John 7

1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

2 Now the Jew’s feast of tabernacles was at hand.

3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.

4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.

5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.

7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.

10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

11 Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he?

12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.

13 Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.

14 Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?

20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.

22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.

23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

25 Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?

26 But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.

31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

32 The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him.

33 Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.

34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?

42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

44 And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.

45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?

46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?

48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

49 But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.

50 Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)

51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?

52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

53 And every man went unto his own house.

  1. Should I worry where Jesus came from??

    Vs. 52/
They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

Jesus just wanted you and me to just believe Him. What a glorious God.
Bless you Lord… no matter where Your work is I will follow You.

    ifollow You, Jesus.

  2. 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

This Holy Ghost is for everyone (if any man thirst) if we will be thirsty, we can drink. We should seek Jesus Christ in this day and he can be found. The best way to search for him is search the scriptures for they speak of him. We can have this Spirit, the Holy Ghost moving in us like a river of living water.
Jesus paid the price for us to be filled with his spirit, we should take advantage of it.

  3. 46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. -Hebrews 4:12

The word of God is powerful, it changes lives. Even those that try to oppose him knew that there was something different about Jesus and the words he spoke.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. -Isaiah 55:11

  4. 16. Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

This Word and doctrine we share with those around us is not ours, but His; it isn’t us they receive or reject, but Him. If they reject me they can lose nothing; if they reject Him, they can lose everything.

  5. On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.) (‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭37-39‬ NLT)

  6. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

When we speak to people about the saving grace of Jesus, we will get some resistance, because the world hates him and doesn’t want to hear this message. The people that are too deeply integrated in this world will not want to hear it and resist but don’t let this hold you back for what is the worth of one soul? If we can find one person out of many who resist the message, and bring this person to hear the truth of Jesus’ living water, then it will be truly worth it.

  7. Verses 16-19 MSG “Jesus said, “I didn’t make this up. What I teach comes from the One who sent me. Anyone who wants to do his will can test this teaching and know whether it’s from God or whether I’m making it up. A person making things up tries to make himself look good. But someone trying to honor the one who sent him sticks to the facts and doesn’t tamper with reality. It was Moses, wasn’t it, who gave you God’s Law? But none of you are living it. So why are you trying to kill me?” This verse reminds me of what Pastor preached yesterday, you have to stick to the Book (Bible), the only real truth.

  8. Amen
    Esther 1:3
in the third year of his reign he made a feast unto all his princes and media the nobles and princes of the provinces being before him .

  9. 46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?

48 Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?

Jesus was so persuasive in the truth of who he was that even those coming to take him away began to believe in him. But the Pharisees were so pridefully pious that there only argument was that since none of them believed in Jesus then no one else should. We must work out our own salvation no matter what anyone else thinks.

  10. Near but Far

John 7:3-8 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
” 3 So His brothers said to Him, Leave here and go into Judea, so thatYour disciples [there] may also see the works that You do. [This is no place for You.]
4 For no one does anything in secret when he wishes to be conspicuous and secure publicity. If You [must] do these things [if You must act like this], show Yourself openly and make Yourself known to the world!
5 For [even] His brothers did not believe in or adhere to or trust in or rely on Him either.
6 Whereupon Jesus said to them, My time (opportunity) has not come yet; but any time is suitable for you and your opportunity is ready any time [is always here].
7 The world cannot [be expected to] hate you, but it does hate Me because I denounce it for its wicked works and reveal that its doings are evil.
8 Go to the Feast yourselves. I am not [yet] going up to the Festival, because My time is not ripe. [My term is not yet completed; it is not time for Me to go.]”

Jesus went home. He saw his brothers who hears of the mighty acts the Lord was doing through him. Yet the did not believe though they were related to him. They couldn’t have been closer to the savior of they tried yet their hearts were far from him.

If we are not careful we can be around the things of God so much we forget about the God of those things.

Revelation 2:2-4 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
“2 I know your industry and activities, laborious toil and trouble, and your patient endurance, and how you cannot tolerate wicked [men] and have tested and critically appraised those who call [themselves] apostles (special messengers of Christ) and yet are not, and have found them to be impostors and liars.
3 I know you are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My name’s sake, and you have not fainted or become exhausted or grown weary.
4 But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love].”

These were workers who stood up against evil. They served and raised his name up. They persevered and refused to give up their religion, their belief, their tradition, their church life. On the outside it looked like everything was the way it was supposed to be yet inside there was a broken connection. They were involved in the work of God forgetting the God of the work.

The most vital thing in our lives is our connection to God. We need, and must have our relationship with him as the foundation for all we do for him.

Luke 17:7-10 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
“7 Will any man of you who has a servant plowing or tending sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, Come at once and take your place at the table?
8 Will he not instead tell him, Get my supper ready and gird yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; then afterward you yourself shall eat and drink?
9 Is he grateful and does he praise the servant because he did what he was ordered to do?
10 Even so on your part, when you have done everything that was assigned and commanded you, say, We are unworthy servants [possessing no merit, for we have not gone beyond our obligation]; we have [merely] done what was our duty to do.”

Once we have worked, and labored for his kingdom he invites us to fellowship with him. Because the one thing God wants above all else is YOU.

  11. 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

When we witness to people we need to be careful that we are not offering our personal convictions as doctrine. When witnessing, we need to make clear the difference between our personal testimony and the words of Jesus.

  12. GET IN THE FLOW

37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

I am thankful for the FLOW of the spirit of JESUS in mankind, what wonders HE will work through us. Like water when it flows seeks a low place to fill. Regardless of how low you may feel, the SPIRIT of the LORD JESUS is flowing down to where you are, that HE may pick you up and carry you away from the pain, sorrow and persecution to sit with HIM in Heavenly Places.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Now that the Holy Ghost is given, we have immediate instant access to the POWER that created the heavens and the earth. GET IN THE FLOW, GET IN THE SPIRIT and allow GOD to order your steps and direct your path.

    In JESUS name!

    iPraise

  13. Timing is everything.

When we must be patient and wait for God’s timing in everything. Jesus knew he must stay in Galilee and not go by the way of Jewry. Many times we take matters into our own hands and we try to be “God”, and most cases we mess up what God is trying to do in us and through us. We must learn to wait on the Lord’s timing so that His plan and purpose can be fulfilled in us.

  14. 6: So Jesus replied, “My time has not yet arrived, but you are ready at any opportunity! 7: The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying about it that its deeds are evil.

We must be ready and on time; not our time but His Time.
A leader is ready at ALL times. Rather to clean the church, or witness to a soul in the supermarket.

Remember its not about you, its about Him! Just as Pastor stated last night, we aren’t fighting with each other, we are fighting principalities…

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:12 KJV

  15. 52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

    Don’t you know ?

Do you know the man they call Jesus. He is coming soon. For a church that had prepared for his return.

  16. 7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

When we go out into the world and tell people about God and they reject what we are saying, which many people will do because they do not want to get there life right, remember they are not rejecting us, but they are rejecting Jesus. But this does not mean to stop trying to reach people because there are some people out there that are hungry for God, but are just
waiting on someone to ask them.

  17. John 7:28 Then Jesus still teaching in the temple courts cried out. Yes you know me and you know where I am from. I am from. I am not here on my own authority but he who sent me is true. You don’t know him but I know him because I am from him and he sent me.

  18. 3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.
8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.

The brethren are anxious to put boots on the ground. Their desire is to go to Judea, to the feast of tabernacles, where the Jews were commanded to priase God; sing and dance. They were ready for Jesus’ great work to be revealed to the people. Jesus told them to go and warned them that it wasn’t time yet for him to go. Jesus stayed in Galilee and taught. Sometimes we get exited and want to go into a fight guns blazing. Jesus knew that the Jews sought to kill him its in vs 1 and 25. In verse 11 the Jews were searching for Jesus. They were expecting Jesus to come, prepared like an enemy suited up and ready for battle. Jesus showed up on the last day of the feast with a praise on, and gave prophetic vision of the Holy Ghost. The murmuring religious and the bretheren didn’t think he was coming, but Jesus made an appearnce that would shape the prophetic Holy Ghost, the living water that lives within us today.

“37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. “

  19. It is not where you come from, or what you look like. IT IS TO WHOM YOU BELONG TO…AND WHAT YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE THAT COUNT.

52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.

When I was a teacher, I used to tell my students, dress for success. tell me what you want to be, and dress like you are already there. Act like you have already achieved your goal. Hang with those that do what you want to do, that have achieved what you want to achieve. Don’t allow your environment and upbringing determine what or who you become. Once you belong to GOD, you are HIS child and you should reflect it!!!! In you as well as out.

Your past should not determine your future once you are Baptized in Jesus Name. The past is gone, take a step every day and rewrite your future.

Here, Jesus is being judged because of where He came from… sadly to say they judge in the knowledge they thought they knew about Him… which was wrong for Jesus was born in Bethlehem; they just assumed that since He lived in Galilee He must of been born there.
So learn, do not judge on knowledge acquired by gossip, seek the person confirm the knowledge. We shouldn’t be judging to begin with, there is only ONE JUDGE, ONE GOD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM!!!!!!! Any way do not allow your environment to determine who you become. Stand, show the world YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD, BE VICTORIOUS FOR HE HAS GIVEN YOU VICTORY!!!!!!!

  20. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

I’m gonna glorify him no matter what I’m going through in life!!

  21. 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him

Sunday we had the pleasure to speak on the doctrine of salvation in Sunday school. The doctrine that we spoke is not of ourselves but the doctrine of Jesus Christ. We were thankful that the youth received it and we believe that soon they will make decisions to obey the doctrine. It’s a privilege to teach the doctrine of salvation right out of the bible. We didn’t make up the doctrine of salvation we are blessed to preach it right out of the word of God, watch JESUS anoint His word, and see people’s life changed!

  22. 35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?

    Isaiah 11:10
” And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse,
    which shall stand for an ensign of the people;
to it shall the Gentiles seek:
and his rest shall be glorious.”
    Isaiah 42:6-7
” I the Lord have called thee in righteousness,
and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee,
    and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
    To open the blind eyes,
to bring out the prisoners from the prison,
and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”

For teachers of the law who were well versed and educated in their history including their prophets, the Pharisees ignored, or forgot, that Isaiah had prophesied about the messiah being a light to the Gentiles. Jesus’s goal while walking the earth may have been to focus on the Jews but his ministry drew non jews to him. Thank God that his mercy and love stretch beyond the jews. Thank God that once he was lifted up, all men could be drawn to him. Thank God he went to the Gentiles, where when we seek we may find Him.

  23. ilove to eat the Word

Earlier this morning as I read this chapter, I couldn’t help but to break out into laughter over these crazy Pharisees.

They sent out officers to arrest Jesus; “45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?”

The officers responded kinda like this; “That man can preach!”

I can imagine the Pharisees scratching their heads while they asked in amazment, “Are you deceived too?”

The truth of the matter is, the Pharisees were correct in their knowledge of the scriptures (they knew where the Messiah would come from) , but they were incorrect in the fact that they assumed Jesus came from Galilee. “52 They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.”

The Pharisees were expecting the Messiah to come out of Bethlehem, “41 Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?42 Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?”

The Pharisees understood the scriptures, but missed one very important historical detail…Jesus “WAS” born in Bethlehem. Jesus could have revealed that very simple fact to them. He could have had his mother testify, he could have shown them his birth certificate, or even had the Wise Men show up in his defense; but the fact is, it takes a clean heart to please God. These Pharisees did not have clean hearts. True revelation begins with clean hearts and clean hands. The key to helping people see the obvious in Jesus name baptism and Holy Ghost power is to lead them to the altar of repentance instead of trying to prove the scriptures. Once the heart is pure, then the obvious will become manifest.

While it is easy for us to see that the NAME of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost is Jesus, others are like the Pharisees and wrestle with the scriptures.

    Title Name

    Father= LORD
    Son= JESUS
    Holy Ghost= CHRIST

  24. 38 He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water. (AMP)

Believe and trust in Him, with Him there is life everlasting! Thank you Jesus!

  25. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

It’s caleed “living” waters because by it dead sinners are quickened, drooping saints are revived, and comforted; spiritual life in them is maintained and supported, and it springs up to, and issues in eternal life.

  26. “He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.” The Lord (God) himself was a living example. One should be mindful too never glorify self, however one should always glorify the one true God (Jesus). Thank God for the word this Sunday; “He must increase, but I must decrease.” What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  27. MSG version of verses 37-39
On the final and climactic day of the Feast, Jesus took his stand. He cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Rivers of living water will brim and spill out of the depths of anyone who believes in me this way, just as the Scripture says.” (He said this in regard to the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were about to receive. the Spirit had not ye been given because Jesus had not yet been glorified.)

Thank You JESUS for your are the Fountain of Living Water!
Thank You JESUS for the Holy Ghost!

  28. 22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?

  29. Home

53 And every man went unto his own house.

In the world of sports, there’s a term, “home team advantage,” to describe the sense of extra confidence, familiarity, and support for the team in a match who is hosting the event. The home field is *their* field; they know the locker rooms, they know the look of the arena/field/court/etc, they know what it is to play at that venue after so many practices there, they have their local supporters there to cheer them on, they have a sense of ownership. And with that feeling of “home” usually also comes a distinct sense of “home culture,” something that effects the players and shifts the whole atmosphere of the event. However, a team with strong unity and sense of identity can take that culture with them even with they play abroad without the advantages of being on their own field.

In this same way, our homes hold a culture of life that will shape our spiritual walk both in and out of our homes. What we take with us from home will effect everything else. We must guard the culture and atmosphere of our homes so that we walk pleasing to God at all times. The Jews’ desire to crucify Christ did not suddenly manifest while they were outside their homes but rather arose from the culture they already cultivated in their daily living.

Our homes can either be a place for spiritual strength or decay. It’s up to us to decide what culture we will establish.

    Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  30. Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly.” (‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬ NLT)

Don’t judge if you don’t know the whole story.

  31. 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

31 And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?

Some of the people did look past the accusations & the saying that no prophet comes out of Galilee and went by the evidence. If all the books in the world could not contain all the miracles & great things Jesus did, how could the Pharisees be so stone cold in denying him? Bro Mahaney preached about being holy inside & out -the Pharisees lacked holiness inwardly. We must be holy for he is. It will help us make the right choices like the crowd had to make in this chapter.

  32. v46 Tge officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

JESUS’ words reveal HIS spiritual authority and power .
JESUS IS INFINITE without limit in HIS AUTHORITY.
Take HIM at HIS Word. We can believe on HIM because of HIS WORDS.

    iBelieve HIS WORDS
    iRepent
    iPray
    iPraise

  33. The Doctrine

16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

The doctrine of Jesus will always stand strong. His doctrine is not full of mans tradition because he is not of man.

Help us Lord to secure this doctrine in our lives and hearts to let it grow in us.

  34. Hated for righteousness

7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.
    (John 7:7 NASBStr)

When one starts to testify of evil, those who love evil start to hate him or her.

  35. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Belly-the innermost part of a man, the soul, heart as the seat of thought, feeling, choice

Hallelujah! It’s true when you believe in Jesus and testify everything he’s done in your life all you want to do is express it and tell others. Even if their complete strangers you will just invite them to church unshamefully. I know it’s happened to me since I came here to POFW I have so much joy and enthusiasm about Jesus, my Church and Pastor. It’s something that I can’t contain so I have to let it out and tell others. What I have is not for me to keep but so share and be fishers of men 🙂 Thank You Jesus!!!

  36. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭37-38‬ KJV)

Like the lady in Samaria we all need the living water. JESUS offered it to all of us. We are his servants and as long as we are telling people about him and compelling them to come he can give them the rivers of living water within them as well. I’ve got the river of living water! I’m going to overflow my banks and get someone wet today!

  37. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

One should always know that we are all vessels of God; some for honor and some dishonor. None of the things we do are our own doing. We can’t even breathe without God. We are wise to give all the glory to God always and speak the great things the He is doing. We are to go and spread this gospel, speaking about Him that sent us.
    To God be the glory!

  38. My Time !!!! 5. For neither did his brethren believe in him. Mark 3 : 21 6. Then Je’-sus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always ready. John 2 : 4 7. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. 8. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. I AM VICTORIOUS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS !!!!
