Psalm 24
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

The Lord of glory. Strong and mighty. In command. In charge. When we allow the king of glory in our lives and situations we put our shortcomings, setbacks, and limitations on the sidelines and let God bring out His play book. We have to first trust God knows what is best and that He really is mighty in battle before we will let Him fight them for us.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Seek him, The generation that seeks God is a wise generation, Wise men seek Jesus. God please let us be wise enough to seek you, all our answers come from God.
We should always seek God in all situations. God has the solution to all problems.
It takes faith to wait on the Lord to send the answer, God give us the faith to receive your blessings into our lives.
Psalms 24:4
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;
who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity,
nor sworn deceitfully.
Clean – naw- kee«; from 5352; innocent:— blameless, clean, clear, exempted, free, guiltless, innocent, quit.
Pure – pure, empty:— choice, clean, clear, pure.
Actions of innocence and hearts pure and empty.
These are the first two prerequisites for a mountain top experience with God!
We must do as Solomon said
Proverbs 4:23
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.
God cares tremendously about how we live and what we allow in our heart.

That’s the God I serve! He proves it with a perfect, no-loss record; why not trust Him?

A great example of the blessing of the Lord coming upon someone is the story of Obed-Edom. “When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzzah put out his hand to take hold of the ark, for the oxen stumbled. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark, and he died there before God. And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzza to this day. And David was afraid of God that day, and he said, “How can I bring the ark of God home to me?” So David did not take the ark home into the city of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. And the ark of God remained with the household of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that he had.” 1 Chronicles 13:9-14.

Don’t go around with your head hanging down, lift it up we have the VICTORY we are gonna make it. If we as christians walk around with our heads hanging down and people/co workers watching us how in the world would we expect them to even come to our church or have we have?
As Pastor said last night get up everyday saying “I AM VICTORIOUS”

His Name is JESUS!!!!! When the world fills with battles left and right, I call on JESUS, my GOD!!!!!! When I call upon His Name, every knee shall bow, every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is LORD!!!! MY LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE!!!!! demons cry out in fear and flee at the mention of HIS HOLY NAME JESUS!!!!

The bait and trick of satan is to cause believers to hang their head in shame over sin, whether existing unrepented sin or sins of the past repented and buried long ago. SHAME is satans GAME. As stated on Sunday Night it requires COURAGE to face your adversaries and more often than not, sin, whether past or present is our most dominant adversary. The reason satan uses shame and condemnation so frequently is that we struggle to lift our head when we are shamed over our actions. For this purpose, I repent often, at least, daily, often I repent several times a day, over negative thoughts that attempt to enter my mind of past sins or present challenges, that attempt to pull my head down to the ground.
Our head must be UP for the King of GLORY to come in.
The word gates in verses 7 and 9 means city, the LORD is speaking to a corporate people, a community, a church to walk in VICTORY through him.
The word doors in verses 7 and 9 means entrance or opening, the LORD is revealing to us that where our eyes are directed is where the resources come from.
Head down = DEFEAT
Head UP = VICTORY
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
The head is important because of the eye. The position of the eyes is so important. because of what is allowed to enter the mind through the eye.
Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

The qualifications to stand in the holy place with the Lord: Clean Hands (undefiled, not polluted with the activities of this world and flesh, Pure Heart (cleaned through repentance, and kept pure through daily dying out to our flesh and the attitudes of self, Hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity (not looking to the things of this world to satisfy ourselves, Not sworn deceitfully (keeping our relationship with God and people upright, keeping our commitments and our word verifying our integrity). All of these things will align themselves in our attitude and actions through daily seeking the wisdom and favor of the Lord through His word and prayer, crucifying our flesh and walking in the spirit.
Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalms 24:10 NKJV)

He’s the King of Everything!

Clean hands and pure heart. We must keep our hands clean by washing them ever chance that we get. If we think that we have offended anyone,ask them. I would rather ask someone if I had offended them,and not. Than to offend and not know it. A pure heart. What we see,hear,taste,touch,and even smell, goes through the true heart,the brain. So whatever we do goes through our hearts. Keeping it pure is hard in today’s society. Especially when profanity is ok and vaguerism is an everyday occurrence. Even through all that though,we must do our best to listen in a different direction and look the other way. Be encouraged for we are the generation that seeks after Gods face.

We are victorious because He has the victory! We must trust Him and let Him fight our battles. A few years back (when I still lived in Kansas) I was a Bible Quizzer, one of my opportunities was a chunk of chapters from the book of Exodus. To be honest, now I don’t remember half the stuff I memorized, but there is one verse that has stuck with me and that is Exodus 14:14—
“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
I will never forget this verse, and I’m glad it stuck in my mind because it has helped me get through some tough times, keep your peace and let The Lord fight for you.

Seeking The Lord
Psalm 24:7-10
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Proverbs 28:14 AMP
Blessed happy, fortunate, and to be envied is the man who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord at all times regardless of circumstances, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.
There is a connection between doing right and letting God have access to our hearts, as well as inversely a connection between falling to sin as a result of shutting God out. One commentary mentioned the latter half of Psalm 24 likely refers to the bringing in of the Ark of the Covenant to the temple and the practiced call and response between those bearing the Ark and the porters at the doors. I imagine a similar call and response on a heart level as the glory of God falls and He stands at the door of our hearts knocking.
It’s easy for us in our natural state to become frightened by that presence of God. The original Hebrew word for glory connects it figuratively with the meaning “weighty.” That weight can seem overwhelming if we don’t understand it. But I see the Word in our hearts reacting with the glory, answering back to us “the King is here!” We do well to guard our hearts but we also do well to know when to open them up; God desires communion with us and the weight of His glory should call to our hearts to be opened to meet Him.
Psalm 24:6
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Today’s Psalm opens with speaking of those seeking the Lord and enjoying the sort of ongoing communion with Him He desires. That word for “face” can be used to describe “presence.” Those seeking the Lord are those not simply reacting to His glory or presence when it comes but are actively engaged in finding it. Seeking the Lord comes in both an active “offense” to pursue Him and an active “defense” to respond when He does come knocking.
One of the first steps in seeking the Lord is checking on the state of our hearts. A hard heart will neither open to receive the Lord or open to allow us to pursue Him. Our hearts may become hard for a whole laundry list of reasons in life, but at the end of the day our answer is Jesus. He can heal the hardest of hearts and help us with whatever is hindering the free communion with Him He created us for.
But it starts with even the smallest spark of faith that will cling to His Word and let His Word speak to our hearts to let the Glory come in. Victory might start small but even the light of just a spark will overcome the darkest of nights. And as the fire builds, the darkness is pushed further and further back until our view is consumed by the light of God’s glory.
Hebrews 3:8-10, 18-19; 4:1-2
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

What else is there? Everything that was, is or ever will be is the Lord’s. What we have and/or do not have is the Lord’s. Understanding the fullness thereof is what it is all about.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
4 things to be blessed:
1) have clean hands
2) a pure heart
3) do not lift up your soul to vanity
4) do not swear deceitfully
Many times we fool ourselves thinking that we have been “good” and done as we should so we should be blessed, so why are we not so blessed? If our pride and vanity would take a back seat to our humility, we could see His blessings all around us. The sun, the stars, air, water, animals, plants, other living being, these are all His blessings that He has given to us… The real question is what are we going to do with what we have been given???

“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof”. Declaration of who the Creator (Jesus) is, was followed by adoration. One must first realize, and then one will understand, why God (Jesus) deserves all one’s praise. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless Jerusalem and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

I know that I am far from being who God has intended for me to be. But I can honestly say that it’s in my hearts desire to please and live in obedience to His word., to stand in His presence and Worship Him, The KING OF GLORY!!
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10 KJV)

The reason some are loosing all their battles is that they don’t know who he really is. He is victorious! If you are with him you always win. I am victorious
A Psalm of The King of Glory

Rev.19:13-16
And he was clothed with a vesture
dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14.And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses,clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron : and he treadeth the winepress of their fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written , KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

That’s true worship and its a privilege to worship GOD in the beauty of Holiness
and HIS abiding presence in our lives.
If we choose to embrace HIS presence and seek HIS RIGHTEOUNESS .

HE IS GOD ALMIGHTY and we need no other reason than HIS Majesty and Greatness to worship HIM.

Oh how I long for the day/night when all of PoFW glorifies The Lord together. His mighty presence will fall so strongly that we are all caught up in his cloud of his presence. We will be able to leave, walk or deviate from you presence.

I want to seek His face, and presences. Not just His hand, but to see the face of The Lord.
Jesus Christ is welcome in my house anytime, he is the King of Glory, and is the Lord of Host mighty in battle. I, need his strength and power in my life, that I might be as his word says “more than an conquerer”, and that “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Sometimes, we must wait upon him, and let him take over in the battle. I, can almost hear Jesus say, “I got this!”

Create in me a clean heart! Guard your heart! Protect it from the influences of this world and the opinions of others.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: -Hebrews 12:14

The generation that truly is seeking after Him will exhalt Him and be in position (head lifted up) to see Him come.
We must check our posture and see if we are “that generation?”
The prereqs for the blessing.

Holiness is a requirement for blessings. Righteousness from God is the product of believing God. We must believe God in order to be clean and righteous and to receive his blessings.
Gen 15:6, Rom 4:3, Gal 3:6
Vs 6 This generation must seek him or our nation is doomed.

“The more I seek You, the more I find You”
I thought if the lyrics from this song. Sonetimes we wonder where is the Lord? Or why us He so far from me when I need Him most? The Lord owns all things and created everything. He is everywhere. Why can’t we find Him at times? The question is how much are we searching? What measures are we really taking to reach his attention? To find Him? It’s all about pursuit. You search a little you’ll find a little. The Lord doesn’t hide but He reveals himself to those that have relationship. Think about a best friend, you know more things about him/her that any other person because you’ve become close. You sought after that relationship. You put others aside to spend quality time. You looked and defended the time to be together. So the same way is with The Lord. When was the last time that you turned off all the noise and went alone to be with Him in the word or in prayer? It requires action and work. God owns the world and all that dwell in it, and He has control over your situation and all things, but at the end if the day all He desires from us is relationship.
Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Our God made everything and we should understand if He made it all then He is all. God is amazing for all Hes done.
