Psalm 142

1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

  1. 5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

What a beautiful prayer. I can’t understand when people say they don’t know how to pray. Open your Bibles and you will find beautiful examples for your every need. I am marking this prayer in my Bible for the times that seem like troubles don’t want to leave my path, and the adversary seem to be trowing his sticks and stone constantly at me. Yes, we all got those kind of days. Thank You Jesus for ALWAYS providing what we need, for ALWAYS answering our request (although we seem to ignore Him when He says not yet), and for ALWAYS knowing what is best for us. Praise the name of the Lord!!!!

  2. I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. -Psalms 142:1

Make your request unto the Lord.

Friends and family can only do so much. Only the Lord can make a real difference.

I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. -Psalms 142:2

Musing – absorbed in thought; meditative.
    —noun. contemplation; reflection.

Stop talking about your troubles. Stoping musing about what you perceive as trouble. He knew you would be here before your were born.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. -Psalms 142:3

Trust the Lord in the paths of life. He will guide around the traps that our enemy has set up for us

  3. Psa 142:3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

David was running for his life as he was pursued by Saul. He made this statement that troubles my spirit. David said, when my spirit was overwhelmed within me.

Life will always bring challenges to us everyday! What we do with those challenges and how we react to them will tell us where we are with our spirit. Yes, the enemy is out there looking or should we say seeking for a chance to catch us in his snare.

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The adversary, the devil, is seeking whom he may devour. Everyday he is there following and seeking for a chance to slip into our lives and see if we will fall.

I am not implying that we should be afraid, but alert and aware of our surroundings. BE SOBER AND VIGILANT If I do not take precaution of my situation and look at my surroundings, who will?
Never go up to your vehicle and not look inside to see if someone is waiting for you in a mall parking lot. Just good advise!

I see people everyday talking on the phone walking around preoccupied, not looking at their surroundings and understanding where they are and walk into other people. These things DO NOT happen if we are aware of our surroundings.

David understanding this cried unto the Lord!
1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.
2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

Once again David prayed with SUPPLICATION, nothing will replace intense prayer in our lives!
God help us get back to you through INTENSE PRAYER!!!!!!!

  4. JESUS!!!
4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Reminds me of when I was in other churches, and was not preached the TRUTH!!! (THEY DID NOT CARE ENOUGH FOR MY SOUL TO REALLY SEARCH OUT THE SCRIPTURES AND TELL ME THE TRUTH). I CRIED OUT TO GOD CAUSE I KNEW THERE WAS MORE …………… I FELT THERE WAS MORE AND I CRIED OUT TO GOD AND HE MADE A WAY,
GOD SENT ME TO POFW AND I CAN SAY THAT THERE IS A MAN THAT CARES FOR MY SOUL!!! GOD IS GOOD!!! HALELUJAH THANK YOU DADDY!!! YOU ARE SO FAITHFUL!!!

  5. 1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul

In this it tell us give our troubles to the Lord. That he is the one that can help you. Dont depend on man for the help you need. Man will let you down but God never will.

  6. 6. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

    7. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

No matter how bad it seems or where you are at the time, know that God will not leave you there. You are to go through that place to get to where God wants you to be; don’t give up before your deliverance, He shall deal bountifully with you!

  7. Amen acts 2:38
then peter said unto thim repent and be baptized in the name of jesus
and they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

  8. Ps. 142:1-5
“I CRIED unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me; refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.”

This made me think of a couple of other passages of scriptures.
Ps.61:1-3 says, “HEAR my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.”
Ps. 46:1 says, “GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

When life seems overwhelming and full of trouble, and when it seems like all of our friends have left us, REMEMBER: JESUS is the ROCK! He is our REFUGE, our HELP, our STRENGTH, and our HIGH TOWER. His word tells us in Heb.13:5b-6, “… for he hath said, I will NEVER leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may bodly say, The LORD is my HELPER, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

I am so Thankful to know, that when I cry out in JESUS name, He is always there. He will hear me and be a REFUGE for me in my time of need. Thank You, JESUS!

  9. When no one else cares for us and our troubles, God will always be there for us. We must build a relationship with him and follow his commands and he will hear our cries.

  10. Psalm 142

Caves make good closets for prayer; their gloom and solitude are helpful to the exercise of devotion.
Had David prayed as much in his palace as he did in his cave, he might never have fallen into the act which brought such misery upon his later days.

  11. Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. (‭Psalms‬ ‭142‬:‭5‬ NLT)

There is an appointed time in everyone’s life where you truly can express yourself unto The Lord. HE IS all you really need, and want in your life!!!
Yes The Lord places brothers and sisters to encourage you, and believe me I’m so thankful for having them taking part in my life! But, in all reality I know that my strength, peace, and joy, comes from Him. OH MY GOD…… I could never ever imagine my life with out you!! You’ve have seen me thus far, and my victories are in you!! I have been truly blessed beyond measure!

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭13‬ KJV)

  12. Bring me out of prison so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me, for you are good to me.” (‭Psalms‬ ‭142‬:‭7‬ NLT)

God is good to me ! You don’t like I know what he’s done for. Thank you Jesus

  13. The power of speaking. 1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication. Hearing the words of our prayers is important. We have heard too many times to count to open our mouths and pray. There is more reasoning for this other than just making noise. It reinforces our faith in what we are praying about. Romans 10:17 is the verse that backs this up. The KJV: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The Revised English Bible: “So then faith does come from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” This helps to show that this verse is a concluding statement, an appeal to believe the facts and the logical reasoning that preceded it. Phillips’ Translation: “Belief, you see, can only come from hearing the message, and the message is the word of Christ.” Moffat: “You see, faith must come from what is heard, and what is heard comes from the word of Christ.”

Each of these translations validates and explains the need for us as humans to hear prayer. Whether these prayers are our own or fellow Christians; the conversation between us and God is crucial. Never has mankind lived in a time when powerful and frequent communication is so easily available and seemingly limitless in quantity. Radio, television, the Internet, movies, cell phones, iPads, etc., assault our eyes and ears almost incessantly. Mathew 4:4 states “…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” KJV.

Another cliché comes to mind; “we have two ears versus one mouth”. I have learned that when I truly want to retain information I need a quite space and read aloud. The reinforcement of hearing the words while reading them helps me process the text. I am and have been described as auditory learner. I need to hear things to really process the ideas being presented. I have learned when left to my own for study that I talk/read to myself. When I was younger my grandfather would ask me “Who are you talking to”. Looking back now, maybe he was worried for my mental health. Children who talk to themselves are not an uncommon phenomenon. However, when children start arguing with themselves, they might need to see a professional.

  14. As We have been reading psalms. The same thought has come up. David was human just like the rest of us. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Yet many times we think well David was a man after Gods own heart, so we can’t be like that. How unfortunate for us that we think that. David made mistakes, he went through tests and trials, yet through it all he had a repentive heart. He praised God Almighty. He loved God so much. It should be a testiment to Gods mercy and grace. Be blessed. Know that God loves you. He died for you.

  15. Sweet hour of prayer

    1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice;
with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.
    2 I poured out my complaint before him;
I shewed before him my trouble.
    (Psalms 142:1-2 KJVStrongs)

The words hear show much emotion, and determination to get ahold of God.

He is saying I shrieked, screamed, and called out with a Loud voice to the Lord seeking his favor, and humbling myself before him that he would answer my request.

I let him know everything that I have been going through. I converse, utter, complain, meditate, pray, and speak to God about all my troubles, challenges, distress, anguish, tribulation.

We used to sing an old song about talking to Jesus. It says

I may have doubt and fears, my eyes be filled with tears, but Jesus is a friend that watches day and night. I go to him in prayer, he knows my every care, and just a little talk with Jesus makes it right. Let us have a little talk with Jesus, tell him all about our troubles, he will hear our faintest cry, and he will answer by and by, now when you feel a little prayer wheel turning, and you know a little fire is burning, you will find a little talk with jesus makes it right.

Instead of murdering, griping, complaining, and speaking evil about people, or things we should take it to the lord. He can handle it. And he has a way of given understanding to the situation, helping us to forgive, and revealing what we can do to help.

  16. 4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

This sounds so familliar.. thank you Jesus for loving me when I was your enemy, for saving me when I didn’t deserve it. Thank you for hearing me when I had no one else to cry out to but you, thank you for staying theree when everyone else had left me

  17. THE SOUL BREAKOUT

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

People in society are bound by the laws of sin and death. Prison bars surround thoughts, desires and intentions of life. The future of many is imprisoned by doubt, fear and unbelief. As we witness the psalmists PPP Personal Pity Party, we take courage at least in the fact that he knows what is required for him to see THE SOUL BREAKOUT of the prison. PRAISE.

People who are not active in demonstrating PRAISE to JESUS are bound in some area of their life. The guilt and death of sin incarcerates the soul and the fear of commitment or embarrassment paralyzes the soul to hinder the praise of the believer.

THE SOUL BREAKOUT begins when we choose to PRAISE the LORD JESUS, with unashamed passion and exalt HIS HOLY name.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  18. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

Sometimes it appears that we are alone, our heart overwhelmed and no man careth, but just like David crying out in the cave to the Lord, we too can find refuge in casting all our care upon the Lord. He will never leave us alone, and He careth for us.

As we discovered a few chapters ago, He knows our down sitting and our uprising, and is aware of everything we face. The challenge we face is not staying in the distressed state of “overwhelmed.” We must look to the hills from whence cometh our help, put on the garment of praise and praise our way through.

  19. 4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Thank God he saves us from all of trouble, not just the physical needs that we need in everyday life, but also our spiritual needs. The needs that are in our souls. What things are keeping your soul in trouble? What things are keeping you from living righteously for God and drawing yourself closer to him?

Sometimes we try to man or earthly material things when we feel an emptiness inside our soul, but the bible says that we should be running to God.

In the old testament in the Pentateuch, or the first five books of the bible, it talks about a “city of refuge” for anyone who has accidentally killed a person. That they need to run this city to protect themselves from those people who want to avenge a person’s death. And when he goes into that city, he needs to stay in that city, for if he were to go outside the city, there is no protection for him, for he might walk into the hands of the “slayer”.

Remember to keep God as your refuge, and don’t walk out of his city, for there is trouble waiting for you outside his walls.

  20. Why do we always find ourselves at the lowest part of our lives. When we decide to look to God for help.
We think now one is there nobody cares for you. Your alone. We are broken. We know he is always there for us to take the weight off our shoulders.
That’s when we decide to look to God.

But if we would had always stayed kingdom minded we would never found ourselves in such a low place.

  21. This verse explains perfectly what I did before coming to POFW because I felt like I was dying spiritually inside. I knew there a lot more than just going Wednesdays and Sundays to church. I wanted more of him because I knew there was MORE! I cried out to him telling him what I didn’t want and asking for MORE!!!!! The moment we stepped into POFW I knew it was what I had cried out for! GOD IS GOOD AND I GIVE HIM ALL THE HONOR AND PRAISE!!! There sure is a man who cares not only for my soul but everybody’s souls. I was bound but I was brought out of prison!!!!!! 🙂 HALLELUJAH!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!! ALL MY TRUST IS IN YOU!!! 🙂

  22. 6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Sometimes God has to bring you thorough some situations to get you where you need to be but God is still there he will never leave you not forsake you.

  23. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

He knows where we are & what is happening to us. Each day he allows or approves the trial to come our way to shape us, to mold us or even to prepare us for what he knows is coming our way. Rather than grumble & complain about today, help us Lord to seek understanding…to see if if this is just life or whether you have a purpose for the trial. As we weather the storms of life, we should follow David’s example and pray this prayer in faith that he is our help. My help cometh from the Lord!

  24. Illusion in dark places

    Psalms 142:4
    Look to the right and see;
    For there is no one who regards me;
    There is no escape for me;
No one cares for my soul.

It is common for us to start thinking things that are not true during persecution. David had men with him who would die with him in the cave. Surely, they had concern for his soul. We must remember there are people who care and people who love God even when we feel like we are the only ones. There was a remnant in the mountains when Elijah was under the juniper tree.

There is an army of saints awaiting for the call and awaiting to answer it. Stir up the gift within us.

  25. 5 Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. (NLT)

You’re all I want and all I need, in my time of trouble I lift my eyes to You.

  26. iLove to eat the Word

1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

This verse reminds me of the way I felt taking Selah to her first day of Kindergarten this morning.

    Lord have mercy. 🙂

  27. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

A soul that is in prison can’t praise. We need to breakout our spirits from prison. If our own souls are locked up then we can’t lead hungry people to free their souls. If our souls are free then it doesn’t matter what we go through physically, we can be locked up like Paul and Silas and still sing Gods praises because our soul is free.

  28. 5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Jesus is my refuge and my strength.

  29. I cry out to the LORD; NLT. 1. I cry out to the LORD; I plead for the LORD’s mercy. 2. I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. 3. When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. Wherever I go, my enemies have set traps for me. 4. I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me. 5. Then I pray to you, O LORD. I say ” You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life. 6. Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. 7. Bring me out of prison so I can thank you. The godly will crowd around me, for you are good to me. ” I AM VICTORIOUS!!!!!! Don’t look to man to help you he won’t he will fail you, Look to your only Hope who is Jesus!!!!! Jesus will never fail you!!!! When your feeling low cry out to him!!!! When your enemies are after you he will hide you!!!! So praise him in all things good, and bad and bless is Holy name Jesus!!!! In times and troubles call out to Jesus He is the only one that will hear you.

  30. NLT 4 I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.

The feeling that no one cares about your troubles. He looks to his right for immediate help. Why the right? The rights indicates the power of respect, authority and honor. We should always look for God towards that direction. Looking to the left shows our disobediance, lack of faith, and turning our back towards God. Lord let me always feel your presence before me!

Psalms 8 I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

  31. When you feel like no one cares, God cares. He is there through your struggles. I pray that I can give God all my struggles. I will have this prayer in my heart.

  32. Psalm 142:5
Then I pray to you, O Lord.I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.

This reminded me of the song “Wrap Me in Your Arms”.  Only in His arms is where I find my place of refuge, a resting place.  Away from all problems, society, and chaos, I find refuge in being with The Lord.  The Lord is my protector, my deliverer, the Lord is mighty in battle, He will deliver me.

    Psalm 34:19King James Version (KJV)

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

“There is a God who loves me
Who wraps me in His arms
That is the place where I’m changed
    And that’s where I belong

Take me to that place Lord
    To that secret place where
    I can be with you
You can make me like you
    Wrap me in your arms
    Wrap me in your arms
    Wrap me in your arms.”

  33. “Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about”. All though one may feel all alone at times, one will find the Lord (Jesus) is there, and the righteous can be found. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  34. 1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

    Thank you Jesus
For everything you have and are doing Lord we love and praise your name

  35. This helps me to remember when I feel alone and by myself , God is with me and he will always come to my rescue.

  36. 5 Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, “You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.
Lord you are all I want in life. Fix my eyes on you so I can follow you God! Lord give me a hunger for you! 🙂

  37. The cry to the roar

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

I have felt like this in my life. Defeated and trodden down in a place of ultimate sorrow. I used every excuse to justify my attitude and rebellious lifestyle. The truth was is that someone hurt me. There has always been a no giving up policy in my mind and my spirit so I never stayed in my loathing long. My tears would turn to anger then my anger would turn to purpose. I will get up. I will win. This process was continually in my spirit until I found a way to cry out to The Lord. When I crude he answered. When he answered it have me strength. When my strength had come I realized that the answer was always in him and I didn’t have to rely in my strength but in his. Now it’s a different process. When the low times come I can see them coming from a distance and prepare a roar of victory. I cry to God for my help then I roar with him as we fight together.

    Isaiah 40
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see [it] together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].

Every cry unto The Lord should end in a roar of victory!

    I am victorious!!

  38. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Too many people are trapped in prison. A prison of the mind. The devil knows that if he can keep you there, he’s got control over you. God wants to do a prison break on the hearts and minds of those who are bound by the enemy. There is truth revealed in freedom.

  39. Now Faith

    Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

No matter the situation, that is where God can meet us with salvation. Our now situation is opportunity for now faith to operate. In the middle of what we’re going through, in the operation of our faith we build a platform for God to be our now Savior in our life.

    Psalm 121:1-2
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

  40. This chapter ends in the MSG saying “Your people will form a circle around me and you’ll bring me showers of blessing!” This reminds me of our church back in Wichita, Kansas. They have altar prayers from the moment church begins throughout the service. If you need prayer for anything, you go up to the front and before you know it there is a huge crowd of people around you, praying for your need.

  41. I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

He is my hiding place and my substance. What joy it is to know God in such an intament way.

  42. 2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
God hears and knows our complaints. He sees how the enemy is trying to overcome
Us and lay a snare for us and he is protecting us. The bible says we should cast all our care upon him for he cares for us. If we cast our cares on him he will keep us.

  43. 1 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

Yesterday as my children and I were having family prayer, I found myself telling one of my children to speak up. One child was using very clear words. Her prayers were not as well thought through as an adult, but she is 4, what do you expect? Another was praying in his “whisper voice.” The last one was not really making any sounds. I told the quietest on that even though Jesus knows what we are thinking that it is still important for us to tell him what we mean in audible words. I know this is not a new concept, but his face looked like I told him something he never heard.

As adults we need to be mindful of this same principle. We need to use our word because we have enough to talk to others do we have plenty to explain our thoughts to God (and if we don’t know how we can use the Holy Ghost). Yes he knows our thoughts, but sometimes we need to examine them for ourselves and when we speak it out it gives what we are praying for life.

    Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Keep praying. Keep reading. JESUS keep stirring up the fire because JESUS, today YOU will save ME!

  44. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Through out the many prisons of life’s situations that we find our selves many times, it seems that David understands that praise shouldn’t just be just be done while we are bound and in prison but but also in times when we are free of bondage.

I Thessalonians 5:18 – In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

  45. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Praise god name and your soul will be out of prison and free from evil that bound you.

  46. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

Through all the stresses of life and heartaches to follow I know my God is with me. He is the one I turn my heart to when my spirit is in need of strength. Lean on God ..

  47. Ever felt like you are going no where? Or like you have been locked up or stuck? Here is a word on this and let’s praise his name……..results will follow.

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

    “Be free”……………………

  48. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul

  49. v7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Our deliverance starts with a cry and ends with our praise.
” YOU have turned my mourning
    Into dancing”
