John 2

1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

  1. You see in this next verse, how Jesus saves the best for last, and just a reminder that we are currently in those last days. So, it is so beautifully powerful to have an great expectation of what we are going to see in these last days. Could it be that there is really a New Special Endtimes Annoiting for his Church today?……..Jesus manifest forth your Glory Lord, and they believed. “As Samson would say, just one more time, Oh Lord.”…………………………………………………………………………..

Jesus Christ shows us that there is a righteous anger, and also how he can turn the tables of the money exchangers. This gives hope for our financial situations today, due to how he can flip things to our favor, and make that devil restore all that he has taken, held, or hindered. Prayer is still the pinnacle thing here, and God’s house is the house of prayer. It concerns, me today how people sell things in the Church, especially in these so called Mega Churches. What he has done in the past, he can repeat it again.

    15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

  2. Thieves or Leaders????
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
    15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

I sometimes wonder, what will our Lord do when He returns to this earth and finds this “Religious Leaders” on TV. Selling little handkerchiefs anointed for a price… or asking people to send in their money and prayer request, when is our responsibility to pray one for another, not for a price but because of Love. I look back on time and remember the Salvation Certificates that were sold and sign by the Pope guaranteeing a sure way to heaven. THE PRICE OF SALVATION WAS PAID IN FULL UPON A CROSS BY JESUS!!!! It is free for the taking all you have to do is REPENT, BE BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES. Yes, it is that simple, do not fall for a counterfeit salvation, get the real one, Free of charge, yours for the taking…ALL PRICE PAID BY JESUS CHRIST.

  3. 11. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

    I need Your Glory
    I want Your Glory
Less of me and more of You
    Is what I need
    Show me Your Glory
    Show me Your Power
Less of me and more of You
    Is what I need

Real Wine From the True Vine

“3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.”

This scripture almost seems a little out of place when one first sees it. Jesus was around 30 years old and this setting is where he performs his first miracle. This scripture gives us insight into the very mindset of the way that Jesus thought.

When the mother of Jesus told him they had no wine, immediately his eternal mind saw the Last Supper.

    Mark 14:22-24American Standard Version (ASV)

22 And as they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take ye: this is my body.

23 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them: and they all drank of it.

24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.

When Jesus says “My hour is not yet come” He is basically saying “Hey, I still have 3 1/2 more years to go on this planet” The thought process of Jesus was always on the actual purpose of his mission…Even at the beginning of that mission.

  5. 19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Praise the Lord, he rose. Because he rose, we are able to have a chance at eternal life. The same power and authority he rose with, he has given us access to through the Holy Ghost. There is no God like our God.

  6. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

When Jesus gives to us he does it with Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. So what reason do we have not to do the same for Jesus because like it has been said countless amount of times we cannot out give God. When we give to God out of love and even out of obedience we should give the most that we possible can! I would have hated to be the servant that came back with an almost full water pot when everyone else’s was running over; but some times we do that in the spirit. God wants to do a miricle in our lives and we give the bare minimum for him to work with. I want my pot to be
running over with blessings so i will give to him with the same Good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over

  7. What’s in the heart?

During the time he was in Jerusalem, those days of the Passover Feast, many people noticed the signs he was displaying and, seeing they pointed straight to God, entrusted their lives to him. But Jesus didn’t entrust his life to them. He knew them inside and out, knew how untrustworthy they were. He didn’t need any help in seeing right through them. (‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭23-25‬ MSG)

We can try and say that we are this way, but, as the saying goes your ‘actions speak louder than your words!

It truly does matter in what is in the heart of man.
As Christians the fruit of the spirit should be known in every believer.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, (‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬ KJV)

When people are around you, can they see this in you? Or is it nothing but trash coming out of you?
Eventually the true you will be displayed…
    As the scripture says:
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭20‬ KJV)
Be honest with yourself, look in the mirror, are you ok with what you’ve become?

  8. Verse 22 AMP “When therefore He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this. And so they believed and trusted and relied on the Scripture and the word (message) Jesus had spoken.” Same verse NIV “After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.” This verse reminded me that if God has spoken something into your life, hold onto it….remember it, recall it and believe because it will come to pass in His time!

Verse 17 AMP “And His disciples remembered that it is written [in the Holy Scriptures], Zeal (the fervor of love) for Your house will eat Me up. [I will be consumed with jealousy for the honor of Your house.]” This reminded me of what Pastor spoke about the other night. We have to know what is going on in our own homes (with our children). We cannot allow for the things of this world to be being purchased in our own homes, our own phones through whatever venue……ITunes, etc. The end of Joshua 24:15 NKJV “…..But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””

  9. 13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

    15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

THE PASSOVER is the greatest feast of Christianity, and Jesus goes to the Passover and finds those that were buying and selling in the Temple.
We should offer sacrifice to God, but it should be from the heart not what is convenient for us at the time. The people in that day were all about convenience think about people today. We want to do what is convenient for us to put us out the least.
God will not accept an half hearted sacrifice, we must give God what he is asking for if we want to be rewarded.

  10. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
When Jesus tells us something to do, do we just halfway do it ? He told them to fill the water pots up.They could have just filled them half way and they would have been easier to carry ! This is what some of us would have done because it would not have been as much trouble for us ! Shame on us!!! When God ask us to do something , which most of the time it will come thru the man of God , we need to do the best that we can do! God will bless us for doing our best in every situation! If I expect. God to be there when I need Him, then I need to be there when God needs. Me to do something for Him !!!Thank you Lord for your blessings on my family!!

  11. The Pots

    John 2:6 (KJV Strong’s)
” 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.”

Here at the door to the wedding feast travelers came in. The wedding feast must have been rather huge because of the size of the water pots.

The servants would set the people down, and dip their feet into the pots. The dirt, debri, sedimentation, filth, bugs, and anything else that ended up in the streets dissolved into the water.

Quickly it went from clear, to a dark brown color. Six pots containing anywhere from 18 to 27 gallons of filthy water sat there waiting to be emptied.

When Jesus spoke the word the water turned into wine.

The miracle was more than just the liquid changing. The filth that had collected in the water coated the sides, and the bottom of the pots. It would have been difficult to scrub them clean. It is possible these vessels were destroyed after such major use. At most they were rinsed out and used again for cleansing.

We were like the water pots. Coated, and littered with worldliness and sin. We were the equivalent of stinky feet water.

Nothing glorious, or attractive, but God picked us up, filled us with his spirit and made the inner and outer vessel fit for his kingdom use.

    2 Timothy 2:19-21 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
“19 But the firm foundation of (laid by) God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing this seal (inscription): The Lord knows those who are His, and, Let everyone who names [himself by] the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also [utensils] of wood and earthenware, and some for honorable and noble [use] and some for menial and ignoble [use].
21 So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.”

The miracle wasn’t just in the water. He cleaned the pots too. Not only cleaned. He literally transformed the pots inner lining to hold the new wine, and so it wouldn’t be contaminated by the filth caked to the walls of it.

  12. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

Be obedient and have faith in what God asks of You. Never doubt but know that if you do as He commands with no slack He will surely provide!

  13. 23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. 24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, 25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

People began believing because if his miracles, but that wasn’t enough for Jesus. Jesus couldn’t give himself to them because he knew them. He knew their thoughts and actions. He still knows us now. I wonder if Jesus were walking around with us today if he would give himself to us or if he would think we were just seeking after the signs like they did? I know that the Holy Ghost is available for us today. I think those who have the Holy Ghost, evidence of speaking in tongues, might not just be seeking after signs. Only God truly knows a man’s heart.

  14. Turn water into wine? Rebuild the temple in 3 days? To the human mind it doesn’t make sense. On the other hand to the Creator of this universe anything is possible.  What will you allow Him to show you today? Look for the goodness of God. I promise you will not have to look too far.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭8-9‬ AMP)

  15. MIRACLES DONT MAKE SENSE

This is possibly the greatest demonstration of Senseless FAITH in the WORD of GOD.

First of all the need seems to have little to no spiritually eternal Impact. Secondly, The senseless act of serving dirty bath water to the governor as wine, I don’t see a long line at that table to be used for that purpose.

However these servants were presented with an opportunity to be used by GOD and took full advantage of it. Too often we wait for the perfect circumstances and situation to try our FAITH. However these circumstances hardly ever show up. Most often the opportunity for the miraculous doesn’t make any sense what so ever.

Great FAITH is exampled here in this simple act of carrying water, however JESUS turned the obedience of those serving into a miracle of all ages. We must HEAR, KNOW and TRUST the VOICE of GOD in our lives to experience MIRACLES and most often they will not make sense.

  16. 24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

He knew all men. God knows all. He knows the intent of our heart, not only what our mouths proclaim. Is your heart and mouth in sync?

Daniel 5:27 …Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

I have been found wanting. However, I have learned my lesson and have drawn a line in the proverbial sand and am giving my best to the Lord.

  17. 11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Miricles are not merely superhero events, but miricles demonstrate God’s power and authority. And through the Holy Ghost God gives us the same power and authority! But sometimes God is waiting to give us our miricle till we take a step of faith and enter into his Glory! Lord take me to that place with you where I can be in your glory!

  18. Belief is not relationship

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

    Notice it says “many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.” Belief is based on our 5 senses but relationship is based on faith. In the same chapter we see the relationship Mary has with her Savior;

“3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.”

There are many principles that explain why she was able to speak and Jesus obeyed but it all comes down to relationship. I desire to daily get into His glory to know him, and give to him. Salvation goes beyond placing our sins, failures, and situations into His hands but we must also place our life in His hands and fully trust in His will.

I use to love a song that says “Lord I’m available to you” My problem with the word available is that it is too open-ended. You can be available only at certain times or in certain ways but Lord my life belongs to you. I am not my own. I want to be so joined to You that those around me cannot see me but You.

  19. 24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,

25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

God looks on the heart & not the outward appearance. He knows what we’re capable of without his spirit living in us. Even then, man is able to sin & hurt others. I pray he look into my heart & see me as I truly am and help me to overcome this flesh through more of him!

  20. 17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

He was so distraught over what was happening in the temple of the Lord, that he became angry and “cleaned house.”

We, as Holy Ghost filled christians, should possess the same kind of “zeal” regarding the sanctuary. We should want nothing but praise, testimonies and miracles and new birth happening in the sanctuary. Anything else should be kept outside to not bring division and dissension into the presence of the Lord.

  21. John 2:4 woman why do you involve me? Jesus replied my hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants do what ever he tells you. Nearby stood six stone water jars the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants fill the jars with water so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them. Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet. They did so and master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine.

  22. JESUS AND OUR FAITH
    New Living Translation
5 But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons.[b] 7 Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled, 8 he said, “Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So the servants followed his instructions.
9 When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!”
11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him.

This reminds me of the lyrics from Chris Tomlin’s song “Our God”
Water you turned into wine, opened the eyes of the blind there’s no one like you, none like You!
Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God! Our God!

We are so quick to believe someone or something in the world, but if we would just take the faith that Mary had in Jesus Christ then OUR world wouldn’t be as bad as we make it. Our constant negativity would turn into joy and laughter!! All the time we need to just be still and listen to what God tells us to do just as Mary did. We don’t need signs or proof, we just need to believe and have faith like Mary did. If we could all be more like Mary. THANK YOU MY GREAT AND WONDERFUL FATHER FOR LIVING IN ME, LOVING ME AND MAKING ME MORE LIKE MARY!!! GLORY!! GLORY!!

    NLT
17 Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: “Passion for God’s house will consume me.”[c]
18 But the Jewish leaders demanded, “What are you doing? If God gave you authority to do this, show us a miraculous sign to prove it.”
19 “All right,” Jesus replied. “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 “What!” they exclaimed. “It has taken forty-six years to build this Temple, and you can rebuild it in three days?” 21 But when Jesus said “this temple,” he meant his own body. 22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this, and they believed both the Scriptures and what Jesus had said.
    Jesus and Nicodemus
23 Because of the miraculous signs Jesus did in Jerusalem at the Passover celebration, many began to trust in him. 24 But Jesus didn’t trust them, because he knew all about people. 25 No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart.

Again believing not by signs or wonders, but just Faith that God will do what he says he will do, all we have to do is read his word. Live, breath and eat the word daily. Without it we are nothing. Jesus knows us better than we know our self and he knows where our heart really is, if it is with Him or in the world. In everything we do, should be pleasing to Him always or He will take it away in a split second.
Thank you JESUS for being with me and my family always!! Your are marvelous!!! There is NO ONE LIKE YOU!! YOU ARE GOD!!! I LOVE YOU FATHER!

  23. No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart. (‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬ NLT)

You get mad at God because he doesn’t use you, he knows the real you. He knows what’s in your heart.

  24. 24, “But Jesus did not commit himeself unto them, because he knew all men,”
25, “And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.”

We serve an Omniscient (haveing infinite knowledge; knowing all things) God. It only makes since to say that since He created us, He knows all things about us.

    Psalms 139:1-6 says…
O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Since we learned yesterday that JESUS is the Word, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, I would also like to share Hebrews 4:12-13. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

We serve an OMNISCIENT (all knowing), OMNIPOTENT (all powerful), and OMNIPRESENT (all present) God!! What a MIGHTY God we serve.

  25. Chapter 2
starts with the miracle of the wine. The wine ran out during the festivities and Jesus mother came to him with the problem The water pots were filled with water and then turned to wine. This miracle at Cana in Galilee was Jesus first public demonstration of his power and his diciples beiived he really was the Messiah.
Then Jesus chased people out of the temple. Talking to the jewish leaders he told them to destroy the sanctuary and in three days i will raise it up . Jesus meant his body. After he came back to life again the disciples realized what he quoted from the scriptures really did refere to him and all came true.
Because of the miracles he did at the passover celebration many peole knew the he was the Messiah.

  26. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

Even if things don’t make sense we have to listen and obey Gods commands. God is never wrong and will never give us more than we can’t handle. We must always have our trust in God and just obey His voice. When we’re sensitive to His voice the reward is much bigger because we’re going to see great things 🙂 so when ever God moves us to invite complete strangers or pray for others lets just do it. People around us are hungry for God and just a simple invitation to church will save a whole family 🙂 and that is beautiful 🙂

  27. v3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
v4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

v6 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

JESUS was presented with a situation , by
Mary. Many times in prayer we come to JESUS with our cares, burdens and situations. We would be wise to do as Mary did, when pray “” Just leave it there” walk away and let JESUS do whatever HE DECIDES to in the situation .
Trust HIM to answer in HIS own time and way. As we continue to be faithful servants and following HIS DIRECTIONS we will and have experience miracles of CHANGE in our lives ( just as HE changed the water into wine) THIS IS the word that spoked to me today something is about to change something new in someone’s life, ministry , walk, because JESUS IS OUR NEW WINE ( The Holy Ghost )
    HE MAKES ALL THINGS NEW.
New walk , new birth with JESUS In our lives we will never be the same . We are made wonderfully new because of HIS death, burial, and resurrection .
Thank you JESUS for your word today!!!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iTrust

  28. “Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” This appeared to be an amazing statement, considering how long it took to build; “But he spake of the temple of his body.” This is why one should read for one’s self, else wise how will one know the true meaning. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  29. The process of ,”The True Beginning.”

11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

It has been said at our church about our church that it has come into a season of maturation. I believe this with all my heart. This is one reason. This story of the water to wine has been taught for generations. But not like this.
The servants. They had to be willing to do what ever Jesus said to do. No matter how crazy it sounded.
The disciples. They had to be following Jesus first before they could see any signs and wonders.
Jesus. At a certain age he would not have been accepted by the people to speak with authority.

Now put these three types of people in together. Stir. And you come out with the first miracle. How? Jesus had the authority to speak to the servants for hen to listen. They took the six vessels and filled them to the brim. Then the governor drank and liked it.
Now our church has the opprotunity to start its full ministry ability. We have the people willing to do as the man of God says to do. The disciples to learn and lead when the time comes. But people with a heart to be in this gospel for the long haul. Not wavering to and fro.
It is time to step up to the plate and do our duty to The Lord and serve Him.

  30. “But thou hast kept the good wine until now.”
Mary knew who Jesus was and was submissive to him and told the servant to also be submissive to him as well. Mothers and fathers have God given aurhority, Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, she was the willing vessel and he was the Son of God. Mary believed in Jesus so much she knew that even after he rejected her request that he could create wine.. for he is the son of the Father our creator. This instance reminds me of the Canaanite woman who had great faith requesting Jesus heal her child regardless of her background. Jesus is looking for a people with some backbone and faith. The woman with the issue of blood was sick of waiting around and wasting away. She saw her last shot at life and dodged into the crowds and touched Jesus. We simply need to step out in faith and in submission like these women for God can do anything for us.

  31. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

It was traditional for the people of this time when they had a wedding for the good wine to be served first among the people, but Jesus decided to switch things up a bit and made the best for last, why?

I believe one reason may be because sometimes when we want the good “wine” that God has for us first, or right now. So when we get served the not as sweet wine, you get disappointed as this wasn’t what you expected God to give you. But he may be telling you to be patient, for he is serving his best wine for you, for later. he’s pouring his special blessing for you after you can show you can handle with great joy the first blessing he gives you

  32. saith unto him, They have no wine.

4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

What kind of faith does it take to believe without having seen any previous miracles? In Hebrews we read

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ KJV)

I believe it takes a wholeheartedly belief in one’s heart that rests assured on whom trust is set upon. A faith that says my heart is at peace because I know you can and you will.

  33. Wine Bearers

9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom

Those who feasted didn’t understand where the wine came from, they just enjoyed it; but those who served knew. Being in a place of ministry means knowing the prayer, praise, laboring, personal devotion, and other things that go into cultivating an atmosphere where man can have an encounter with God while gathered together in a church service. They get to feel His presence, receive His Word, experience an encounter with Him and be changed, but we understand there was more to it than just showing up and going through the motions. Our spiritual disciplines and labors behind the scenes are not in vain even when we don’t notice an immediate tangible benefit, they feed revival and harvest and push back the cover of darkness that the Kingdom of God would be expanded upon this earth and heaven would not only touch man but change him eternally. We who serve must be faithful to see simply the basic waters that flow from personal devotions and know that as we go, the Lord will send us not as water bearers but as Wine Bearers to those in need. He provides what is needed if we will but draw from Him waters and be faithful to go minister as He has called us to.

    Isaiah 12:2-3
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

  34. It’s ALL Good!

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

Jesus is no respecter of persons or things. Hen he makes something it is good.

    Genesis 1:
12 And the earth brought forth grass, [and] herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.

He made the fruit good in the first place. When he calls something good, it is good forever. So why do we believe the lies of satan that tell us that we are no good?

    Genesis 1:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

God gave us dominion over every good thing that he made. Everything he made was good in the beginning. The flesh though was never called good. We are the only thing that was created that God didn’t look upon us and say that it was good specifically.
He gave us the choice of whether we are good or not. All flesh is corruptible.

    Matthew 12:
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit.

We have the choice of whether our latter wine will be better than the former or if we have seen the best already.

I choose to believe that my wine is going to get better as I pursue the kingdom and his righteousness.

    Genesis 1:
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God doesn’t make mistakes, so why let the devil lie and say that you are one?

    It’s ALL Good!

  35. John 2:19
” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.””

This refers to the crucifixion. It is BC of this that we are free from sin.

  36. No one needed to tell him about human nature, for he knew what was in each person’s heart. (‭John‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬ NLT)

God can see the sinful hearts we all bear but by His grace He provided a way to have Him in our hearts. With Gods spirit we can have less of us and more of Him, we just first need to take the first step of being humble and vulnerable pushing away our pride…
I will always need more of Him

  37. 12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.

13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

    15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;

Jesus saw how the people abused the temple. Turning it into a Market. Lord
Lead me to do your will.

  38. Jesus turns water into wine !!!!! 3. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Je’-sus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4. Je’-sus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7. Je’-sus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8. And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: ( but the servants which drew the water knew; ) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!! I PRAISE YOU JESUS !!!! I THANK YOU JESUS !!!! I AM VICTORIOUS !!!!
