Psalm 103

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

  1. v2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits :

    v3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities ; who healeth all thy diseases;

    v4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    v5 Who satisfiieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s

    JESUS IS our soul satisfier. Our very best could never obtain the forgiveness and mercy of the LORD, the Grace of GOD has made it available .
    As the old great hymn goes———–
    ” Nothing can for sin atone
    nothing but the blood of JESUS .”

    We should respond as HIS ANGELS did .
    Hear HIS WORD
    Obey HIS WORD
    BLESS HIS HOLY NAME

    GOD showed us HIS LOVE when we do not deserve it.
    ” Blessed be the LORD GOD of Israel from everlasting , and to everlasting .
    Amen, and Amen . Psalms 41:13

  2. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

    Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven ; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven , the same loveth little.

    I love much for my sins were many and He forgave them all. Removed them with His precious blood. Never to be spoken of them again. Thank You Jesus For Forgiving me. Thank you Jesus for being my Lord, my Saviour, My God, and My ALL.

  3. All diseases

    Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, (‭Psalm‬ ‭103‬:‭2-3‬ NIV)

    He heals all of our diseases and forgives all sins, but do we really believe it. The world says all not some!! I think it’s time for us to unlock the potential of our minds and start speaking what God would speak. All diseases healed in Jesus name. Let’s muster up enough faith to shake this world. It just takes one person.

    When David killed Goliath the people realized that if David could do it we can too. Not long after Goliath fell people were slaying giants like it was nothing. One person who steps out in faith can spark a new pattern of belief. It’s time to shift into the miraculous and continue to see the salvation of The Lord.

  4. Verse 1 CEV “With all my heart I praise the Lord, and with all that I am I praise his holy name!”

    Same verse AMP “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!” Everything, give him everything and praise his holy name.

    Verse 21 CEV “All of you thousands who serve and obey God, come and praise your Lord!” This verse reminds of what we heard last night. It’s time to come together, it’s time to come home, it’s our (POFW) time (appointed) for God’s favor.

  5. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
    12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
    13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

    Fear of respect is what the Lord is looking for from us, his mercy is toward them that fear him. The great mercy of God is compared to how high heaven is above the earth. How our God looks at things is so far above how we look at things, look at the comparison. God in his great mercy removes our sins from us as far as the east is from the West.

    pity:
    sympathetic or kindly sorrow evoked by the suffering, distress, or misfortune of another, often leading one to give relief or aid or to show mercy: to feel pity for astarving child.

    The Lord will have pity on us if we fear him, but fear him we must and understand the power he has over man kind.
    God is great and greatly to be praised!!!

  6. 1. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    We’ve all seen the kids run and play for what seemed like forever and wished we still had the ability to do it, too. Now we know how to get there – how to get that renewed energy and strength of youth: Bless the Lord!

  7. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. (‭Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭12‬ NKJV)

    You made me whole. Lord know I had stains on me you made clean. Refreshed me. Never will you Remember my sin. Even though sometimes it comes backs and pops up in my head and it’s hard to get rid of. I remember you don’t remember cause you cast them away! My sins will never be able to come back with purpose. I can. I thank you Jesus.

    Your sacrifices for us was so unnecessary. You don’t even owe us breath. We thank you Lord.

    Jesus I need you…

  8. Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. (‭Psalms‬ ‭103‬:‭1-2‬ NLT)

    Praise GOD, I will never forget. Since day one, I can remember His embrace of Love that He expressed towards me. I literally felt His Hands holding my heart, and filling it with His pure Love. Wow!!!! Thank You Jesus!!!!!!!
    How GREAT IS OUR GOD!!!! I will continually PRAISE you, The KING OF GLORY!!!!!

  9. 4 He redeems you from hell – saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy – a paradise crown. 5 He wraps you in goodness – beauty eternal. He renews your youth – you’re always young in his presence. MSG

    I am so thankful for the day that God saved my soul from hell and put me on the straight and narrow road.

  10. YES LORD!!!
    1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    With ALL THAT IS WITHIN MEEEE!!! EVERYTHING? YES!!! OOOOOO but we are soooooo on it when it comes to receiving HIS benefits!!! WHEN AFTER LOVING US FIRST SHOULD BE MORE THAN ENOUGH, HE ………12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath HE removed our transgressionS from us…….. OOOOOO I PRAISE YOU JESUS!!! THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU JESUS!!! GREAT AND MIGHTY IS OUR GOD !!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! HALELUJAH!!!

    *Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    If I asked you if all these benefits were for you everyone would say “Yes.” to everything except one…

    The following are the Benefits people say “Yes, it’s God’s will” to:
    *Who forgiveth all thine iniquities
    *Who redeemeth thy life from destruction
    *who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies
    *Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

  12. THE TEMPORAL SEASON OF LIFE

    14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
    15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
    16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
    17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
    18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    No one alive can really understand death. Therefore we are wise to learn from and rely on the WORD of GOD for indicators of what is to come in eternal life. Too often we take life in this realm too serious, when it is only temporal. As the psalmist reminds us in this passage; life is very short compared to eternity. Too many people are living their life to simply be happy today, to gain every possession, to have their way in every circumstance and to live out their own will, forgetting that soon this life as we know it will pass.

    Since LIFE is filled with offenses and opportunities to disregard and disobey the WORD of GOD we must keep ourselves focused on eternity, none of us are promised tomorrow, we must LIVE for GOD today. Fear GOD, keep his covenants and obey his commandments. This is preparation for eternal life, I encourage you today to make the choice and select GOD today and HIS will and way, eternity is a long time to regret a bad decision.

    Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

    Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

    The best choice I have made in this temporal life on earth is the day I chose to follow and serve the LORD.

    Altar, prayer and fellowship worship what a wonderful life through Jesus Christ, what a wonderful Name to know.

  14. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    The benefits of the Lord are going to cost you. To live for God, and walk with Him will cause to leave the things of cosmos behind. The words “keep” and “remember” mean that we have things “to do” to hold on to the benefits of a relationship with Him. Jesus said in Matt 8:20 “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” Adressing it again in Matt 16:24 “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

  15. “For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.” When one truly evaluates the situation one will see, the Lord (Jesus) has and continues to abundantly give. As such one should gladly; “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  16. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
    5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    Everything we need we can find in him- all his benefits: forgiveness, healing, strength, tender mercies, redemption and so much more! As the song goes…”all we need in him, we find this very hour!” I bless the Lord with all my soul- my sins are buried & forgotten, I am healed and my strength is renewed. I praise him for all his marvelous works.

  17. Bless thLord for He knows who you are, what your going to do, and who you will be.
    Never forget what God has done for you and alway thank him for it. Even thank him for the storms bc if it was not for them you wouldn’t be who you are now.

  18. 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

    I thank God for being my redeemer, for His love and mercy. Without Him I am nothing and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today of it wasn’t for His love and mercy that redeemed me.

  19. Bless the Lord, O my soul: with all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    Thank You Lord for your Mercy. I am not worthy of all you have done for me. Bless your holy name. You are my everything. I am nothing without you. May your will be done in my life. Let me be your vessel. Thank You Jesus for one more day to learn your word and to honor you.

  20. 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

    9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

    10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

    11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

    We serve a merciful God!

    With a list such as this, what other benefit could a person want?

  22. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    I always think of this scripture when people asked why I don’t do this or that. The truth of the matter is that the benefits of following God always out weigh the pleasure that last for a moment when you disobey him.

  23. 11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

    12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

    Thank you Jesus… Thank you for making me clean, thank you fir forgiving me, thank you for redeeming me. You are so faithful, so mighty.. you gave all.. I don’t want to get caught giving some when you gave all. You sacrificed for me.. I will sacrifice for you. I need you Jesus. I love you

  24. 16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

    17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    God’s mercy is from everlasting to everlasting , I am so thankful that God had mercy on me and saved me from a life of sin and gave me hope of life eternal with him!
    It is up to us to keep His commandments and keep God’s mercy on our life!

  25. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
    5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    There is NONE like Jesus. King of kings, yet He still has time for each and every one of His people and their cries.

    When it comes to His benefits, there is none greater than, Soul Satisfier, because with that, He gives peace, forgiveness, and heals, even the deep wounds…

  26. This scripture says it all, the Lord has forgiven us, as a Father who pitieth his children, and he healed all our diseases, and removed our transgressions as far as the east is from the west, they are gone! Although, you haven’t received your healing yet, but you can receive your healing, just don’t give up on your faith. Get those negative thoughts out of your head that God doesn’t heal anymore! His blood still, cleanses & heals us, in Jesus name. Amen & Amen. Even, if I have to wait until his return, I’m going to believe for my healing and my family! My Father LOVES me, and will not forsake me nor his word, nor his covenant! He is the truth and is unable to LIE, he must do his word! My Father has a rescue plan for me, he is a very creative God, and he can still create new things for me/us, even a way out. An avenue of escape of your current situations and/or your problems. Amen & Amen, in Jesus name………….

    12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

    13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

    14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

    “GOD LOVES YOU”, “He LOVES his Children, don’t give UP!”…………………

  27. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

    4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

  28. Look at the dimensions of God’s love—“high as the heavens” and from everlasting to everlasting”!

    The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love…..For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him…..From everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him.
    Psalm 103:8, 11, 17

  29. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

    Praise be to God that blesses me daily. Praise him for He is great in forgiveness. Without The Lord and His loving mercy towards us our destiny will be of doom. Daily He showers us with blessings. Like the little things we take for granted sometimes like our hair, fingers, etc, all our body members working fine and enjoying health to deliverance from major circumstances and provision. The greatest is the price He paid on the cross shedding His blood for my salvation. I praise you Lord for you are good and your mercy endureth forever.

  30. 18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

    IFT is important. When we make a promise it is our responsibility to see it through. A covenant is an agreement to do something or promise. In today’s society a promise is easily broken. But God said to keep promises. As Pastor stated lets get back to our commitments to God.

  31. Psalms 103:2
    Bless the Lord, O my soul,and forget not all his benefits:

    Benefits
    [1691] גְּמוּל gemûl 19x what is done; benefit; what is deserved, recompense [1576]

    The benefits of The Lord is what he has done. His mercy love and grace has been given to us freely.

    What amazing benefits to living for God.

  32. 15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
    16 For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

    Understand that life is short do all you can to fulfill God’s plan for your life.

    Pray, seek his face and obey the Word of God and his plan will come to pass?

  33. 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits

    Sometimes we forget the benefits of being a child of God. We are his children. We have power to tread on serpents. We have the power to speak things in existence or out of existence. We have to remember who our father is.

  34. 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
    8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
    17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

    Just reading this scripture brings release. It reminds me of all the reasons to be thankful and the wonderful things that God has done. Bless The Lord, o my soul! There are so many reasons to be thankful. He has plenty of mercy. Thank you JESUS that we don’t get what we deserve, instead we get mercy!

  35. More Than Enough

    1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

    2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

    Why would the Psalmist speak of not forgetting all the Lord’s benefits if it wasn’t something we would deal with in our humanity? In the midst of life, we can lose sight of what God has done and continues to do in our lives. But that’s where we must be purposeful about meditating on the benefits of the Lord. As we reflect on His Word and what He has done and does for us personally, we will see how He is more than enough for us.

    Psalm 68:19
    Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

  36. 1 Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name.
    12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.
    I will praise your name with everything I have Lord. You are amazing God to remove our sins. Thank you God! 🙂

  37. BLESS the LORD 1. BLESS the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Ps. 103 : 22 2. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3. Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4. Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5. Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. IAM VICTORIOUS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS !!!!! I v’e Come to Bless your name JESUS !!!!
