Isaiah 56

1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, TheLord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

  1. 1.Thus saith the Lord, keep ye judgment,and do justice: for my salvation is near to come,and my righteoussness to be revealed.

  2. YOLO!!!!

    9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

    Be careful with this new saying YOLO = you only live once, it is misleading and will take you straight to hell. Because of this YOLO, people no longer care about others they only care about themselves, how I will feel, what make me feel good, and how can I make it better for me; no matter who I step on. Don’t be so blind not to see or so lazy not to do what is right.

    SALVATION TO ALL NATIONS

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    He opens salvation for the taking, all you have to do is respect the Sabbath, follow His commandments, and have His Name applied to your life. His Name is JESUS!!!!!

  3. 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

    JOY IN HIS PRESENCE

    I like this, even the stranger if he will join himself to the Lord. Serve the Lord and love the name of the Lord. This is strong teaching, we should strive to be his servants!

    If we are the servants we should have JOY. There is nothing greater than the JOY of the Lord which we should have if we carry the right sacrifice to the altar at the House of the Lord. The house of God shall be called a house of prayer for all people.

    These scriptures lets us know that everything God has is for everybody, not just the nation of Israeli. God will gather the outcast from Israeli, even they can come to the House of God.

    The part I like so much is they can have JOY with God. Nothing can replace the JOY of the Lord!!! If we are trying to live for God without JOY we are in trouble. Because the word teaches us with JOY will you draw water out of the wells of salvation. We will never get all we need without JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

    I am humbled that He has given me His name, the only name that will last forever, and honored to be counted among the people of the name: Jesus!

  5. 1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

    The Lord will come when it’s His time. I know I will do my best to be right in God. Thankful for the chances He has given me. Praise be to God!

  6. Isaiah 56

    1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

    May God guide our hearts, our mind and spirit. Jesus is our salvation.. May his righteousness be revealed to us.

  7. That His House will be Filled.

    “I will also bless the foreigners who commit themselves to the Lord, who serve him and love his name, who worship him and do not desecrate the Sabbath day of rest, and who hold fast to my covenant. I will bring them to my holy mountain of Jerusalem and will fill them with joy in my house of prayer. I will accept their burnt offerings and sacrifices, because my Temple will be called a house of prayer for all nations. For the Sovereign Lord, who brings back the outcasts of Israel, says: I will bring others, too, besides my people Israel.” (Isaiah 56:6-8 NLT)
    What a merciful God!!!
    That He drew us (me) to himself. His love and mercy reached out to me. The Lord desires for his house to be filled.
    And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. (Luke 14:23 KJV)
    I truly believe that the only way His house will be filled is by 1. Prayer- prayer draws you to a place of repentance, and brings you closer to The Lord. 2. Vision- one must see the importance of souls. It’s The Lord’s desire to save that which is lost, it should also be our desire as well. 3. Outreach – if we don’t reach for them, then who will?
    My heartbeat …… SOULS/A.L.M.A.S
    Today is the day of Salvation! Going into the city passing out fliers, knocking on doors, telling the people about salvation, and signing up the children.
    Thankful 💜

  8. What can I offer God?

    All these I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples. (Isaiah 56:7 AMP)

    Our bodies are now the Temple of God. We sacrifice yourselves through living a holy life and seeking His kingdom first. This is our spiritual worship and reasonable services.
    Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 NLT)

    I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. (Romans 12:1, 2 AMP)

  9. Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, TheLord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

  10. iLove to eat the Word

    “Selfish”

    His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
    11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

    Wow, preach it Isaiah the prophet! I think these scriptures speak to us all. Its time to step up and take responsibility for those God has entrusted us to.

    God doesn’t approve of idleness and over and over again tells us to wake up.

    The devil invented the snooze button. Break it and put it under your feet. Get involved in ministry and let’s do our job!

  11. .-3 neither say the son of the stranger that hath join himself to the LORD , speak saying : The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: breather let the eunoch say, Behold I am a dry tree.
    ———-
    PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!
    God is LOVE and does not make differences between people, JESUS die for EVERY SINGLE soul on this earth. And we are nobody to say: you are welcome, you are not, you fit the sit, you don’t, you are groing, you are not.
    We need to GOD, obey him at all times and let God be GOD.
    He is the judge. Yes we ought to judge but according to his words and not acording to our standards.
    —-
    GOD has a plan for everybody, and his will, shall be done.
    Thank you Abba! In JESUS name
    Now one thing I now, let us know that sin separates us from the LORD but if there is pure, truly repentance GOD will forgive……

  12. The Lord is not willing for anyone to perish. In the parable of the supper the King called the servants to invite guest to the festivities and those invited were too busy, too distracted, and too preoccupied to attend the feast. So the King sent the laborers back into the highways and by ways to compel people to the feast. The same is with this chapter. The Lord is no respecter of persons. Anyone, doesn’t matter race, creed, color, nationality, if they have a willing heart, a love for the Lord, and keep His commandments, they too will find a place in the Kingdom of God.

    There will be many at the last hour that comes to the Kingdom, and many will receive the reward, just like those that have laborered for many years. We cannot judge them for arriving at the eleventh hour, but work in the harvest with them. It’s all for the Kingdom of GOD!!!

  13. The lord god, which gathereth the outcasts of israel saith, yet will i gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

  14. Isaiah 56:6
    Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

  15. 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

    Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

  16. V4-5

    Eunuchs were slaves that had their ability to reproduce removed. Today’s eunuchs are slaves to sin and unproductive spiritually. Gods grace extends to them as well. Everyone we meet is a soul that Jesus died for. Lets share the gospel not for their souls sake. Lets share it for Christs sake. They deserve to know that he loves them.

  17. 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

    6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

  18. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
    6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; 7Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. 8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
    THANK YOU JESUS FOR ACCEPTING ME. I AM SO UNWORTHY OF BEING A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD!!!
    I THANK YOU JESUS!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! TE AMO PAPA!!!

  19. Verse 8 MSG “The Decree of the Master, God himself, who gathers in the exiles of Israel: “I will gather others also, gather them in with those already gathered.”” “There is room in the house of God for everybody” is what my Pastor in Kansas would always say and it is so true, this verse confirms it.

  20. JOY IN THE HOUSE

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    The fleeting element of JOY in the church we find the reason for it’s a escape or leak here in verse 7. The LACK of Prayer is the lack of JOY in the church today. Prayer is relationship with GOD or the source and father of all things including our FAITH. Without FAITH it is impossible to please GOD.

    Prayer produces an atmosphere of FAITH and FAITH is FRUIT and FRUIT is JOY.

    Let us commit today to a Revival of Prayer in the House of Prayer and we WILL uncover, discover and rediscover JOY in the House of PRAYER.

  21. 1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
    Keep Gods commandments…
    Jesus told his people “if you love me keep my commandments… Solomon said “fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man”… It is important for us to keep the commandments of God and his judgments for out of it come blessings and favor.

  22. This chapter illustrates open. The door of salvation is open to all; “The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him”. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  23. 5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

    I am so thankful to have the name Jesus Christ stamped on me. No other name greater that Jesus.

  24. 8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

    The Lord will gather souls unto himself! Not only are we to labor for the kingdom but God will also bring people to be saved. He sees those searching and trying to find him & knows how to bring them to a place to hear the apostolic message. Praise God! Get ready POFW- God is sending the harvest.

  25. True separation

    3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

    4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

    5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

    there were 3 types of eunuchs in the bible…
    unable, unwilling, and mutilated

    the unable were born unable to reproduce

    the unwilling were those who entered into a covenant to withstand from the act (among may other things) to keep their focus on God

    the mutilated were those who went to surgery to make sure that they would stay true to their covenant

    In all 3 cases we see a true commitment to God but in the the case of the mutilated one there was some true separation

    it took a man totally committed to take his life and commit it to the point of destroying his chance of a wife or family forever that he may be closer to God.

    In this the separation to the service of God promoted these that were called to this ministry rapidly. These men could go anywhere but into the mercy seat. they had full access to the things of God. These men knew separation and holiness better than anyone else.

    In holiness or separation from the world we are able to gain the same magnitude of blessing. The cutting away of flesh as to the joys of this world, or anything that would satisfy your body as sin becomes a testimony to those around you and a testament to God.

    In holiness we are called closer and closer to the throne of God.
    Most of the attributes of true separation look like lunacy to this world but our reward is in heaven. Being truly separated to him will hurt at first but the relationship with God through it will change our lives.

    iGive

  26. 1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

    2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

  27. 7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    I am amazed at those who discount church. I have heard people tell me that they can read the bible, pray, and worship at home, and still feel God. Personal devotion has its place, but when we come to the house of prayer we can worship God in spirit, and in truth together.

    His word tells us that where two or three are gathered together in my name there will I be in the midst of them.

    What an amazing opportunity we have when we gather together in his house!

  28. Isaiah 56

    1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

    Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? -Isaiah 53:1
    In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. -Jeremiah 33:15

    Our righteousness is not found in ourselves, but it is found only in him. The God who has become our salvation.

    But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. -Malachi 4:2

  29. Always left behind

    8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

    There was a famous book series that was out a few years ago with a title similar to this one, but not really. This time instead of the catching away I’m thinking about being left out. Rejects, outcasts, and people who are abandoned all probably feel like outcasts.
    Outcast means:
    1. a person who has been rejected by society or a social group.
    synonyms: pariah, persona non grata, reject, outsider, leper; More

    God gathers the outcast together so they can bring their mind bake to where they came from.

  30. 9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
    10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

    Blind Watxhmen

    As we grow, we become responsible for more than just the person that we aspire to be, but we also grow responsible for the person that we help others to become. We cannot afford to be a blind watchman. If we are to be a watchman for someone, we cannot be blind or ignorant. We must study to show ourselves approves. We must be willing to work.
    As we prepare for the harvest that is coming, we must seek more than our own gratification, we must seek to glorify the Lord! We must keep pastor’s vision for this region, and not allow ourselves to loose sight of it, becoming spiritually blind…

  31. 1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

    We should never forget! He’s coming back, what will we be doing when that day happens??

  32. Heart Of Worship

    6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    Proverbs 4:20-23
    20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

    God is seeking a sincere heart of worship. Our heart leads us in life, and if we have a heart of worship, we will follow a path that seeks God. God knocks at our hearts, but it’s up to us to make room and let Him in to have a heart of worship.

    Revelation 3:20
    Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

  33. If it looks like a skunk, and smells like a skunk, than it’s a skunk. The easiest way to know if someone is true, is if they are speaking the same thing as your Pastor. in vs’.3 “Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, TheLord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
    4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;” The stranger sounds like the man of God , but is that who God placed in your life? Growing up in church ,I had the unfortunate opprotunity to see sheep stolen from the flock due to “GOD CALLED ME here to tell you that you need to FOLLOW ME, and you need to leave here.” This is sad. My prayer is that we would know the shepherd’s voice. THe only way you don’t know it is that you don’t listen to it in the first place!

  34. 6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

    7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

    I thank the Lord that He is not a respector of persons, that he extends salvation to all human race that He will give me of His joy and accept my sacrifice.

    Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  35. House of Prayer

    Isaiah in this chapter gives consolation to two groups of people formerly excluded from worship. Foreigners (Ex 12:43) and eunuchs (Dt 23:1) were forbidden to join the people when they assemble to worship. However, in this chapter, their position of exclusion is now changed to one of inclusion. To eunuchs (vs4) and foreigners (vs6) who obey God’s laws and follow him contritely and wholeheartedly, God promises joy and acceptance (Isa 56: 7). The “holy mountain” (vs7) refers to Mount Zion, the location of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem. In the last days God’s house won’t shelter just the Jews, but it will be a place for people from all nations (Isa 2:2-4). Today our places of worship can also be houses of prayer for people of all mationalities, races and needs. Together we look forward to the day when worshipers of all races, languages and nationalities will gather to worship the Lamb of heaven (Rev 7:9).

  36. A House of Prayer

    Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. Isaiah 56:7

    Although this verse refers to Your temple, it also applies to our own houses, which should serve as house of prayer for our family and friends. A few minutes after entering a house, the spirit of the house becomes obvious. Some are filled with strife and conflict. Others are peaceful but feel empty, totally secular. The Christian’s house may be quite or noisy , but the Holy Spirit’s presence will be obvious, Lord, I want my house to be Your house. The dinner may burn , the children may be out of control , but in the midst of it all, our house can be a house of prayer, a place of comfort and peace, a refuge to those in need. Help me make our home a blessing for all who pass through it’s door.
