Psalm 106

1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.

17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:

35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. Repent Now….

God is angry when his people sin lets hirry up and ask for forgiveness before its too late!!!
We know when someone has been sinning against God because we used to and God has already convicted us to cleanup our lives and Repent.

    Acts 2:38
Repent and be baptised in the Name of Jesus for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

I dont want to be around someone elses sin ….IT STINKS LIKE THE SMELL OF THE ENEMY.

BUT I love the sinner, not the sin Lord help me to help someone else so they can repent and follow You,dear Jesus

    Acts 9:31
31/ Then had the churches rest throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and waljing in the fear of the LORD, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

    Revival NOW.

  2. 34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lord commanded them:
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Open your eyes people this is what our Nation is doing right now. We are living comfortably among our own enemies and little by little they are serving their gods. It is time to draw a line, if you do not stand for what you believe, GOD WILL.

  3. 2. Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord? Who can ever praise him enough? NLT

    John 21:25 KJV
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

We could never praise Him enough for what He has done; and if He never did another thing, we could never praise Him enough for who He is!

  4. Wonders!
    Psalm 106:13, 21
They soon forget what he had done…….They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt.

Sometimes we are like the children of Israel….

1 Chronicles 16:12 urges us to “Remember the wonders he [God] has done.” We all have those times when God breaks through to our awareness like a bright spotlight!
In the stress of today, let’s nohasorget that the God of yesterday’s “wonders; is the same God who is with us today. His past provision shows us He will meet our present problems.

I thank God for every wonder He has done in my life.

  5. iLove to eat the Word

30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

The man of God did the right thing and he was never stopped blessed for doing it.

If we do the right thing, blessings are going to follow us. The sacrifices of IFT are have not gone unknoticed by God, the rewards of faithfulness are going to overtake us soon.

  6. 39 They defiled themselves by their evil deeds, and their love of idols was adultery in the Lord’s sight. (NLT)

We are in relationship with Christ, to break His first commandment and leave Him, your first love, is like adultery to Him. Too many times in this day and age many are caught up in trying to find another love and become distracted from God and their relationship with Him. I am keeping my eyes focused on You God, I am in relationship with You and I will serve You with my whole heart, seeking after You and following You all the days of my life.

  7. 12 Then his people believed his promises. Then they sang his praise.
13 Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done!
Lord when I cry out for you Lord to save me you do more than I need! I praise your Holy Name and thank you for what you have done. Lord help me not to forget what you have done in my life, how much more you have gave to me and what you are going to do in my life! 🙂 Thank You Lord!!

  8. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

None of us are fit to tell of His mighty act, until we repent, and are baptized in Jesus name for the remission of our sins, and filled with the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking in other tongues. And even at that point, because we still fall linton sin, and He is so Holy, we still show who He is through our sinful eyes and mouths.

We can however paise! When we praise walls come down, and mountains move. When we praise we lift Him up an He draws all men to Him.

Keep Praising and watch what happens.

  9. 7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

The sad part of not understanding the mighty WORKS of God. Our God is a great King and Lord who wants us to remember him and what he has done for us.
The Israelites forgot what God had done for them, even forgot the mercy he had shown them. Forgot how they crossed the Red Sea on dry ground, how the waters were parted. Murmured and complained all the way from Egypt to Canaan, nothing God did was enough. Does this sound like you or us? We need to embrace the powerful works of God and see him as our redeemer and savior.
God sent them quail to eat manna from heaven, it seems the more God did the more they complained. Ready to enter into Canaan the spies bring back a report, we are grasshoppers in their sight, so evil. We must never forget if God be for us, who can be against us.
Jesus is on our side, now let’s act like Jesus is on our side.
    FAITH, FAITH, FAITH

  10. 9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

    My God is awesome
    He can move mountains
    Keep me in the valley
    Hide me from the rain

Our God is able to all things. Even when you come to your red sea, God is able to pull the troubles back and allow you to walk right through. We should never take God’s love and mercy for granted. It is God who allows us to wake every morning and go about our day to day duties. There is no one who even comes close to our God.

  11. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

    21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

It is the favorite trick of the adversary satan, to tempt the believer to focus of current hardships to forget recent BLESSINGS. The key to VICTORY in this area is Thanksgiving, every day give thanks to the LORD his salvation, and for him bringing us out of sin. Salvation is by far the greatest BLESSING we will receive.

There is also a very HIGH price tag for those that forget the BLESSINGS of salvation, they will wonder in the wilderness of deception.

Defeat and deception begin in the heart and at home.

25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

Do not allow anyone or anything to talk you out of your MIRACLE, remember always how the LORD brought you out and how he delivered us from sin.

    Murmuring always turn into resentment.

16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS and always follow, trust and obey GOD.

    iRepent
    iRemember
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  12. The self centered, ungrateful attitude of the children of Israel is very evident in this chapter. They would forget God, do their own thing, and then come running back when they needed something. They spoke evil against Him, they murmured and complained. Hod have them what they requested, “would to God we would die in the wilderness.”

But the saddest thing is verse 37, 38:
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Their actions and the words of their mouth brought death to the future generation.

We must be very careful what we speak and do. Our future generations are watching us and responding to what we do and say. We are responsible to preserve the principles of The Lord in their lives so that here is a future generation that loves God and is obedient to follow His commands.

  13. 1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Thank you for your everlasting mercy. I praise your holy name.

  14. 4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

Lord remember me, remember where you brought me from and where you promised to take me. Please remember me for I will never forget, ever.

  15. v3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

When we choose the way of righteouness over unrighteousness , it forms for us a special relationship with the LORD ; we
belong to HIM ! When we belong to HIM, we are able to enjoy a whole new world of wonderful things.

Paul wrote, ” Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; and behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5: 17

Repentance and JESUS NAME baptism receiving the gift of the HOLY GHOST as GOD promised . We become part of GOD’s
family , HE claims us as family.

v48 Blessed be the LORD GOD of Israel from everlasting to everlasting : and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

    i Choose Righteouness
    iAm a new creature
    iBelong to GOD’S family
    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iRejoice

  16. Psalms 106:19-20
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. 20 Thus they changed their gloryinto the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

You are who you pray to. You become what you focus on. You will imitate what you appreciate. They prayed the cow and the bible says they were like the cow.

Praise Jesus, read his word, pray in his presence and you will be like Jesus!

  17. 12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

When someone turns away from God their soul go into a shock. We must turn away from God. It is dangerous to the health of our souls.

  18. Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Somethings are not done because of us but because His power has to be made known.

  19. Verses 1-3 AMP “Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Who can put into words and tell the mighty deeds of the Lord? Or who can show forth all the praise [that is due Him]? Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are those who observe justice [treating others fairly] and who do right and are in right standing with God at all times.”

Same verses MSG “1-3 Hallelujah! Thank God! And why? Because he’s good, because his love lasts. But who on earth can do it—declaim God’s mighty acts, broadcast all his praises? You’re one happy man when you do what’s right, one happy woman when you form the habit of justice.”

Be happy for the Lord is good! Praise His holy name.

  20. “But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.” The Lord (Jesus) gave direction and instruction, however they disobeyed, and it cost them. The snares of the deceiver are ever present, as such one would be wise to obey the word of God (Jesus), and heed the man of God; “Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.” What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  21. They forgot God, their savior, who had done such great things in Egypt— (‭Psalms‬ ‭106‬:‭21‬ NLT)

Even when we forgot about you you were still the savior of us all when we were lost and dead in sin captured by this world. You never gave up on us.

  22. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?
I’ll answer the question of the prophet no one can! God is to great to awesome to tell of his mighty acts. And even though we thank and praise him we could never thank him enough! We should give Him the glory for everything every time we get because he is a awesome God.

  23. 45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

God is so good, kind and loving towards us, yet we hurt him with our sins. Where would be be with our His mercies that new each morning? It’s practically impossible to be perfect, that was only our Lord Jesus, but we must strive with all our being to like Him. He will gives strength to overcome. And when we fall we must repent. Turn away and run as fast as one can from sin. There is so much at stake. Repent and sin not. We must the remember the benefits, blessings that He daily pours out on us.
I pray The Lord forgives me the things that I’ve done wrong, even then one that I didn’t know we’re sin. I pray that may have always a humble and repentant attitude and that may embrace, Im thankful the The Lord Jesus and that precious blood.

  24. The God Of The Event Is The God Of The Process

9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

The Red Sea deliverance was an event whereas the wilderness journey was a process, even if the children of Israel hadn’t wandered for the additional 40 years. Yet the same One who delivered them at the Red Sea was the One who brought them through the wilderness. I’ve heard it preached concerning illness that it takes more faith to believe God for a process than a miracle. Why? A miracle is a one-time touch, but a process is a journey of daily walking by faith. In the same way we must not become weary in our faith during a process just because it’s not quick like a miracle. He’s the same Jesus giving us deliverance, it’s just happening differently. Our hope should not be in faith itself but in the God who answers our faith, and our faith should not be in the means of deliverance (miracle or process) but rather in the God of the deliverance. The stability and surety of Jesus secures us through whichever route we go; we can stay above the storm if we keep our eyes on Him.

    Matthew 14:28-31
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

  25. Don’t forget us Jesus, and please stop by with your saving glory!

    4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

    “Be blessed”……………………..

  26. Ever forget, happened to them

    21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

Our testimonies are not just for outsiders. People In the church need to be reminded of the wonderful acts of God too. These people who forgot their saviour were the ones that went through the miracles. They were the ones that saw the things happen (cancer healed and blind eyes opened) with their own eyes and still they worshiped (television, movies, alcohol, chemicals, pharmasudicals) a golden cow. They knew that “image” did not save them from their troubles and yet there they were bowing down.

Testify of what The Lord has done for you. Don’t just hold on to it for outreach. We should even share it with those who walked through the miracle with you! Sometimes we all need to remember what JESUS has done in our own lives!

  27. Abortion.

    Psalms 106:37
They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons,

Abortion is a modern day practice of Baal. That’s why we can’t protest with signs and blogs. We have to protest in our prayer closets. It is a spiritual wickedness we must fight. It is idolatry of self. It is said that a women should have a right to do what she wants with her body; however, her body belongs to The Lord. Society had created a god of self. We, the United States, need The Lord to return us to a revelation of who he is.

  28. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all their people say, Amen. Praise ye Lord.
Lord, I praise your name. I trust you from the beginning to the end. Lord I choose everlasting life over this flesh. There is no other GOD. Bless your Holy name.

  29. Save us, O LORD our God 47 Save us; O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. 48. Blessed be the LORD God of Is’-ra-el from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, A’-men. Praise ye the LORD. Your name is Holy JESUS !!!! I AM VICTORIOUS !!!!! And I Praise you Jesus !!!!
