Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

  1. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

We should all be praising God for all that Hes done. I know I should….not only should we praise him with our voice and dance but the many other talents Hes given us we should praise Him with.

  2. PRAISE EVERYWHERE

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Praise is not reserved for the snactuary alone!

The word firmament releases the mind to understand the freedom of PRAISE.

7549. raqiya{, raw-kee´-ah; an expanse, i.e. the firmament or (apparently) visible arch of the sky:—firmament.

As far as we can see in HIS created world we are to PRAISE HIM.

    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  3. 6. let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise Te the Lord.

If its alive it can praise! If it makes a sound it’s can praise! We’re given a list of instruments that we can use to acompany our praise…not limited to, but examples of like wind instruments, string instruments, cymbals(percussion) Psaltery, harp, organ…if it resonates it can praise. And it says it to be loud and high sounding. To me that says don’t lower your voice while out on public settings. Let the praises be heard as we proclaim His greatness. It’s to be heard that every one should know that Great is our God! He deserves our praise even in the tough times when you’re weak and feel as if you can’t…offer sacrifice of praise in obedience, praise ye the Lord. If you have hands, you can clap. With your feet you can run, stomp, and dance. With your voice you can bless, shout, and sing a new song. If you can play it just makes it sound beautiful…the key is to make a joyful noise and praise Him. Praise His great acts that He has done, praise who He is, and praise for the victories to come. Hallelujah to the great and mighty King Jesus.

  4. Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalms 150:1-6 KJV)
As a body in Christ, let us PRAISE THE LORD!!!

  5. Ilove to eat the Word

    Just Praise Him

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

These scripture give the Church of Christ trouble…because they don’t believe in musical instruments….

I believe in the whole Bible…

    🙂

  6. I must say this is my one of my all time favorite chapters! Make a joyful noise into The Lord all he lands. Music has one of the most important roles in a service. Many don’t understand the significants of music. lucifer was the angle of music , he was made up of instruments and when he moved made music. This is why we must pray for our praise team every day. The enemy knows how important music is to God. This is also the reason why music has the biggest impact in our world. Be carful in what you are listening to. God is not mocked!

  7. Psalms 150:6
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
    Praise ye the Lord.

    The Bible does not say
“Praise ye The Lord only on Wednesday, and Sundays. Praise The Lord when good news comes, and when he does stuff for us. Praise him when we feel like it. Praise him especially when it is convenient.”

The command for praise stretches far beyond our comprehension of time, and space. God is receiving praise every moment in eternity.

We get to join in with the heavenly chorus and praise God. The reason? He is worthy 🙂

  8. Like Bro Morgan mentioned, the Church of Christ try to ignore this scripture. One day at college, a CoC member asked me where we get the idea that we’re supposed to have instruments at church ( I was glad he asked ). I opened my Bible and read him this chapter. As he sat there in silence, I asked him where the scripture was that said you couldn’t have them. He said, “Yeah, I don’t know where we get that from.”

I thank God for placing me in a church that has scripture for everything we do!

  9. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
JESUS!!! YES I PRAISE YOU!!! I LOVE YOU LORD!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! I THANK YOU DADDY!!! JESUS!!! GRACIAS PADRE!!! YOU ARE GREAT AND MIGHTY!!!

  10. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Only He is exceedingly great. If we ever stop to think about all that He is done for us, WOW! When I think of the times He is stayed the hands of death in my life, and kept me, not just alive, but safe too. HALLELUJAH! When I think of all the blessings He is sent to me, all the wonderful words spoken to me, and all the marvelous wonders that I have had the privilege to get to see so far, all I can do is praise and worship, for His greatness is exceeding my minds capacity…

  11. Wow!

Growing up and going to a baptist school we never looked at this scripture. The church was suppose to be quiet. Apparently God likes it loud.

    Live out loud POFW!

    And praise him!

  12. Praise Godbecause he is God and he is good. It is not by anything that we could do, but just because he is God. The things that it tells people to use only magnify God greater. It’s not a show, it’s glorifying God!!!

  13. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Let’s just praise the Lord yeah?!? You don’t have to have the best voice to sing unto the Lord.. If you can’t sing… DANCE!! SHOUT!!! You can even play the triangle and praise the Lord, as long as it comes from the heart ❤ thank you Jesus for being a God worth praising

  14. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

God deserve our greatest praise, for there is no name above his name. So he should always receive our best, for he gives nothing but his best to us each and everyday. I will praise no one on this earth more then I praise my father who is in heaven. I will praise him with my heart and soul for it is his presence that that brings me life and what a amazing gift it is. Thank you Jesus, may my lips always be singing you praise.

  15. This is my favorite Psalm & my favorite quote when people tend to ask me how can I be so happy in the mornings. My answer is I live in borrow time. What they don’t know is that doctors told us I was not going to live for much longer (that was in 1996); but GOD!!!! He show them that He had other plans, He showed them that He was the one in control, He showed them that there is no impossibles for HIM. I PRAISE MY LORD EVERY MORNING FOR I am ALIVE!!!!! While there is still breath in my lungs I will continue to Praise My GOD!!!!! Anytime, Anywhere, Anyhow… I will find a way to Praise HIM beyond my circumstances. I will give HIM the highest Praise at all times, which is the Praise done with our lives, the way we act, speech, and love one another. Praise Be the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise Him, no matter where you are at, no matter the circumstances, no matter who is watching, no matter how you do it, PRAISE HIM FOR HE IS WORTHY!!!!!!!

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

  16. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
If you are breathing today praise The Lord and if you are having troubles Praise ye The Lord. God knows where we are in life and he is waiting for us to praise his name. Always have a song of praise in your heart. I have a habit of doing something and I hum a song all the time. At work will be working and I’m humming away. Don’t let anyone take your praise.

  17. Woohoo !!( It’s working now)
    Psalm 150.6
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
    Praise ye the LORD.
    ———-
PRAISE HIM, PRAISE HIM, PRAISE HIM!!!!
Praise him also in our minds. Praise him everywhere, praise him anytime, praise him just because he is GOD, praise him because he is good.praise him because of what he has done, praise him because he is the only worthy of praise.
Praise him because his faithfulness, praise him out of thankful heart!
    Love you Abba!
    In Jesus name AMEN!

  18. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Just praise The Lord! No excuses! A few chapters ago the bible declared that his name is excellent!

Psalms 148:13 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

God is great and greatly to be praised! Even if God never does anything for us he is still worthy of the praise! Just the mention of his name: Jesus!

There is power in the name of Jesus! Mountains move, Chains are loosed, darkness flees… And God is as close as the mention of His name.

  19. How do you praise the Lord? I praise Him with the loud voice with singing and dancing and laughter! God is good, He deserves the highest praise for I am but nothing and He is EVERYTHING! 🙂

  20. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals

For all of those that doesn’t believe in musical instruments in the house of God,this scripture is for you!!

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord

And this scripture is for every living thing that is breathing this morning,PRAISE YE THE LORD!!!!!

  21. 1 PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary : praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. PRAISE YE THE LORD let continuous praise come from my mouth always.

  22. THE LORD is high and lifted up!
I am glad everytime i listen to my praise music it reminds me of how this church is a revival church. On fire of the Holy God of Isreal.
Thank u Lord for the desire to praise you Jesus.

    Revival is NOW!

  23. Are you breathing?…Simple said,”Praise Him”….”Don’t Withold It!”…Just let it flow, like streams of living waters.

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

    “Now”……………………

  24. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

I got my shouting shoes on. Its time to dance.

  25. 150:1 The final great Hallellujah

150:2 Why God should be praised.
his mighty acts. In creation and redemption.

See Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord God, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy mightyhand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth , that can do according to thy works , and according to thy might?

    Praise ye the Lord!!!!!!

  26. As a child growing up, I went to many different churches. I have even been in a church where there was no instruments for music, and the women were not allowed to speak. It makes me very sad to think how much these souls are missing out on a relationship with God, because their churches are built on the traditions of men.

I’m glad I go to a church that is built upon the Word of God. Thank You Pastor for standing on and teaching the truth of God’s Word to us. Thank You for allowing God to move in our mists. Thank You for not being in a hurry when God wants to move.

Thank You JESUS that we have Freedom in you to sing, dance, worship, and praise you. (Every man, woman, and child.) “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”

  27. This chapter illustrates recognition. “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord”; the reward was recognized, over the sacrifice. One must recognize the fact that it is a; privilege, honor, blessing to praise God (Jesus); “I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  28. Anything and everything has the mandate in thie chapter to praise the Lord. All creatures large and small, everything that can make some noise, in any manner, and especially the people of God. Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord! Let all the musicans give God praise, for He is worthy!!!

  29. This chapter defeats all those who say praise should be quiet and reverent. It shows us the many ways that God allows us to praise him. It also gives anyone breathing the right to praise the Lord and erases any excuses to not give God glory and praise. “Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord!”

  30. God is awesome! Our family has a new testimony today of God’s greatness. We have all been proclaiming his awesome power!

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

Jessie told the people in the ER that he was able to praise God and tell about Him because he was still alive! Jessie still has breath, he praises The Lord. I still have breath and I praise The Lord too! Our little 3year old Olivia was parsing God and praying for her daddy, PRAISE THE LORD!!!

God IS good and his mercies endure forever!

  31. From Revival to The Place Of Praise

6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

There is a place in praise that goes beyond the beginning of a church service, that even goes beyond the confines of the church house.

    Psalm 118:17
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

There is a place in praise that takes us beyond survival and into revival. See, we can survive but miss revival. Survival is about what we managed to go through and not die; revival is about what we go through that crucified our flesh and let Jesus give us resurrection.

Don’t believe it? Out of Judah sprang our Savior, who declared “I AM the Resurrection” in John 11:24-25, “25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”

Survival is about missing death in order to keep life; revival is about going through death to have true life in order to get to the place of *praise* on the other side. Praise is the place of revival:

    Acts 2:1-11
“1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.”

The church was born, the Resurrection was fulfilled in the believers that became the early church, and what happened *immediately*? They declared the wonderful works of God! The early church went through death to receive life in order to reach the place of praise!

    Romans 12:1-2
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

What happened here? Was finding the place of praise a one-time thing? Was is just for the early church? NO! We are to find that place over and over again in our walk with God! The place of praise and revival is meant to be a continual habitation for the believer! We go through the process DAILY:

    1) present ourselves a living sacrifice — process of death to self

    2) serve God, in the way that pleases Him — fulfillment of death, burial

    3) be transformed through the renewing of our minds — resurrection, life of Christ in us

    4) and prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God — declare His wonderful works, go to the place of praise!

God wants revival to happen in us but we must first be willing to get rid of the poverty mentality that drives us into survival mode! We must face death to self, we must be willing to take some risks (walk by faith), be bold in the Holy Ghost, step out of our comfort zone, go beyond our understanding and trust God, etc. When we get out of survival mode and allow death to our will, understanding, selfish desires, etc, we give place for revival and can find the place of praise.

V6 of today’s Psalm declares: “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”

IF YOU HAVE THE BREATH (RESURRECTION) OF GOD, PRAISE HIM!

DON’T SETTLE FOR SURVIVAL, GET REVIVAL AND GO TO THE PLACE OF PRAISE!!

There is REVIVAL NOW if we want IT

Let’s live through NOW Revival so we can give Jesus a continual NOW Praise!

Remember, just as in Acts 2, after revival was harvest: the city heard the PRAISE of the church and it gave a platform for SALVATION to be preached and received. How many souls are waiting on us to go to the place of praise so there can be harvest? The church reached the place of praise and IN ONE DAY, thousands of souls were added to the church!

If we want to be truly Apostolic, we must commit to daily reaching the place of praise and dwelling there! What can God do in a day through us if we get the revival He wants for us?

Would we be willing to believe that our cup can run over? That we might have a line of people waiting to be baptized? That we don’t have to wait for a new building, that God can take care of where to put them? What about one day having church and missing food and fellowship afterward because people are getting the Holy Ghost and being baptized for hours on end? What about having to use Pastor’s pool for baptisms because there are too many to wait on taking turns with the church baptistry? What about overflowing into the Trinity River from downtown with baptisms in the name of JESUS?

What about multitudes hungry for God following after Him such that the church couldn’t get a moment away even if we tried? What about having people calling and visiting and seeking around the clock, trying to get ahold of what has ahold of us?

    THAT’S THE PLACE OF PRAISE!

That’s the place of Judah, the platform that brings Jesus to the city!

    NOW Revival
    NOW Praise
    NOW Harvest

    NOW JESUS

  32. The Lord is worthy of our Praise no matter where you are….like Pastor said not only in the Sanctuary…..I love to praise the Lord,

David says to shout praises to the Lord, everything that has breathe should not be scared to show love for God. I don’t want to miss my blessing, I will praise you Lord with all of my heart and soul. I honor you Lord forever.

  33. When we praise God, we should go all out! God wants not only the praise of individuals but also that of the whole orchestra in unison. Sometimes God’s people have gotten the idea that reverence= quiet, being worshipful means being subdued. The psalmist’s call to worship encourages passionate, loud, active, and harmonious praise, inviting us to use every means we can come up with to celebrate our God’s powerful acts and supreme greatness. All our praise here is just a practice run for the awesome celebration in heaven when the multitudes will sound like “the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: ‘Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.” (Rev 19:6).

  34. This chapter shows that we have plenty of things to praise God for. Even when things are not going right, we should just lift up our hands and start praising God. By doing this you’re showing that there is victory even when it doesn’t seem like it and it also will give the devil a bad day.

  35. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

This is the sum of the whole chapter. Everything that has breath! As for me -I choose to praise.

  36. Verse 6 NLT “Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!”

I have been blessed to be in church all my life and this is how we roll. I don’t know anything other than praise! Thank you Jesus.
