Mark 9

1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

3 And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

6 For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

8 And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

9 And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

10 And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

11 And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

14 And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

15 And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

16 And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

26 And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

33 And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?

34 But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

  1. 41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

There are two points here I want to expound on.
    1. Giving a cup of water to a child of God in Jesus name brings a reward!
    2. Offending one of God’s little ones has consequences.

Whatever we do in the Name of Jesus Christ has rewards, because the Word teaches us to do all things in his name ( Jesus Christ). Even the small things that we don’t think are important are noticed by our God. Most people want to do big important things to others. We forget The Word teaches us the last shall be first!
Everyone is equal in the sight of God, there is no big I’s and little You’s. We are all accountable to each other with our actions and our words. Are we looking for some little things we can do? If God can’t trust us with little things he will never give us big things! Help me God begin to help the little ole Lady cross the street, pick up the trash in the parking lot.
No one at church may notice, but Jesus noticed and that is who will be giving out rewards one day.
We need to be careful how we approach and handle our Brothers and Sisters , offending children of God has consequences. We should always think before we speak and be sure of what we say. People may have things going on in their lives that we don’t know about and they make take what you say the wrong way. Offended people are hard to get back on track!

Pro 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.
Once we offend someone they raise their guard against us.
Jesus put it on this wise(it would be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and cast into the bottom of the ocean).

God loves his church, so much that he gave himself for his people. That is love!

  2. 37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.
42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

It is hard for me to watch the news now a day, you hear of horrendous cases where parents have starved and tortured their children to death. I can not conceive how God trust every one of us with the treasure of a having a child and some will be so sick as to torture it or starve the child to death. There are also children that have behavior problems that society, schools, and parents have cast it to the streets with no place to go to, or no one to show them the way. Later, you see them wasting away in a prison. The Lord knows how many couple will give anything for a child. For I like Hannah have wept bitterly…1 Sam 1:10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore.
11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth.
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.
16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

Many of these forgotten children have found a home in my house. Many have come and gone, some have grown to be great leaders, others tragedy and the spirit of victim have destroyed them physically and spiritually. Children are not ours, they are treasures of the Lord entrusted to us to be raised for His Kingdom, with love, honor, respect, discipline, and with His Word. They need to be nurtured so they may grow to serve the Lord and His Kingdom for generations to come. If we miss treat any of them, if we shed any innocent blood, I will not want to be in the shoes of those that have wasted such responsibility at the time of judgement. Please Love your children, teach them the word of God, share it with them in daily basis, and do your best for them. For the Lord said Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

  3. 36. And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

    37. Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

    42. And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

What a loving Father; one who will take a child in His arms and say, If you bless My Children, I will bless you, but if you offend My Children, you have to deal with Me and the consequences!
I know all of you fathers (and mothers) feel the same way, but our Heavenly Father has infinitely more power to bless and punish.
Lord, if I have offended anyone, please forgive me and help me learn how to be a better father and follower of You, in Jesus Name, Amen.

  4. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭3-4‬ KJV)

Wow, I wonder what Jesus, Elias, and Moses were talking about. And for Peter to know who these men were. What a vision!!

If a man/woman truly have a desire to know The Lord, just ask. The Lord will give you revelation to whom He is. The deeper you dig, the more you’ll know!

What a relationship unfolding right before our eyes.
“For flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee.”

  5. And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. -Mark 9:7

As he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. -Luke 9:34

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves. -Mark 9:8

Luke says they entered the cloud.

While there the voice of The Lord spoke to them and brought revelation to the deity of Christ.

If we are going to understand the mighty God in Christ it is going to be by the Holy Ghost.

  6. What a sight that must have been in verses 1-14 MSG that Peter, James and John experienced. Want to have your own experience???….spend some time with the Master!

In verses 14-32 MSG the caption reads “There Are No Ifs”. In verse 23 MSG it says “Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” Anything!!!

In verses 33-50 MSG it shows us that if you want to be first, then make yourself last and be a servant of all! The end of the chapter talks about not letting anything come in between you and God’s way. Do not let anything distract you from His will. As verses 49-50 MSG say “Everyone’s going through a refining fire sooner or later, but you’ll be well-preserved, protected from the eternal flames. Be preservatives yourselves. Preserve the peace.”

  7. iLove to eat the Word

    “You Offended Me”

    Mark 9:42
    (42) And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

When reading this verse, one pretty much automatically associates the word “offend” in the context of hurt feelings, such as “what you said hurt my feelings…”

However, to get the full understanding of the word “offend” we must look it up it in a dictionary.

The Greek word in the Dictionary for “offend” is σκανδαλίζω. If you read the following you will notice that this word offend is actually deeper than just hurting someone’s feelings. It actually means to make someone enter into a scandal.

    skandalizō
    skan-dal-id’-zo
To “scandalize”; from G4625; to entrap, that is, trip up (figuratively stumble [transitively] or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure): – (make to) offend.
    Total KJV occurrences: 30

To truly offend someone would mean you enticed someone to sin.

Food for thought. The next time we are offended at someone; we should tell them that they caused us to enter into sin. There’s not alot of people who will confess sin, so that means there will truly be less people being offended. BOOM

  8. Amen
    Acts 2 : 38
then peter said unto them repent and be baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ and ye shall receive the holy Ghost

  9. Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other.” (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭50‬ NLT)

    Salt Qualities:

    Adds Flavor
Who doesn’t add some type of salt to your veggies?! Salt enhances the flavor.

    Preserves
Salt is used to cure food.

    Brings Healing
“Don’t rub salt in my wounds” is a very common heard statement when hearing good advice. As well as salt can kill many germs with instant contact.

The scripture states that we must possess the qualities of salt.

    Add Flavor
We must add a holy and good atmosphere around us. If God is living within us, where we are, He is.

    Preserve
We must preserve the Word of God. Keep it in our hearts.

    Bring Healing
We must bring healing to the hurting people of Fort Worth!

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ KJV)

We are the salt of the world, what good is favor less salt? We must be ready at all times!

  10. A little further

2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

There is a place that he can lead us where his glory is magnified. We see this sometimes in our services. We see Pastor calling and pleading with the rest of the congregation to join the ones that are going up. When the spirit of God rushes through the sanctuary and people are still not moved I cant help but ask God why. The answer is that his spirit is always calling us up to a deeper relationship with him, a closer look at him, but we are not waiting, as we suppose, on him. HE is waiting on us. This higher ground is always available but it is us that have to make the climb. We can go up with him or be like those disciples that were left at the foot of the mountain and see them go up without us. What if God is calling us today to come up with him? Will we recognize that the spirit is moving and start climbing with him or will we be spectators and watch?

    I choose to go up!

  11. “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ NLT)

All you have to do is believe and have faith and trust in The Lord. He CAN do it.

  12. 17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

If we have the faith to believe and are true followers of Jesus, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish for His Kingdom.

  13. 50. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. A Peace that surpasses all understanding! THANK YOU JESUS !!!! Peace Peace wonderful peace coming down from the father above.

  14. HELP MY UNBELIEF

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Unbelief is the most efficient their of the promises of GOD. We often struggle to see GOD work in our lives, simply because we live a life of unbelief. We struggle to believe that GOD will, for us.

    The NIV
23 “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

UNBELIEF – (Greek) 570. apaistia, ap-is-tee´-ah; faithlessness, i.e. (negatively) disbelief (lack of Christian faith), or (positively) unfaithfulness (disobedience): — unbelief.

UNBELIEF – incredulity or skepticism especially in matters of religious faith

    LORD I BELIEVE!

    ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iBelieve
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  15. Growing Faith

    Mark 9:24 (KJV Strong’s)
” 24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

These words belief and unbelief can be translated to have faith, and faithlessness.

I believe that we can have faith in God for something and yet not have enough faith.

I know with a grain of mustard seed faith we can move mountains.

Faith is two sides. We have our part and God has his. I believe that the disciples were saying to him we have faith, but help us because we need a little bit more.

Today God has given us the ability to grow our faith.

    Jude 1:20 (KJV Strong’s)
“20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,”

    Romans 10:17 (KJV Strong’s)
” 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

    Mark 9:29 (KJV Strong’s)
” 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”

Prayer, fasting, and his word will build up faith. If we feel like we have little faith we just need to spend time with Jesus, abstaining from food, speaking in tongues and studying.

    Our faith will grow!

  16. 28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

30 And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

We try to get right so many different ways when the answer is right there in black and white. Right out of Jesus’ mouth. There is no trick or special prayer. We must crucify our flesh and he will be glorified.

  17. 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Jesus wants us to have peace with each other. We can lead a peaceful life, let God lead you, he is our strength.

  18. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Everyone of us at some point has struggled with unbelief. We have found ourselves struggling to believe that he can or he will bless us or heal us but God is a prayer answer! What he says he will do! GOD will keep His word is just up to us to have faith as a mustard seed..if so we can see blessings like never before.

  19. “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ NLT)

How often do we run into unbelief when we witness to people or even in our own walks with God? We need to remember that our God is an amazing, miraculous, on time God. Nothing is impossible for Him and we need to keep that attitude for ourselves and others. We will all do great and mighty things in His kingdom if we simply believe.

  20. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

As Pastor preached in his message, it is better to go to heaven missing an eye or not having any vision at all then to go to hell with all your vision. Though you may not need to pluck it out, you need to be careful of what your body is doing. If there is something in your life that is making you sin, then you need to identify it and take care of it.

  21. 42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
Oh be careful little mouth what you say !!
It is so easy to say things that we will regret latter, when we get a little aggravated at someone ! We need to always think before we open our mouth to let someone know how we feel! We can offend someone very easy just because WE are having a bad day !! Shame on us, we are suppose to uplift and encourage one another !!Lord help me not be a stumbling block to any one but a stepping stone ! Lord help me to always think and consider the the result from the words I say. Lord You Will Save Me.Today!!

  22. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

This man recognized that his belief may be weak and asked for the Lord to help his unbelief so that his son would be healed. Doubt cannot be present when we are asking the Lord to do something. We must find ourselves encouraging our faith through praise and the word of God, so that miracles, signs and wonders can be performed at the spoken Word of God, not only for us but through us!!

  23. 22, “And he asked the father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.”
23, “And oftimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but IF THOU CANST DO ANY THING, have compassion on us, and help us”
24, “Jesus said unto him, “IF THOU CANST BELIEVE, all things are possible to him that believeth.” (KJV)

He asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been going on?”
“Ever since he was a little boy. Many times it pitches him into fire or the river to do away with him. If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!”
Jesus said, “IF?” There are no ‘IFs’ among believers. Anything can happen.” (MSG)

Our God can do anything IF we believe. We must have FAITH. ALL THINGS are possbile to him that believeth (that has faith). FAITH in God wipes away the IF. Then we can stand upon His Word that says, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37

  24. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

God blesses those who bless the children of God. Not everyone will walk with us, not everyone will go to our church. But they may still be for us. The answer isn’t to debate them to try to prove who is right, we need to be Jesus to them. No man cometh unless God draws him but They still can bless the children of God. As Christians we shouldnt refuse or object to nonbelievers, or even people who believe differently, blessing us. Jesus has a reward for them.

  25. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief!

  26. 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Oh to be salt and light in the world. Salt is used for many things, one is to flavor. Just as salt flavors food, we should “flavor” the world we live in. We should never lose the desire to “salt” the earth with the love and the message of God.

  27. 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Salt- 1salt with which food is seasoned and sacrifices are sprinkled
2.those kinds of saline matter used to fertilise arable land
3.salt is a symbol of lasting concord, because it protects food from putrefaction and preserves it unchanged. Accordingly, in the solemn ratification of compacts, the orientals were, and are to this day, accustomed to partake of salt together
4.wisdom and grace exhibited in speech

Wisdom and grace 🙂 is what has to be in our hearts…if we have this is will let us have peace with everyone 🙂 Teach me Jesus to do your will and let me be the salt of this Earth 🙂

  28. 49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.
50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

    Are you salting yourself.

We’ve all heard don’t toot your own horn. This is the same meaning. Why do we think tgat we have to make ourselves seem better? The bible says to allow the fruit to show. There’s a good possibility that if people are telling you that you are one way. Than you are. This is why we must have godly men and women in our lives that we trust that will tell us the truth. I can recall many times where I needed to hear something and God allowed those that were there to speak to me. Don’t trust what the world says for they have a corrupted view of things. Trust the man of God to pray for you and to guild you too. Be salt. But allow others to shake you.

  29. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬ NKJV)

Sometimes I have problems with unbelief sometimes my faith is so high I feel like I can overcome all things! Which I can.

If we can establish our faith and actually believe what God can do. Then we will forever be alright. I pray that our faith will be restored. In JESUS name.

  30. NLT 2 Six days later Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone. As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed, 3 and his clothes became dazzling white, far whiter than any earthly bleach could ever make them.

    Transfiguration–sacred, holy
What a great sight that must have been. Jesus transformed from a normal man to the King of Glory right before their eyes. One day, we all will see Jesus in this glorious manner. For now, we can only imagine!

  31. Compassion
22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

    Compassion–
sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.

Compassion is just on question away

  32. “For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.” The Lord (Jesus) was preparing them, as he is also doing today. Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  33. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. (‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭19‬ KJV)

Faithless-  from  (as a negative particle) and ; (actively) disbelieving, i.e. without Christian faith (specially, a heathen); (passively) untrustworthy (person), or incredible (thing):–that believeth not, faithless, incredible thing, infidel, unbeliever(-ing).

I realize now why without faith it’s impossible to please God. Faithlessness causes us to be a unbeliever. Thank you Jesus for giving us all a measure of faith.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1-3‬ KJV)

  34. We shouldn’t have to try and make ourselves look better than everyone else, if we do then we should really check out spiritual status.

  35. 23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Nothing is impossible with God. It is ourselves that need to take the limit off from God and allow Him to work on our lives. He created all things, no human ingenuity or trouble is too much for him. Praise be to God and exalted high above all things

  36. The Difference

50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Resolving differences can be difficult, but it is the salt of Jesus in us that makes the difference for the differences in our lives. When we allow Jesus to work in us His love, our lives take on the sweet savor of the Lord. His peace passes all understanding, and so does His savor in the face of differences that would seem to the flesh to be irreconcilable.

    Psalm 29:11
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

  37. “Immediately the father of the boy cried out,
“I do believe! Help my unbelief.”
    Mark 9:24
If you are having difficulty believing you really could live out the liberty of Christ, would you make the same plea the father made to Jesus in Mark 9:24? Spend some time in prayer asking the Father to overcome your unbelief.

The apostle Paul said it best: “I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to guard what has been entrusted to me until that day” (2 Tim. 1:12). We tend to run to God for temporary relief. God
Is looking for people who will walk with Him in steadfast belief. So choose to believe. Those who trust in Him will never be put to shame
