Luke 11

1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.

15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

36 If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.

38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.

46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.

48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.

49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

  1. Will you be a Gatherer or a Scatterer, the option is yours???

21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
John 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

I think this is what it means to be a scatterer… We either go pick up the harvest, with love, and WITHOUT JUDGEMENT; FOR OUR JUDGEMENT CAN BE A STUMBLING BLOCK TO OUR BROTHERS OR SISTERS. If they do not return because you judged them or you made them feel unwelcome then you are a SCATTERER.
Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

Beware and remember we are all sinners bought and cleansed by HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD. Do not act holier than thou…. Keep it real, keep it simple, be HIS light in the world of darkness. For if you judge, the same way you will be judged.
Matthew 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

May the Lord Jesus Christ make us ALL GATHERERS FOR HIS KINGDOM specially this coming Sunday at Western Day!!!! Love them, Greet them, Help them, and above all SERVE THEM WITH HIS LOVE.

  2. 52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

Jesus was warning these religious leaders, you have the key of knowledge, but are not using this key. They only stood in the ways of others entering in and hindered people from coming to God and getting what they need.
These people were accusers looking for Jesus to do or say something wrong. Believe me I know this kind of people. I have had people come to me and tell me all the things I said wrong from the pulpit. They were so busy trying to catch me in a mistake they never heard anything good I said.
We should always be careful of a critical attitude and never let it take over our lives.

  3. 13. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

    10. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Our Heavenly Father is ready, willing and well able to give us the blessings we desire, we only need to ask and have the faith to receive.

  4. ipray…

Let my mind be of what JESUS wants and not my own.

Calling all messengers! Let us hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

  5. Verses 9-10 AMP “So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks and keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks and keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks and keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened.” Same verses MSG ” “Here’s what I’m saying: Ask and you’ll get; Seek and you’ll find; Knock and the door will open. “Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in.” Don’t quit!

Verse 23 MSG “This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse.” Same verse NLT “Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.” As Bro. Smith said Sunday….there isn’t any gray in the Book.

  6. What a blessed day this is and is going to be….because….

Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forevermore,
No other name, that can save, deliver and restore. Oh-oh-oh!
Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forevermore,
There is no other name that is greater than: Jesus!

    Sing with me…
    Faithful, powerful, wonderful: Jesus is,
    Beautiful, merciful, supernatural: Jesus is,
He’s highly, mighty, worthy: Jesus is,
    Gracious, patient, generous:
And there is no other name that is greater than: Jesus

    Excellent, magnificent, omnipotent: Jesus is,
    Living, giving, loving,
And there is no other name that is greater than,
No other name that is greater than: Jesus!

    Nothing can separate us,
    No weapon formed against us,
Can stand up to the name of,
Jesus, Jesus – no other name!

Jesus, Jesus – no other name that is greater than: Jesus_____!
..the same, yesterday, today and forevermore,
No other name can save, deliver and restore. (Oh-oh-oh!)
Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forevermore,

There is no other name that is greater than: Jesus!

  7. “No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who come in can see the light. -Luke 11:33

Let your light shine oh woo oh!
    Just as this song is permenatly written on my heart. As a constant reminder we are the light of the world. The world is a dark place, we need to be the light that Jesus shines thru to the hurting people! Don’t try to hide who you are or what you believe! Just as the song states;

“…giant fears are really small when all you see is God…”

    SO LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!

  8. Amen
acts 2 : 38 then peter said unto them repent and be baptized in the name of the lord jesus christ and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Ghost

  9. 43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

Appearing to do God’s work, but seeking praise for yourself. That’s taking praise from God.

  10. The audacity

    Luke 11:8 (NIV)
“8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.”

The word in the king James is importunity. This literally means his lack of regard for others, his shamelessness, and persistence.

Yes they are friends but his need goes above their relationship. He asks and doesn’t care what the neighbors think, or how late it is.

The man with the bread is disturbed, and inconvenienced but he still gets up.

Jesus isn’t saying we are bothering him. He is saying that he wants people to ask him, seek for him, and knock for him.

He is ready to answer, save, deliver, and give.

Humanly thinking we may say “the audacity to get up late and disturb a household and neighborhood over bread.”

I believe Jesus is saying “oh the audacity when my children do not ask me and try and do things on their own.”

  11. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

we should never give up but continue to pray and believe for the souls of our family and friends and acquaintances.

  12. iLove to eat the Word

34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

The key to having spiritual understanding is to remove the scales off our eyes. Job 41:15 “His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.”

    New Living Translation
Acts 9:18 Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.

Humility removes the scales and lets in the light.

  13. 38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

Traditions are great and should be remembered and respected, but they should never supersede the Word of God!

41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

  14. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Praying this prayer in repetition and praying this prayer from your heart are two totally different matters. When we truly can say “thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven,” and be okay with the answer we receive from Heaven, and mean it from our heart then we can honestly say we are living in trust that God knows what’s best in all situations.

  15. KEEP THE LIGHT ON

For years I heard the commercial by Tom Bodet for Motel 6 at the end of the advertisement he would always say at Motel 6 we’ll KEEP THE LIGHT ON. The thought stuck with me for years, of how frequent I have failed to KEEP THE LIGHT ON.

We learn in this passage the key to KEEP THE LIGHT ON is to govern or control what goes in the eye. What we watch, what we read, what we witness personally. This principal reveals the importance of what we do, what we read, what we watch and who our friends are.

Fill your heart, mind, soul and spirit with LIGHT today and be a LIGHT for JESUS in this darkened world.

    KEEP THE LIGHT ON

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  16. 33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

We are the light to this world, we do not need to be ashamed of who we are, but rather go out and proclaim Jesus to everyone! As the light of this world we do not need to let darkness creep into our mind, for if there is darkness in ourselves we cannot be the light for others!

  17. “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. (‭Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭9-10‬ NLT)

Not everything is meant to happen right away. Some things take persistence, some things take patience, some things take work. If we ask we will receive, we just might need to add a lil elbow grease in the process.

God is an on time God!

  18. Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattered.

Jesus warns that neutrality between Him and Satan is not possible.

Mark 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

  19. 28, “But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.”

KEEP means to take care of, to protect; guard; defend. It means to maintain, or cause to stay or continue in a specified condition. It means to have or to hold for future use or for a long time, to have or to hold and not let go.

The Word of God that we read everyday or is ministered to us should be kept. We need to take care of it, protect it, and guard it. We need to maintain it. We need to hold on to it, because we need it now, and we will need it in the future. We need to hold on to it and never let it go.

Thank You Lord for your Word. Your Word is Truth.

  20. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

What are you asking forf rom God? All he said is ask. So ask.

  21. “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. (‭Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭9‬ NLT)

Don’t give up. God will do it.

  22. 17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

Unity is a key component to a happy and stable home.

  23. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
This passages of scriptures speaks volumes of faith. There is nothing to head for God just got to believe his word his word doesn’t lie.

  24. 34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

The eye is the door to good and bad. We are the only responsibles for letting bad things into our body. Whatever we see, read, and watch will be led to our mind then our heart which will determine who we are. It may sound like something small but whatever we see is a connection to how we act, talk, walk, love, worship, and feel. Guard my eyes Jesus!!!!

  25. v3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

It’s GOD’S will that we come before HIM daily on prayer .

    iPray
    iRepent
    iPraise

  26. “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” One desiring to gather with the Lord (Jesus) must continually examine self, and pray for God’s (Jesus) will. “Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.” They were deceived, as Jesus (God) could see their heart then, just as he can today. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  27. There are no grey areas

23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

The people that walk the fenceihht as we’ll be on the wron side because here Jesus says if your not with him you are against him. There are things that we do that are not necessarily sin in themselves but they are not working for God. If we start to look at those things through this scripture we will see that somethings are distractions in disguise.

    1 Corinthians 10:23

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

If something seems to be in the grey you can put it on the wrong side.

    iSeek

  28. ” 28 Jesus commented, “Even more blessed are those who hear God’s Word and guard it with their lives!”MSG
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11
Be careful what you are letting in your heart. We are a blessed people and God is doing great things in POFW!

  29. Also…

7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

Tell those kids to get in their own beds!

  30. Understanding the word–
5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

    im·por·tu·nate adjective \im-ˈpȯr-chə-nət, -tyu̇-nət\
: making repeated or annoying requests or demands
    : causing annoyance or trouble

Repetition is not a bad thing. Yes it may get annoying, but the word clearly states that it has some advantages.

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (‭Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭1-8‬ KJV)

Prevent with The Lord we are to use that same repetitive behavior with our petitions to him. No it doesn’t mean that you need to beg or pray extremely repetitive prayers, but to restate you need until it is met. (All the while we should be thanking him for his goodness, faithfulness, mercies, kindness and our miracle in advance.)

  31. 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”
    (Luke 11:13 NASBStr)

Some use this scripture to claim that God will give any gift, not just the Holy Spirit, because of his goodness. While I believe God will answer prayers with blessings, using this scripture to support gifts outside of the Holy Ghost is out of context. There are a plethora of other scriptures to use.

This scripture puts it into perspective that God wants to fill this world with His Spirit.

  32. In this next verse, is exactly what we need. More of the Holy Ghost, Father I ask, in Jesus’s name, Amen.

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Imagine what would take place, if God, Our Father, were to utilize his entire hand in your life. No Devil in Hell, could withstand his Might Hand in your life………….

20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
    __________________________________________________________________
Key Factor here, in this verse is a key to growth and completion of your faith. You want to be blessed, “Hear” & “Keep”…………………………………………………………….

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

“FAITH COMETH BY _________, AND HEARING BY THE ________OF GOD”.
You can fill in the blanks…………………….
“Keep the Word of God, in your hearts”……….Jesus is the Word……..Let his word dwell in you richly………………………be blessed Church.

  33. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Ask, seek, and knock, they all require action. We have to do our part and allow God to do his. It all requires an action. From the beginning God established how men need to work, have some actions and live life. First action or job of man was to tend the garden. We all need and want something and God can do all things. It can be as easy as asking. We have to work as if it depends on us to make it happen and we have to pray as if it all depends on Him. We must take action

  34. 33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

Makes me remember of the time when I was young that I would hide my beliefs from my friends, most of my friends didn’t know I was a christian. I thank God my children are given this opportunity to be raised in a church as POFW, They may not understand it right now but I’m setting them up for success. To be those God fearing, devil stompin, on Fire kids I wanted to be.

  35. 27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

We who have not seen the son of God are more blessed to believe in him than those who saw him in that day & time. Praise God for the power of his word! Even though we have not heard Jesus speak these words-the written word still carries the same power & authority when read & spoken today as when Jesus first uttered them!

  36. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

  37. Hunger

31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

There are many excuses in our walk with God for not seeking Him as we should, whether it be in church attendance, personal devotion, serving, evangelism, etc. Would the Queen of Sheba put us to shame in comparison to her hunger and sacrifice? We must ask, how much *does* it mean to us to have access to Jesus? How much do we truly hunger for Him?

    Luke 6:21
Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

    Luke 6:25
Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

  38. Ask and you will receive !! 9. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matt. 7 : 7 10. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12. Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scoppion? 13. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Ho’-ly Spir’-it to them that ask him? I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!!

  39. 3 Give us this day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
