Matthew 22

1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

27 And last of all the woman died also.

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

46 And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

  1. 6. And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

    7. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Be careful how you treat the King’s Messengers, and who you associate with…you could end up either destroyed or your city burned up!

    1 Chronicles 16:21-22 KJV
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

  2. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

    The Wedding Garment

How important is the wedding garment?
In the verses above verse 11 you see the master of the house had just sent to highways and hedges to compel people to come to his house. Even though he wanted people to come to the wedding, there was still a requirement for you to wear the wedding garment. The visitor when asked, how he came in not having on the wedding garment was speechless. He did not try to talk his way out of the situation he found himself in.
    What was The Wedding Garment?
Many scholars believe the wedding garment was similar to the incident where Jesus looked for fruit on the fig tree and found nothing but leaves. From a distance the tree looked fruitful, but when you got u close you could tell there was no fruit. For us to get a wedding garment we must be a winner of souls! Capable of bringing souls to God, not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter in, but he that doeth the will of my Father.
What is the will of my Father?
Many believe it is the bringing of souls to Jesus Christ! Are you a soul winner?
The first thing to becoming a soul winner is having a burden for the lost, see people as souls that are bound for hell and need deliverance. Realizing that we were once sinners and understanding that we would still be sinners if it was not for the GRACE of GOD!
We need to see people as opportunities not look at them with contempt and think we are better than them.
Remember many are CALLED but few are CHOSEN!
Where do you wind up on this list?
    Called or Chosen!

  3. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few are chosen. (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭8-14‬ KJV)

Salvation has come to all, no man, woman, or child had been forbidden.
Life is full of choices, we either can accept, or reject what has been offered to us.
How much more of excuses are we going make and set aside that daily invitation to the wedding? For some it may be nice seeing the wedding from afar, for some they just want to visit for a couple if minutes, then they’ve become tired after wearing that garment for to long. And for others it’s the greatest invite they’ve ever received, the garment fits perfect and are so ready to endure until the end. It’s not to say that they hadn’t been through the valleys to get where they are, they just had made it up in their minds, that no matter the cost it was well worth the tears, heartaches, the loneliness, the gossip, the fiery darts, the illnesses, etc.

What breaks my heart is having the right garment on, and you’ve decided that there was a better ” wedding” to attend. You began to compare what is on the “outside” that just looked so enticing to you that you desired the delicassies that will lead you astray from what is truth. You begin to close your heart and push away what was given to you. Salvation for your soul is no longer for you, is what you say. As you begin to play with sin, deceptions takes place and pieces of your garment slowly fall to the ground. It was never intended for you stay where you are. We all have been given an opportunity of choice. My hope is that you return quickly before it’s to late.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭13‬ KJV)

  4. The beginning of this chapter talks about the story of the wedding banquet. The feast was ready; but, no one would answer the invitation. The same with today, some don’t hear the call and some just refuse it. It is time to not only invite; but, to help, to teach and love the invited as Christ loves them. There is room in the House of God for everybody!

Verses 37-40 MSG “Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”

  5. 17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?21 They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

Yes, we must pay taxes, we must follow the Law of God and the Law of men. God said it, IT IS TRUTH.

  6. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

God calls many but so many don’t want to put on the garments . They only want part of the word . I thank the Lord always for showing me the truth of who he is.

  7. “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭14‬ NLT).

So many people get called but only a few do it. Do you know what your being called for? Some people just lay back and say it’s okay……but then God will take your gifts and give it to someone else who will use it for good.

  8. Cut!

    Matthew 22:18 (KJV Strong’s)
” 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?”

The word hypocrite means a stage actor. Someone who is playing a part but are really different on the inside. Another word for this is an impersonator.

Jesus wants us to be genuine on the inside and outside. The word of God tells us that we are to keep our yea yea and our nay nay. Anything other than this comes from the devil.

The truth is that we aren’t fooling anyone when we play the actor. People can quickly recognize the real from the counterfeit.

    Matthew 7:15-16 (KJV Strong’s)
“15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”

If you find yourself acting on the stage of life yell CUT!

Take a step back and find a place of prayer.

Bro. Stoneking once said “I know how to pray. I can pray very well, because I know him!”

When we know him, and spend time with him we will become like him on the inside and out.

    Romans 8:12-14 (KJV Strong’s)
“12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

  9. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:14

    Job 29:14
I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban.

    Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

    Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified

    Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

You know it is one thing to be invited to a wedding and not come but it is total embarrassment to show up to a wedding and get kicked out. Throughout the Bible God is telling us what garments we are to wear. Many people around the world have made their decision to be a atheist and they will have their reward and this saddens me. Yet it also saddens me the many lives that pretend and continually coming to His house yet are not allowing themselves to be clothed with His garments.
Ye without sin… cast the first stone. We have all been guilty at some point of doing this but now is the time to make sure you lamps are trimmed and burning.

  10. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

Our King of kings has sent the invitation for the great day of rapture in heaven. His people literally turn down the offer and go ‘their ways’ to the things of their heart. He has sent us as messengers to deliver the gospel invitation. They will spitefully treat, and slay us as they have the prophets. We are in debt to the gospel, for the blood that covers us, for the Spirit that dwells within us, for our wedding in heaven.

  11. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Many people hear the call of God but only the “few” will respond because they are the ones who are truly hearing. Jesus said many times, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear”. The point is that everyone has ears, but only a few are listening and responding. Not everyone who hears the gospel receives it; only the “few” who have ears to hear. The “many” hear, but there is no interest or there is bitterness toward God.

How do we know if we are among the few that have ears to hear; by responding to the call. Consider Philippians 1:6, which says, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose” (Philippians 2:12-13.)

  12. 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

The desire of the Lord is for all to follow Him. But like this parable today, many feel called of God, but they are not willing to put on the garments necessary to be the chosen. Not speaking here of just separation and holiness issues, but there are things that we are called to do in order to be the chosen: Love one another, , be obedient and submitted to the Lord , and those in authority over our lives, possess the fruits of the spirit, have an attitude of praise regardless of situations, be full of joy and the Holy Ghost daily, cast down pride, be faithful….. all these things are garments that the chosen must put on everyday. Otherwise, we may find ourselves at the marriage supper of the Lamb being cast into outer darkness.

  13. 11 “When the king entered and looked over the scene, he spotted a man who wasn’t properly dressed. 12 He said to him, ‘Friend, how dare you come in here looking like that!’ The man was speechless. 13 Then the king told his servants, ‘Get him out of here – fast. Tie him up and ship him to hell. And make sure he doesn’t get back in.’ 14 “That’s what I mean when I say, ‘Many get invited; only a few make it. MSG
I want to have the wedding attire on when the Lord comes back to get his church. When we were planning our wedding 24 years ago this month everything had to be perfect, the right color, everyone in the right clothes. You know I believe that is how God feels when he comes back for his bride that we are in the right clothes and doing the right things. You (I) need to spit white and be spotless and do what we need to do.

  14. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

So many are called to the house of God but very few actually make it. I want to be someone who makes it! Lord open my ears so that I can hear the calling you have for my life.

  15. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

Lord help me to always be worthy of you!!😉

  16. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Many are called to the wedding-feast, that is, to salvation, but few have the wedding-garment, the righteousness of Christ, the sanctification of the Spirit. Then let us examine ourselves whether we are in the faith, and seek to be approved by the King.

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. (John 6:44) NIV

  17. Then the Pharisees met together to plot how to trap Jesus into saying something for which he could be arrested. (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭15‬ NLT)

There will always be people trying to trip you up. Whatever they can do to make you mad and watch you lose your cool. Don’t give people an opportunity to call you a hypocrite. If you preach it you should be living it.

  18. 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

    Love God and love others!

  19. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

God doesn’t care if we’re black, white, brown, yellow or purple. He doesn’t care if were rich or poor, strong or weak, young or old, skinny or blessed 😉 he doesn’t care. He is calling us all to celebrate his son. The kingdom of god is for everyone but not everyone gets in. Just because he is merciful and loving enough to call us and forgive us doesn’t mean we should no longer reverence him. Yes he is our friend but he is also the King

  20. HOW TO SILENCE YOUR CRITICS

Tempting it is to find ourselves in an all out argument over religion and how to live. The LORD has taught me for years to allow him to fight HIS own battle and he does so good, I have chosen to allow HIM to fight mine as well.

There are 3 MAJOR requirements on HOW TO SILENCE YOUR CRITICS

    1. BELIEVE the entire WORD of GOD is TRUTH and GOD speaking to humanity and is relevant to any and EVERY generation.
    2. KNOW the WORD of GOD and live a life in accordance with it. Live in OBEDIENCE to the WORD of GOD.
    3. SPEAK the WORD of GOD, regardless of the audience or setting, SPEAK what GOD has already said.

This is a practice that I have initiated over the past several years that prevents argument and confusion. Say what the WORD of GOD says and when I am challenged; I simply ask “Where is that in the WORD of GOD”?

JESUS answered the Pharisees question with a question from the WORD.

He also said to the Sadducees in verse:

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

    The answer is SIMPLE!

Silence your critics with THE WORD OF GOD!!!!!!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iStudy
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  21. 29, “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.”

To many people today do not know what God’s Word says or His Power because they do not pray or read his word. This is why we are encouraged everyday to PRAY, READ God’s Word, and STUDY It. So that, we can “know what doth sayeth the word of the Lord,” and we can know His Power, and so we can take it and share the Gospel “the Good News” of Jesus Christ with others.

  22. What is this garment?

    Matthew 22:11
” “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment.”

Finis Dake says, “Sometimes garments were provided for all guests and it was an insult of the highest degree to refuse to use the garments provided. In this case the king (not God) provided the garments, so this has nothing to do with the righteousnes of the saints of Rev. 19:7-10.”

Dake’s statement would hold some truth if this parable was not an analogy.

    Matthew 22:2
” “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son,”

At the marriage supper of the lamb, the Father will prepare a feast for His son and the church.

    The King must represent God.

which had not on a wedding garment–

The language here is drawn from the following remarkable passage in Zep 1:7, 8:–“Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God; for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, He hath bid His guests. And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.” The custom in the East of presenting festival garments (see Ge 45:22; 2Ki 5:22), even though nor clearly proved, Is certainly presupposed here. It undoubtedly means something which they bring not of their own–for how could they have any such dress who were gathered in from the highways indiscriminately?–but which they receive as their appropriate dress. And what can that be but what is meant by “putting on the Lord Jesus,” as “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS?” (See Ps 45:13, 14). Nor could such language be strange to those in whose ears had so long resounded those words of prophetic joy: “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels” (Isa 61:10).

Weddings are a time of celebration. It will be a great day when we dine with Christ at the feast for the church.

A wedding celebration in any time or culture typically brims with emotion, including the culmination of joy and the realization of an anticipated promise, thereby aptly expressing a believer’s union with Christ at the end of time: “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear” (Rev 19:7–8).

  23. 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

There is life in the word of God. Jesus spoke in parables so people could understand him. The bible is available to everyone who chooses to read it, it will set you on fire and change peoples lives forever. The power of God is life changing, Jesus teaches us to follow him and his commandments.

  24. 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

When we obey these two commandements it will change the way we see things, do things, and treat others. Just by loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind sygnifies that we will put GOD before EVERYTHING!!!! Which will lead us to have LOVE OTHER AS OURSELVES. Which will make us want to go and reach the lost, pray for others, and to give. Doing everything for the pleasure of God and not for the pleasure of men!!!!!

  25. iLove to eat the Word of God
Matthew 22:15 “Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.”

I had to laugh out loud when I read this verse. The Pharisees read and memorized the entire Torah by the age of 14 and they were going to try to entangle the One who spoke the Torah into existence. It is impossible!

  26. 5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

So many times the world makes fun of us. But as we see here becareful who you make fun of. I can recall a time where a Muslim made fun of me. And said that they were going to blow up my truck because I was Jewish. A few weeks later I saw them again. They began to tell me that a few days after thre told me that that their car engine blew up on them. Not to wish that on anyone. Yet this is a very true statement. Be careful who you talk about.

  27. “But they which were bidden were not worthy.” Some placed more value on self more so then on the call, while others tried to prove self-worth over the Lord (Jesus). One must listen, if one wants to hear, and one should freely humble self, before one is humbled. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word, and a called man of God to preach and teach his word! May God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  28. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. -Matthew 22:37

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. -Matthew 22:39

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. -Matthew 22:40

The verses are very powerful but I often feel that as Christians we glaze over our responsibility to live up to its charge.

Let’s pray for those that are different, those that don’t agree with us and those that have mistreated us.

  29. ?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
God’s love for us goes way beyond what we can comprehend . What makes us think that we don’t have to love him with everything within in.

  30. 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

    GREAT DOCTRINE! 1 God!
The God of Abraham. The God of Isaac. The God of Jacob. Not the God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob… I seem to remember that there are several other denominations that are built around a similar scripture that is fameouly misquoted.

  31. 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

I can not wait for the day when we will be taken up into heaven and become the bride of Christ and reign with him forever!

  32. 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

All the problems of the world could be fixed in these few verses. Love God and your neighbor. It doesn’t say love your neighbor that goes to the same church as you. It says to love your neighbor and it doesn’t give restrictions to it. No one comes to God unless his spirit first draws them, right? What if his spirit inside of you was the only one they ever felt. Would it be like Elizabeth’s baby leaping inside of her at the knowledge of Christ inside Mary? Truly living someone starts with keeping their best interests in your mind.

    Live is the answer

  33. Matthew 22:37-38 and Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all my soul, and with all my mind. This is the first and great commandment.

Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

  34. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
    If I were a doctor I wouldn’t go to the office in a chef’s attire or if I was a fireman I wouldn’t be dressed as a policeman !
We do not need to let the false prophets of this world trick us to putting on the wrong garment and not have on the wedding garment of truth ! When Jesus comes for His bride he will know her by the kind of garment she has on!! Will we pass the test or will He pass us up for someone who is dressed with the garment that has neither spot nor blemish on it !! Jesus you WILL save me today!! Thank you Lord for your mercy on me!!!

  35. Keep It Simple

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

When we think of Adam and Eve in the garden, it can be easy to say “well they had it easy, all they had to do was not eat of the forbidden fruit!” Yet we still have such simplicity in the foundation of a walk with God pleasing to Him; love: love God, love people. It is easy to create a religious mindset when we begin to start trying to apply the Word to our lives and we get into a checklist of do’s and don’t’s, but in this we lose sight of the simplicity of it all being about the love of God flowing in us and through us and back to Him. All we do must be done out of the foundation of that relationship with Christ, otherwise our good works will not have something solid to stand on. When Jesus is at the center of our lives, a free flow of love with Him and others will draw us closer to Him and all things not involved in a closer walk with Him will begin to fall to the periphery and eventually out of sight.

    Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

  36. God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Many things can be said but it all comes down to a matter of Love. Love for God and love for others

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ NLT)

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1-3‬ NLT)

  37. For many are called, but few are chosen. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. (‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭14-15‬ KJV)

There are many people today who are trying to entangle those around them. They try to entangle them with false doctrine and lies. When people begin to hear the truth it is hard because of the snares of the enemy. The entanglement that is created by the lies are what cause few to be chosen. Many are called. Many people hear the voice of The Lord and search for him at least for a short time. The second art of what Jesus said was few are chosen. “Few” is because there are so many that get turned around and walk away from the truth they are seeking. People get stuck in a rabbit hole chasing rabbits when JESUS is right in front of them.

Keep telling the truth! It helps to create more that will be chosen because they believe the truth.

  38. The Great Commandment ! 36. Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37. Je’-sus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38. This is the first and great commandment. THANK YOU JESUS !!!!!
