Isaiah 19

1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.

Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.

10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

14 The Lord hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of theLord of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the Lord of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

19 In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to theLord.

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lordof hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lordbecause of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

21 And the Lord shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the Lord, and perform it.

22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

25 Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

  1. 1-4. The sinners this world will seek there Gods but none thing will happen there rivers will drie up but thank God his river of life will always flow will always be watering my life

  2. Even during the dark days and wicked places there can be an altar built unto the Lord and his name is Jesus.
irepent no matter where I’m at.

  3. 1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

When even Egyptian idols are moved at His presence, how can we who are alive and called by His Name stand in His presence and not be moved to worship and praise Him?

I don’t want to be one who acts like a statue or idol in God’s presence, but let me act like who I am – someone who has been anointed and pulled from the enemy’s hand by the only true, living, powerful God!

  4. Egypt will fight against itself. This reminds me that Praise confuses the enemy and I know at the end we win for our Lord gave us the Victory!!!! The oppressor will become the oppressed. Thank you Jesus for you reign!!!!!

  5. Who are you putting trust in today? Who are you listening to? God forbid is we are listening to others that are leading us astray. When we think we have escaped danger or trail that we are going thru but yet don’t put God in the equation danger will prevail and evil pursues sinners and will overtake except they repent. I woke up to the song in my head God is a prayer answering God. I have prayers I need answered today but I know in God’s timing he will answer. As the old song goes I will be somewhere listening when God’s speak. We have to remove out ourself and our stinking thinking and think like God. You have to be ready to witness when God places someone in your path. God help us (me) to be ready to be a witness for you.

5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

Hey everyone, I love to share my own thoughts, but yesterday I found out that for the first time in history this prophecy is coming to past…IN OUR LIFETIME. It is amazing… I this article off the internet. I encourage you to Google “The Nile River Drying Up” and look at the images of Isaiah’s prophecy coming to pass. The ancients probably could never imagine the mighty Nile River drying up.

    NILE RIVER – A SIGN

Reading the Bible is like reading tomorrow’s newspaper today. The news is rapidly catching up with the Bible. As we approach the return of Jesus Christ, we will see more and more events on our evening news that are a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. The Bible clearly predicts that at the same time Jesus would come at His Second Coming, the mighty river Nile would dry up. Prophecies, like this one, made 2,700 years ago are coming to pass before our very eyes.

Time Magazine reports that the water level in the reservoir above Aswan, known as Lake Nasser will have dropped 82 ft. (equivalent to an eight story building) by mid-summer of 1988 slashing power output by 55%. The Nile River has been irrigating the deserts of Egypt since the dawn of history. Is there any reason for Egyptian farmers to believe that it will not do so forever? Yet, these statistics are real trouble for Egypt. Almost all of Egypt’s population lives on the three or four percent of Egypt’s desert that is watered by the Nile. The amount of usable water is now 20% of what it was ten years ago.

Time Magazine (March 28, 1988, p 79) reports, “Living virtually without rain in a country that is 97% desert, Egyptians depend upon the world’s longest river for irrigation, electric power, drinking water, and transportation. Now, after a decade of drought that has left parts of central Africa on the brink of starvation, the Nile is running perilously low. For the first time since the Aswan High Dam was finished in 1970, serious shortages of hydroelectric power threaten Egypt.”

Time Magazine (March 28, 1988, p 79) also reports, “irrigation water that once flooded more than 250,000 acres of rice fields, or 25% of Egypt’s production, has been cut off.” Time also states that if the water level dips much lower, Aswan’s powerful electric turbines must be shut down. Eighty percent of the Nile’s water originates in the Ethiopian high lands. If the prolonged drought, now in its seventh year, continues much longer, Egypt could be seriously affected.

Isaiah, the prophet, writing under God’s direction 2,700 years ago tells of these events as though it were written today. “And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river (Nile) shall be wasted and dried up (Isaiah 19:5).” “And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defense shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither (Isaiah 19:6).”

Ethiopia and Kenya far away are going to turn the rivers that feed the Nile in order to keep all the water they can for themselves, thus compounding the problems of Egypt. The Nile is 4,150 miles long so as you can see “turning the rivers far away” takes on real significance.

Fishing and agriculture will take great losses as described by Isaiah. “The paper reads by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and everything sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.” “The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish. (Isaiah 19:7-10).”

How do we know what Isaiah is talking about now? The answer is that Isaiah Chapter 19 is completely and entirely about the return of Jesus Christ at His Second Coming. Isaiah 19:1 talks of “His presence” which is without a doubt the return of Christ. “The burden of Egypt. Behold the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.”

  7. The first part of this chapter sounds like modern day – people fighting against people, destruction, desolation, seeking idols, charmers, familiar spirits. The world we currently live in is full of idols. Things that distract from giving our time, talent and treasure to the one true and living God. Peoples minds are a hundred miles from where it needs to be and they are caught up in the things of Egypt (type of the world)

In this chapter God had to send destruction and then when they turned their hearts towards God he healed them.

I pray we don’t have to be taken to the low places before we submit our will to the will of God, and surrender our everything to God. God has blessed us in so many ways, and has spoken great promises to come. We can’t get so caught up that we forget the God who it all revolves around.

  8. IN THAT DAY!!

In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt, and there will be a monument to the Lord at its border. It will be a sign and a witness that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies is worshiped in the land of Egypt. When the people cry to the Lord for help against those who oppress them, he will send them a savior who will rescue them. The Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians. Yes, they will know the Lord and will give their sacrifices and offerings to him. They will make a vow to the Lord and will keep it. (Isaiah 19:19-21 NLT)

They will know that there is truly ONE GOD. A God that can destroy, that can heal, a God of Mercy, a God that is alive.
The Lord will grab ahold of our attention, and we will come to Him and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. I’m thankful that I can worship Him in Spirit and In truth NOW!!!

  9. 22 The Lord will strike Egypt with a plague; he will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the Lord, and he will respond to their pleas and heal them. NLT

    God is so merciful, hallelujah

  10. SO “WHY” DO YOU WANT TO BACKSLIDE

22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

In the scriptures, Egypt of the Old Testament is a type and shawdow of the carnal world of the New Testament. The appealing of the entertainment, lifestyle and liberties is nothing less than a snare of the devil to deceive weak believers into a lifestyle that will become a form of control, through the bondage of slavery and addiction. Sin and bondage are attractive because of deception. We have a choice to make.

    Consider:
    Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

The summary of this chapter is that regardless if you choose to live for GOD and do HIS will or you choose to forsake GOD and do your will; in the end you will be made to WORSHIP the LORD GOD of ISRAEL (JESUS). Choice or Command. I Choose to serve the LORD rather than be made to worship the LORD. Which as we have read here will be the end of Egypt/Carnality, Sin, The World.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Stay in the Church, remain with JESUS, continue in Submission and committed to purpose of the Kingdom of GOD; REACHING the lost, backsliders and sinners that do not know of the great name of JESUS.

  11. 5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

    Living Water

Through our studies, we have learned that when The Word talks of waters often it is referring to the Holy Ghost, or the anointing someone might have because of the way they allow the Holy Ghost to flow through them. We also know that His word says that a bruised reed He will not crush, letting us know that the word “reed” is referring to lives, or souls.

Here we see that “waters” or “anointing” will be wasted, and that people will use their anointing for ill gotten gain, and their spirits will suffer.

Jude 1:14-15 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

In order to live victorious lives, we must stay submitted to God, and His word, to the man of God in our lives, and to those in authority over us, or we sin. When we sin, we allow ourselves to be deceived, and shut off the flow of the rivers of living waters in our lives.

  12. The Lord will strike Egypt, and then he will bring healing. For the Egyptians will turn to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas and heal them. (Isaiah 19:22 NLT)

When you turn from God, and disobey you leave Him no other choice then to smite you.

He will bring you down ONLY for you to allow Him to bring you back up.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; KJV

The scripture states that He will bring you back up, but only after He tears you flesh/pride down. He won’t allow you up so you can boast and not give the glory to God.

We as the church when we see our brothers and sisters fall, don’t stand by and judge them, or mock them.

James 4:11-12 Don’t speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you. God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? MSG

We are to minister to them, pray and love them. This is the way we unite and take back all what the devil stole!!

Lets take it all back NOW!

  13. Isaiah 19 illustrates both God coming judgement ( v 1-15) and his salvation. (v16-23). It’s not a great big secret that he is coming back. The bible predicted yesterdays events over 2000 years ago. Those who still sit on the fence wondering if there is “really is a God” are freely giving their souls to the devil and buying them a one way ticket to hell. My life was bought with a price and God views me as highly valuable, so giving my soul to the devil isn’t a option–and HONESTLY–JUST PLAIN STUPID. He’s coming and I’m making sure that I’m ready.

  14. Vs. 22, “And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.”

This scripture made me think of how the Lord has to chastise us sometimes. Egypt is a type of the world (sin), and sometimes God has to chastise us to get the worldliness (sin) out of us. Then he can heal us.

Prov. 3:11-12 says, “My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”

Hebrews 12:5-11, “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then ye are bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence; shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verly for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous; nevertheless afterward it yeildeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are excersised thereby.”

When we sin, we should never despise the correction of the Lord. He does it because he loves us, and we are his children. When the sin is gone, then our hearts can yeild the peaceable fruits of righteousness. (Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance)

  15. Although, in this scripture was the judgement of God apparent, but he also gave hope with mercy. He provided away out, and a saviour, and delivered them. The Lord gave them a chance to return, they cried out to him, and he restored them, and healed them.

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lordof hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lordbecause of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

  16. What causes pain? Our disobedience and our sins. We were all destined to eternal death in hell, but JESUS demonstrated grace and love and took our place.
There’s smiting then GOD’ S merciful healing touch. Every bit of pain we ever endure first passed through the
FATHER’S CUP. HE IS TOUCHED with the feeling of our infirmities .
GOD KNOWS, HE CARES, and FEELS.

  17. HALELLUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
    YES!!!
24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
JUST AS ISRAEL SHINES IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL, BECAUSE JESUS LIVES IN US AND BECAUSE ISRAEL IS , WE ALSO SHOULD SHINE AND BE A BLESSING IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL!!! HALELUJAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

  18. 21 The Lord will make himself known to the Egyptians. Yes, they will know the Lord and will give their sacrifices and offerings to him. They will make a vow to the Lord and will keep it.
22 The Lord will strike Egypt, and then he will bring healing. For the Egyptians will turn to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas and heal them. (NLT)

Thank you Jesus for your mercy!!

  19. 22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

Thank God that while he may send judgement, he still has an outstretched hand to heal & save. Without his love, mercy and grace we could not be saved. But he has a plan and it’s not his will that any perish, but that all should come to repentance. Give us Lord a repentant heart especially through the hard trials of judgement.

  20. This chapter illustrates imminent. The future of those that turn away from God (Jesus) was foretold. It is only a question of when, for one that turns away from God, albeit it is also the same for one that returns to God; “Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  21. 1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

Egypt is a type of the world. When Jesus shows up the false gods disappear. When Jesus shows up their heart melts. The egyptians of this world need Jesus. We must create the atmosphere for the chains of this world to be loosed!

Let God arise, and his enemies be scattered!

  22. 11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

12 Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will thwart the cleverness of the intelligent.” -1 Corinthians 1:19

Where is the wise man? Where is the expert in the Mosaic law? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made the wisdom of the world foolish? -1 Corinthians 1:20

  23. 22 And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

This chapter made me think of the end times that we are living on. Just as described here about Egypt, which in essence represents a type of the world…it is pretty much our world today; but in the midst of this His love still abounds, His mercy still freely given, His grace still forgiving. The Lord loves so much that He will afflict with the purpose of restoring His people to Him. That made me think of backsliders. I’ve know some and remembered as they shared everything that is going wrong since they left God’s covering. I can only but see God’s hand heavy upon them that they may humble themselves and recognize that He is God. And all the Lord what’s to do is heal. That we may love Him/worship Him.

  24. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

The Lord will put your enemies against one another.

  25. Verse 1 MSG “A Message concerning Egypt:
Watch this! God riding on a fast-moving cloud,
    moving in on Egypt!
The god-idols of Egypt shudder and shake,
    Egyptians paralyzed by panic.”

Romans 14:10-12 MSG “So where does that leave you when you criticize a brother? And where does that leave you when you condescend to a sister? I’d say it leaves you looking pretty silly—or worse. Eventually, we’re all going to end up kneeling side by side in the place of judgment, facing God. Your critical and condescending ways aren’t going to improve your position there one bit. Read it for yourself in Scripture:
“As I live and breathe,” God says,
    “every knee will bow before me;
Every tongue will tell the honest truth
that I and only I am God.”
So tend to your knitting. You’ve got your hands full just taking care of your own life before God.”

  26. Isaiah 19:23
In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

    Isaiah 40:5
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

    Ephesians 3:6
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

    Acts 10:28
And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

    Acts 11:9
But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

    Acts 11:15-16
And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

The highway has now been built. So “Ride on King Jesus” He is the only way. Thank God he loves us all enough to make himself available to everyone of us.

  27. The Point Of Paper

7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

Paper seems somewhat insignificant, especially in this digital age. But back in the development of mankind, paper had a tremendous impact on civilization. Paper allowed for the recording of information, and greatly expanded the “corporate IQ” of society by allowing knowledge to become common as never before.

To illustrate, ask yourself how much you know about your great, great grandparents. There may not be much available through word of mouth of relatives, and what’s there may be of questionable accuracy, but what if you found an autobiography written about them? Information, carefully collected and recorded, is passed down irrespective of time. It was paper that revolutionized this ability to preserve knowledge.

Yet God speaks in this chapter of confounding the Egyptian knowledge base and overturning the perception of those esteemed wise.

We must ask ourselves, is there knowledge recorded in me that is not pleasing to God? What knowledge library do I have inside? Do I refuse to love because I have been hurt? Do I refuse to try because I’ve been disappointed? Do I refuse to believe because my hopes have been shattered?

These are just a few examples of common areas where false information gets recorded in us. After the recording process, we then live based on those “realities.” But what if what we hold real is actually false?

That’s when God must overturn the “knowledge and wisdom of Egypt” recorded in us. Our lives are read before the world, and what’s written inside will come out (for better or worse.) The thing about paper is that it’s a relatively cheap and easy means for recording information; so do we have a tendency to try to cheapen experiences to record them as carnality would desire. But God can do away with “cheap truth” and give us something worth living by:

    2 Corinthians 3:2-3
2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

    Psalms 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee.

    Matthew 12:33-35
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

    2 Corinthians 3:3
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

    James 3:11-18
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Let not mercy and kindness [shutting out all hatred and selfishness] and truth [shutting out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood] forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them upon the tablet of your heart. So shall you find favor, good understanding, and high esteem in the sight [or judgment] of God and man. Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. It shall be health to your nerves and sinews, and marrow and moistening to your bones. (Proverbs 3:3-8 AMP)

    Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Life is hard and pain is an effective instructor but we must not let pain write lies within us. The point of paper is to record; our hearts are designed to be paper for God’s pen of love, that truth would fill and adorn our hearts. When we are filled with falsehoods, the knowledge of Egypt must come down and be replaced by God’s love and truth. All the wisdom of carnality and the demonic can never compare to God’s wisdom that is “first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

Egypt must come down, Jesus’ truth and love must reign!

Jesus must take over in our hearts

  28. Send up Judah!
And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it. (Isaiah 19:17 KJV)
Wow, praise makes the nations that are full of the world, in all of its sickness, to be afraid. The world shakes and quakes and is scared when praise happens. Don’t stop praising the name of The Lord. To Jesus be all honor and Glory forever!
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalms 150:6 KJV)
Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalms 106:1 KJV)

  29. 24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

There is a blessing in the midst of the land. God is going to do it and all we have to do is believe and wait for him to make his move. When God is pouring out blessings we all want to be there, but I wonder how many will stay in his will before and after the blessing. God needs stable people who want just come to him for blessings or because the need something. People that will communicate with him on a daily basis through prayer and not afraid to declare who he is.

  30. Shuddering Egyptians

16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of theLord of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

Isaiah describes the Egyptians as women who “shudder with fear at the uplifted hand”. This depiction does necessarily describe a low view of women, but it does expose an awful truth. In this ancient culture women, without men to protect them, fell prey to abuse from conquering armies. When one nation topped another, there was great reason for women of the defeated nation to fear. They knew atrocities could lie ahead. In 2 Ki 8:12 soldiers would ” “You will set fire to their fortified places, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women.”

Likewise in this chapter, the Egyptians will shudder at the Lord’s wrath. These arrogant warriors probably take offense at this “shuddering” prophecy. Who would like being compared to defenseless females, or for that matter anyone who loses in battle? But if God moves in anger against a nation, the appropriate emotion is terror, and the correct action is repentance. After this terrible plauge, will come the Lord’s mercy, he will “respond to their pleas and heal them.” vs 25 says that “Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.” God has been accepting foreign converts way back… In Deut10:19 He said to love foreigners, because Israel was once a foreign nation in Egypt. God gives Egypt an ultimatum to either chose to continue living in the darkness of sin without Him, or change their ways to His ways. We were all foreigners to Jesus until we put down our Gentile ways and submitted to Him. God is blazing the trail in prophecy about the path to calvary, adopting children with His Holy Ghost, and making His enemies subject footstools to Him. God gives us a choice either you can rise, or you can fall.

  31. Idols are the main reason God is upset and wants to get rid of all that takes away from righteousness.

Lord take all distractions away that may hinder my walk with you.

  32. Surrender All

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lordof hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lordbecause of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

Why would you stand and fight against the one who is reaching out to save you? Surrender NOW.
God wants us to know Him but I need Him to know me.

    isurrender NOW

  33. 2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

Just in case you missed it

This passage relates to today. All the rioting in Egypt and the calamity with the water will set the stage for the anti-Christ to take the reigns.

It will be a day of gloom for all.
