Jeremiah 10

1 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

15 They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

16 The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The Lord of hosts is his name.

17 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

18 For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

19 Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous; but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.

20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

22 Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

24 O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

25 Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

  1. 12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

    WHAT A GOD

As I read this I thought of how these people are falling so far from God, I want to find something positive for me in these scriptures.
What do you know creation The God that can speak and a multitude of waters in the heavens. He establishes the world by his wisdom, God impart to me some of your wisdom.
We serve The God that can do all things, such great power he has. He has the ability to release the prison doors to set his people free. We need to read and learn from his greatness, his power, and his ability to save to the utter most.
WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!!!!!

  2. There’s no other GOD, but Jesus!!! Listen to the Message that God is sending your way, House of Israel. Listen most carefully: “Don’t take the godless nations as your models. Don’t be impressed by their glamour and glitz, no matter how much they’re impressed. The religion of these peoples is nothing but smoke. An idol is nothing but a tree chopped down, then shaped by a woodsman’s ax. They trim it with tinsel and balls, use hammer and nails to keep it upright. It’s like a scarecrow in a cabbage patch—can’t talk! Dead wood that has to be carried—can’t walk! Don’t be impressed by such stuff. It’s useless for either good or evil.” All this is nothing compared to you, O God. You’re wondrously great, famously great. Who can fail to be impressed by you, King of the nations? It’s your very nature to be worshiped! Look far and wide among the elite of the nations. The best they can come up with is nothing compared to you. Stupidly, they line them up—a lineup of sticks, good for nothing but making smoke. Gilded with silver foil from Tarshish, covered with gold from Uphaz, Hung with violet and purple fabrics— no matter how fancy the sticks, they’re still sticks. (Jeremiah 10:1-9 MSG)
    I serve a living GOD!!!!

  3. 2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck…it must be a duck.

If we dress (look) like the heathen, talk (sound) like the heathen and act (walk) like the heathen…

To be a light to this world and be able to lead them to Truth, they must see a difference in us. If they think we are one of them, why would they think we could help them?

    2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you,

  4. Eviction Notice

17 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

18 For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

God is in our side. He proceeding us into this new territory that we are about to move into, and he is serving notice on all that are against him.

    Romans 8
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

    We Will take this City!

  5. God, Great God

10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

There is only one God. He created all. Anything that we put in a place of power in our lives HE created. He made us and all that we have. He made our families. He gave us our tallants and our jobs. It is by him that we are able to live and move and work. We MUST keep Him in the first place in our lives.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4 KJV)

  6. 14
Every man is brutish in his knowledge:
every founder is confounded by the
graven image: for his molten image is
falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

    15
They are vanity, and the work of errors:
in the time of their visitation they shall
    perish.

    16
The portion of Jacob is not like them:
for he is the former of all things; and
Israel is the rod of his inheritance:
The Lord of hosts is his name.

What an awesome God we serve.

  7. 14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

My lesson for Wednesday was about creation. And God breathed into man life. When we get the Holy Ghost ,it is a type of God breathing into us as we receive His spirit. When man “creates” there is no life. That is why it is called artificial intelligence. It’s not real. God is real and he is the giver of life.

  8. A religion made of stick, lights, and smoke.

1 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Look around and what do you see, churches full of idols, vanity, and they got everyone convinced with their bling blings, sparkles, and wows. In Spanish there is a saying “aun que la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda”. You can dress a monkey with silk and it still a monkey. You can dress your idols, have all this bling bling at your church but if there is no truth in it; it is just a pile of sticks.
Do not be deceived by their looks; look for the truth, for if there is no truth, Our Lord Jesus Christ is not in them. In this time and age we must keep our eyes and ears open, be watchful for they will try to detour you from the truth. Giving thanks for a Pastor that leads a church where the foundation is Jesus Christ and His Truth.

  9. 13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

If God can do all of this to prove who He was, why can’t He move your mountain?! Calm your storm?! Give you peace?! All in the snap of His fingers your world could be turned upside down! I give you glory Jesus!

Whoo! Early morning praise, and beating the devil I love it!!

  10. Those who put their trust in a chunk of wood, even though it is carved well and clothed beautifully, are foolish. The simplest person who worships God is wiser than the wisest person who worships a worthless substitute, because this simple person has discerned who God really is.

  11. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

  12. HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!! HALELUJAH!!!
21 For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
THANK GOD FOR OUR PASTOR AND FIRST LADY!!! I know many Pastors and many First Ladies and they do not come even remotely close to our Pastor and First Lady!!! IF IT WEREN’T FOR THE FEAR OF THE LORD, SUBMISSION AND REVERENCE THAT THEY HAVE UNTO GOD………. WE WOULD ALLLL BE SCATTERED!!! HALELUJAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! HALELUJAH!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU DADDY!!! JESUS YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

  13. 12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

There’s No God Like My God!!

  14. Everything that is carved out of wood or stone and made by man’s hand is nothing but an idol. It can’t do good or evil. There is no life in it. Yet, so many around the world today, worship these false gods. My question is WHY???

Vs.6 says, “Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.”
Vs.10a. says, “But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting God…”

I’m so Thankful that I know and serve the One True Living God, and his name is JESUS. He has all power and authority. He is my everthing, and when I need something, I know he hears me and can answer my prayer. He has put a song in my heart today. “There’s No God Like Our God.”
    ———————————————————————————-

Also I just want to say something about verse 21. “For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.”

The reason why POFW has found favor with God and has prospered and the flock is growing is because we have a Pastor and wife who seek God. They have a Vision and a Burden for the city of Fort Worth and for this church family. Keep Pastor and Sis. Watts uplifted in prayer that God would continue to strengthen them and guide and lead them as they lead us into greater things in Him.

  15. Woe is me because of my hurt! [says Jeremiah, speaking for the nation.] My wound is grievous and incurable. But I said, Surely this sickness and suffering and grief are mine, and I must endure, tolerate, and bear them. My tent (home) is taken by force and plundered, and all my [tent] cords are broken. My children have gone forth [as captives] from me, and they are no more; there is no one to stretch forth my tent any more and to set up my [tent] curtains. For the shepherds [of the people] have become like brutes, irrational and stupid, and have not sought the Lord or inquired of Him or required Him [by necessity and by right of His word]. Therefore they have not dealt prudently and have not prospered, and all their flocks are scattered. (Jeremiah 10:19-21 AMP)

I’m so thankful for a wise shepherd who seeks the Lord, inquires of the Lord and knows the Lord. Reflecting on Jeremiah’s life his leadership effected his whole life. His home was lost and his children. There was no one left to help him stretch his tent. I’m thankful for the challenge that has caused me to stretch but also have been given the tools and support to accomplish the goal.

  16. Impacting our Future Together – Who’s IN

20 My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

Our theme scripture for “Impacting our Future Together” is (Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;) as I pondered this chapter all that came to my mind is that the LORD is counting on The POFW to come together in UNITY and STRETCH his TENT and set up HIS curtains. A PLACE for HIM.

It is our season, we will work, we will give, we will gather, we will rejoice all together for the name of JESUS to be glorified. When I read of the anguish of the LORD over HIS PLACE of worship. My heart grieved.

I pray GOD give me wisdom and help me to ALWAYS seek the LORD, that we may find HIS favor on The POFW.

  17. 6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

The comparison in this chapter of the One, True and Living God compared to idols that Jerusalem had created to worship brought sadness and hurt to God. How often we forget what the Lord has done for us. He had delivered his people out of Egypt, brought them to the promised land that flowed with milk and honey. Then they forsook Him and did what was right in their own eyes, including worshipping idol Gods.

It challenges me to look into my heart and tear down anything that might appear to be a idol so that I don’t bring sadness to my Creator, the King of Kings and Lord or Lords who sacrificed His life that I might live life more abundantly.

There is No God Like My God!

  18. 12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

What a mighty God we serve!

  19. O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in

    23

himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in

    24

thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
    direct my paths…
here we see the writer asking God to direct and lead his paths. we need God to lead us and to give us directions for future. you must also be willing to accept correction from God and from the leaders got put in our lives because that’s what makes us strong apostolic leaders.

  20. The end of verses 1-5 MSG reads “….Don’t be impressed by such stuff. It’s useless for either good or evil.” This speaks of idols that to the human eye look enticing, inviting and almost hopeful; but, if you are able to see it through spriritual eyes, you will see its only a pile of rubble. Don’t be deceived by following the glitz and glam of this world, follow the Creator of the world!

The beginning of verse 10 MSG says “But God is the real thing—the living God, the eternal King……” It is almost hard to imagine, as to why someone would want to follow an imitation, a fake, a fraud or even dead wood; but, unfortunately they have just not been introduced to the Author, the Creator, the one “real thing”…..JESUS.

    “Doctrine of Vanities”

(Jeremiah 10:8 KJV) But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

    Vanity
    H1892
    הבל הבל
    hebel hăbêl
    heh’-bel, hab-ale’
From H1891; emptiness or vanity; figuratively something transitory and unsatisfactory; often used as an adverb: – X altogether, vain, vanity.

The “Chosen Frozen” preach that the Receiving of the Holy Ghost left when the Apostles died. Their doctrine is vain and empty.

Let’s catch on fire and be filled with the Holy Ghost and put the vain things behind us.

  22. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Its hard to imagine their fear of a god made of a tree & designed over the top with metals, but with the absence of the one true God, the enemy can slip in substitutes. In this day & time satan is having a field day with all the substitutes for God! Sports, video games, TV and the list goes on. I am thankful that He brought me out! Now the life I live has true meaning & purpose.

  23. Jeremiah 10:23-25 oh Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walked in to direct his steps.
oh Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know there not, And upon the families that call not on thy name: For they have eaten up Jacob , and devoured him, and consumed him, And have made his habitation desolate.

On the people’s behalf , the prophet prays for divine justice.

Only the Lord can direct people’s steps ( Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: And he delighteth in his way.

  24. 10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

  25. This chapter illustrates justice. The true God (Jesus) was compared to the false; “But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens”. As it was then so shall it be soon, the true God (Jesus) will serve justice. What a mighty God we serve! May the good Lord Bless you all in Jesus name, Amen

  26. 6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

God is great and greatly to be praised. We must remember there is none like our God. The enemy may try to get you to believe that he is equal to the power of God, but the truth from will reveal itself. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

  27. 24 O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: -2 Timothy 3:16

Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die. -Proverbs 15:10

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. -Hebrews 12:6
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? -Hebrews 12:7

The correction of The Lord is a direct result of his love towards us. I have been correct many times and trust that it is because he loves me that he corrects me.

  28. *studying took me past midnight * 🙂

    Jeremiah 10:14 (KJV 1900)
14Every man is brutish in his knowledge: Every founder is confounded by the graven image: For his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them

The word founder here means refiner, and the word confounded means paralyzed, withered, and wasted away.

Those who create idols are eroded at little by little each day. The winds of time remove victory, and a conquering mentality. Soon the subject becomes numb to the whispering of the Spirit, and begins to take on a new form.

    Psalm 115:4–8 (ESV)

4  Their idols are silver and gold,
    the work of human hands.
    5  They have mouths, but do not speak;
    eyes, but do not see.
    6  They have ears, but do not hear;
    noses, but do not smell.
    7  They have hands, but do not feel;
    feet, but do not walk;
and they do not make a sound in their throat.
    8  Those who make them become like them;
so do all who trust in them.

Now the idol worshipper walks like, talks like, and acts like their admiration.

The lesson: Be careful what you allow yourself to take part in. Eventually this will manifest itself through your actions, word, and attitude. There is no way to hide who we really are. One day everything will be revealed.

    1 Corinthians 4:5 (KJV 1900)
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

  29. Friday the 13th

2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

It seems fitting for this chapter to come today, on Friday the 13th. There’s a superstitious mentality that the carnal mind has a propensity for. A few examples of some bizarre superstitions:

        1) A loaf of bread should never be turned upside down after a slice has been cut from it.

        2) An acorn at the window will keep lightning out.

        3) If a mirror in the house falls and breaks by itself, someone in the house will die soon.

We can easily peg these as ridiculous, yet the carnal mind works in many subtle ways to bring about “superstitions” that are less easily identified as such. Many originate from the negative, things that cause us pain. We are wired to avoid pain, and so we try to figure out how to proactively avoid pain. This proactive avoidance mentality causes us at times to make false associations between pain and independent coinciding factors. Here is a common one: “I don’t want to get close to anyone because everyone I get close to leaves.” It may be true that there is a trend for a particular individual concerning the loss of close relationships, but that does not mean the problem is in having close relationships.

There are many of us who live in prisons of our own design because we have processed painful events through a carnal lens and created our own personal set of superstitions to try to avoid pain in the future. Yet instead of avoiding pain, we end up living in it continually:

    1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

We must instead have a renewing of our minds:

    Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    2 Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

    Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

No matter how we’ve been hurt before, we can have liberty from the prisons of superstition that would take hold of our mind. The Truth of God can shine through the darkness and by His blood and stripes, we can be loosed from every veil of deception.

    John 11:43-44
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Even after we’ve found Jesus we can still be bound by old “graveclothes” of superstitions. But Jesus came to set us free; we don’t have to remain in the prisons of the world’s standards. The world has many opinions and a lot of advice about how to manage pain but we can be freed from the falsehoods in that doctrine so we may receive the Word of Life.

    Psalms 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

  30. 1 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

I just saw those verses and the thought that jumped into my mind is my trust is in the Lord. A sign by definition is an object, quality, or event whose presence and occurrence indicates the probable presence or occurrence of something else. The word of God teaches me Faith, to trust in the Lord and not the things that I see.
    Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now I can honestly say that sometimes things in my life do not “seem” nice at all… The sign in the heavens may point to a total grey to dark outcome. But I must immediately bring the Light of His power changing Word to the dark in the sky that tries to smother and sofocate my life and my future. I trust not in what I see but on the vision the Lord has given me.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
If the enemy can get me to lose my vision then I will perish. He will attempt ti throw everything he can that can be distracted and “see” the closed doors, the bridge broken, the chains tight, the dark in the skies of the storms coming… But I must hearken with my heart to the voice of the Lord and call upon the name close my eyes and see the vision, see the Lords Word which says that I am more than victorious, that greater is He that is within me, that at his voice the earth trembles!!
Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.
Blessed is the man whose trust is in the Lord..
MY TRUST IS IN THE LORD

  31. Measure of Worth

Foolish individuals measure worth by the work they produce or the material things they accumulate. Jeremiah says that even the ornate idol masterpieces a goldsmith crafts are a “fraud” (vs14) and “worthless” (vs 15). In contrast God, “The Portion of Jacob..is the Maker of all things” (vs16), including the people who preen about their artistry. In asociety that esteems performance and financial success, it’s a challenge not to seek significance in what we accomplish or acquire in this life. It’s not a sin to work hard and be rewarded for good work, but its more important to remember “we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Eph 2:10). Our worth rests in who we belong to, not what we do.

  32. vs 21 Pastors must seek the Lord or they will not prosper and their sheep will be scattered. Praise God for a Pastor that seeks the Lord and the blessings upon this church are the proof.
