Psalm 110

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

  1. How would you like to be told this by the Lord?

1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Remember, we all have been called to minister!

4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

  2. YES!!!
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

    HALELUJAH!!!
    Speaks about
WILLINGNESS, HOLINESS………. Are we there in 1 spirit yet? If not we are really really close to it.
GOD IS GREAT!!! HALELUJAH!!! I PRAISE YOU JESUS!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!

  3. 1 The word of God to my Lord: “Sit alongside me here on my throne until I make your enemies a stool for your feet.” MSG
Let God handle your enemies, when we stay out of it after we turn it over to God things run so much smoother.

  4. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

What greater order could we follow after than this Melchizedek!
The priest of peace and one which blesses us where we can defeat our enemies. We did notice one important part about Melchizedek meeting Abram, when Abram met him he realized who he was and agreed to pay tithes unto him. I wonder if paying tithes is tied to the blessing, we should always tithe on our income and allow us to be blessed of God. This will remove the curse that can be placed on us if we rebell against God.

    Heb 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
    Heb 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

I thank God everyday for the revelation of The oneness of the God head, his name is Lord Jesus Christ. We need to understand who we are serving and allow him to bless us, after the order of Melchizedek.
One who has no father, no mother, and no beginning of days. This is simple to me!

  5. iLove to eat the Word

    “The Rod of Strength”

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

When the enemy attacks the hardest and completely surrounds you, The Rod of Strength will deliver you.

Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

What is the rod of strength?

    rod of strength #H5797
    עז
    o’z
From H5810; strength in various applications (force, security, majesty, praise): – boldness, loud, might, power, strength, strong.

    LOUD PRAISE!

Lets worship and smash the enemies plans with the rod of strength.

  6. 1. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

In the Position of Dominion…when someone is your footstool, not only have you defeated them and made them your servant, but you have broken their spirit. Even a servant without a broken spirit would refuse to kneel before you and let you put your dirty boots on their back for as long as you desired. I feel that God is breaking spirits and giving POFW the Position of Dominion in this region!

  7. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

We find great HOPE in the WORD of GOD. Regardless our journey or what route it may take, rough terrain, gravel road or paved pathway; one thing is certain somewhere along the way we will become thirsty, fatigued and weary.

I am so thankful for this WORD from the LORD today. Regardless of the path or peril in life we simply must get a drink of water to KEEP YOUR HEAD UP.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

In John 4 JESUS presents the opportunity and source of obtaining a drink through HIM. In John 7 he reveals the access to this LIVING WATER on any path, in every life.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

GET yourself a DRINK of LIVING WATER in the way called life, be FILLED with the Holy Ghost and KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  8. The LORD has made a promise that will NEVER be Broken: Psalm 110:4

It’s all I need, to TRUST The Lord at His Word!! His word will never fail me, I hold on to all of His promises that He has for me.

  9. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

NOTHING can separate us from the love of Jesus, expect us by our own sin. He called us, and WILL NOT change His mind about that. He wants us to stand firm, trusting in Him, and reach for the lost as we serve Him.

  10. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

    Isaiah 66:1
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

It would be easy to read through this chapter and not see the fundamental truths of the oneness of God. It would also be easy to read through and not see the position Christ holds while hear on earth and we have access to that same position through the Holy Ghost. He said to sit for a while, while “I” (God) make your enemies they footstool. Yes, this chapter is a prophecy of Christ but we too can sit for a while and allow God to put our enemy under our feet. Knowing how crazy I am once he was placed under my feet I would put my high heels on and dance all over his head; but that’s just me 😉

In my head to sit is something you do when you’ve finished all your work and you need a little rest. So, for me it would be safe to say that God is saying come sit down and let me handle this. I have found you faithful in the fight and now it’s time to take a rest for a moment. A siting position is not a sleeping position. In other words your will not be there forever but catch your breath and let me handle this round and I will let you handle the next round. While we are on the earth we must keep fighting the good fight of faith and find our rest in Him.

  11. “We Have Sinned”
    Psalm 106

twofold petittion, save us….gather us, with a twofold purpose, to give thanks…..and to triumph(v.47).
Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

v.48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

  12. Victorious Warrior

    Psalm 110: 5-7
v.7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

  13. 5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

The day is coming when our God Jesus will return!!!! No kingdom will be safe from His judgement, nor no country, nor nation; but if we keep our heads up and watch the signs to come He will not find us unprepared. Get the oil for your laps for the bridegroom is COMING.

  14. “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand”. God’s (Jesus) arrival in flesh made a world changing impact that solidified who he is. As such one can rest assured the word of the Lord (Jesus), is forever settled, and shall be so; “The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent”. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  15. The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head. (‭Psalms‬ ‭110‬:‭5-7‬ NKJV)

I’m glad I’m not a pagan! Thankful im on The Lords side.

  16. God come in and take control! The battle is not mine, but it is The Lord’s. We have victory in His Name!

  17. Spiritual Victory

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

“Every high thing must come down, every stronghold shall be broken, You were the Victor’s Crown, You overcome, You overcome…” The Lord is mighty to cast down princes of darkness, strongholds over regions, and break chains off the multitudes. We the church get that victory and are to walk in dominion over those things. We must not get numb to spiritual battles and be so accustomed to the idea of it that we let down our guard and become a casualty of war; rather we must stand up and continue marching forward in victory, seeing the powers of darkness fall and the Kingdom of God established.

    Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    2 Corinthians 10:4
    For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

  18. Don’t just say it. Do it.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

We say we walk the walk. But the walk with The Lord is true. He will never leave us or forsake us. In this life we know that people have good intentions but most of the time don’t go through with them. They leave us. So when there’s a dry season of testing. We feel as though God has left us. But His Word is true. He is always there for us. Keep the faith, be still ,and know he is God.

  19. The caption for this chapter in the CEV says “The Lord Gives Victory” and verse 7 says “He will drink from any stream that he chooses, while winning victory after victory.” Anybody thirsty????

The caption in the NASB says “The Lord Gives Dominion to the King”. The Lord has given us Dominion and Victory in His name.

  20. 7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Keep your head up and keep your focus on The Lord.

  21. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

If God be for us, who can be against?!

  22. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The same term “willing” used here is identical to how Jesus said in Matt 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” It is a constant choice to turn away from things of this world that would distract us from a humble willingness to serve Him. “Fesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” (John 3:6) the Lord gave us His Spirit to strengthen and guide us. He equipted us with armor (Eph 6:10-12) to protect us.

The NIV of this verse says: “Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.” You can’t be ready for battle and be distracted by the enemy. In Rev 22:16 Jesus says “I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
If we are focused on the darkness of our flesh we will totally miss the light, our bright Morning Star calling us out to battle. Like a soldier lapping water like a dog, you can fall prey when off gaurd. The dogs tounge was designed to scoop up water, we were designed to be alert victorious warriors.

  23. I am reminded of the prophetic word from Evangelist Bobby Wade that because we have been faithful, wise servants, God has not placed positioned us as Rulers.

NIV – Verse 2 – The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”

  24. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

  25. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

    God revenge….
GOD has the ultimate revenge and is the greatest avenger we could ever have. The bible speaks of praying for our enemies and: doing so we heap coals of fire upon their heads. The word also says “vengeance is mine saith the Lord I will repay” we doing need to seek revenge all we need to do is sit at His right hand and he will take care of us.

  26. v1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool .

The safest place possible at the right hand of THE LORD. The Name Of The LORD is a strong tower, strengh , and protection .

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iRejoice

  27. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

When God says somethjng good about you, or makes you a promise and says I’m not gonna ever take it back, that’s amazing!!

  28. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Stay in the position of Power which is in the spirit. Battles are won in prayer not in our flesh.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

  29. Jesus!!

    Psalms 110:1
The Lord Gives Dominion to the King. A Psalm of David. The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

Partially fulfilled at the ascension of Christ. Fully fulfilled at Armageddon. We have a hope that is in Christ Jesus. Everything answers to him. .

  30. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Just a simple thought came to mind on this verse; let the The Lord handle it. And give him praise he will get the glory and you won’t even have to get dirty; sit and wait for revenge is the Lord’s Praise the Lord!

  31. Sit at my right hand 1. THE LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 3. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. Judg. 5 : 2 I AM VICTORIOUS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS !!!! I Praise you Jesus, I Lift you up, I Glorify you Jesus, You are Holy !!!!
