Serve The Lord, this is what we do outside the doors of the church. When we are about the city, working or shopping taking care of everyday business. We should be good stewards or servants of our great God everyday of our lives. Representatives of God, ambassadors of Christ, we are what people see and think all of the church are like us.
After we have served him, we can come into his presence with thanksgiving and praise. Singing unto him, with a joyful noise, blessing his name.

  2. 5. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

    1 Chronicles 16:34 KJV
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

    Acts 2:39 KJV
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

I’m so thankful that His mercy doesn’t ‘run out’ and His truth and promises are still for us today!

  3. iLove to eat the Word

Psalms 100:2 KJV Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

To serve the Lord is to “work”

    Serve
    עבד
    ‛âbad
    aw-bad’
A primitive root; to work (in any sense); by implication to serve, till, (causatively) enslave, etc.: – X be, keep in bondage, be bondmen, bond-service, compel, do, dress, ear, execute, + husbandman, keep, labour (-ing man), bring to pass, (cause to, make to) serve (-ing, self), (be, become) servant (-s), do (use) service, till (-er), transgress [from margin], (set a) work, be wrought, worshipper.

  4. Testify By Joy!

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

What a testimony it would be to all those who come to the house of the Lord “just to see” if we were to all come in already walking in victory and rejoicing in the Lord. I am reminded of the Queen of Sheba who came to Solomon curious to see if the things she had heard were true. She was impressed not just by him and his material riches but by the state of his servants as well. It’s one thing to be a king with riches, it’s another to be a King who has the hearts of his people.

    1 Kings 10:1-8
1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions.

2 And she came to Jerusalem with a very great train, with camels that bare spices, and very much gold, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

3 And Solomon told her all her questions: there was not any thing hid from the king, which he told her not.

4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon’s wisdom, and the house that he had built,

5 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cupbearers, and his ascent by which he went up unto the house of the Lord; there was no more spirit in her.

6 And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom.

7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

8 Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.

When we come in to the house of the Lord with joy, we testify of Jesus to those who come as the Queen of Sheba. There are many who can boast of riches, but nobody but Jesus can testify of their house living lives with joy unspeakable and full glory because of them. When others see what Jesus has done for us, and what only Jesus can do for us, it speaks not just of the change in our lives but of how amazing Jesus is! Our joy and praise we bring to the house of the Lord is a testimony that could make the difference in a soul deciding Jesus is The Lord they want ruling in their lives.

  5. “Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” If there was no other reason, this alone would be reason enough for one to praise the Creator (Jesus). What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  6. HOW TO COME TO CHURCH

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Too often the believer is spiritually defeated before entering into the church and the presence of GOD. Scattered thoughts, discouraged emotions, dejected feelings all pressing against the JOY the of the LORD.

Living for GOD on PURPOSE, means I am coming to church for and with a purpose.

    1. To ENTER – I hope to come boldly before the King of Kings and gain access to HIS Holy Place of Mercy and find Grace (Favor) to help me in time of need.

    2. Enter HIS gates – Recognize HIS gates or acknowledge HIS presence – to appreciate and be thankful for the opportunity to have presence with the LORD of Glory.

    3. Enter HIS courts – When facing possible judgement for wrong, I definitely do not want to have a bad attitude. The courts are where judgment or favor is determined. With a heart of thanksgiving and an attitude of Praise I am prepared to receive MERCY.

    4. Be THANKFUL – Express appreciation for ALL the wonderful things that the LORD has done.

    5. Bless HIS name – The name of JESUS is the greatest name, above all others, every knee shall bow and tongue confess.

It is SUNDAY! Lets make church count today and approach this sacred opportunity prepared for the MIRACULOUS.

    iRepent

  7. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Thank you Lord for your mercy!

  8. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Without You Lord I am nothing.

“You, You are God, You are Lord, You are all I’m living for, You are King of everything, I want my life to praise You!”

  9. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

2 Cor 9:7 says God loveth a cheerful giver

The word cheerful is hilario, willing, prompt, hilarious.

This doesn’t just apply to money. Serve The Lord with gladness. Be excited about living for God.

It’s a joy to work for Jesus and do his will.

When we do it cheerfully we are promised he will continually love us.

The only kind of giver Jesus loves is a cheerful one.

  10. Happy….in the Land of the Lord’s.

What a glorious day to be in God’s presence. Oh that man would praise His NAME I LOVE JESUS . and I want to be in His house. Thankyou Lord I give You the highest praises

  11. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Leave your worries outside the door come into God’s house with a praise in your lips and a hip in your walk.

  12. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

I really like this scripter also because it always on the the short bus.

  13. Come on Judah….sing hallelujah!

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Giving thanks is the will of God!

  14. v2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

All good things come from GOD and it should our desire to please HIM in everything we say or do.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iRejoice

  15. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

The psalmist never mentions if we feel like it, or if all is good at home, then enter His gates with thanksgiving. We are to praise and worship regardless of our circumstances, regardless of our feelings…

HALELUJAH!!! Thank you JESUS!!! Can’t forget to bless HIS NAME!!!

  16. It’s all in your attitude.

When I was younger I wanted toys. And when we went to the store; my attitude would determine more than Lilly if I got that toy. Now grant it it was a $1 hot wheels car,but it was my attitude in the store if I got that car or not. Now that I look back I see many things that correspond to the spiritual. The bible says that God wants to give us good gifts. But it depends on our attitude. If we have a greatful heart and willing to use whatever it is for Gods kingdom. He will give it to you in His timing. A good attitude will go a long ways with God.

  17. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing
Whatever we do we we should do it with gladness in our hearts. Any time God gives us a opportunity to serve we are working in the greatest kingdom for the greatest God we should be thankful for the privilege to serve and give God our best!

  18. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Yes. Lord you are in control, the creator of everything. Have your way in Jesus name

  19. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭5‬ KJV)

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; (‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ KJV)

  20. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. (‭Psalms‬ ‭100‬:‭5‬ NKJV)

I’m thankful for a God that has mercy, grace, and love that never runs out! People have to know about you Jesus. They have to know about this amazing feeling I have right now!!! That Holy Ghost feeling never gets old. Their going to want it too!
I’ll will spread the word. Hallelujah!

  21. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Are we the generation enduring to spread the truth? He endured for us laying down everything at the cross. We need to have a continual hunger to reach out and spread the gospel. Because if He can’t use you then He will pass you up and find someone else who will have a hunger…

If you can use anything Lord you can use me!

  22. 1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

I love this psalm. We don’t have to make the most beautiful noise all the time. It tells us to make a joyful noise. It tells all the lands, that is everyone. Serve The Lord with gladness. Often we hear of the giving for offering and we are reminded to be glad, but how about the picking up used tissues or blowing candy wrappers with joy. We should not do tasks of service begrudgingly either. We should be happy and perform as if we were doing the job for our Lord and King. Come before his presence with singing, sing to Him a new song! The Lord is great and greatly to be praised!

  23. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Look at yourself in the mirror and check out not only your church outfit but your attitude also. Come bring your burden unto Him and He will give you His everlasting JOY.

  24. Verses 1-2 MSG “On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.” Whatever YOU bring in and whatever YOU yourself do determines the result of what You receive.

Verse 4 MSG “Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.” This reminds me of the song that says “Thanks, Thanks, I give you thanks for all you’ve done”! Thank you Lord.

  25. A Call to Service and Oraise

    Psalm 100 Serve with Gladness
There are three calls to serve, make a joyful noise(v.1), serve the Lord(v.2),

  26. Continue….and come before; and three causes for serving, the Lord is God, he hath made us, we are his people(v.3). Likewise, there are three calls to praise, enter his gates, be thankful, bless his name(v.4), followed by three causes for praise, the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting, his truth endureth(v.5).

  27. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

If we could all wake up every morning with this verse on our minds we would all live life a little different. I did not make myself, I did not make the children that I have but God did and my children and I belong to him. What a humbling thought.

  28. 1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

If I can make a joyful noise unto the Lord consistently, I find that my days has a different attitude. We cannot continually have praise on our lips and our heart and it not affect us.

  29. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Thank you God for your mercy and love!!!!!!:)

  30. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

How do we approach the King of Kings? We should always pray through at home and come into his sanctuary with praise. If we all do that then unity is in place before service even starts. It’s like running a race and getting a half track head start.

  31. 1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

I’m glad of the many different ways that we can give God praise. If I didn’t have hands to clap I can stump my feet, I can shout, I can use whatever and still make a joyful noise and give him praise. The point is to give him praise. Our Lord Jesus is great and greatly to be praised

  32. I like all 5 of these verses 1. MAKE a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Ps. 95 : 1 2. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Ps. 66 :13 5. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. I AM VICTORIOUS !!!!!! I Love you Jesus !!!! I Love to enter your gates with thanksgiving, and your courts with praise. Hallelujah !!!!!! Sing unto the LORD a new song !!!!!
