Mark 5

1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,

7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.

41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.

42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

  1. The parable of the sower teaches that many things may happen to distract people from the Gospel. Jesus is saying that these things will happen, and we cannot stop that, except to not let it happen to us. However, our duty is to sow other people’s lives and let God worry about the rest.

  2. Mark 5:35-36 KJV
    35. While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
    36. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

    Whose report will you believe?
Jairus received two reports – one that his daughter was dead, and one that he had nothing to fear. It’s not easy to stand in the face of bad news and declare that you are not afraid because you believe, but with that kind of faith, God can do great things!

    “Whose report
    Will you believe
    We shall believe
    The report of the Lord

His report says I am healed
His report says I am filled
His report says I am free
    His report says victory”

  3. 37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

I was just discussing this with my Sister from church when we were watching a video from Facebook where it showed a church praying and rebuking a cyclone. No air conditioning, just hard prayer, in tongues, & with a lot of worship. She said that she will pray while she ran but she could not just sit there. Mean while I was telling her that on John 14:12 it says “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” Which means if we speak as we see the storm coming towards our mountain is our time to start rebuking and start speaking to that storm in Jesus name. Instead it seems to me we wait until the storm is on top of us to pray. He said greater things we will do. SPEAK TO YOUR STORM BE STILL, HAVE THE FAITH TO MOVE THE MOUNTAIN. IN JESUS NAME AMEN

  4. God is speaking to us in these parables; but, are we really listening? Truly listening as the scriptures say? You might think I am not going to waste my time on this person anymore, their not listening; but, the end of verses 10-12 MSG say “But to those who can’t see it yet, everything comes in stories, creating readiness, nudging them toward receptive insight…..” God can and will make that seed flourish……just keep planting! If we ourselves are in doubt of something or questioning something; don’t go talking to everyone else……get to praying and get your answer. The end of verse 34 explains how Jesus took the time to explain it to his disciples “When he was alone with his disciples, he went over everything, sorting out the tangles, untying the knots.” The end of the chapter reminds us to keep the faith, for we serve an awesome God.

  5. 3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

We sow the seed to everyone some will hear and not believe some will hear and listen for a time others will hear and will believe annd become sowers thier self. But we can’t decide it you never know what is in a mans heart. Or who will listen . God gave me a dream many years ago I was in a room with hundred of people telling them all about how to be saved about repentance and baptism in Jesus name and most of them made fun of it refused it or ignored it and I was so frustrated then one family accepted it. So never give up spreading his word many may turn away but isn’t the one worth it all.

  6. 21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? (KJV)

21 Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine. 22 For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.
23 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” (NLT)

This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine and not let Satan *blow* it out! We must listen intently so that we have great understanding of His word so that we can shine with confidence for all to see.

24 Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given—and you will receive even more.
25 To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.” (NLT)

  7. Amen
    acts 2:38
then peter said unto them repent and be baptized in the name of jesuschrist and receive the gift of the holy Ghost.

  8. Some people are like the seed that fell on the walkway they have little faith and are scared.others are like the seed that landed on shallow soil ,they are faithful but are scared that they will get made fun of.some people are like the seed that landed on good soil they are faithful and aren’t scared they will follow Jesus through any thing.

  9. And he said, “Whoever has ears to hear had better listen!” -Mark 4:9

    Listen –
To hear something with thoughtful attention.

    Hear –
    To perceive by the ear

    Listening VS Hearing

Hearing is simply the act of perceiving sound by the ear. If you are not hearing-impaired, hearing simply happens. Listening, however, is something you consciously choose to do. Listening
requires concentration so that your brain processes meaning from words and sentences. Listening leads to learning.

So the word states if you can “hear” then “listen” !

    Are you listening or hearing?!

  10. . 30 At the same moment, Jesus felt energy discharging from him. He turned around to the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?” 31 His disciples said, “What are you talking about? With this crowd pushing and jostling you, you’re asking, ‘Who touched me?’ Dozens have touched you!” 32 But he went on asking, looking around to see who had done it. 33 The woman, knowing what had happened, knowing she was the one, stepped up in fear and trembling, knelt before him, and gave him the whole story. 34 Jesus said to her, “Daughter, you took a risk of faith, and now you’re healed and whole. Live well, live blessed! Be healed of your plague. MSG
Sometimes that is all we have to do is touch the hem of his garment. How many times have we prayed a prayer and it didn’t get answered or it did but not what we wanted. How far will we go when we need to be healed or need something from God, how far will we go…….will we fight the crowd to get to him? will we lose our pride to get to him? just some thoughts….

Touch The Hem Of His Garment”

Oh, there was a woman in the Bible days,
she had been sick, sick so very long
but she heard about Jesus was passing by,
so she joined the gathering throng
and while she was pushing her way through,
someone ask her: ‘What are you trying to do?’

    She said:
‘if I could just touch the hem of His garment
I know I’ll be made whole’

    She cried:
‘Oh Lord, Oh Lord and Oh Lord, Oh Lord’
    Said :
‘if I could just touch the hem of His garment
I know I’ll be made whole’

Oh, She spent her money here and there
until she had no, had no more to spare,
the doctors, they’d done all they could
but their medicine would do no good.
When she touched Him The Saviour didn’t see
but still He turned around and cried
    ‘Somebody touched me’

    She said:
‘It was I who just wanna touch the hem of Your garment,
I know I’ll be made whole right now’

    She stood there crying:
‘Oh Lord, Oh Lord and Oh Lord, Oh Lord’

    Said:
‘If I could just touch the hem of His garment,
I know I’ll made whole right now’

  11. 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.

Jesus speaking said take heed what you hear: what and how we hear things are important. We need to understand verse 24 clearly. He said unto you that hear shall more be given. Jesus is speaking here about total reception of what we hear not just saying I hear but understanding what we hear.
God wants to give those that will work more to work with. One scripture says to whom much is given much is required.

  12. But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. (‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭6, 17‬ KJV)

Sadly this is where many are today.

It’s important to allow the word of GOD take it’s course and grow those roots. Those roots must grow deep and strong in order to have a firm foundation. Those roots are going to have to push some things aside to grow deep, to grow strong! And it’s not always pleasant. But if you truly want to grow, you’re going to face some things in your life that you would have never expected to. Disappointments, sickness, rejections, etc. yeah they will come, but, remember where you get your nutrients from to nourish you. It’s not from man( they’ll discourage you), but it comes from Jesus!! So allow those roots to grow, through your praise and worship, through prayer, and stay in the word of GOD, and bring forth that fruit that is pleasing unto Him.
No matter what comes your way stand(GROW)!!

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ KJV)

  13. The pigs prioritized

    Mark 5:16 (KJV Strong’s)
” 16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.”

The man they had tried to bind with chains and fetters. They heard him cut hisself at night, and he would wail out loud noises.

No doubt he had become something of an urban legend. The demoniac of gadarenes.

Now when Jesus shows up he exorcizes the demons, and they pray that he would let them go into the pigs.

God answered the demon’s prayer and the pigs ran down the mountain killing themselves.

Rather than rejoicing the town folk became upset. They saw the miracle, the man was in his right mind but they didn’t care about that. Their money had just been challenged and their pigs were gone.

Like pastor preached we must have our priorities in line. Imagine the thoughts in this delivered man’s mind. He wanted to go with Jesus because they cared for the pigs more than him.

Jesus knew the power of his testimony and sent him to the people.

In our efforts to win souls we must be careful we don’t put the pig before the person. Pigs can be replenished, but the person has an eternal destiny.

  14. TOUCHING JESUS

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

So often we complicate the gospel, the miraculous and even the path to the LORD. The very sick woman, was no doubt weak and frail from the infirmity that plagued her for 12 long years, she was out of money and out of options.

The last resort option seems to awaken desperation in our hearts to pursue and persevere. This frail human simply pressed her way through opposition to TOUCH the border of his clothes and JESUS knew it. JESUS knows sincerity and always recognizes it. We are all wise to seek JESUS and pursue to to the desire of TOUCHING JESUS.

  15. A measure of faith.

Kind of like eyeballs and elbows, everyone has a measure of faith. What are you doing with your measure? Do we believe but need just a little more? Mark 9:24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. We are not alone but we must be careful how we deal with our unbelief.

Viewing faith as a gift can sometimes lull us into inaction. The danger is that we will become passive and might say something like, “Well, if I am to do my ministry by faith, and faith is a work of God’s grace, then there is nothing for me to do.” Paul perceived this and wrote about it to the Romans. Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

The Lord gives spiritual gifts to every Christian, including the faith to use these gifts. Let us pray that He help us to understand our individual gifts. Help us to embrace it by faith. Teach us to use it in the strength God supplies so that God will get the glory and we will get the joy.

  16. 15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Halelujah Jesus you are more than able to do anything! Everything is subject to you Lord and you turn things around for good! You are so good Jesus

  17. 2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

The moment you step out of your ship- place of comfort you will come face to face with the enemy. This is not the time to be fearful but forceful. Jesus Christ walked this earth in a manner of honor and integrity. He did not have to get angry or loud. His very appearance spoke for it’s self. It’s my desire to follow his example and walk in His footsteps. If your enemy does not know your name, you are not trying to defeat him but coexist with him.

  18. iLove to eat the Word

    Gad·a·rene
    ˈɡadəˌrēn/
    adjective
involving or engaged in a headlong or potentially disastrous rush to do something.

As I looked up the word Gadarene, I found it a very interesting word.

I’m thinking that God had an incredible sense of humor. The fact that the country was named Gadarene, and then the unclean swine ran headlong into the sea strikes me as more than a coincidence. Nevertheless, we should always consider this simple rule of thumb; Any spirit that tries to get you to rush into something, is the spirit of the Gadarenes.

  19. Verse 36 NLT says “….Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”

When I feel afraid I used to cower down and not let anyone help. I didn’t want to talk about it because I believed that talking about it would make it real. But I know when I talk to Jesus I don’t have to be afraid! I can trust in Him and know that with Him, I am safe. I have faith to know that with Him everything will work out in the end according to His will. I know my place is with Him and nowhere else! For He is my eternal comforter, my endless love and my best friend!

Thank you Jesus for your merciful hand!

  20. NLT 3 This man lived among the burial caves and could no longer be restrained, even with a chain. 4 Whenever he was put into chains and shackles—as he often was—he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him. 5 Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones.

This man was fully controlled and abused by evil spirits. Having evil spirits that limit our joy, happiness, bringing depression, suicidal thoughts, lying, cheating, etc. Evil spirits like living in darkness so not to be exposed, they like living among the dead so no one can talk to them about God, Jesus, or positive stuff.

I thank God for having light in my life, able to walk among the living, able to speak about Jesus and receive his blessings!

  21. 25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

This women believed if she could only touch the clothes Jesus was wearing she would be made whole. She had unshakeable faith. That is the kind of faith we all need to have, but I don’t want to stop there but continually to let my faith grow stronger in God.

  22. 4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

Spiritual problems can’t be handled by physical means. People need supernatural moves of God to free them of their spiritual bonds. Today we try to heal spiritual problems with medicines, programs, or a plethora of other physical ways when there is only one way to handle a spiritual problem. Having an encounter with Jesus.

  23. 35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?

36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.😉

  24. 15, “And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.”

Vs.1-20 is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. It tells of the Mercy, Grace, and Goodness of JESUS. Man tried to chain this man up and the devil tortured his mind and spirit. But, when he met JESUS, he was delivered, restored, healed, sitting and clothed, and in his right mind. (PEACE)
Just like this man, we all have been bound by the chains of sin and mans thinking. We have been tortured by the devil in our minds and spirits. But, when we met JESUS, we too were delivered, restored, healed, sitting and have a new garment to wear, and he gave us a right mind full of peace.

Eph. 4:23-24 says, “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

Thank You JESUS for your Mercy, Grace, and Goodness!!

  25. 13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

Hallelujah! The word that caught my eye was (they were about two thousand) there was this many devils in that man to run them into the sea which made the swine do things that they normally wouldn’t do! That’s why it’s so important to have the Holy Ghost in us EVERYDAY and not let any opportunity for the devil to be the one leading us!

  26. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” (‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬ NKJV)

Tell your testimony so that maybe one day you can inspire and save a life for Gods kingdom. I’m so thankful for the people that I know have amazing testimonys. And it makes me happy when they use it to bring others to salvation. I’m greatful that I can use mine as well.

    We have overcome.
By the blood of the lamb.
And the word of our testimony.

  27. “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him”. The woman, the man controlled by the devils, Jairus and the others that acted, received. Although there were others than, as there are today with needs, the difference is in the willingness to act. If one will take action, as those that pressed and cried out to God, one can also receive. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  28. The Legion

Sometimes we assume in our lives we are just facing one demon in our spiritual battle, but it can be a multitude of demons tormenting us in our lives from many different angles. Through our spiritual journey we gotta try and identify the different spirits trying to tear us away from living for God.

And we also must show confidence in our God and his power to cast them out. Notice how Jesus not only cast them, but he gave them a location to go, he told them to go into the herd of pigs. Now we might not have a herd of pigs nearby for our convenience, but we should them back to where they came from: the pits of hell. They are afraid of going there just like we were, so if they want to mess around in our lives and the lives of our family, this is one place where we should show no mercy and send them packing to where they came from. For in Jesus, we can cast these evil spirits out of our lives!

  29. Whole

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

That word “whole” is used also to describe the salvation of the Lord. It is a pulling out from death to life. The salvation of God is described elsewhere:

    John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The Lord’s salvation truly is complete and abundant in our lives to make us whole as nothing else could.

  30. 11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

The demons recognized Jesus and the authority that he has. In here it shows us how great power there is in Jesus. Even the demons waiting at the comand. The asked for Jesus to send them to the pigs. This is the kind of authority that Jesus wants us to walk in and believe who we are in Him. We should not allow any devil to come and distract us and or become a struggle but in the name of Jesus command it to leave. We must first be under authority to have authority. There is a world out there that needs our help and that needs to hear the great message of salvation. We must realize who we are in Christ.

Luke 9:1-2 One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

  31. 4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

The world tries desperately to bind the results of sin. Nothing can set us free like the power of the blood of Jesus!

  32. 18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

The man now healed of legions of demons was told to go publish the testimony of what happened to him. This caused a great stir among the people so much so that when Jesus returned from the ship the people thronged him and additional miracles were done.

If we will publish what the Lord is doing, we will not be able to hold the “throng” of people that will come for their miracle!!

  33. We see here how 12 is a number of significance. The woman with the issue of blood and the daughter. Both 12 years. This is our churches 12th year. What has happened in this year. We have started our building project. Be blessed and know God is on our side.

  34. If the woman could be totally healed by just a touch of his clothing how much more should we expect when we have his spirit??
We underestimate the power of God so that we miss out on most of the miracles he wants to do.

  35. And crying out with a loud voice, he said, What have You to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? [What is there in common between us?] I solemnly implore you by God, do not begin to torment me! (‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ AMP)

Wow even unclean spirits know that children of the Light have nothing to do with darkness. We have nothing in common. We are to be holy and separated. We are a peculiar people,  a royal priesthood, a holy nation. We have been called into his marvelous light. We are conquerors through Jesus Christ.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9-10‬ KJV)

  36. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Jesus can give you the miracle you have been asking for. Have faith and trust him, he will give you the peace and strengh you need to help you overcome any obsticles that get in the way.

  37. To get a miracle in your life you first have to believe that Jesus can do it, then that he will do it for you.

  38. To tell or not to tell

43 And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

We must listen to the voice of God so that we know when to tell our miracle to everyone and when to keep our miracle private. Both of these were mighty miracles. Why not share both? Only God knows all the answers. We know only part. We have to understand the higher level of understanding that He has and just trust His voice.

  39. Faith

    Mark 5:28
” For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.””

Something this simple and unorthodox was a product of faith. This faith led to a healing. Sometimes things that seem absurd to us is what brings the miracle.

  40. Unclean spirit !!!! 1. AND they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gad’-a- renes. 2. And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3. Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: 4. Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. 5. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. 6. But when he saw Je’-sus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, 7. And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Je’-sus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. 8. For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. 9. And he asked him, what is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. I AM VICTORIOUS !!!! REIGN ON ME JESUS !!!!
