Psalm 116
1 I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
19 In the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

The Lord is my friend, my Rock, & my Helper in the time of need. 8 cry at loud and he answers my prayer. THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS world That He can not fix; fir He is the Great Creator. THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOU DID NOT LEAVE ME ON THE LOW GROUND BUT PICKED ME UP AND PUT MY FEET IN YOUR SOLID ROCK.
vss.18-19 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people ,
In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem .
Praise ye the LORD.
If and when we courageously offer sacrifices of praise during times of sickness pains of hell , trouble , and sorrow, others will observe how our GREAT GOD IS ABLE to keep us through any storm.

OBEDIENCE, SACRIFICE AND PRAISE ………
WITH WHAT??? HE IS SOO WORTHY OF ALLLL, BUT WHAT ISN’T ALREADY HIS? HE CREATED THE HEAVENS, THE EARTH AND THE FULLNESS THEREOF.

6. The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Job 5:8-11 KJV
8. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
9. Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
10. Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
11. To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.
The pains of death surrounded me, And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. (Psalms 116:3 NKJV)
*I will always remember the words of prophet bro. Guy the words he spoke to me. In attempt to finally open my eyes. Let’s just say it lead me out of death and from losing my soul.
God knows I was dying and was just a waste of his time and oxygen. I was sinking. Didn’t want to be …anything.
For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling. I will walk before the LORD In the land of the living. (Psalms 116:8-9 NKJV)
*But The Lord gave me redemption…again. And I took advantage of it. Thank you lord for your love and grace. It was so unnecessary but you gave it anyways. Thank you. I will walk with you.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
No matter where you look, you will never find another like our God. His righteous is far above anything else. His grace is sufficient for all. I am so glad that I serve a God that can’t be broken, hidden or disassembled. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!!

Thank-You Lord for bringing rest to the body of Christ. We are refreshed in His Presence He has dealt bountifully with us…

19, “In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.”
These passages of scriptures made me think of Ps.100:4-5. “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto to him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting: and his truth endureth unto all generations.”
The LORD is Gracious!
The LORD is Righteous!
The LORD is Merciful!
The LORD is Good!
How can I not Love the Lord? I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! I THANK HIM so much for His GRACE, His MERCY, and His GOODNESS. When I call upon His name, He hears me and answers me. Our God is HOLY and RIGHTEOUS, and He deserves all Glory and Honor and Praise!! I will enter into His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with Praise. I will Bless His Holy name!

What shall I render…
What could I give to God that would even begin to pay Him back for all that he has done for me. How could I tell Him thank you for everything? What could I offer unto the Lord to repay him? My life. That’s what I can give Him! My life, my future, my time, my talent and my treasure. GOD I give you all off me.

9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
I will walk before the Lord, God wants us to walk before him,yes in the land of the living. We need to understand how important it is for us to walk with God as he leads us and directs our paths.
Our God will deliver us from whatever comes our way, but we must walk uprightly before him, Live for God like today is the last day we will live on this earth.
O LORD, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, born into your household; you have freed me from my chains. (Psalms 116:16 NLT)
By your mercy, I AM is alive in me! Thank you Jesus.
I could never repay God for His compassion, love, and forgiveness. I can offer up the best that I have yet it will never equal His acceptance of me and the price He paid for my sins.
“But let all such call upon the Lord to deliver their souls, and they will find him gracious and true to his promise. Neither ignorance nor guilt will hinder their salvation, when they put their trust in the Lord.”
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
Romans 7:21
Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
Micah 7:8
It’s not the fall and the get up that determines the future but the submission to the correction. I had a dear friend tell me yesterday “To be chosen by God is a blessing and a test.” Some we will pass and some we will not but the key is submission.

GOD has been, is and will be GOOD to those that follow, trust and obey HIM. We see this promise and witness this principal throughout the WORD of GOD and even in our current ENDTIME situations. As the children of PROMISE, we are BLESSED, MORE, MIGHTIER, INCREASED by the LORD our GOD. These are the benefits of being his.
The psalmist asks the question so many would choose to ignore. What can I give to the LORD for all of HIS GRACE and FAVOR (undeserved goodness) to me?
The CUP of SALVATION
Luke 22:17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
The CUP of HIS suffering.
WHY?
2Timothy 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
Too often we are tempted to run from a challenge or digress in hard times. Without testing we have no idea what we know. The LORD allows testing, trials, challenging times, pain, sorrow, loss, betrayal and other suffering situations to come to our lives, not to destroy us or to cause us to give up or quit on HIM. But to PROVE our FAITH is in HIM and not in us or this world or its resources.
If it is your turn to drink from the cup of salvation, remember what that cup represents, the suffering and salvation of the LORD. Don’t run from the challenge the LORD has brought you to; you are probably running from your SALVATION. HE alone is our SAVIOR and we must TRUST him FULLY with our past, present and future and HE KNOWS what we have need of.
Embrace your cup while calling upon HIS name. Lets choose to pay our vows while others are watching that in the process of saving ourselves we may inspire others to salvation.
The Apostle Paul prayed:
Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

How caring and loving is our God. To know that He hears our every prayer, our every thought, He knows it all! How great are You God!
Verse 10 in the AMP says “I believed (trusted in, relied on, and clung to my God), and therefore have I spoken [even when I said], I am greatly afflicted.” There is a song that my sister sings that I love that says “I lift my hands, even though I have a million problems. For when I do, my problems diminish and new strength You give me. All of this is possible when I lift up my hands.” Even when it feels like you just can’t hold on or you think your to far gone (which is a stinken lie from the devil), God is there. Right NOW that your reading these words, He’s there; trust him and allow Him in to save and deliver you. Verse 8 AMP says “For You have delivered my life from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling and falling.” No matter what you’ve done, thought, said or considered; God can and will deliver you, if you ask!

The time in my life right before Jesus found me was the lowest time of my life. I thank God that he Helped me, he saved me, he delivered me! I thank you Jesus. When nobody else wanted me you took me in, you cleaned me off and you healed me. Everyday I want to get closer to you. Make me whole Lord. You keep my heart from breaking my feet from tuning… Keep me right where you are Jesus I need you I love you

I surrender all, I surrender all, all to thee my blessed savior I surrender all.
I was wondering why he says “I am they servant” twice? Well I was sitting her thinking about it and maybe because we are all servants our of obligation to the fact He created us so we could worship “serve” Him. Yet, the writer looked inside himself a litter deeper, and realized I serve not out of obligation but with a willing heart.
That’s my prayer: Let everything I do be from a willing heart. Even when I don’t understand I want to be willing and teachable.

I can’t wait to see the miracle of The Lord. Good things are coming. God is reprogramming our mind with how we view resources. Let the righteous prosper.

for the blessings he’s poured out on me?
I’ll lift high the cup of salvation—a toast to God!

I’ll complete what I promised God I’d do,
and I’ll do it together with his people.
The question often rings in my heart, what do you give a God who has everything? I can give Him myself, a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto the Lord, I can complete the vows that I have to God and follow His commandments, live life according to His plans and purpose for my life. I can follow the mission and vision of our church body – POFW, to fulfill God’s will in the earth.

What can we offer? What price compares to salvation that He, the Lord alone paid the price of..? And sometimes we don’t feel like praising but even in those times, He loves us. Praise is a small but great price for the goodness of the Lord. He is good and daily fills us with benefits. I have never been left alone, or to suffer hunger, but He has taken care of me even when I seemed not to care about Him. He has heard my prayers, He has delivered me, and healed me…wow. Sometimes we forget all the good that the Lord has been to us. In the times of sorrow, he was there. Faithful and loving the Lord is always on my side. His correction shows how He loves and really wants to bless. I will keep on talking about the Lord, praising Him at my job, in the store, at home on the street. He is good and His mercy and grace bless me continually! Thank Lord! You alone, Jesus, are worthy to be praised!

What is a sacrifice of praise? It is when we don’t feel like worshiping God. And we do it. We shall call on God. And thank him for all he had done. He has blessed me. He has blessed our church. God is doing great and mighty things through pofw. Thank you Jesus that I can be apart of a great church.

When I think of what he has done for me, and then remember that he didn’t have to a lump comes up in my throat.
When I see the pit I used to live in, and the person I used to be I can’t help but thank him.
He is faithful, never changing, and always timely. He knows where I am, and what I am going through.

Salvation belongs unto our God. He has given unto us life more abundantly.
There tears of sadness has been taken away and I am able to stand upon his word which gives me hope.

Are you a servant of The Lord ?
To be a servant you must serve.

When we die to sin we are born unto him.
When we die to our own will we are born into his. God is just waiting on the death of carnality so that his Spirit can rule in our lives. Let us separate ourselves from this world so that we are separate to him. Our worldly death is our spiritual birth.

Why would a death be precious?
If you are someone who seeks after The Lord and brings glory to His name here on earth, how much better would it be if they were parsing Him in His eturnal presence? It is precious to Him because he cares so much for all of His people. If we constantly bring glory to Him we will gather more saints into the kingdom so he can gather more precious saints.
The LORD protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me. Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. (Psalms 116:6-8 NLT)
Where can I go when storms surround me
From all sides beaten down
Rough mountain ahead I have to climb
Lord I don’t have strength this time
Find rest my soul in Christ alone…..
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NLT)

I thank God for his love and his mercy. He loves me even when I don’t deserve it. Lord you are righteous, lead me and guide me to do your Holy will.
Precious
Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
We are not just little specks to God but He knows each of us very well and cares for us individually. In the middle of a difficult trial, the poverty mentality would try to creep in and say “oh God doesn’t care for me, He doesn’t think I’m worth saving.” But His Word says He doesn’t take it lightly when His saints die. Recently on my way to church, I was driving down Silver Saddle when a few little birds that were on the road decided too late it was time to fly away as my car approached. I could see in the rear view that I had hit one and it was laying in the road dying. It broke my heart to see the helpless little bird laying there suffering, knowing it would die. At that moment, I felt God remind me of a passage:
Matthew 10:29-31 NLT
What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.
I felt like He asked, “if it hurt you so much to see that little bird fall, then how much more do I care when I see you suffering?” No matter how dark the storm, we can stand on God’s Word that He loves us and we are precious to Him.

When we humble ourselves, we position ourselves so that we might take refuge in Him, and find the rest that our souls so desperately need.
He is our refuge, our strong tower. He is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, but have you ever wandered why He is only the Prince of Peace? It’s because He only brings peace when we allow Him to be our peace.
Although we face storms, as long as we seek Him, He will bring us through. He has made us more than over-comers. He has made us victorious.
Psalm 116:18,19
I’ll complete what I promised God I’d do, and I’ll do it in company with his people, In the place of worship, in God’s house, in Jerusalem, God’s city.

Jesus is my Master, and I’m his servant/son, and he will & has loosed my bonds. I will give him praise, in which my God is in the mist of. I will shout his name, I will whisper his name too. Yes, it might take my a while. But, I will pay my vows too. As, the Lord increases the seed to this sower as well. Expecting multiplication not subtraction, a mighty increase in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus is my praise, without him, I’m nothing. But, with him an Heir in Christ Jesus, and my God isn’t broke! He could give a few of those gold bars off them streets at home. If, he willed it!
