Luke 22

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

49 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.

55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

63 And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

64 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

65 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

  1. The importance of studying God’s Word, the Bread of Life, and Jesus is that bread we need. We must eat & drink of him whom saves us………………….

19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Another highly important issue for all of us is the importance of prayer. How God could send you an Angel to strengthen you. If, he did for Jesus, he can do it for you. Remember, we aren’t as strong as Jesus is! We need all the help we can get and sometimes with extra boost of power. Jesus prayed so hard, he sweat blood for us! He loves us so much, it is unimaginable how much he loves us.
    “Our God Reigns”…………………………………………………………………………………

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

See how Jesus Christ believed in the power of prayer………………………

  2. Love and Service
v 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth .

Wow!!! JESUS was only hours from facing rejection, humiliation , torture , and Calvary
It’s hard to comprehend the pressure HE was under. As our LORD addressed uncomforable subjects such as uncleanness, betrayal , and denial .HIS LOVE prevailed over fear, and over the ugliness of Calvary .

HIS focus and love was on HIS disciples till the end . Or what they thought was the end was just the beginning .
How HE LOVES us and how the power of HIS LOVE can transform a human life is the greatest miracle.
LORD help me to follow your example in serving and loving you and others introducing them to YOU ..

  3. 47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

Jesus being God manifested in the flesh, knew Judas and what he was doing. Jesus had already said at supper: he that dips with me is whom will betray me. Jesus did not get angry with Judas, but asked him betrayeth thou me with a kiss.
THE KISS is one of the greatest symbols of love in society today, even the scriptures teach to greet one another with a holy kiss.
    2 Cor 13:12
12 Greet one another with an holy kiss.
I am not promoting kissing in greeting each other!
This is a symbol of love and appreciation of each other in this day.

Betrayal by KISSING is by far an awkward sign! Judas in his warped way of thinking was willing to betray the Lord. Even took 30 pieces of silver for payment.
When people decide to leave the church they are full of excuses to them they are reasons.
Why would we leave a God that loves us and when we betray him to go out into the world he still loves us. I have saw people leave a power packed service that was full of a move of God and walk out on God. yes God gave them a chance and touched them with his powerful spirit (HIS PRESENCE) yet they chose to leave even embracing all the church members on their way out, never to be seen in the house of God again.
BETRAYAL has a odd way of working in people’s lives!
Lord help us to not fall into the trap Judas fell into as a betrayer, when he realized his KISS did not help he he went out and hung himself.

    Matt 27:3-5

3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

  4. In this chapter you can see where the high priests and religious scholars were looking for a way to do away with Jesus but, fearful of the people, they were also looking for a way to cover their tracks as verses 1-2 MSG state. They were scheming behind closed doors. As the beginning of the following verses 3-6 MSG say “That’s when Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot. He was one of the Twelve. Leaving the others, he conferred with the high priests and the Temple guards about how he might betray Jesus to them.” Judas had to leave the others in order to scheme against Jesus just as the high priests and religious scholars. This spoke to me about how dangerous it is when you leave your covering, leave your holy surroundings and you yourself give Satan the opportunity to enter as he did Judas. We have to stay on our toes as Jesus told Simon in verses 31-32 MSG “Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from me, like chaff from wheat. Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out.” It comes down to prayer as Jesus told the disciples in the end of verse 46 MSG “……Pray so you won’t give in to temptation.”

  5. DIVINE APPOINTMENT

We read today of the second account of the LORD executing a DIVINE APPOINTMENT for his disciples. In Luke 19 the Lord sent his disciples to obtain a colt that was yet broke and the disciples brought that animal to JESUS. Today we find again that JESUS sends his disciples to obtain a place for passover, and they made ready the room provided.

In both of these testimonies we find that the omnipotent GOD that we love and serve, spoke to 2 distinct parties at the same time in regards to the same matter.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

We are unaware of the words the LORD is speaking on our behalf today, we must be careful to be sensitive to the LORD in regards to the VOICE of GOD and divine appointments of PROVISION. In both of these testimonies the LORD supplied a need through the obedience of his disciples.

Choose today to obey the LORD and Provision will happen by the direction and hand of GOD. The LORD is speaking to someone with resources on our behalf.

  6. Refuse Denial

The enemy knows that we possess power greater than him. He walks as a toothless roaring lion in the world helpless against the church.

However he knows if he can get us to deny Jesus we will start down a slippery slope into his evil grasp.

    Luke 22:56-57 (KJV Strong’s)
” 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. 57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.”

The first attack was on Peter knowing Jesus. He denied knowing God.

The enemy will try and get us crossways with God. He wants us to be offended, and walk away.

This starts when we stop spending time with God. Slacking off on prayer, and reading the word weakens our relationship with him.

The second attack was on who Peter was.

Matthew 16:18 (KJV Strong’s) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

    Luke 22:58 (KJV Strong’s)
” 58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.”

We are mighty warriors, soldiers, and emissaries from heaven. We are blood bought and born again. We are the apple of his eye and his children. When the devil gets us to forget this he asserts dominance.

    Luke 22:60 (KJV Strong’s)
” 60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.”

The final attack was on the word of God

Peter had been taught by Jesus. He spent time with him, and experience with him. When he said he knew not what he was saying he was publicly rejecting the word of God spoken to him. He rejected the creative power of the word in his life.

He was now reduced to what he was before he met Jesus.

Yet this is a lie. Peter was still Peter, and the Lord promised him he would be converted back.

To refuse denial we must cling to who he is, who we are, and what he says.

  7. iLove to eat the Word

1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

I received an interesting thought as I read the blog this morning. The chief priests sought how they might betray Jesus, but they feared the people. If they would have tried to take Jesus in the midst of the people, the crowd would have defended him. They had already thrown palm leaves down and had accepted him as King singing Hosanna to him. The thought is this, the chief priests grabbed Jesus in the night and beat him in the night and when the multitude saw him he they saw him in captivity and their hope of seeing the Messiah was crushed. They felt betrayed and they felt as if Jesus was a fraud.

The same is true with many in the world and church today. As long as everything is going good, they have a form of religion, but as soon as the unexpected happens, they place the blame on God and also the blame on themselves. (Example: I was thinking my ministry was about to take off, but now my hope is dead because it didn’t happen like I thought it should have.)

Our hope is never dead when we put our faith in Jesus, it might not happen the way we think it should, but News Flash…we are not God…God will resurrect our dreams if we do not give up.

  8. jesus’s diciples didn’t believe that Jesus was risen from the dead because they hadn’t seen him yet but as time went on more and more people started seeing him so more people started to believe that he was risen.the diciples new that Jesus was God,so why couldn’t they believe that Jesus was real? Because seeing is believing, but we can’t let that effect our relation ship with Jesus.

  9. Is your faith strong enough to be shifted as wheat???

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

As I see all the lost of our church family and look at the pain and misunderstanding crawling in our heart, I can only see that the enemy desires to shift us. We need to stand close to each other lift each and everyone up in prayer so God may grant them peace and comfort and help them understand that His plan is perfect and all we have to do is continue to work His Harvest. Continue to serve each other as He serve when He was among us. PUT ALL DIFFERENCES A SIDE, PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, LIFT EACH OTHER UP, INTERCEDE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE STRENGTH IN UNITY. SERVE ALWAYS SERVE FOR IT IS IN THE SERVING THAT GOD IS GLORIFIED. IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

  10. Luke 22:39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place he said to them. Pray that you will not fall into temptation. He with drew about a stone’s throw beyond them knelt down and prayed. Father if you are willing take this cup from me yet not my will but your s be done. An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthen him. And being in anguish he prayed more earnestly and his sweat was like drop s of blood falling to the ground.

  11. And just as my Father has granted me a Kingdom, I now grant you the right to eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. And you will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭29-30‬ NLT)

It’s our turn to tell people about the gospel.
God has done his job and now it’s our turn. Then we get to go into Gods kingdom

  12. 47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

Be careful little mouth what you say! God said if you deny him in front of your piers, he will deny you on the day of judgment. We do not need to deny Jesus but proclaim him to he world. But just saying you don’t know Jesus isn’t the only way to deny him, you can also deny him by just the words coming out of your mouth, by speaking negative, it’s not God’s will for us to talk negative so by doing this you are denying Jesus. Lord help me to always build people up not tear them down, and to always proclaim your word not hide it.

  13. 22:47 Modern evangelism. The Bible tells us that Judas led a “multitude” to Jesus. His motive, however, wasn’t to bring them to the Savior for salvation. Modern evangelism is also bringing “multitudes” to Jesus. Their motive may be different from Judas’s, but the end result is the same. Just as the multitudes that Judas directed to Christ fell back from the Son of God, statistics show that up to 90% of those coming to Christ under the methods of modern evangelism fall away from the faith. Their latter end becomes worse than the first. They openly crucify the Son of God afresh.

It is important that we disciple those we bring into the faith. We cannot get discouraged by the ones who don’t come back. We have to be focused on the ones that want a relationship with Christ. It is they whom we disciple.

  14. 60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

There is forgiveness with the Lord as in this case with Peter. We cannot go too far for his love to draw us back unto him! Put the things of this world behind you so you can focus on the cross-reach for the lost. We know he loves us all & desires us to saved even more than we do ourselves.

  15. “That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” If the Lord (Jesus) told those that sat at supper with him; “Pray that ye enter not into temptation” how much the more should one do today (now). What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  16. 31, “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:” (KJV)
31, “Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to seperate all of you from me, like chaff from wheat.” (MSG)

It is the devil’s desire to take each one of us and sift us as wheat. He wants to pulverize and grind us down. He wants to make us feel strain in our lives. He wants us to feel stressed, depressed, and “burned out.” He wants to seperate each one of us from God and take the flock of God and scatter us.
But there is one thing we have learned from Pastor’s teaching, and that is, there is no such thing as “Burn Out” when we are walking with God.
When we walk in the Spirit, He should always be shining brightly in us.

Eph. 6:11says, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Be Aware and Be Protected and Put on the Whole Armour of God!

  17. After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you. (‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭20‬ NLT)

I know it was the Blood, I know it was the Blood, I know it was the Blood that saved me… I thank Jesus for His blood that cleanses and covers me.

They believed, obeyed and moved, and God provided was was needed.

  18. 3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

4 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

6 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

If sin is in your heart, you will always make a way to participate in it.

Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

  19. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Satan’s desire is to take everything that God has given us and destroy us spiritually. He wants us to simply be a story of a spiritual failure and defeat. But there is good news
JESUS has prayed for us and if He prays for us then we’re sure to be blessed. After God blesses us and keeps us it’s our job to strengthen our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

  20. 12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

We must make room for the master. Prepare a place for him and allow him to live in our hearts. We must know and understand that God is a gentleman. He will not go where he is not wanted. Therefore we must make sure to make room for him and allow him to live in us. But it was the upper room where they dwelt. So we too must make it a top priority to give God the best/highest part of ourselves.

  21. Luke 22:29,30
The disciples’ diligence will not go unrewarded.
See Matthew 19:28 they put their faith in Jesus as the Messiah.

  22. Common ground

19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Jesus alway broke bread or ate with the disciples. I’m sure that there are bible scholars out there that will be able to find other reasons why but this was the only thing he had in common with them. He found common ground with those he was teaching so they could relate to him.
This example is how we are effective witnesses for him. We have to dig sometimes but there is always common ground. When we find it the door is open and the word can penetrate easily. Help us Lord to be sensitive to your spirit to lead is into that common ground.

  23. unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

God has specific plans for us, if we are just willing to ask for his directions and his will he will guide us through them. Had the disciples left without asking they would have likely had a frustrating and unfruitful trip, but because they asked what Jesus’s will was before leaving they had a very successful trip. Sometimes Gods directions seem strange ( like a man with a pitcher of water would have been to the disciples) but if we follow them we can see Gods plan unfold perfectly.

  24. In The Heart

40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

Our victory or defeat starts in our heart. The place of our emotions, desires, will, etc will drive our direction and how we respond to influences around us. If we have fixed our heart upon Christ, we will find a draw towards righteousness. But if we do not crucify our flesh, we will find that tugging towards sin and carnality instead. In prayer, we find the opportunity for God’s Spirit to flood our hearts afresh with His well of living water springing up within us, offering refreshing and renewing in Him.

    John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

    Jude 1:20-21
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

    Romans 5:5 NLT
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

  25. And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. (‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭41-42‬ KJV)
    Humility verses pride.
Pride said, if he is God let him save himself. We also see, in this portarayal , what humility looks like as well. Humility says thT we get what others want. It says that I do not deserve the good things that Jesus has done for me.

Lord I want to be humble.

  26. “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.” (‭Luke‬ ‭22‬:‭46‬ NLT)

It’s not a time to be lazy…God gives instruction on how to overcome our obstacles, it would be foolish to ignore Him

Take the time to listen to His voice. The more time spent with God the stronger you’ll become

  27. 56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

We witness to many people, people we know and people we don’t know. We must be ready for when strangers come up and say I know who you are!

  28. 41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

When we get to the place where we truly allow His will to prevail over ours, we will be strengthened and receive direction for our lives.

  29. Preparing the Passover !!!! 7. Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the Passover must be killed. Matt. 26 : 17 8. And he sent Pe’-ter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the Passover, that we may eat. 9. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? 10. And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 11. And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the Passover with my disciples? 12. And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. 13. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. YOU ARE HOLY LORD !!!! I PRAISE YOU JESUS !!!!

  30. 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Amen Jesus not my will but your will Jesus! If I don’t do your will I loose the opportunity to become blessed. No matter the situation we always need to trust and believe in God. If we don’t walk and follow Him we are going to suffer consequences. We have to stay faithful to Him and listen and obey His Word. Nothing in this world is worth trading our souls for. Let’s be sensitive and do what God is calling us to do because we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me 🙂 IN YOU I TRUST JESUS!
