Isaiah 6

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,

12 And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

  1. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Holy is our God {THE LORD OF HOSTS} his glory fills the whole earth!

The glory of God is every where, whether we know or feel his GLORY is up to us. Are we close enough to God to see it. How spiritual we are makes the difference. How prayerful we are. The closer we get to God the more we will see of him. We must always remember he is every where.
I pray that I can become more like him everyday that I can see more of his GLORY!

We must ask ourselves the question where we stand with God? Are we what he wants us to be? Are we doing his will?

    LORD SHOW ME YOUR GLORY!!!

    2 Kings 6:16-17

16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

LORD OPEN MINE EYES THAT I MIGHT SEE WHO IS WITH ME!!

If we would pray through we could see his GLORY!!!!!

  2. God is good. I praise His holy name! I will always pray and love Jesus. He is my true friend. When the land is destitute or vacant Jesus is not. He is still there. Thank u Lord.

  4. WARNING!!!!!

Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” And he said, “Yes, go, and say to this people, ‘Listen carefully, but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing.’ Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way, they will not see with their eyes, nor hear with their ears, nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing.” (Isaiah 6:8-10 NLT)

Here we are July 5, 2013. Our mission the region of Ft. Worth. Lord have mercy!! My prayer focus shouldn’t be ‘now I lay me down to sleep.’ It shouldn’t be Lord it’s all about ‘me’ prayers, will you please give me this!
Our prayer should be off of us(me), and turned around as we stand in the gap for our city!!
The Lord brought us out of darkness and opened our eyes, our ears, our understanding. Now in return we need to be praying that the eyes, ears, and understanding will be open as we are sent to preach the gospel on our city.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:19, 20 KJV)

  5. Our Lord is calling us to armed to duty!!!!!! This is our call to duty that will only end at His Return!!! Are you ready??

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Let’s get our full armor of God on, get ready to spread the news, do not be discourage by rejection for it is not us they reject; it is Jesus Christ. 7. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

We are all of sinful nature, born in sin shapen in inquiry. Out of natural carnal man comes the natural/carnal spirit, but here we see a confession of unworthiness and human nature, address by a seraphim when he takes a coal from off the fire and touches the his lips and purifies him. A sign to us that when the fire of the Holy Ghost comes in our lives, it singes out the carnality and purifies us so that those things that proceeds out of our lips would be pure, and holy. Thus the reason we need to be renewed daily in the fire of the spirit to keep the purification in our lives. Touch my lips and my life today Lord with the coals of your spirit that I may be purged again and again.

  8. THE FRUIT OF THE LORDS GLORY

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

The prophet describes an atmosphere we have been privileged to a few times @ The POFW. We have seen his GLORY, we have felt his GLORY, we have heard his VOICE, we have been cleansed of our own sins. Angels have established their presence in our midst. We have felt as if we were dead as the result of our unworthiness to be in HIS HOLY, HOLY, HOLY presence.

    NOW

We are charged with the same responsibility as the prophet. We can hear the call of the LORD, ”

Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? The region of Fort Worth is waiting on us the church, The POFW to answer the call of the HOLY, so they can answer the call to repentance, we MUST GO, we MUST be sent into the city of Fort Worth and surrounding areas, with this gospel of JESUS.

Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Who is willing to GO? Who will be sent into the field TODAY, Saturday, Sunday, next week? The FIELD is WHITE for the harvest.

THE FRUIT OF THE LORDS GLORY is the burning desire to carry his message to the people who need it most, the LOST.

JESUS help us bear the FRUIT of your GLORY and GO for YOU into the city, county and region of Fort Worth.

    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

NOW Send ME to someone, or some people that are hurting and in need of YOU JESUS.

  9. Verse 5 NKJV:
    “So I said:
“Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
    And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
    The Lord of hosts.””

The study notes of my bible says this of verse 5:
undone: Dissolved, melted, ruined by the very presence of such a perfect Being (Heb. 12:29), unclean: What separates us from God is not our physical limitations, but our moral filthiness, which is not so much in action as it is in character. Isaiah’s problem here was not what he had done, but what he was: unclean by nature when measured in the light of God’s holiness. lips: The expression of the life.

  10. God wants us to do the work of the kingdom until he returns. That could be years from now or in a few seconds. Lord please help us to stand on your word, do as you say do and wait in you…

  11. 5 Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs.
7 He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” (NLT)

Jesus, touch my lips daily with coals so that I may be forgiven and clean.

  12. 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate

In the midst of the great forsaking there shall be some that return. We must pray & intercede for our lost loved ones so that they can be in that portion of those who come back. Our backslider boards are so important especially as we see that day approacbing.

  13. The Greatest Cleansing.

6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Wow. What to say? Let’s start with this. The seraphim got a coal that was on FIRE, and he put it on his mouth. Well, we know that the tough is the unruley part of the body, and what would happen if fire got on it? It would burn and hurt enough that you wouldn’t want to talk. So it takes care of Gossip. Second, the alter is a type of death, therefore the coal is the purifcation. Which when applied to the mouth then purifies the words that come out.
As I continue to read I saw that it said that the coal took away the iniquity and that sin was purged. In Matt. 12:34 it says,”O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” We first have to think about sin, allow it to get into our hearts, and then the mouth will speak. So the only way that the coal got to the bottom of the heart was through the mouth. Be careful what you eat Spiritually. Is it posion or life? Life and death are in the power of the tough.

  14. JESUS CHRIST IS our source of holiness.
GOD had mandated that HIS people be holy like HIM.
1 Peter :15-16 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation ; because it is written , Be ye holy; for I am holy .

We are to separate from sin and commit ourselves unto GOD,
Then we can enjoy the privileges of separation and holiness .
As we continue to reach out to unbelievers and evangelize our city, and our world with the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

    iPray
    iServe
    iReachout
    iGive
    iPraise
    iWorship
    Now
    GOD IS HOLY!!!!

  15. This chapter illustrates hardness. One must; be humble, repent and pray; “Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  16. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. (Isaiah 6:5-7 KJV)

Thankful for the live coal. Lord purge me of my iniquity and sin.

  17. Ilove to eat the Word

    Burn our lips

Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” (Isaiah 6:5-7 NLT)

Thank-you Jesus for cleaning us from our sins. I believe the New Testament version of this account is found in Acts.

Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. (Acts 2:3, 4 NLT)

  18. 7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

The cleansing must take place before the calling. When we approach God he has an extraordinary plan, and purpose waiting to unfold. By us cleansing ourselves we make a way for God, and prepare our hearts. We will proclaim loudly “here I am! Send me!”and take on the greatest mission of this life!

  19. 1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Something happens when The Lord is lifted up in the presence of men. If this city is going to be reached for Jesus we have got to lift him up.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. -John 12:32

  20. 8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
God is calling us and we have to have a willing heart. There are lost souls out there that are looking for something other than the world. What better place for them to be than that house of God. Lord help me have a willing heart and a witness for you.
We (I ) have to stand in the gap of our lost loved ones.

  21. 3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

We are born in sin and shapen in iniquity. The world we live in is saturated in sin, it’s everywhere we look. It’s only by the purging fire of the Holy Ghost that we can enter into His presence clean. The Christian life is a journey, trying to make it to heaven. Through trials we grow and learn how to be a better person. Without the Holy Ghost making it is impossible, we need Jesus!

    1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

  22. In this scripture, you can see great things in the throne room of God, and everything is in order, and giving him Glory & Praise. His train fills his temple, and by now with all that Glory. I’m sure, it is grown to the extremes, and whom shall I send is the question? Do you think God is still asking this very same question among his children? The coal that touch his lips was so hot the seraphim had to use tongs. But, yet it was not to hot to touch his lips to purge his sin. Getting Hot in the kitchen now, and he is ready for battle, and to be sent for the mission.

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

    “Be Blessed”……………………………………………………………….

  23. Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: The whole earth is full of his glory.
Rev.4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is to come.

  24. Loss

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Sometimes we lose seething from our lives that feels like a loss but we must examine if it really is. King Uzziah died, but then Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up. We might be surprised what stands between us and seeing God as never before, so we must be careful about how we judge loss.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven

    Joshua 3:1-5
1 And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over. 2 And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host; 3 And they commanded the people, saying, When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it. 4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore. 5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.

There had to be sanctification, or separation, before crossing over Jordan to receive the promise. God can help us greatly in the refining of our lives if we give Him permission and come with an attitude of repentance and hunger for Him, but we must keep the attitude that anything we lose is not a loss if it means getting more of Him.

    Philippians 3:7-8
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ

  25. Lord use me to reach the lost souls. May your will be done. Fort Worth is hungry all we need to do is be humble and bring the word of God to those who don’t know better.

Thank you Lord in advance for what you are about to do in your temple.

  26. 6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Always go to the altar where there is fire. Here is a prophet being shown a vision. He has a good heart, great desires and is seeking a relationship with the glorious and almighty God. He then sees the holines and glory of God campsites to our unclean sinful nature. He recognized his need for cleansing. “woe unto me..”. The seraphim takes only a burning coal from the altar touching his lips and he is cleansed… Cleansed from sin and touched the lips close to the tongue I guess because it’s one of our major outlets. What’s really inside of us comes out through there. Now only a touch of the fire can cleanse us, so then why do some hesitate to run to the altar during altar call?
Someone once told me to ALWAYS GO TO THE ALTAR no matter what, GOD has a blessing something for me there. Now every preached message is not the same, but HIS FIRE is the same and my sinful nature is too. A prophet said “woe unto me..”
Woe unto me a sinful man!! I shall go to the altar and let the fire purge, cleanse, heal, renew, sanctify…me

  27. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.

Everytime we look at Jesus we should be made aware of how we actually are. Before Christ, we should be made aware of our shortcomings and how much we need him. my definition of sin is the absence of Jesus Christ. When I look at him, I’m reminded of who I really am, but at the same time, I see who I can be through him. May his character consume every part of my being-mind, body, soul.

  28. What Can Your Praise Do?

3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

The cries of the seraphims caused the posts of the doors to move. It caused the house to be filled with smoke. How loud do you think they have to be to cause the doors to shake and the house to be filled with smoke?

When you praise God does your praise fill the place you are in? We should shout, yell, praise, and dance with all that is in us.

  29. Only God can forgive sin. We don’t have to walk around feeling sorry for our past sins. When God forgives us, he takes our past sins far away from us. The enemy will do everything in his power to keep you at a stagnate point, but our God is greater than that.

  30. I Am Sent

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8 NIV)

Has your heart cried this, “Lord send me”.. Are you allowing your voice to be heard by His ears, does He know you enough to hear your call.
We all have a love for God but we need a love like Gods. A burden for the lost and the hungry!
It’s time POFW to raise up standards for ourselves and know we have been chosen, we have been sent. We need to impact lives!

  31. 12 And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

    The Return

In the midst of all the wrong, in the midst of everyone forsaking Christ, a small few returned. No matter how bad we precieve that things are, someone will always be hungry for Jesus. It is them, that will play the part of bringing restoration to the dry and thirsty land.
When trees, like oaks, cast their leaves, their leaves are holding many of the much needed neutrients for the survival of the tree. The tree has to shed the leaves to be able to get the vitamens, and other neutrients that it needs back into the ground so that it can once again absorbe them and continue to grow.

Those hurgy for Christ, ask questions, tell what He is doing, and tell others of what He is doning and has done. When we die to our flesh and share what He is doing, and has done, we are able to be used by God in causing His kingdom to grow.

There is comming a day when Christ will return for His bride. A day when it is going to be least expected. A day when there is even more darkness around than we have ever seen. It is up to us to keep telling others, and being church to those around us that they might become grafted into His kingdom too.

  32. Dulled Senses
    vs9-10

Our God is long-suffering, but in this case the people’s chronic rebellion has withered this patience. These verses sounds like God wants to make his people’s heart’s calloused. The actual essence of vs 9-10 is that the Lord looks into the future and sees a nation that has grown even more hard hearted. Isaiah is commissioned, and his message will cause the people’s heart’s to grow even more calloused. Isaiah, gives God’s message of repentance to Israel, which is nothing new, they have heard it from many other prophets before Isaih. They have become already calloused to this message all together. So why does the Lord keep pursuing them? God’s love for his children is relentless, and a remnant within the nation will hear and obey. Perhaps the people will remember his words and repent after calamity has struck. Even in this wrath, God exercises mercy. Thankfully those who keep their hearts open to the Lord’s rebuke will know only his love and mercy. God disciplines his children, whom he loves, but the faithful need not fear the exasperated anger he turns toward these defiant sinners.

  33. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. HERE I AM I SEND ME LORD
