38:27-30.

We should all keep oushing until we get our breakthrough!

  8. No matter what comes our way in life, we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and wait on him. For it is he, who gives us strength.

Psalms 27:14 says, “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the LORD.”

  9. v2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our GOD, until that he have mercy upon us.

Like the Psalmist,if we are willing to acknowledge that we need HIS MERCY everyday and receive it by faith, there will be no shortage of it.

Psalm 100:5… For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

  10. Verses 1-2 AMP ” Unto You do I lift up my eyes, O You Who are enthroned in heaven. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy and loving-kindness for us.” I know where my help comes from and I pray that my eyes stay focused on you Lord always.

Luke 1:50 AMP “And His mercy (His compassion and kindness toward the miserable and afflicted) is on those who fear Him with godly reverence, from generation to generation and age to age.”

  11. 3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

These verses are a petition to the Lord, they have been experiencing scorn and contempt from the rich and proud. People that usually have abundance have a spirit of pride at what they accomplished instead of having a spirit of pity of kindness to them that don’t have much.

    scorn
    /skôrn/
    Noun
The feeling or belief that someone or something is worthless or despicable; contempt.
    Verb
Feel or express contempt or derision for.
    Synonyms
noun. contempt – disdain – mockery – derision
verb. despise – disdain – contemn – misprize – spurn

Lord help us not to get the attitude we are better than anyone.

  12. This chapter is A prayer of God’s humble people for Him to show mercy and so foil the contempt of the proud .

See Psalm 141:8 But Sylvia’s eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: In thee is my trust ; leave not my soul destitute.

  13. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

That we ever keep our eyes on God, not on the storm around us, not on the people who are attacking us, not on the amount of work that is to be done, but on Him. Paul tells us in the word that we war not against flesh and blood, so we cannot focus on the people. Peter lost sight of Jesus as he walked across the water during a GREAT storm, and began to sink. David continually focused on God and not Saul almost everytime. We would be wise and take note of these mighty me of God that we not loose focus, we were made to worship Him….

    • When Neimiah was facing the daunting task of completing the walk, and all the people around him were at odds, he gathered the men to work, having tools in one hand and a sword in the other. Noah built a boat in the middle of the desert and it took him 100 years to do it. Jesus facing the cross, didn’t focus on the pain that he was fixing to endure, but on the fact of giving us an oppertunity to spend eternity with him. no matter what the work load might be, we must keep our focus on Him!

  14.     We’ve been kicked around long enough,
Kicked in the teeth by complacent rich men,
kicked when we’re down by arrogant brutes.

Reminds me of Jonathan Subers message, REMEBER the French revolution. Tremble oh Ye tyrant for I will grow up.

    I will grow in Christ
I will grow in my spiritual walk
I will grow in my Biblical knowledge

I will look to you oh God because when I can’t take no more, when this flesh wants to lash out at my enemy, I smile and say I have a God who is going to take care of me, I have a God who puts my enemies beneath my feet and I am growing in him, and when he says it’s time, whe. He says it’s time.

Oh my enemy your rejoicing will stop. And you’ll know what the heel of my boot feels like.

  15. Just like the duties of a man or maid servant, they wait upon their master or mistress, God desires for us to “wait” upon Him. Serving the Lord does not just mean that we say we are a christian, but requires us to wait upon Him. Be at the Spirit’s beck and call. Ever attentive to what He is speaking for us to do.

It is very easy to get side tracked from “waiting” on God, when others are at ease in Zion. Nevertheless, the scripture says to work out our own salvation, therefore we must work out what God is calling us to do, and do that, regardless of the level of commitment from those around us. God will bless us and multiple our severability, just like the talents, if we will use them and grow them for the Kingdom. But it all starts with “waiting” in the presence of the King for the instruction of the day, and then serving out those commands, in love.

  16. Psalm123:1 NLT

  17. RESPECTFUL ANTICIPATION

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

As a servant waits for the next opportunity to serve his commander, so are we here encouraged to wait patiently with RESPECTFUL ANTICIPATION. Too often we are demanding of our wants and desires we fail to “wait upon the LORD”.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Serving the LORD comes with many benefits and few burdens, however too often we turn benefits into burdens by our own selfish will assuming the LEAD in our lives. The result is that, much like Adam and Eve following their self willed decision, we run and hide from the LORD.

We should seek to SERVE and WAIT upon the LORD, especially in times of misstep or disobedience, Our GOD is approachable!

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Come willing to SERVE in the attitude of RESPECT and find GRACE/FAVOR to HELP in time of need.

    ATTITUDE is EVERYTHING!

  18. This chapter illustrates waiting. The Lord hears all, one must simply learn to wait upon the Lord; “For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth”. As such one must pray for Godly wisdom; “Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  19. “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the LORD

No matter what the devil throws at us,the Lord will give us strength to throw it away from us.
Alot of times people do not realize that the devil is useing them to try and bring down a saint of God,but if we will just hang on and wait on what God has got for us,it will be something great.

Help us God to encourage ourselves as we wait upon the mighty things you are going to do in our lives!!!God is good ALL the time.I refuse to let the devil (try) to discourage me!!!!

  20. Its been said that patience is a virtue. As a servant of the Lord I must learn to wait on him, because his timing is perfect. But I just cant sit and wait, I must praise and wait. He will take care of all things that came up against word and I must not concern myself with that; instead focusing serving my God!

  21. The Heart Of The Master

1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

The hand reveals the heart. A good servant watches not simply for the outer signals but tries to anticipate the master’s wishes and catch their heart. When intent is caught, it’s easier to anticipate action and easier to fulfill to the satisfaction of the master. The hand can reveal the outer actions to one who watches briefly or it can reveal the heart to one who waits to serve.

We have heard, “seek the Lord’s face and not His hand” and I believe that can be applied here as well: “seek the master’s heart and not simply their hand.” I believe sometimes God tests us in serving not by seeing how well we follow a command but in what we do when there is no obvious command. Are we tuned in to the heart of our heavenly Master? Do we have to see the hand give us a signal in order to do what pleases Him, or are we sensitive to His heart? God knows our needs before we ask, but how many times can we say we’ve anticipated and responded to His desires before He’s had to ask?

Must we hear specific preaching about giving, serving, soul winning, etc before we will do it? Or will we become sensitive to the heart of God to figure out His desires before He has to speak them specifically for us to do them NOW? Sometimes when we wait to hear specific instruction, it’s already too late. We might think “here’s my chance!” but God says “ok you didn’t get it the first time so here’s a second chance, let me spell it out this time…”

Other times, we watch the hand to learn what has happened in the past. What precedent has the master given? What actions do they require over and again? What is their manner or pattern of action? Ultimately, a servant watches the hand in order to become an extension of the hand. The longer the delay between the master’s call and our response, the greater the disconnect. When we are plugged to God and serve Him or an earthly master as God desires, we can come to the place of moving in sync with the master’s hand; no lag time, no delayed reaction, simply synchronized response to the master’s heart.

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. (Romans 12:5 KJV)

We in the church are one body, connecting to Christ the head. There are times when the body moves or reacts before a message even comes from the head. Ever touch something hot and jerk your hand back before you realized what was happening? The stimuli of the heat/pain raced from your hand but stopped short of the brain and went only to the spinal column before something amazing happened: stored up there in the spinal column are deep needs and desires of the brain, and in cases when immediate action is needed, that hand doesn’t need the head to tell it to move; the hand moves because the intent of the head is already stored up within the body and so the hand responds before the head has to give it the command. If the hand waited, the damage would be greater. So in serving, there are times God needs us to know His intent already so we ourselves are not damaged when going about serving. It’s about seeking His heart, and being tuned in as well to His intent as relayed through our leadership who stand in the gap between us and the Head. Perhaps we won’t know the intent, but our leadership might. It may not take an all-night prayer meeting for leadership to take one look at our situation and say “get your hand out of the fire NOW!”

The Love of God constrains us, that intent guides us.

Even other parts of the body can learn. Ever hear of muscle memory? Hearing the same commands over and over leads to command-memory. Ladies who vary seldomly in hairstyle can tell you hair can actually be trained to respond certain ways and yield better in styling when done the same way over and over.

Flesh itself also eventually yields through force and not just as natural reaction. Ever see someone take off their glasses and see perhaps the bridge of their nose and/or the sides of their face have dents pressed in by the glasses frame that don’t go away? Restricting garments, when not fitted properly for us, can lead to the body also adjusting itself to conform to what binds it. The Chinese even have an old custom of binding the feet of girls so they will be deformed to stay unnaturally small when they grow to be women. In Africa, there are more primitive peoples where the women put metal rings around their necks to elongate them, and over time their necks are stretched out so much that they couldn’t take the rings off even if they wanted to because they need them to support their head. There are other piercing customs seen even some in pop culture where individuals put disks and other larger objects through piercings to stretch out the body over time.

It all boils down to the process of yielding. The body has different mechanisms for yielding, some voluntary and cooperative, others responsive for the sake of self-preservation. God desires for us to yield, yet not out of force but out of choice. We’ve heard “God loves a cheerful giver;” well God loves a cheerful servant. He wants us to serve Him not simply because we must but because we want to. He wants our hearts to respond to His heart, not simply for our hand to respond to His hand.

3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

The Psalm makes a distinction between God and those who “are at ease” and contemptuous and proud. He is not a cruel Master. Like the song says, it’s so easy to love God. We struggle sometimes to see Him as He really is and get a wrong notion in our minds about what it is to serve Him. He came riding on a colt, He came washing the feet of His disciples, He came to suffer a cross in our place.

If serving Him is all about suffering and hardship and drudgery, we must ask if we are really serving Him or if we are serving the god of religious self-satisfaction that we have tried to mask over Jesus. I read about an interesting contrast of events: when Jesus came riding a colt into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, think of what the Pharisees must have thought. They were likely in the temple praying for God to send the Messiah, and then here comes the ruckus through the city, disrupting their good, pious routine. Stern and religious, perhaps they were irked at all that noise. Yet what they might have tried to stop if they could was the triumphant entrance of the Answer they thought they sought.

Following His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, Jesus spoke with the people and at one point was asked of them “who is this Son of man?” They sought Him, but didn’t even really know Him. They weren’t holed up in the temple, but had come saying “we would see Jesus.” Yet they didn’t know Him. It is possible to try to seek Jesus but still not get it.

I think of Paul when he was still Saul. He had a certain zeal but not according to the true knowledge of Christ. He probably thought he was doing the Lord’s work while He set out to persecute Jesus in the killing of His saints. The man’s heart was filled with murder, done in the name of the God he thought he served. The Damascus Road conversion of Paul sparked a change in that man, and we know him now as a beloved servant of God. How many of us walk around as Sauls, trying to serve God but not yet willing to let God shine His light so we might become Pauls?

If we want to obey the Master’s hand, we must look to the Master’s heart. Some of us are as Saul to ourselves and think doing the Lord’s work means having to butcher ourselves when God said “let Me love you.” Some are addicted to condemnation when God uses conviction. After the cross is resurrection, yet some have the attitude that partaking of the resurrection means they’ve messed up and need to go back to the cross. It’s ok to have joy, it’s ok to have peace.

    Romans 8:18-21
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

This morning God spoke to me the phrase “glorious liberty.” There’s more than suffering, He desires for us to partake of a glorious liberty of life in Him for eternity. We cannot be addicted to ashes when He wants to give us beauty. He’s asked me before, “will you let Me bless you?”

If we want to truly serve Jesus, we must catch the heart of the Master, and that is Love.

    1 Corinthians 13:1-3
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

    Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Our hands can try to labor, but do we have a relationship with Love? Do we know Him? Does He know us?

    1 Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The greatest of these is Love, the greatest of these is Jesus. The very next verse is the beginning of chapter 14 which starts with the phrase “follow after [love]”. If we are following after anything but Love, we are missing the point. Following Jesus means following Love, and His heart beats with love for us.

Do we really want to serve Him? We must get lost in love with Him.

1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

We can find everything else begins to fall in line when we fall in Love and put our focus upon His heart.

    “iServe” flows from “iLove”

    NOW Love

    NOW Jesus

  22. 1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

Hallelujah!! My God is awesome he can move mountains!! Creator of heavens and earth, he alone is where my help comes from and forever will I trust him with all that I am!

  23. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Waiting, even though it might not be viewed by some like it, it’s also an action. We’re doing this and that going forward, praying for this fasting for that telling God our needs and wants working for His kingdom at the same time and suddenly…a stop… A command to “wait”. We have done all else He has said to do, and now we wait upon the Lord. Many of us struggle with this. We want to see results, we want to see things move. We want to see prayers answered…and we are to wait. To wait like this chapter describes in verse two, is one of the most interesting “actions”. Yes it’s action and a very important one. It tests our obedience and attention to the Voice of the Lord, and His commands. It teaches us to be ever carefully to be close to Him and very in tune with His voice. In the wait time we just wait and Hear Him speak. It is a great action to get “full of the Word” His words… You may hear Him speak about this or that..maybe even let us in in some secrets and that’s because we are there “close” to Him and His voice “waiting” for the command. A wait can be a simple test of “how well can they listen?” how well can they obey instructions. I’m reminded of those fun tests they give you in school just to see if you can follow instructions “Obey”. The Teacher tells you Read “Listen” all instructions before you answer… And the quiz begins. It has several things like draw a circle skip thus question do this do that….and at the End it says ignore all other questions ang just put your name on the Top and turn it in…. One of the greatest actions is the “Wait” action with wide open ears. To do that we must remain “close” to Him and hear Him speak. Ready for the guidance, commandment or simply for Him to say you’ve waited and listened to me attentively you heard me talk, you became more than a servant, but a friend..here is a blessing for being my friend…. God is always good. Never get discouraged by a Wait, but listen to what thus saith the Lord….

  24. Lord, I look upward to you, you who live in heaven. Slaves depend on their masters, and a female servant depends on her mistress. In the same way, we depend on the Lord our God; we wait for him to show us mercy. (Psalms 123:1, 2 NCV)

    I need your mercy Lord!!!

  25. 1 I lift my eyes to you, O God, enthroned in heaven.
3 Have mercy on us, LORD,have mercy, for we have had our fill of contempt. (NLT)

I look and lift my eyes to you Jesus, for I need your mercy oh God..!

  26. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

  27. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

What your doing will tell u who your waiting on. As a stay home wife I remember when my husband worked outside the house and I remember spending the day with the kids cleaning and waiting for daddy to come home. I wanted the house clean the food cooked so we could greet him and eat together.

My actions during the day was in preparation for him to come home. He would come home faithfully around the same time. I remember my children sometimes would sit at the window and wait until they could see him and yell daddies home.

I said all the to say, while I’m waiting on Him I’m preparing a place for Him in my life. He feels welcomed and we can daily dine together.

  28. God blesses those who obey him, I await my meet with God in that secret place. I seek your face Lord, you are all I need, have mercy on my soul.

Lord deliver me from the enemy. I look up to you Lord, I bless your Holy name.

  29. I believe that when the psalmist is saying that he lifts up his eyes to the Lord in verse 1, he’s looking, seeking after God, trusting in Him and he’s going to continue to do so “Til He Shows Us His Mercy” (vs4). He knows that the Lord has done the impossible already with the former slave nation of Israel and He will avenge them from the contemptful people who plague them. In Matthew 14:62 Jesus said, “I Am. And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven.” so He prophetically tells the disciples that they will see Him conquer the grave, and ascend to heaven claiming his throne, the only one in power. This is something we can do by praying in the Holy Ghost because He lives in us, our own mediator. Trust in God faithfully and He will show His mercy.

  30. I pray that i dont condempt your Words Jesus.
I want and do what u want and if I dont Lord you always let me know.
Im not perfect but you are you are my guide in this life.
    I surrender!
You, Jesus, are the true vine.
    I love u Jesus… NOW!

  31. 3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

Forgive us oh Lord for comparing ourselves amongst each other. Have mercy on me Lord I am but a sinner.

  32. 3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

Great is his faithfulness to us. He pulls us out of the grasps of sin when we turned unto him.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) -Ephesians 2:4-5

  33. I look to my God for the next move.

When I’m training a green horn I have to remind them sometimes that they are getting paid to learn. I sometimes have to tell them to ask me questions when you don’t have anything to do. Ask me what’s next. Ask me what else can I do. Let me know that your mind is in this. Let me know that you are not just filling a space of time but you are truly interested in what is going on.

God looks at us the same way.
He wants to know that we are truly into what is going on.
We don’t want to come to church, pay our tithes and live a righteous life just in case all this stuff is true. He wants us to look to him for the answers, ask him questions, be exited about what’s next and find a way to stay busy about his business. I’d we look to him
As our master then we should truly understand how we have to keep his work going. The master will pay better for a better product.

He iS my master and iSeek his will

  34. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

Sometimes all you can do is Focus on your relationship with Him…

  35. The best place to look is up. When we are looking up, we don’t have time for what the enemy is trying to get us to do. Our hands and eyes should always be looking unto Jesus.

  36. 1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

I lift not only my eyes but my hands, my faith and my heart to you God. I want you to be the only thing I see…my eyes are fixed on you Jesus!!!!
