Luke 20

1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

2 And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?

3 And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me:

4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

8 And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.

11 And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.

12 And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out.

13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.

17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.

20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:

22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?

23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?

24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.

25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.

26 And they could not take hold of his words before the people: and they marvelled at his answer, and held their peace.

27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him,

28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

29 There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children.

30 And the second took her to wife, and he died childless.

31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died.

32 Last of all the woman died also.

33 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.

34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.

41 And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son?

42 And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

43 Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

44 David therefore calleth him Lord, how is he then his son?

45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

  1. 13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do?

This is amazing, these people are much like people today, they reject Jesus Christ when God came to earth wrapped in flesh. Many people are just like these not willing to allow God to be a part of their life. Willing to destroy the heir to the throne to protect there interest, but not knowing who he is.
Yes Jesus came to his own and they received him not so he turned to the gentiles, (us) for a people to worship him. God is looking for people to worship him, adore and bow down before him. We must remember he is God and seeks people that have the right attitude about praise and worship.
Jesus was rejected, the chief corner stone by the builders, (not good enough) how absurd can this be the great master builder the creator of all things, REJECTED.
Now he is become the head of the corner, if we get anything from God we will receive from Jesus Christ, THE HEAD CORNER STONE.
The worst part of this is we can either fall on Jesus or let Jesus fall on us!
If we fall on the mercy of Jesus Christ, it can change us from sinners to saints.
If Jesus fall on us he will destroy us from within and without, grind us to powder.
What do we want from God and what are we doing to go on from here. Lord make something of me today for you!!!

  2. 22 Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no?
23 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
24 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s.
25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.

There is something to be said to use your word carefully and with delicacy. God in His great wisdom the first thing he does is recognize the enemy for what he is, a counterfeit, a wanna be, a trickier, word twister. Jesus had to pick His words carefully and in order. He wanted to teach them that He was already was in control and aware of what they wanted to do to Him. He needed to make clear the difference between men’s law and the Law of God. It is up to us to show the world which word is correct and which one should be honor for ever. Thank you Jesus for your wisdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. 23. But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?

There is no out-smarting God! Some people think that they can fool God, or that they know a loophole that excepts them from obeying certain laws…wrong! He set forth the plan that all have to follow, and there are no mistakes or contradictions in the Word. Time is better spent learning how to live by it that wasted trying to get around it. Don’t tempt Him, He perceives your craftiness.

  4. In reading this chapter where the religion scholars and high priests were watching for a chance to get him, hoping to trick him into saying something that would get him in trouble with the law, made me think of people today. So many are trying to make excuses as to why they don’t serve our Creator. The reasons why they think its to hard, to many rules, to many obligations…..the list goes on and on. We need to be very careful before that stone comes crashing down and our time is up. We are not promised tomorrow….the time is NOW….we need to get back to the heart of worship. Stop listening to the lies of this world and its empty promises!

  5. Many times Jesus answered questions with a question or with a parable. He caused the people to think and reason the answer for themselves. Most of our questions today can be reasoned out on our own if we will but study his word, listen to the preached word and pray. God will show us.

  6. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

    Amen. I love you Jesus.

I know I make mistakes but he’s alive and I can only go to Him for repentance. He is alive!!!!! 🙂

  7. Render Self

Luke 20:25 (Young’s Literal Translation of the Holy Bible – YL)
” 25 and he said to them, `Give back, therefore, the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God;'”

Render – (Olive Tree Enhanced Strong’s Dictionary) g0591. ἀποδίδωμι apodidōmi; from 575 and 1325; to give away, i.e. up, over, back, etc. (in various applications): — deliver (again), give (again), (re-)pay(-ment be made), perform, recompense, render, requite, restore, reward, sell, yield.
    AV (48) – pay 9, give 9, render 9, reward 7, sell 3, yield 2, misc 9;
to deliver, to give away for one’s own profit what is one’s own, to sellto pay off, discharge what is duea debt, wages, tribute, taxes, produce duethings promised under oathconjugal dutyto render account
to give back, restoreto requite, recompense in a good or a bad sense

At the time of this conversation a bitterness had grown between the Jewish people and the Romans. Many taught and believed the promised Messiah would deliver them from Roman bondage. However Jesus came to deliver us from spiritual bondage. Judas was most likely a sympathizer for Jewish deliverance, and his allegiance could have played a role in his betrayal.

The Pharisees sought to catch Jesus in a trap of sedition, and rebellion against the government. However Jesus answer cut right to the core of these religious men.

He basically said this. Give back to Ceasar what is Ceasars, and give back to God the things that are God’s.

The word tells us the earth is the lord’s and the fullness thereof. This means that he wants everything that is his back.

This offended and silenced the Pharisees because the thing Jesus as asking for was their lives. He wanted their complete, total, living, breathing, eating, sleeping, working lives. He wanted all of them.

Jesus wants the same today. He wants us. He died for our sins to give us freedom and now he wants us.

Romans 12:1-2 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
“1 I therefore beg of you, please, brethren, through the instrumentality of the aforementioned mercies of God, by a once-for-all presentation to place your bodies at the disposal of God, a sacrifice, a living one, a holy one, well-pleasing, your rational, sacred service, [rational, in that this service is performed by the exercise of the mind]. 2 And stop assuming an outward expression that does not come from within you and is not representative of what you are in your inner being but is patterned after this age; but change your outward expression to one that comes from within and is representative of your inner being, by the renewing of your mind, resulting in your putting to the test what is the will of God, the good and well-pleasing and complete will, and having found that it meets specifications, place your approval upon it.”

How can we give ourselves completely to God?

    Pray.

    Luke 18:1 (KJV Strong’s)
“1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”

    Ephesians 6:18 (KJV Strong’s)
” 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

    Luke 21:36 (KJV Strong’s)
” 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

    Romans 12:12 (KJV Strong’s)
” 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”

    Colossians 4:2 (KJV Strong’s)
” 2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”

Prayer moves us out of the way, and allows God to live through us. We must pray, and he will lead guide and direct us.

Prayer renders our voice to God, which then compels us to render everything else.

  8. Jesus replied, “Marriage is for people here on earth. But in the age to come, those worthy of being raised from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage. And they will never die again. In this respect they will be like angels. They are children of God and children of the resurrection. (‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭34-36‬ NLT)

  9. iLove to eat the Word

3 But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?

The Word of God is forever settled in the heavens, they tried to use his words against him, but that was impossible…he knows all our thoughts and we will never get one thing past the King!

  10. 1 And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

We find in every setting in this chapter the Lord is teaching in parables and by example. “On one of those days” tells us that this was a common practice.

Sharing Jesus to everyone we meet should be a common practice. Lifestyle Evangelism should be as much a part of our lives as eating in the natural.

  11. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

I praise a God of living not of the dead!!

  12. 20 And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.

These spies, pretending to be honest men, flattered Jesus before asking them their trick question, hoping to catch him off guard, but Jesus knew what they were trying to do and stayed out of their trap. You cannot fool my God! Beware of flattery. With God on our side we can detect it and avoid the trap that usually follows.

  13. The resurrection
    Verse 27-46

The Sadducees didn’t even believe in the resurrection, and yet the question Jesus about it. Two interesting thoughts to entertain. Some people will bring up questions about things they don’t believe and why are people who don’t believe involved in religious affairs? I want to address, in part, the latter.

The Sadducees were born into the positions that they held. In our terms, it’s like our 3rd and 4th generation Pentecostals. Some are just favored because of their heritage. It become a problem when those people are not sincere in their faith-or lose it-and stay in the church. They become more loving of man’s honor than God’s. Jesus warns us about these types of people. Our company with them should be limited or absent.

  14. THE HOPE OF THE LIVING

38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

GOD is a Spirit and lives through the spirit or breath of man. GOD Is seeking vessels to LIVE through. As we LIVE in HIM we move in HIM and have our being in HIM.

We honor the LORD and allow HIM to be our GOD when we give HIM our lives; our thoughts, our praise, our tongues, our will, our dreams. LIVE unto GOD and HE is GOD of the LIVING!

    iRepent
    iPray
    iPraise

  15. “Well then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” (‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭25‬ NLT)

You can’t trick God he has all the answers. Give what belongs to God and give what belongs to others

  16. 39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

40 And after that they durst not ask him any question at all.
Why would you question God about the things He has already said or done ?
He is God the one that made us so we should realize the things that He says or does is for our good ! We may not like the trial we are going thru but We will be stronger when we come out of it ! You always have to train to get stronger in anything you do naturaly so we also have to do things to make us stronger spiritually! I do not won’t to be a weak Christian, so that every little thing that comes along can knock me down ! I want to be the one that when the devil sees me he says” oh no not her again “”. ! God I give you praise for what you are doing in my life and the great things that coming !!! Hallelujah

  17. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Hallelujah!!! He is God of the living 🙂 so let us spread his gospel so people know that He is a God of the LIVING 🙂 Thank You Jesus!!!

  18. vs-34

In the resurrection ther is no marriage. This does not mean wives and husbands are separated. It simply means that the closeness here on earth is a symbol of a reality we will experience in glory. The joy a married couple finds in there union will not be taken away but will be multiplied as we experience a closeness with others that is beyond us here and now.

  19. 45 Then in the audience of all the people he said unto his disciples,

    46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

Notice He did not speak behind closed doors or to a small select few but to all the people. Somethings have to be exposed in front of everyone in order to save the whole. Grandma always says one spoiled apple will ruin the whole bunch.

Warning..I do not recommend any and everyone being this type of mouth piece but honor those that God uses in this manner. The purpose is to save not hurt. We must pray first that he is not speaking to us and then second for those that he is speaking to. With a sincere heart pray for them that God would deviler and heal.

  20. v2 And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority .

Scripture makes the reality of GOD’S authority and power very plain .

The psalmist declared, ” GOD hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God” Psalm 62:11

Consider JESUS’ Words : ” All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
    Matthew 28:18

HE IS the. ALMIGHTY GOD and has ALL POWER and AUTHORITY
Only one Savior exists JESUS CHRIST.

Satan also questioned the authority of JESUS. Each time, JESUS responded in power with the WORD OF GOD, and each time satan fled.

Thinking about what Bishop Tom Foster
taught in leadership about the three areas the enemy would attack was position
We should never put JESUS on trail as the teachers of the law did in order to maintain our positions of influence or power.

Satan , came to hurt us.
We are able to prevent this from happening by maintaining a daily relationship with the LORD. Prayer, daily Bible reading , faithful church attendance , and submission to Pastoral authority will greatly strengthen our lives .
Praise GOD , JESUS has come that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.

    John 10:10

    iRepent
    iPray
    iPraise

  21. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Hallelujah my God is alive!! It’s through Him that we live, move, and breath; praise God!

  22. 14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

They had already beat and sent away the husbandmen’s servants, and sent his heir, one greater than the servants. The reasoned among themselves that they could steal the inheritance if they killed him. Such is the same for the prophets (servants) God had sent, and here the parable depicting Jesus the heir and Son of God. Killing Jesus would not allow them to claim any inheritance, this fantasy is falicy. The wicked will kill the messenger, but they cannot kill the message. The Gospel which is God (Jhn 1:1) cannot be stopped.

Isa 55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

  23. NLT 2 They demanded, “By what authority are you doing all these things? Who gave you the right?”

The priests only wanted to try and have a back and forth discussion with Jesus, they really weren’t interested in knowing the truth. Jesus knew this. But we know, that God gave Jesus the authority to do all things. When we submit to God’s authority by choice, accepting salvation, repenting of our sins, we are serving him in all areas.

Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

  24. “But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?” Their hearts were on self and not on God (Jesus), as such they tried to tempt, cause deception and find fault. It was very unwise for them to so do, for the Creator (Jesus) and Judge (Jesus) was well aware of their hearts intent, just as he is today. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  25. 38, “For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living; for all live unto him.”

When we die out to sin, and repent, are baptized in Jesus Name, and filled with the Holy Ghost, this is when we start living. We no longer are dead in our sins, but God has given us life and life more abundantly. Now, we live unto God. We walk in His Spirit, follow His Commandments, and work for His Kingdom.

Romans 6:11, “Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
1 Cor. 5:15, “And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

  26. In this story of the vineyard man. My thoughts went to how we feel. As though we try to do our best and yet those around us seem to be against us. As I have heard. Let God sort them out. If God be for is who can be against us? No one. So stop fighting those hinge which are the lords.

  27. Sonship

13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.

    Galatians 4:6-7
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

    John 1:12-13
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

In times past, Jesus sent prophets to reach for His people, to call them to repentance and covenant relationship with Him. But now that the church has been birthed, it has shifted to every child of God being sent, called to be a herald of the gospel message. We have come into the Kingdom and now Jesus sends not simply servants but He sends sons. Since His ascension and subsequent outpouring of His Spirit, we as born again believers become the “Heir sent” to this world, being heirs together with Christ.

When it came to proclaiming the gospel, Jesus could have sent angels or just any people He chose, but instead He sent specifically His church. He knew it was not a job for just any servant but for a son. And so do we find that it goes deeper. Being born again changes our spiritual status, but many times it takes longer for our hearts to catch up. Inwardly, we usually still struggle at first with the mindset of a servant just as Israel after coming out of Egyptian bondage. If we are truly to fulfill the great commission and do the works of our Father in hear valentine we must go beyond the mindset of a servant and step into true sonship.

In submitting to allow God to form us into true sons, we begin to find what it truly is to be an heir of the King and taste of our full birthright as His children.

    John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

  28. God doesn’t show up to dead church

38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

I always want to sit in the front of the church. I have set there almost the while time that I have attended the POFW. Yesterday I found that when I can e in from my van route that there were no seats available on the front so I set toward the back. Although I am happy to set anywhere or even stand in the church and I am thankful that I have the opportunity to be in the house of The Lord, I was reminded yesterday why I don’t sit in the back. When you are in the back you can see everything. You can see the the ones that affirm the preaching of the Word and you can also see those that are DEAD.

I saw a little lady twice my age out worship our whole church.

When I first came to POFW everyone was like her. We would get lost in the Holy Ghost and God would take over. I’m looking across the sanctuary feeling the urge to yell out ” WHAT HAPPENED????? ”

What are we doing just laying back when it’s time to fight? My heart crus out for IT! IT is what broke the burdens off my life! IT is what drew me out of darkness and into his marvelous light! IT is what kept me in times of trouble! IT is what draws myself and my family back every service! IT is not gone but IT is not like it used to be.

    IT is life!
IT is what makes God my God!
IT is what makes me his child!
IT is what makes the difference!

I want all off IT back and more!

Let’s live because God is not coming back for a dead church

    iLive

  29. Now tell us—is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”

“Show me a Roman coin. Whose picture and title are stamped on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. “Well then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.” So they failed to trap him by what he said in front of the people. Instead, they were amazed by his answer, and they became silent. (‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭22, 24-26‬ NLT)

There is no fooling God. You are wasting your time to think you can deceive Him from the truth. It’s by His grace and mercy alone that gives us our daily breath, who are we to take that luxury and spit in His face? Think again before you think about playing games with God, it will get you nowhere fast.

  30. But those who are considered worthy to gain that other world and that future age and to attain to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage; For they cannot die again, but they are angel-like and equal to angels. And being sons of and sharers in the resurrection, they are sons of God. (‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭35-36‬ AMP)

I can’t wait to get to that place where there’s no more death. And where we’ll be angel-like.

God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away. [Isa. 25:8; 35:10.] And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine). [Isa. 43:19.] (‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭4-5‬ AMP)

  31. He is always watching , always watchingf,??

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, which should feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor. (‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭20‬ KJV)

  32. 46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

47 Which devour widows’ houses, and for a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.

    James 3:1
” My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

The word masters here is: g1320. διδάσκαλος didaskalos; from 1321; an instructor (genitive case or specially): — doctor, master, teacher.

A scribe is a religious teacher. Teachers of Gods word are held to a higher standard. Be careful to desire position for the spotlight or public attention. With position comes higher responsibility and expectations. Mans accolades aren’t worth the eternal cost. Don’t fill a position because of the prestige, fill it because of calling and anointing.

  33. 4 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men?

5 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not?

6 But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.

7 And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was.

Do not let fear and pride keep you from salvation. They did want to answer out of fear that they may get attacked by the ppl and their own horrendous pride which did not want to recognize the things was doing because they “knew it all” Imagine what could have happened if their answer was one that Jesus could right there corrected? We know that He is a merciful God. If after their corrrection they had repented and asked forgiveness.. Imagine how close they were to salvation!?? Likewise many encounter themselves today. The fear of if I go up to the altar people may say I’m a sinner and the pride of now that’s not for me.. The reality is that we are all sinners in need of God’s merciful love, correction and guidance. Pray that fear and pride does not stand in between you and your savior, the only one who can offer you true salvation, Jesus Christ.

  34. 17. And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18. Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. Dan. 2 : 34 I Love You Jesus !!!!

  35. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

How important it is to be Alive in Christ, how else will you hear the last trump if your dead. There was a time were I was like it is said, “walking dead”. I had all of the characteristics of being alive but was hollow and empty on the inside. Just going thru the motions. God struck me with hunger to seek Him and he pillows me out of the grave. Thank you Jesus
