Matthew 21

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

  1. Are you still waiting on Jesus, to flip the tables of your finances? Turn the tables “Jesus”, I pray, Amen. “Holy Anger, Jesus turn the tables on that Devil, it’s about time”, for your Church, Amen.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Faith can move mountains, we must rid ourselves of doubt and unbelief. It’s a killer, and has paralyzed people for long enough. “Believe & Receive”……….

This disease called unbelief or doubt, must be removed from God’s Church, because it has plagued us long enough. “We have better promises, with the New Covenant.” “We have the NAME, and the BLOOD!”

  2. 33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

Now, this what I love about the word of God! He is so awesome that His word is true today. ISIS is not only a terrorist grip but a religion. This is for them a holy war, they fight believing they will retire or win back “the fruit of the nation that was taken & given to the thrives & harlots because they believe” they broke their pride, humble themselves, and got baptized. The rejects of society were use in place of honor, this really angered the pharasees because they held themselves in arrogance above every one else. Rage, anger, are one of the enemy’s best tool because they are simple easy to keep feeding, to turn into unforgiveness-which in turn become division, and now your prayers don’t get answer because you must first FORGIVE, so doubt, unbelievers, lost of hope & Faith and you start claiming you just can’t feel Him, He left me & He said He never would!!!! I got news for you take a good look tarde yourself YOU MIGHT BE A PHARASEE!!!! Fear not the solution is easy “if my people shall humble themselves in prayer…FIRST RUN TO YOUR BROTHER ASK FOR FORGIVENESS WITH A REMORSEFUL HEART, THEN RUN TO THE ALTAR & REPENT FOR TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION NOW IS THE TIME. GOD IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!

  3. 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Pray for our nation that God doesn’t remove hisself from us. This country is getting so bad with disbelief and and satanic worship. But there is a harvest ready and waitng.

  4. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? -Matthew 21:10
And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. -Matthew 21:11

The question has resonated throughout time, “Who is this”? The one who made the heavens and the earth! The one who heal the sick and raised the dead! The one who we ought to worship!

There is something in the heart of every man & woman that desires to know who is the Lord!

He’s more than a prophet as some would say. He is my savior, my redeemer, my strong tower!

As he entered into the city he knew what was ahead of him yet he turned not aside from his destiny.

Lord I trust you! I know what is ahead and will not turn aside!

    In Jesus name!

  5. Go jump in the lake…
A term commonly used in past Southeastern vernacular, along with, ‘Go fly a kite’, or ‘Take a hike’, usually indicating that one’s presence was no longer needed or desired (the polite version)…apparently, Jesus started it:

    21. “…but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

Let’s build up our faith and tell our mountains (problems, issues, sickness, habits, obstacles, etc.) to go jump in the lake!

  6. iLove to eat the Word

14 “And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.”

This happened right after Jesus cast out the money changers and overthrew their tables. Jesus was mad, but the men found enough courage to ask for their miracle. Also, Jesus did not refuse to heal them, but he took the time to heal the ones that were broken. I’m not sure that there is any place in the bible that Jesus told the sick that he would not heal them.

Paul had a thorn in the flesh, however this thorn was a messenger from satan, not a sickness.

  7. GLORY, GLORY, GLORY, ALL HONOR AND PRAISE TO JESUS CHRIST!!!!! I’m holding on to HIS WORD, it’s truth, and it’s for me. I’m not believing the lies of satan!

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭21-22‬ KJV)

The Lord knows the battle that I’ve been facing these last couple of days, but, the Lord has seen me through. I’ve been deeply wounded, where I felt I couldn’t continue, feeling weak in the battle, but, I went to my GOD WHERE my help comes from, I asked of HIM, and HE GAVE. And I’m so thankful and blessed!!!!!!

JESUS, TODAY YOU WILL save me!!!!!

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

  8. Verse 10 MSG “As he made his entrance into Jerusalem, the whole city was shaken. Unnerved, people were asking, “What’s going on here? Who is this?” It’s time to shake up this city POFW. We can as verse 22 CEV says “If you have faith when you pray, you will be given whatever you ask for.”

  9. 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

My House shall be called a house of PRAYER!
Remember in the days of The law and the temple, one could not enter into the tabernacle with an infirmity. We see in verse 14 after Jesus has turned over the tables of the money changers, the blind and the lame came to the temple to see him. They were healed of their infirmities!
We should remember that God’s house is called a house of prayer.
What does the house of God mean to us?
A place of praise and worship, Sure it is.
A place of refuge, of course.
A place of comfort and peace. Sure
What makes this place (The House of God) all these places and more.
The fact that it is A House of Prayer! If you take prayer out of our lives and God’s house, we will be just like all other churches and all other people. We must have prayer alive and well in our church and homes!
Yes we need to chase out all the things that are not right, but prayer will run them out of our lives!

  10. 12 Jesus went straight to the Temple and threw out everyone who had set up shop, buying and selling. He kicked over the tables of loan sharks and the stalls of dove merchants. 13 He quoted this text: My house was designated a house of prayer; You have made it a hangout for thieves. MSG
I think that this can also go towards how we treat the santuary of the church. The santuary of the church is place of praise and worship. I guess i’m old school but don’t bring piles of toys and books for your children to play during church time, how are we gonna teach our children to love Jesus and build a relationship with him if they don’t pay attention. I know sometimes kids have a hard time grasping what is going on but just a little seed and it can grow in their hearts. When our girls were small they sit on the pew with us and paid attention its what you plant in your children that is going to grow. It’s time we get back to prayer and praying for the loss and family/friends/church. It’s time we yearn to have more of Jesus and more prayer in our lives.

  11. 11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

With all the miracles Jesus did and the scriptures that were being fulfilled, many of the people still saw Jesus as a prophet. Many today still see Him as something other than Lord and Savior. It is up to us to tell and display the difference for all to see.

  12. And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased, And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭15-16‬ KJV)

    Child like praise and faith

A child is innocent, trusting, forgiving and honest. Often times when going to visit people or just being out in public, my children often give their honest opinion about what they see, smell, with the hear and if they taste something they don’t particularly care for they voice their opinion. My prayer is to be converted and become more as little children. To be humble full of praise and faith that my Daddy can and will do anything.

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭1-4‬ KJV)

  13. Undeniable Messiah

As Jesus rode into town on the donkey the people waved palms and shouted “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”

The word Hosanna means “Save us!”

Interestingly this was the same words quoted from Psalm 118, and were recited during the feast of tabernacles, sukot. During this feast the Jews built tiny huts to live in for eight days. During this time they construct an item called a lulav.

A lulav is a combination of three plants bundled together. Palm leaves, myrtle tree leaves, and willow leaves. In their left hand they hold a fruit called an etrog. They recite parts of the torah and wave the lulav each day.

“During the seven days of Sukkot a sacrificial pouring out of water (called a “water libation”) was performed at the Temple (Sukkah 51a-b). In a ceremony called nisuch ha-mayim, the High Priest would lead a procession to the pool of Shiloach (Siloam) where he would fill a golden pitcher with water and then return to the courtyard of the Temple. When the High priest would pour out the water, the great crowd of people would wave their lulavot and sing out:

    אָנָּא יְהוָה הוֹשִׁיעָה נָּא
    אָנָּא יְהוָה הַצְלִיחָה נָּא
    בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה
    בֵּרַכְנוּכֶם מִבֵּית יְהוָה

    an·na Adonai ho·shi·ah na,
    an·na Adonai hatz·li·chah na
    ba·rukh hab·bah be·shem Adonai
    be·rakh·nu·khem mi·beit Adonai

“Save us, we pray, O LORD!
O LORD, we pray, let us thrive!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD!
We bless you from the house of the LORD.”
    (Psalm 118:25-26)

Amazing when he poured out the water typifying the pure blood of Jesus Christ the people would cry out “Hosanna which means save us lord we pray.” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”, and wave palms.

When Jesus rode into town the people unknowingly were saying this is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! This is the savior!

    The name Jesus is the Hebrew (Olive Tree Enhanced Strong’s Dictionary) h3091. יְהוֹשׁוּעַ yehôšûa‘; or יְהוֹשֻׁעַ Yhowshua; from 3068 and 3467;

3068 is the word YHWH or Jehovah
3467 is the word yasa which means savior

When people said Jesus they were saying Jehovah is the savior. Since Jesus is the savior this is a revelation of who God is. Jesus is the savior therefore Jehovah is Jesus!

  14. 21 Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.
22 You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” (NLT)

    FAITH!!

  15. JUST SAY

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

In Matthew Chapter 20 we read where JESUS passed the blind and they asked him to heal their sight, The illustration we see from those in need is to just ask for what we want the LORD to do. Here in chapter 21 we read that JESUS said to his disciples to JUST SAY to this mountain. It appears to me that when seeking answers from the LORD that when we are seeking for ourselves that we are to JUST ASK the LORD for what we desire. However when we are seeking for others we are to JUST SAY.

Whoever and whatever we PRAY for today, whether self or others we are REQUIRED to SPEAK, either ASK (request) or SAY (confess).

    Our GOD is able!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  16. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

Sometimes, simple obedience is all that is required. The disciples were not asked turn water into wine, heal the sick or raise the dead; simply go and get something. I have been guilty of not doing what I have been asked to do; I believe we all have. However, through simply obedience there is great reward. While the Bible places strong emphasis on obedience, it’s important to remember that we are not justified by our obedience. Salvation is a free gift and we can do nothing to earn it.

True obedience flows from a heart of gratitude for the grace we have received from the Lord.

  17. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

We must be continually building our faith up on the word of God, for our God can do anything!

  18. But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant and said to Him, “Do You hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes. Have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have perfected praise’?” (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭15-16‬ NKJV)

Praising God because he is God. Children don’t know much. When they are young they are innocent. But they knew enough that JESUS was God.
If innocent children can praise the king of kings. Then as adults we have more of the reason to praise him. He had set us free from our wicked way. He gave is salvation. We should praise him even more with a more greatful heart.

  19. 31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Lets be sure not to get so “saved” that when Jesus comes back we don’t actually go up to meet him. The pharasies had been playing the game for a ling time. And that’s all it was to them, they knew everything so they thought. But God in the flesh was standing right in front of them but they didn’t know enough to know that he was God. Let’s not get so caught up in ourselves, everything that we do and know that we aren’t able to be saved when the time truely comes

  20. He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a house of prayer,’ but you have turned it into a den of thieves!” (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭13‬ NLT)

Have we turned our own temples from a house of prayer and worship to steal from the one whom created us? We need to evaluate ourselves, our lives to see what we represent, who or what we pray to.

It’s getting too close to the end to be playing both sides of the fence. Stand for what you know is truth.

  21. 32, “For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.”

42, “Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?”
43, “Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”

    1 Peter 2:4-10
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious.
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Wherefore it is also contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner.
And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
    But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God; which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Thank God for His MERCY! He has become the ROCK on which I have built my life. It is time (the time is NOW) to go forth and show the Praises of Him who has called us out of darkness and into His Marvellous Light.

  22. 43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

We must guard this precious gift that we have been given – the gift of truth. Too many people are prostituting what God gave His life for. We cannot take the word and turn it and twist it to be pleasing to us. We must take every little jot and tittle at face value and live accordingly.

  23. NLT 18 In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, 19 and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up. 20 The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

To me the fig tree represents the body of Christ, the Christians, or the congregation. From a distance you can see the tree and leaves, but upon closer look there is no fruit. The same applies to individuals as Christians. You may look and act like a Christian, but you don’t have the fruit of the Spirit. So what counts is what your heart shows, for others to see.

  24. Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬ NLT)

Wouldn’t that be cool all you have to have is faith.

  25. 40-46
We can not be part of the kindom of God apart from the allegiance to the King. All the religous leaders of Jesus time controlled was the outward now empty shell of religion. The reality is found only by faith in Jesus Christ.

  26. Hosanna in the highest !!!! 1. AND when they drew nigh unto Je-ru’-sa-lem, and were come to Beth’-pha-ge, unto the mount of Ol’-ives, then sent Je’-sus two disciples, Zech. 14 :’ 4 2. Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3. And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4. All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5. Tell ye the daughter of Si’-on, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon a ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6. And the disciples went, and did as Je’-sus commanded them, 7. And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9. And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Ho-san’-na to the son of Da’-vid: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Ho-san’-na in the highest. I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!! YOU ARE AWESOME !!!! YOU ARE GREAT !!!!! AND YOU REIGN !!!!! I AM VICTORIOUS !!!!

  27. The killer of faith.

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Doubt. Doubt is a very versatile word. It is a noun ,verb, adjective, and adverb. In which we all have seen it in action. The greatest faith that anyone can physically see us in children. When they ask they ask with great faith. That whom ever they ask will provide. Bit to see the light go our in a child’s heart is so sad. Then as life takes effect they will understand what doubt is. I can recall a time in my life where I asked my dad to stay home from work. The weather was not permissible and it was very dangerous. He stayed for a few extra hours at home. But he still left. This was a very sad moment. I though did I do something wrong? Am I not good enough for him to stay home and play with me? Doubt is a great killer of faith. Don’t let doubt keep you from your dreams. Dream big. Dream loud. And have faith that through God all things are possible. Be strong and know the the is God.

  28. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

I have been baptized for 6 years and I have never seen so many church people have faith like here at POFW. Usually I would hear people say well good luck, or your if lucky, or don’t keep your hopes up, or it probably won’t happen. All negative thoughts that the devil has made them think and that wanted for me to think also. But I’m just so greatfull I’m surrounded by people that have so much faith and have all their trust in God. Since I have been here my faith has grown so much that I thank God so much because FAITH is what keeps us walking in the right path. We have to know in who we trust and believe because God does not break his PROMISES. Don’t let the devil make you think other wise. All we have to do is ASK AND BELIEVE. Thank you Jesus for your Word!!!! 🙂

  29. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Faith is the key! As Jesus teaches us in the scripture. Without faith, it doesn’t matter how many good works we do, if we don’t have, we don’t have a foundation to stand on in our walk with Christ.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

  30. 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

For it is written the House of God shall be called the house of prayer. Jesus is saying respect my house and keep it Holy, he deserves our sincere praise and worship.

  31. The most epic fail

This speaks of the anointed man or woman of God that doesn’t witness or outreach.
God has given us all the tools and the fields of harvest. We are those husbandmen in the parable. He has given us all we need to have a bountiful harvest and when he shows up one day he is going to expect the return on his investment. Its time for the church to start harvesting more than ever. I cant get away from the 11th hour church.

  32. 12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves

Jesus was serious about His house and his expectations about what should be done in His house. GOD wants His house to be a house of prayer. When we come into his house we should have a praise on our lips and a willingness to take time to speak Him

  33. And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭12-13‬ KJV)

Rebuke and correction was given by Jesus.  Yes he showed his anger and passion towards the things of God and the temple.  What kind of respect do we give the temple of God? Those are the things to notice.  Reminds of one of the preachings from pastor about passion.  What is that thing that makes you move? Are we this way towards the tings of God? Also, after he cast out them that sold he reprimanded them saying “it is written” and gave them the word.  What better way to correct than using the word of God.  May the word always instruct and correct us and may we be meek to recieve it.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16-17‬ KJV)

  34. Recently I saw a documentary on Jerusalem. I did not realize that Jerusalem was like a big rock that sticks out of the ground. The rock that sticks out of the ground is the cornerstone that everything is built on. The whole city is layer after layer built I. Top of each other, but the foundation is this huge rock.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (‭Matthew‬ ‭21‬:‭42‬ KJV)

Are we building on the foundation of God? What is our cornerstone? If he is not our foundation then the shifting sands in our lives will cause everything to fall.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24-27‬ KJV)

  35. Thief…
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

    John 10:1
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

    Malachi 3:8
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

All three verses refer to a thief. It was not a coincident that at the cross Jesus hung between a two thieves. Even in His misery He wanted to show us the way of Salvation. While on earth we must reverence and respect the house of God. The church Yes but also ourselves. We are the place God desire to dwell in and must walk with purpose. Giving of our natural substance to him- tithes and offerings, time, talent, and treasure. My life should be a life of sacrifice and prayer.

  36. 18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

  37. Pride

    Matthew 21:33
    “The Parable of the Tenants
“Hear another parable. There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a winepress in it and built a tower and leased it to tenants, and went into another country.”

Jesus explains to the Pharisees how they killed the prophets of God and will kill the son as well. He even enlightens them of their doom.

Oh to be so blind by my own pride to miss a relationship with God. It happens everyday. Some people will go to hell Bc they love religion more than truth.

  38. The House

Jesus chased off those polluting the house of God, but drew near and touched those who touched His heart. Jesus has a heart of mercy and compassion and reaches for those in need. Those operating in selfishness whose activity in the house of God drew others to them and not God were pushed back by God, while those who “made room for God” found a visitation from Him. We must examine what we bring to the house of God, if God is pleased and if we are making for a move of God or holding Him back by making Him deal with our pollution of His temple first.

    Psalm 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

  39. Matthew 21:42 Jesus said unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?

Jesus quotes Psalm 118:22,23 exactly from the Greek Septuagint version of the Old Testament, relating His present rejection to His ultimate triumph(cf.Acts 4:11; I Peter 2:6,7, where the stone which the builders rejected is also quoted in relation to Christ). The Sanhedrinist represent the builders of Israel’s religion, who rejected the real cornerstone of God, Jesus, the true Cornerstone of the foundation of the church.
