Psalm 146

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.

2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:

8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:

9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

We are a bleesed people that know the truth about who God is. And we should rejoice always . There is a song we used to sing all the time.
We’re a happy people yes we are ,
We’re a happy people yes we are,
    Been baptized in Jesus name
Spoke in tongues when the Holy Ghost came
We’re a happy people yes we are

  3. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. -Psalms 146:3

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: -Psalms 146:5

We live in a time that men put their trust in those that rule. The Lord alone is where our trust should be.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. -Proverbs 3:5

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3:6

Trust- reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
    confident expectation of something; hope.

  4. Praise the Lord for he created the heavens and the Earth and everything in it. How beautiful and majestic are the works of the Lord. He heals us, saves us and restores us in Jesus name!

  5. DONT WORRY, BE HAPPY

5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

Again we find a key to happiness, this key is knowing where our HELP comes from. Our HELP comes from where our HOPE is. We are HAPPY when we HOPE in the LORD JESUS. He alone made heaven and earth. HE alone made everything that is in the heavens, the earth and the sea.

Regardless of the realm of our need, the LORD GOD, JESUS is the LORD of that realm and is more than able to do EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY above all that we can ask or think. This makes me HAPPY to know that through the name of JESUS, my HELP comes, regardless of the origin of the need.

    Thank you JESUS.

  6. Psalm 146 This chapter begins and ends with Praise ye the Lord.
So lets Praise ye the Lord the beginning and the ending of each day, Hallelujah!!!

146:6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth forever:
Rev.14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

  7. 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Man or flesh can not help you in this day. We must know where our trust is located, if we trust the arm of flesh or the arm of God. Rank will not matter, princes will not help you in that day. Who we know will not help us, somebodies last name will not mean anything to God. We need to put our trust in the Lord, in whom can help us.

10 The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

We should always trust in Lord who reigns for ever, unto all generations.

    Crazy Praise
(Psalms 146:1) Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

    Praise #1984
    הָלַל
    hâlal
    haw-lal’
A primitive root; to be clear (originally of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence to make a show; to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively to celebrate; also to stultify: – (make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool (-ish, -ly), glory, give [light], be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, [sing, be worthy of] praise, rage, renowned, shine.
    Total KJV occurrences: 165

This Psalm is encouraging some outright crazy praise. “Be clamorously foolish” and to rave is as the following. Vocabulary.com describes “clamorously” as this.

“Clamorous means super loud and obnoxiously crying out. If you find yourself in the midst of a pack of clamorous groupies going nuts over a celebrity sighting, you’ll need to put your ear plugs in.
Clamorous comes from the Latin root clāmōr, meaning “shout.” If you’re a clamorous person, you’re not just loud, but you’re also kind of aggressive about it. Town hall meetings with touchy subjects on the agenda tend to be clamorous affairs, as do championship playoffs, arguments between siblings, and daytime talk shows.”

    BOOM! Let’s praise the Lord!

  9. Praise the LORD! Let all that I am praise the LORD. I will praise the LORD as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. (‭Psalms‬ ‭146‬:‭1-2‬ NLT)
As I praise The Lord, it is my desire to worship in spirit and in truth. For who He is, to give Him all Glory and Honor that is due unto His Holy Name!!!!
As I praise and worship Him, it gives me strength, it brings me peace, it gives me the victory over the enemy, and victory over any trial that I face.

HALLELUJAH TO THE KING OF kings!!!!

  10. 5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

Hope means-a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

Just as a child on their birthday hopes to get whatever they asked for. So must we have the hope in God. But not just things of what we ask for but just the simple needs and relationship with Him. So how is it that many people don’t have hope. The feelings for hope has been adulterated by lies and deceit. We’ve been hurt by many broken promises that when true hope comes in. All we can think is how the situation that would help us, would somehow turn around and hurt us. In Heb. 11:1″Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ” So first we must hope then we get faith. In James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” So first we must have hope. Hope=faith+works=existence of the things hoped for. The only hope of this world is Jesus Christ.

  11. I will sing praises to the Lord forever, in Him I trust. When I am sick, when I am weary, when I am hungry, when I am in a low place, there is no one on this earth who can help me. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help. whose hope is in the Lord God. Hallelujah!

  12. 2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Let everything that hath breath praise The Lord! I’m going to praise The Lord with everything I am while I have a chance to.

  13. 3. Si not pur your trust in princess,
Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

I will choose put my trust in God, the maker
    Of heaven and earth.
    Who keeps true forever.
    Alleluia!

  14. 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Who or what do you put your trust in? People in power get caught all the time lying about something , or the earthly things that we put our trust in at times tear up and have to be fixed so we can not depend on them, but I serve a God that does not lie or quit working when things get rough. I am going to put my trust in a God that never fails and is always there when He sees that I need Him!
Thank you Lord, my trust is in you !

  15. Vs.5, “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”

    BE HAPPY!
We can BE HAPPY because God is our Help, and our Hope is in Him.

  16. “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” There are many in power that claim they can do many things, which some could happen. However one can rest assured if God (Jesus) said it, it shall happen. As such one would be wise to trust the word of God and the man of God, first. What a mighty God we serve, thank God for his word! God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  17. Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. (‭Psalms‬ ‭146‬:‭3‬ NLT)

I only trust God because he lives 4ever.

  18. 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Knowing our help comes from the Lord creates a happines that this world just cannot give! Sometimes we may have a friend or family member that can help us but then there are times that unless God is our help, there is nothing. Man cannot heal all manner of disease nor can he save from sin. But if I trust in the great I Am, creator of heaven and earth, then I know all my needs can be met when man fails.
2 Chron 9:7 Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

  19. 5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

If there was anyone or anything to ever trust in, it would be Jesus. If a person has to have surgery, they want someone from the top of their class, not the flunky, who doesn’t know the difference between their foot and their face. So whit that thought, why would anyone settle for trusting in any less than the KING OF KINGS, and the LORD OF LORDS, the one and only creator of the entire universe, JESUS.

  20. YES!!!
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

HAPPINESS should be evident in our lives.
Happy is one of the benefits of serving THE ONLY LIVING GOD!!!
DOESN’T MATTER THE SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCES, WE SHOULD ALWAYS FIND THE POSITIVE.
    HALELUJAH!!! Thank you DADDY!!!

  21. 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Put your trust in The Lord. Man will fail you but God will not fail. Im thankful for God’s faithfulness. On what or whom can men hope in if not the The Lord? Like the psalm says. I will lift mine eyes into the heavens from whence comes my help…from The Lord.

Psalm 20:7-9 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.

  22. Who do you turn to?

    Psalms 146:3-5 (KJV Strong’s)
3 Put not your trust in princes,
nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
    4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth;
in that very day his thoughts perish.
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help,
whose hope is in the Lord his God:

The word princes means nobles, or could even mean rulers. In an age where government programs abound it is easy to become susceptible to an entitlement mentality.

Food, healthcare, phones, houses, and bills can all be paid for with taxpayer money for qualifying individuals.

Yet having things given, and provided for by the government causes severe chaos if the systems are ever removed.

We must put our reliance, and trust in God, and only God to provide for us.

Helps are good, but we should never think we are entitled to that help.

    Proverbs 3:5 (KJV Strong’s)
    5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.

  23. 2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

As long as I have breath, a heart beat and brain activity I will praise The Lord!!!

  24. 5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

5 Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is he who has the God of [special revelation to] Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, Who keeps truth and is faithful forever, (AMP)

Thank you Jesus because you are truth and forever faithful. Your love is so AMZING that it can not be described! Your my deliver, my savior, the Alpha & Omega! IN YOU I TRUST JESUS!!!!

  25. 10. The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

We serve an eternal God! He shall reign for ever. Sometimes, it’s hard for our minds to grasp; we are so attached to time, but our eternal God isn’t restricted by time. He will be King after time is no more…Praise ye the Lord!

  26. 9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

And this is why we outreach:
“The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow”

When was the last time you made a difference in the life if someone? When is the last time to witnessed to one of these? When is the next time you will go?

  27. 7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed:
    ( he is my judge)
which giveth food to the hungry.
( he is my provider )
    The Lord looseth the prisoners:
    ( he is my freedom)

8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
    (He is my healer)
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
    ( he is my encourager)
    the Lord loveth the righteous:
    ( he is my reward)

    9 The Lord preserveth the strangers;
( he is my refuge )
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
    (He is my source)
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
    ( he is my defense)

10 The Lord shall reign for ever,
    ( he is eternal)
even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.

If we look close enough God is everything but he has only one name.

    Jesus

  28. 2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

now is the time to praise God! Don’t wait until your sick! Don’t wait till your on your deathbed! Don’t wait until all Hades has broke loose in your life! Praise God right now while you have your being!

  29. 3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Our help is not found in any man. No matter the persons title or position. Whether they be of royalty, government, or whom ever. God gave them the positions and can take it away just as easily. He is in control so any trust put in man is vanity but trust in God will not fail.

  30. HOPE!!! 1. PRAISE ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. Ps. 103 : 1 2. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. 3. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. Ps. 118 : 8 5. Happy is he that hath the God of Ja’-cob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: There is those words again help, happy, and hope . Those are 3 important words I AM VICTORIOUS!!!!

  31. Precious

    Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

The Lord takes care of His children. We are precious to Him and He does not take our suffering lightly. All the world may fail us but Jesus never will.

    Exodus 19:5
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

    Isaiah 43:4
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee…

    1 Peter 2:9
    But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

  32. Waiting to be loosed….to serve in another capacity.

7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:

    “Be free”………………………….

  33. 2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

We can not rely on other people, our trust MUST be in the Lord, therefore I will praise the Lord while I have being.

  34. 2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Reminds me of the song, This is the air I breathe. Every breathe that I take and every moment I’m awake, Lord have your way.
When we can get to a state where every that thing revolves around Jesus, from waking until we go to sleep, we can truly say, “I will praise the Lord at all time and His praise shall be continually in my mouth.”

  35. Praise From The Nation
We should come before HIM in a spirit of humility and reverence , rather than with expressive words alone.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iRejoice

  36. 5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: 6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: 7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners: 8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:
