Psalm 143

1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

  1. 6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

I love to hear prayers like this. It reminds me of what Pastor Watts says to pray for, hunger for God. I’m starting to understand how important this is, most of the time when I pray I feel like I’m treating God more like genie that any thing, I want this I want that, or even giving God advise on how He should deal with my problems.

I challenge my self to change all that and just ask for more passion and hunger and love for the lost. My life has ever been changing. Praise Jesus!

  2. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness

I pray that my heart listens to what God teaches me. Was talking to a gentleman yesterday about the miricles that God has done in our church, but that if we would really open our hearts and minds to what the Lord is teaching us there would be nothing impossible. Faith moves mountains.

  3. Do not sit in judgment on your servant, for no one alive is innocent before you. -Psalms 143:2NET

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: -Romans 3:10

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: -Ephesians 2:8

Thank God this morning for his wonderful grace towards us!

I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. -Psalms 143:6

My soul thirsteth after you this morning I long for thee. What can things of this world do to satisfy?

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. -Psalms 42:1

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? -Psalms 42:2

Nothing but the Spirit of the Lord can quench the thirsting within the soul of man.

  4. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

What a powerful prayer that shows hunger and submission. Submission is the way out of the dry place to a land of uprightnedss. His will trumps mine any day.

  5. YES LORD,
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

HALELUJAH!!! JUST LIKE THIS VERSE ………..
HALELUJAH!!! IF AND WHEN WE ARE TO EVER WALK IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO START.
    I PRAISE YOU JESUS.
    THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU!!!
    I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!

  6. 8. Each morning let me learn more about your love because I trust you. I come to you in prayer, asking for your guidance. CEV.

Each morning…I can’t let a day go by without talking to God; I never get tired of learning about His love and I will always need His guidance.

  7. 5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.

When I was a backslider I was so angry with God; but then, once in a while, I will miss my church, my time with God, & fun with my church family. Immediately the adversary reminded me that going back will be like accepting I was wrong and my pride would always get the best of me. Well, dah I WAS WRONG. I wish other people could learn from the mistakes of others, but it does not seem to be that way, even with me sharing my testimony. I guess individuals need to run into their own walls to realize there is no door. Today I pray for ALL of those that have left to go have “fun” in the world May they remember the times they spent meditating on His word and yern to be in the Glory of His presence. Put me in their path and do not allow me to walk passed them without sharing my Jesus with them. Thank you Jesus! IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

  8. 8 Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

We know God is a loving God, but I need to hear his loving kindness! David was in such distress at this time in his life, he was fleeing for his life from Saul.
David prays God I trust in thee, but finds himself fleeing for his life. Saul had such an hatred of David, because he knew God had took the kingdom from him and was giving the kingdom to David.
We find David pleading with God for understanding. Remember David did not ask for this he was only trying to obey God and his burden. David even ask God to hide him from his enemies.
Sometimes in life we will feel so stressed out with all the things going on around us, we just want to drop out of sight. Who would have thought I am in such a stressful place and look who my enemy is. David’s enemy was a man he loved, God’s anointed Saul, of course we all know Saul had failed. David though still had the right spirit in his heart and such respect for Saul he could not hurt him.
David did the only thing he knew to do was flee from him and let God work for him.

The quickest way I know to get in trouble with God is disrespect, not show the proper respect to God;s man. There should always be a fear in our heart for this area. The word makes very plain that there should be respect for The Man of God in our life. If we do not look at The Man of God with proper respect, how can he help us?
One of the greatest problems the children of Israeli had in leaving Egypt was proper respect and if you will study you will see why they wandered in the wilderness 40 years. Not having proper respect for God’s man will leaving you wandering in the wilderness for a long time. Disoriented without clear direction!

God help me never to stray from God’s plan and not see who I am!
God bless Pastor and Sister Watts everyday, Please Don’t give up on ME!

  9. iLove to eat the Word

    Don’t Be a Hater

(Psa 143:3) For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

    enemy H341
    אוֹיֵב אֹיֵב
    ‘ôyêb ‘ôyêb
    o-yabe’, o-yabe’
Active participle of H340; hating; an adversary: – enemy, foe.
    Total KJV occurrences: 282

Here it is, just in case we didn’t know that the enemy really hated us. He is a hater and all those who hate are our enemies. Pretty clear. Let’s love one another and leave the hater-aide on the devils shelf.

  10. Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

  11. Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. (‭Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭8‬ NLT)

In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant. (‭Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭12‬ NLT)

Thank you God for your love ,it helps me. God I trust you.

  12. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Thank you Jesus for redeeming us, for though we stumble, you pick us back up again. And as long we keep our eyes on you, you help teach us your will and lead us down your path to righteous in Jesus name

  13. 7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Show me lord what you would have me to do, how you would have me to live, and who you would have me to be. Show me in your word and your love. I trust you Jesus I love you Jesus

  14. God asks for simple obedience. Many times it’s easier said than done. We (I) don’t listen because we (I) believe we (I) have a better plan. How foolish to believe that we (I) know better than the one who created everything. When we fall from our plan we (I) realize that following what we (I) wanted was unwise. No matter how many times I hear it said, there’s still a flesh that wants to do what it wants. I fall and trip over the flesh but it’s when I rise with God that I can overcome and give myself fully to God. I may fall and trip but still I rise with God!

Thank you Jesus for your patience and undying love! I would be nowhere without you.

  15. 9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

This will continually be my pray everyday and every night. I want your will to be done and no ones else. This world is pointless with out you. You are the God the created all things. I need your will done! I’m here to do your will.

  16. Lord please help me to hear your voice more often to lift my soal up unto you that I can live a rightous life in your name. In Jesus name our faith be in our hearts on this path

  17. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. For the glory of your name, O LORD, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress. In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant. (‭Psalms‬ ‭143‬:‭10-12‬ NLT)

But I place my confidence in you. This is my prayer for the rest of my days here on earth. You are my God, you are my ruler I give you authority to teach me, to guide me, to quicken me, to heal me and to save me.

  18. A STUDENT FOR LIFE

10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

I have often consider what would be the state of my soil if I had stopped seeking to know GOD and desiring to possess more knowledge of HIM. It is dangerous for us to think that we have arrived at a place that we are not hungry for MORE of JESUS, it is even more dangerous to think that we have matured enough that we don’t need to be taught.

It has been a practice of mine for over 20 years to keep myself challenged by attending meetings and conferences that will challenge me and teach me to know, understand and do the will of GOD. The psalmist illustrates a wise prayer here in verse 10. TEACH ME to do THY will.

    The example of our savior compels us to utter these words daily;

Luke 22:40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Daily we are presented with opportunities to choose to between good and evil, right and wrong, my will or GOD’s will. TEACH ME LORD!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGIve
    iReap

  19. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

    Prayer, Word, Listen.

When we pray God will answer. When we read His word. We find answers. When we listen to his servant ,He will speak through them. To do God’s will means to trust Him whole heartedly. So do His will.

  20. 6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

I want more and more of you each day of my life Lord . I never want to go a day without receiving more of you!

  21. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Lord I always want your will in my life !

  22. 11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

It is a good prayer to pray. However, be prepared for the quickening. If we are struggling with certain issues and – here is the important part – realize we need His help to overcome; praying for the Lord to quicken our hearts at a precise moment is a great way to reach victory. I have had occasion to pray this pray. It works. Be prepared for His quickening. Sometimes it is subtle; other times if crashes down like a tornado. The key to the quickening prayer is to stay in a prayerful mind.

It is easy to allow ourselves to become consumed in our daily activities and allow our spiritual awareness to “take a nap”. I did this for years. In my mind, it was I needed to do to perform my job duties to my best ability. If there was time for prayer after, then I would pray. However, as I mature in my relationship with the Lord I have found the more I keep Him on my mind and allow Him to guide me through my work duties the more productive I am. For a person who is most comfortable when in control of situations, releasing that control and allowing the Lord to do what He does best is uncomfortable. The benefits outweigh the risk!!

I encourage you the pray the quickening prayer if you haven’t in a while. Prepare for the ride!!

  23. Right Now

7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

I can’t wait until Sunday to get a word from The Lord. The time that we live in calls for a right now prayer, and a right now answer. God understands the perils of our time right now better than we do. The fight between what seems to be good and evil, I can only imagine looks like a big chess board to God. When we pray for His intervention , He moves a piece. The more we pray the more he moves. If the corporate church would send up a right now prayer continually the hand of God would never cease to move in our favor. Right now prayers are the only prayers that work in right now situation.
Move speedily on our behalf God. We need you right now.

  24. 6, “I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.”
8, “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.”
10, “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”

Before we do anything, we need to start our day off with PRAYER and READING God’s Word. We need to seek his guidance for the day, so that we can know the way wherein we should walk, and he can teach us to do his will for that day. We need to hunger and thirst for God. We need to hunger and thirst for His Ways. We need to hunger and thirst for His Will to be done.
St. Matt. 5:6 says, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” When we hunger and thirst for God, he will lead us in His Ways, and he will teach us to do His Will.

  25. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

God is so merciful with us he just wants us to be righteous so we can be lead by his spirit. Thank you Jesus for another opportunity to be able to learn from you everyday. You have taught me to hunger more for you!!!! Hallelujah! Jesus! Keep me righteous so my soul could stay out of trouble! Let it be ONLY your will JESUS!!!!

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6

  26. 10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

We must be ever willing to listen for God’s will in our lives and then follow his direction. Some things in God’s will never change, but as for the direction of our lives, it can change. We must be willing to seek, hear AND obey his still small voice so that he can lead us where he knows we need to be.
    Jer 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (KJV)

  27. Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake!
For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
“REVIVE ME, O LORD.” We all face problems in our lives, the good thing is we have the power to choose, whether to allow our mind to linger in deep thought of the situation that we are currently facing, or simply allow THE LORD to take care of you, and place your situation into His Mighty hand!! Don’t allow your problem to drain you of life! When we allow for problems to stay around, we become way to comfortable with it, we begin to breathe it in our lives, we allow negativity, bitterness, hatred, depression, and that alone chokes the life that we have found in JESUS CHRIST. WOW!!!! Choose today to be REVIVED AND LIVE!!!!!!!

Jesus, TODAY, You WILL SAVE ME!!!!!

  28. Psalm 143:8
“Lord cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning, for in Him do I trust ; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You”.

David must have had a decision to make , for he says, “Cause me to know the way in which I should walk.” He went to the right source for wisdom: ” I lift up my soul to You.” He turned to God, his all-knowing , all wise heavenly Father.
Problems always look more manageable in the morning, don’t they? David knew the sun would eventually rise. But he didn’t just pray for morning to come quickly; he prayed that in the morning he would hear God’s loving, kind voice telling him what he should do. David must not have trusted his own judgment in the middle of the night because at that hour he knew he might not make a good decision.
At any rate, David intended to follow whatever advice God gave him, for he ended his prayer, in verse 12, with the phrase, “For I am Your servant.” He was ready to follow whatever plans God outlined for him.Maybe he’d be a tired servant, but he would be an obedient one.
May we find that same sense of peace and resolve the next time you’re awake in the middle of the night!

  29. 9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

    !!!THANK YOU JESUS!!!
For your merciful hands placed into our lifes your amazing grace the love you spread throughout our days when were troubled..the confirmation you bring to us when were wrong Lord we Love you Jesus we Thank You Lord For Everything.<3

Work through me Lord..Let them see you and not me

  30. 4 I sat there in despair, my spirit draining away, my heart heavy, like lead. 5 I remembered the old days, went over all you’ve done, pondered the ways you’ve worked, (MSG)
I was raised in a pentecostal church my dad was a preacher so i know what its like to be in church all my life. However, I also know what’s it like to turn my back on God. When I didn’t go to church I would still think about what am I missing, what’s going on?? When you are in the church and you leave you always think about church. That verse train up a child in the way he should go always went thru my mind.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. PROVERBS 22:6
I am so thankful for a loving and caring God that still loved me at my worst and loves me at my best. When you have been in the church and then go to the world its no fun, my desire is to make heaven my home one day. Yes we will struggle and slip and fall but the deal is to get back up and keep going. God is there to pick us up.

  31. 8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

I lift up my soul unto thee O Lord!!

  32. 6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

The imagery I see for this is a land ravaged with drought and absorbs every drop of water it gets. Our souls should hunger after God like a drought has hit. Absorbing everything God has for us, every word that comes through the pulpit, every verse, etc. we don’t need to wait until our souls are suffering from a drought of God in our lives but we can thirst after God like we are.

  33. Gods past faithfulness encourages David to call on the Lord to help against present enemies. He prays for God to act quickly not only to diliver him but also to teach David to do Gods will. For God to answer will bring honor to His name and be in character with his Great love.

  34. 8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. (KJV)

10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. (NLT)

“You lead, I’ll follow, Your hands hold my tomorrow. Your grip, Your grace, You know the way, You guide me tenderly. When you lead, I’ll follow. Just light the way and I’ll go, cause I know what you got for me is more then I can see.”

  35. Listen to my Plea!!11 7. Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit. 8. Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. Ps. 5 : 8 I am so thankful we have a GOD that cares, and will listen to our pleas !!!!

  36. “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God”. One that will pray this, will have victory. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  37. 11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake:
for thy righteousness ‘sake bring my soul out of trouble.
    (Psalms 143:11 KJVStrongs)

The word quicken means to make alive, and bring to life. It is the act of reviving, refreshing, and restoring.

This word may also mean “to bring to life” or “to cause to live”:“… I dwell… with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones” (Isa. 57:15)
    ( Vine’s)

Why does God want us quickened? For his name’s sake!

6 Wilt thou not revive us again:
that thy people may rejoice in thee
    (Psalms 85:6 KJVStrongs)

The quickest way to be quickened is through the holy ghost!

    5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;
    (Ephesians 2:5 KJVStrongs)

The greek word for quicken is from the word
g2227. ζωοποιέω zōopoieō; from the same as 2226 and 4160; to (re-) vitalize (literally or figuratively):— make alive, give life, quicken.
    AV (12)- quicken 9, give life 2, make alive 1;
to produce alive, begat or bear living young to cause to live, make alive, give life by spiritual power to arouse and invigorate to restore to life to give increase of life: thus of physical life of the spirit, quickening as respects the spirit, endued with new and greater powers of life metaph., of seeds quickened into life, i. e. germinating, springing up, growing
    ( STRONG)

Jesus meant what he said when he said in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

    We are inheritors of life!

  38. 5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Many times, we find ourselves looking back at what we used to get to do or see, and we long to get back to that point, and unfortunately many times don’t know how to get back. Hunger!

When we hunger for more Jesus, we find ourselves not only serving, but reading and praying and fasting and evangelizing. The more of any of these we do, the more we are going to want to do …

  39. Perfect Love

12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

At first it amazed me that after asking for mercy for himself, the psalmist turned around and asked for mercy to be withdrawn towards his enemies. Why ask for judgement when you yourself are in need of mercy? As he confessed in v2, “And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.” Then it hit me, his confidence was not based on his actions but upon Whose he was: “for I am thy servant.” Having the opportunity for relationship with God like this is amazing enough, but then to realize on top of that, He chose us and not the other way around…

    1 John 4:19
We love him, because he first loved us.

Truly as the previous verse in 1 John states, completeness in God’s love gives us a godly confidence and security in Him that casts out the fear the sin once invited in:

    1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

  40. Guidance in persecution

    Psalms 143:12
And in Your lovingkindness, cut off my enemies
And destroy all those who afflict my soul,
    For I am Your servant.

In 1943 the Jews experienced the holocaust. This psalm and the next two remind me of this tragedy.
Persecution was strong and they wanted to be delivered.

Today, Christians are being persecuted in the east. We need to remember how blessed we are and pray for those who are dying for the faith. I pray their faith fails them not and they honor the gospel with their sacrifice. The first century church found it to be an honor to die for their faith.

Let’s continue to pray for guidance in out nation as we see persecution of our first amendment. It says freedom of religion not freedom from it. We should be able to express it anywhere we please.

  41. 8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Sometimes I make many questions to myself trying to figure things out in life. In my own understanding I want to do what’s right and walk in a way that may please God. However it is only Him, my Lord Jesus, that can lead and direct my path.  “I” always end up falling short. I need Him.  I need Him so much.  I cannot even begin to listen to me. I am reminded of the word in proverbs:
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man,But its end is the way of death.
That is why I need Him to direct my path and order my steps.  I need to seek him in the morning, before anythingay affect my judgement and thinking, let me hear your voice Lord, let me hear thy words.  Direct my path and order my steps.  Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness let me know which way that I should go. I thank God for the words being preached and how He speaks to to me through the man of God and His servants that he had placed over my life to speak a word from The Lord,a message, a warning, direction…but more than that, cause me to hear thy Words, Oh Lord, and obey and thy lovingkindness shall lead me to repentance if so is needed, and to green pastures where I shall lie down and rest.  I pray Lord that you that I may be positioned where I can always hear form you…

Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He shall direct your paths.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feetAnd a light to my path.

  42. 6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Pray for the hunger. You will get the thirst.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ KJV)

After you thirst the work will come.

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. (‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭3-8‬ KJV)

We don’t always understand the why, but it works. The more we fill ourselves with HIM, the more we get to give out, the more people are reached.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬ KJV)

I’m going to look unto God for my strength not unto this of this world. God will deliver us

8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

  47. v2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

As soon as I surrender to God my enemies have no authority over me. I know that God’s work is supernatural. There is amazing power in the name of Jesus. The more I hunger for God, the more is revealed. It’s like my investment pays me with interest. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I can’t get enough of Jesus. I’m so grateful. I just wish my heart would be right when I am tired in body and spirit. I don’t EVER want to take my eyes off GOD. I do not like my flesh. It’s only purpose is to serve the Lord. For that I am grateful.:-)
