Psalm 125

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

  1. What a Good God!
We trust in Him, our God we will live forever with Him.
Thank you Lord, I needed to hear that today.
Trying to move back closer to God’s House and we wont know until monday.
I have to trust God and not man.
I need more of Jesus on a daily basis. Everyday God is there.
    I love you Jesus.
Bring me back to you, Jesus.

  2. 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

    Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

  3. Incorruptible Peace

The Peace that comes from God surpasses all understanding. His Peace can not be corrupted, it is integrity, and may it abide in you. Men may do evil things but when God says there will be Peace, by His word there would be. There is nothing men can do to corrupted in any way. Peace be in Israel !!!!!!

If good exist evil must flee so if everyone will put evil things and evil way a side evil will cease to exist. A lot of people blame God for bad things that happens but those actions are not from God but from human’s bad decisions. Now the fact that some good people pay for the bad decision taken from some humans is a tragedy, but again it is the sin of human that brings out bad consequences in life.

4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

    Prov 14 MSG version

    34 God-devotion makes a country strong;
    God-avoidance leaves people weak.

Pray that our Country will find its way back to CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. 5 God will round up the backsliders, corral them with the incorrigibles. Peace over Israel!

Backsliders are coming home. We must all long to be shepherds after God’s own heart who can seek out the lost sheep and bring them home.
Life for the backsliders is miserable. They may tell you they are doing fine but what kind of trouble are they having behind closed doors. I pray for the backsliders that has left POFW since I have been there.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger has turned away from him. Hosea 14:4
In these verses if God loves the backslider then what makes people think we don’t have to? God help us to be there for the backslider when they come home.

  5. v2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem , so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

What a comfort to know that the LORD keeps and protects HIS people from harm.
We are in the safest place, when we fully depend on GOD as our strength and protection.

    iPray
    iDepend
    iPraise
iAm Thankful for HIS comfort and protection

  6. 5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

The way to The Lord is straight and narrow. If you turn you will still think you have have peace. Search for truth and you shall find peace.

  7. v4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

GOD will honor and bless those that promote righteousness and include His principles in the laws of their country.
” Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” Proverbs14:34 .

This tells me do no evil and do what’s honest, praiseworthy ,noble and in purity.
Some people think of evil as dreadful wrongs such as murder , adultery or idolatry .

James 4:17 says,” Therefore to him, that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
There will be no sin in the New Jerusalem .
    Revelation 21:27

Through water baptism in the name of
JESUS CHRIST for remission of sins and receiving HIS SPIRIT, one takes on the righteous character of GOD and HIS nature.
    Praise the LORD!

” Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
    2 CORINTHAINS 5:17

iPray to do no evil and to do what’s right and honest.
    iPraise
    iAm Blessed

  8. This chapter illustrates straightforward. One reads of their straightforwardness, which all (I) would be wise to heed. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  9. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever

We know a mountain as a physical boundry. We also know that God puts things in our lives to keep us protected from the enemy. Just as a mountain climer can not cliam Mt. Everest without alot of training, and equipment, so are we with our mountains. The reason why we sometimes can not get over them is because we do not possess the right attitude, or the right spiritual equipment, neccessary to climb that mountain. My prayer today is that God would help us get the right equipment in order to climb our mountians.

  10. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever. (Psalms 125:2 KJV)
Blessed be God, my mountain, who trains me to fight fair and well. He’s the bedrock on which I stand, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight, The high crag where I run for dear life, while he lays my enemies low. (Psalm 144:1, 2 MSG)
Praise The Lord in whom I can put my Trust in!!

  11. 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

The entire time the disciples seemed to be at the mercy of the storm they were protected by almighty God.

Though he lay napping within the ship it was a safe haven.

No matter the storm or trial, or even if Jesus seems asleep and far away, his word stands true that he is right there with us through it all!

    Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

  12. Finding Strength

They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
    Psalm 125:1

My trust in You not only brings blessings and peace, it also changes me for the better.

  13. THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

The foundation of a building affects every other aspect of the building. It determines the stability of the facility. It determines the size and height of the building. Much like our lives. FAITH is the foundation of our relationship with JESUS.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Faith being the foundation of our relationship with GOD, leads to the question. What is THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH?

Verse 1 teaches us; THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH is TRUST.

Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Place everything in the hands of the LORD.

    iTrust
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

    NOW

  14. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

He is the everlasting…from generation to generation God is still the same. That same power that resurrected Jesus abides in us today. He changes not. The same that opened the red sea that His people may cross, the same that created the heavens and the earth speaking it to existence, that is the Lord. However to trust requires for us to have our personal relationship with Him. We sometimes may say; “oh I only buy this product or brand because we trust it”…but what do we trust about it? It’s durability, it’s dependability, it’s use…in other words it Will NOT FAIL us when we need it. Likewise the LORD will NEVER FAIL. His love never fails us. The best thing is that He is there 100% of the time, not only when we need it. We must remember that He is wanting for us tool seek a relationship with Him, to learn to trust Him, to put our faith in Him, and with it our whole heart. We must come to the place where we fully trust/have faith in God with every area of our lives and surrender it to Him, and then we shall become like mount Zion which cannot be removed always firm on our faith in whom we have trusted.

    Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.

  15. Psalm125:1they that trust in The Lord shall be as mount Zion, which can not be removed,
    but abideth forever.
    —————————–
    —– always believing
    —–do not aloud themselves
    to be shaken( faith)
—– always in one mind( Jesus)
    —– always ready
    ——always waiting
    —–always hoping
    —–always positive rather than negative
—–always growing, becoming stronger and stronger( in knowledge, understanding…..)
—– give up!!! Is not part of the agenda.
—-why? Because of a made up mind, attitude, knowing that whatever happens our trust is in the LORD, i will look up⬆to you!
—- now I wrote growing in him and understanding,( understanding his word).
    — sometimes we don’t have to understand what is going on, just trusting in him and having faith in him and if we learn to trust in him, PEACE,will be there.
    In Jesus name,AMEN!!!!!!

  16. 1 Those who trust in the LORD are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. (NLT)

1 Those who trust in, lean on, and confidently hope in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides and stands fast forever. (AMP)

Trust is huge and so very important!! God I trust in you, and you alone!!
*Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

  17. ILove to eat the Word

Good God is Good to the Good

to be well with, be good for
    to be pleasing
(Hiphil) to do well, do good, act right, act rightly

GOD is good to the good.

The only way to get good is to get God.

  18. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Trust in The Lord, because He knows everything and He will guide you.. All you have to do is listen, obey and have faith.

  19. NLT 3 The wicked will not rule the land of the godly, for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.

Oh how Hollywood and their liberal base, are always trying to rule the land of the godly. This is the time to stand up for righteousness, and not be ashamed of speaking of Jesus!

  20. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
IT MAY SEEM IMPOSSIBLE TO BE RIGHTEOUS……… BUT IN REALITY IT IS ONLY AS HARD AS WE MAKE IT!!! ITS BECAUSE OF GOD’S GRACE THAT ABOUNDS AND HIS BLOOD THAT WAS SHED THAT ALLOWS US TO BE RIGHTEOUS!!! HALELUJAH!!! JESUS!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! YOU ARE MY ALL!!! THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU!!! GRACIAS PADRE!!!

  21. God knows the intentions of every heart. Let me shine for you Lord!
Nothing matters more than you Lord. Lord deliver me from all evil.

  22. verse 3: For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; Lest the righteous put forth their hands onto iniquity.

3: The Scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous; for then the righteous might us their hands to do evil.

  23. 4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

Treat others the way you want to be treated, we can’t expect to go around being wicked and not expect the same in return. If we are good to others, to ourselfs and to GOD! If we are to be like Jesus than we must strive every day to be good. To be better than the day before, our goal is to seek his righteousness and to be as righteous and upright as we can. God is going to be good to us if we are always trying to be good. He’s just good like that.. He’s God 🙂 what a good God we serve ❤

  24. Earthquake

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

    Matthew 17:19-21
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Sometimes it feels like our whole world is shaken up in turmoil. But there is a place of relationship with God that gives a solid foundation that will not be removed. Instead of living in upheaval and instability, we instead can stand sure and speak to the mountains against us, that they would be cast into the sea.

    Hebrews 12:22-29
22But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

If we are not rooted in Jesus, we can expect to be shaken; but if we stand sure in Him, we can do as Paul and begin to shake off the problems and cares of life by speaking the word of faith.

    Acts 28:3, 5
3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. … 5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

What will be shaken and removed, you or the mountain against you?

    NOW Victory

  25. Verses 1-2 CEV “Everyone who trusts the Lord is like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken and will stand forever. Just as Jerusalem is protected by mountains on every side, the Lord protects his people by holding them in his arms now and forever.” This reminds me of that song “Closer/Wrap Me In Your Arms” that says:

So take me to that place Lord,
    To that secret place where
    I can be with you
You can make me like you

    Wrap me in your arms
    Wrap me in your arms
    Wrap me in your arms

  26. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

When God is for us, who can be against us? He has a hedge around us and all of our tomorrows pass by him today. If anything comes against us-it had to be approved by him first!

  27. 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

A simple truth is birds of a feather flock together, the psalmist tells us that if the wicked oppress th righteous it might tempt/provoke them to sin. Whenever a nation is ruled by a wicked man, and sometimes along with their pagan wife (Jezebel) Israel falls apart, their relationship with God dies. The psalmist I believe is asking God to be merciful to them and give them a God-fearing leader, so that God can literally lead His people through His vessel. It was always God’s intention to be the King of Israel, but whenever His people become tempted by their neighbors and wicked men, they fall. They forget Gods mercy, and love, because they turn away from God. We can only face in one direction, we have the choice, time is short but we need to recognize what this psalmist does: we need to sever relationships that are with people ‘of this world’ for they can become our stumbling blocks: “If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one foot than to be thrown into hell with two feet.” (Mark 9:45). Body parts where used as illistrations for people of the body of Christ. Jesus has the keys to devils home in hell, and has given us authority over the enemy. When he attacks us with wicked plots and snares we can rebuke the devil and his pip-squeaks in Jesus name and they must flee. The enemy will only flee for a ‘season’. This is why we have to be continually in His Holy Spirit, so we can be equipted with Jesus, and Jesus surround us with his omnipotent hedge of protection.
