  1. YES LORD!!!

  2. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The word FEAR is not used as to be scared, is more as reverence, respect, honor…is the beginning of wisdom. It is simple, it is wise to have Reverence, respect, and honor for God. Don’t live like you don’t have no God!!!! God has always expected full obedience of us. His commandments are His guideline; He says follow them, obey, and you will be so happy that all you can do is Praise Me!!!! God wants us to have a happy life. That Happy life is dependent upon us doing right, loving God, and following His commandments.

  3. We must give God all of our heart not just a part of it. He is a jealous God and doesn’t want anything else taking his place in our hearts. Fearing him and following his commandments is the beginning of wisdom and giving are all to him increases our wisdom daily as he guides and directs us.

  4. 3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

The work of God is most certainly Honorable and Glorious, there is nothing more powerful than to see someone filled with The holy Ghost. People are healed when we seek God for a move of his spirit, no greater honor than to have God heal you. The works of our great God, as he called it wonderful works will always be remembered. I have heard many reports through the years of the moving of the spirit and will remember them and tell them to the next generation. The Word teaches is a good report makes the bones fat, and yes victory in Jesus is a good report.
I want to remember the great move of God in our day and see what God can do, see the great mercy of God move for this generation. He is a God that is wanting to show compassion to this generation.

  5. 2 The works of the Lord are great…

3 His work is honourable and glorious…

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered…

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works…

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment…

    Word of the day…Work!
Let’s go to work and build something for God!

  6. iLove to eat the Word,

Wild Weird Praise in the Sanctuary”

Psalms 111:1 KJV Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

The word Praise in the Hebrew has several definitions. To start off, the Word “Praise” at the beginning of Psalm 111:1 has the following definition:

    praise #1984
    הלל
    hâlal
    haw-lal’
A primitive root; to be clear (originally of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence to make a show; to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively to celebrate; also to stultify: – (make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool (-ish, -ly), glory, give [light], be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, [sing, be worthy of] praise, rage, renowned, shine.

David gave God some wild and crazy praise in the sanctuary. IT IS Biblical to act crazy in the sanctuary for Jesus.

  7. 10, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”

Do you want wisdom and understanding? Then fear God and obey His Word.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

  8. 1 Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

    Praise the Lord!

A few days ago, I posted about routine praise, and the only way for it to be a new praise everyday, was for it to b from a sincere heart. Here we see that not only should it be from a sincere heart, but also with our whole heart.

Here we are shown two prime times that we should praise him with our whole hearts, the first being in the assembly of the upright, those who do right, who lead us not only at church, but also in public. These are the people that we try “extra hard” to do what is right in front of, because we don’t want to be embarrassed. The second is in the congregation, as we stand before others who “should ” be doing their “best” to be upright too.

If we are praising with our whole hearts, we will not be simply praising when someone else is around, but we will be praising when we are alone, even if everything falls apart.

Also, I really liked this verse too:

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

It provokes me to ask two questions:
    1) If fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, what all else is required to become wise?
    2) if someone does not do His commandments, does that men that they do not have good understanding? Or is it they don’t have a good understanding of who He is? what is asked of them? The reward/ conquences?

  9. ENDURANCE

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

We find 2 key principals in this chapter in regards to ENDURANCE. Keeping the FAITH is of utmost importance as we journey through life. To FEAR the LORD is not to be interior of him, but to live in respect and awe of HIM, so much awe and respect that we do not want to violate any of HIS commandments. This is where WISDOM begins. A carnal, lawless person is living in total absence of WISDOM or living ignorantly.

Understanding is POWER, we gain understanding after obedience, too often we seek understanding before obedience, we understand the storm after we obey the word and voice of GOD.

A life of continual PRAISE is the path and key to endurance.

Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Praising GOD through the pain of rejection and hurt is key element of endurance.

“You’re gonna make it, you’ve got what it takes to WIN”!

  10. 1Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation ESV
I belive here God is telling us he wants a whole heart praise not a half hearted praise, I think when we give God a half hearted praise its a slap in the face. I want to praise God with a whole heart and with everything I got. Remember to keep a smile on your face and a praise in your heart today!

  11. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

    Praise God

  12. 9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

    I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED!

    Psalm 107:2
    Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

The world does not revolve around you or I but around HIM! Everything exists because of Him and stays in control because of Him. It take a wise person to understand that and apply it and live it.

  13. 4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Praise the Lord he will not forget what he has promised. He is too good to me, thank you Jesus

  14. The Greatness of God’s Works

    Psalm 111:1-6
Psalm of praise and contains the characteristic call to praise(v.1), cause for praise (vv.2-9)

Praise ye the Lord. I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

    Verity and Judgment
Psalm 111:7-10 (concludes with exhortation to praise v.10)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

  15. Verse 10 AMP “The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom and skill [the preceding and the first essential, the prerequisite and the alphabet]; a good understanding, wisdom, and meaning have all those who do [the will of the Lord]. Their praise of Him endures forever.” All of these words, beginning, preceding, first essential, prerequisite and alphabet speak to me about order. As Pastor said to many times we want to understand it before we do it; but, that is where obedience (completely trusting in Him) comes in. In ORDER to receive; we must do, in ORDER to have.

  16. He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant. (‭Psalms‬ ‭111‬:‭5‬ NKJV)

Thank you Jesus I like food!!!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. (‭Psalms‬ ‭111‬:‭10‬ NKJV)

Lord I pray for wisdom and understanding. Guide my every footstep. Thank you for redemption!

  17. 7 All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.
8 They are forever true, to be obeyed faithfully and with integrity. (NLT)

Trust and obey The Lord and His commandments!

  18. 2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

The works of The Lord are honourable, great, glorious, and wonderful. It is time to start working, it is time to build.

  19. 7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. He never changes. What was established as His law and commandments in the beginning are still commandments for us to follow today. It’s sad to see so many people that pick and choose the commandments they want to follow.

  20. The Works

The word “works” is used 5 times in this chapter alone. The psalmist is describing what the Lord has done, and is going to do, that will be remembered. In the time of Noah God flooded the earth, for Moses is was the Exodus, for Joshua took Israel into the promised land.

    His works:
vs 2 to be “sought out” learned and taught:
    Deut 6:7 and 2 Tim 2:15
vs 3 “endureth for ever” cannot expire. Isa 9:7
vs 4 “to be remembered” Deut 6:6, Josh 4:24
vs 6 took the “heritage of the heathen” Josh 12:1
vs 7 “are sure” Isa 55:11
    “his praise endureth for ever”

  21. 5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

Those who love Godcand do his commandments. He will bless you. Be obedient to him. Just as we are his children. He will bless those that do well.

  22. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
To fear God is to have reverence and respect for him. It is to honor him and his commandments. The fear of God helps us to make the right decisions and do the right thing when we need to. When we do his commandments God gives us understanding and leads us.

  23. Positive fear.

    Psalms 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.

This scripture is not talking about a fear of an abusive father but more if a fear of a just father who disciplines his children out of love. It’s that fear when you know a whipping is due. This fear gives us a reverence for God and aids us in keeping his commandments. When we obey him we have a good understanding of him and are able to voice praises to him freely. Sin binds the liberty we have in worship, but when we are set free by Christ we are able to fulfill our divine purpose and praise him forever.

  24. v10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding had all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

A loving relationship involves trust and respect toward the person just for who he or she is. Same principle applies we love GOD because of who HE IS ….. The Creator and sustainer of life. We respect and trust HIM as we surrender everything to HIM.
    “HIS PRAISE ENDURETH FOR EVER.”

  25. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

In honoring God with our whole heart or giving him 100% of everything we got is the ply way to please him. When we seek after him while heartedly is when he knows we fear him, or revere him. I believe only the whole hearted will be able to enter his presence after this life. I don’t believe anyone is going to barely make it. So we have to fear him and serve with our whole heart

  26. 5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

The Lord is who provides all our needs and gives the desires of our hearts. It is a wise thing to fear (honor and respect) him. You see people with sings at roadway intersection and many of them asking for help, a donation of some sort. Now we all make mistakes some may just have made wrong choices and all they need is truth to shine on them. A turn around from that life…repentance and fearing the Lord. The word says in psalms 37

Psalm 37:25-28 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Pray for the fear of the Lord in the region of Fort Worth, starting with myself and my family that we may be wise and follow and obey his commandments… And the Lord shall provide.

Thanks you Jesus for your Word.

  27. 9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

Covenant is a pact, treaty, league, or agreement. These verbs make it plain that God takes the sole initiative in covenant making and fulfillment. The covenant is established with us, and always with a provision attached.

    Deuteronomy 4:5-6
5 Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. 6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.

The word testament is akin to will, or covenant. We have a new covenant through the blood of Jesus.

    Hebrews 12:24
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

    Hebrews 13:20-21
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

God will always remember the covenant he has made with us.

  28. Masterpiece

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

I think of an artist painting a large mural in a highly visible place. The great expanse of the picture is not meant to be hidden but put on display to be seen. Likewise, God’s works paint a picture that is meant to declare His glory, not sit hidden away. I remember hearing in VBS today about how each of us are a masterpiece in the hand of God; we each have a testimony of what God has done and is doing for us. We should not hide it but let that light shine like a mural on display.

    Ephesians 2:10 NLT
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

    Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

  29. 3. His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Our God is always doing amazing things. There is no question about it, his righteousness is not just for a season, it endureth for ever.

  30. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Everyone that I know wants wisdom in some fashion. Maybe it is wisdom with their job, children, or money. Maybe it’s all of the above, but everyone wants wisdom. According to the Bible, wisdom begins withy the fear of God. We must honor and respect God if we ever want to have his wisdom.

  31. 2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have
    pleasure therein.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

The works of the lord is great.

  32. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments”. God (Jesus) provided then, and he provides today. As such it is not difficult for those that serve the Lord (Jesus) to see the blessings that are freely given by God. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen

  33. 7 All he does is just and good, and all his commandments are trustworthy.
🙂 What a mighty God we serve!

  34. Work…..we are his work, the work of his hand, and he does honor his children. He won’t forsake the work of his hand nor his holy covenant. He is very compassionate, and merciful, and he won’t forget us. We will be remembered……….

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.
    —————————————————————–
Fear is the beginning of wisdom not the end of it. So, keep searching for her and she will reward you in due season. Preaching to myself here, need to get some. Amen & Amen. But we must obtain underdstanding of God’s commands. We are to love God, with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our soul, with all our strength, and to love our neighbor as thy self. This is the greatest commandment. But the toughest is loving your enemies or the opposors of Christ Jesus. But we must……………..

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

    “Be Encouraged”…………………………………….

  35. 4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion.

Remember what The Lord has done for you. Given you all that you are and have. Without him we are nothing.

  36. Praise ye the Lord 1. PRAISE ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. 2. The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. 3. His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Ps. 145 : 4 4. He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. I AM VICTORIOUS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS !!!!
