John 10

1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

40 And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.

41 And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.

42 And many believed on him there.

  1. 29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Just picture holding your child close to you and then someone trying to take them from you…there’s no way; you would kick, punch, bite, or whatever you had to do to keep them from taking your child. Now multiply that love and power that you would show times infinity and you’ll start to get an idea of how much God loves His children and what He will do to protect them. Run into His arms and let Him be your Father so that you can experience the love and safety that only He can give.

  2. Stop blaming the devil

Another one of those chapter that is so full of lessons that it is hard to chose just one. First, we must be aware to the voice of our SHEPHERD. Discern who’s voice are you going to listen to. Second, once you become HIS, no one, nor nothing can pluck you out of his hands. This shows me that no matter who tries we belong to HIM and He will never let go. It is us, YES US, that voluntarily walk away from HIM. The devil did not make us leave, our friends did not make us leave, we stood up and walked away. So how can we stop it. STAY CLOSE TO YOUR SHEPHERD!!!!! STAY CLOSE TO ALL THE OTHER SHEAVES THERE IS SAFETY IN NUMBERS!!!!!! ENCOURAGE YOURSELVES IN THE LORD!!!! REMIND MEN AND THE devil WHO YOU BELONG TO AND IN WHOSE HANDS YOU ARE. Third, again I don’t know how people don’t want to accept the ONENESS message when it is so clearly marked. 30 I and my Father are one.

  3. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Jesus was telling them according to the scriptures, but like so many then and today people do not believe the scriptures.
Look at his works, and hear his voice, we need to allow God to move in our lives and follow him wherever he leads us.

  4. Verses 14-16 AMP “I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me—Even as [truly as] the Father knows Me and I also know the Father—and I am giving My [very own] life and laying it down on behalf of the sheep. And I have other sheep [beside these] that are not of this fold. I must bring and [c]impel those also; and they will listen to My voice and heed My call, and so there will be [they will become] one flock under one Shepherd.”

Same verses MSG “I am the Good Shepherd. I know my own sheep and my own sheep know me. In the same way, the Father knows me and I know the Father. I put the sheep before myself, sacrificing myself if necessary. You need to know that I have other sheep in addition to those in this pen. I need to gather and bring them, too. They’ll also recognize my voice. Then it will be one flock, one Shepherd.”

Jesus is the Good Shepherd and he loves each and every one of us. Now whether you allow Him to lead you is your choice. We also have to stay in and close to the pen; otherwise, we cannot hear the voice of our Shepherd. As a part of this fold, we too must impel additional sheep to come and heed the call of the one true Shepherd. Thank you Father for loving me and giving your very own life and laying it down for me.

  5. iLove to eat the Word

    “Hanukkah”

John 10:22 (NLT) “It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication. 23He was in the Temple, walking through the section known as Solomon’s Colonnade.”

Well, here we go…did you ever wonder where the holiday of Hanukkah came from? It’s even right here in the Word.

When the Second Temple in Jerusalem was looted and services stopped, Judaism was outlawed. In 167 BC Antiochus ordered an altar to Zeus erected in the Temple to celebrate Zeus’ birthday, which happens to be December 25th. (The ancient pagans always celebrated Zeus’ birthday on December 25th.) He banned brit milah (circumcision) and ordered pigs to be sacrificed at the altar of the temple (the sacrifice of pigs to the Greek gods was standard ritual practice in the Ancient Greek religion).

Antiochus’s actions provoked a large-scale revolt. Mattathias (Mattityahu), a Jewish priest, and his five sons Jochanan, Simeon, Eleazar, Jonathan, and Judah led a rebellion against Antiochus. Judah became known as Yehuda HaMakabi (“Judah the Hammer”). By 166 BC Mattathias had died, and Judah took his place as leader. By 165 BC the Jewish revolt against the Seleucid monarchy was successful. The Temple was liberated and rededicated. The festival of Hanukkah was instituted to celebrate this event.[22] Judah ordered the Temple to be cleansed, a new altar to be built in place of the polluted one and new holy vessels to be made. According to the Talmud, unadulterated and undefiled pure olive oil with the seal of the kohen gadol (high priest) was needed for the menorah in the Temple, which was required to burn throughout the night every night. The story goes that one flask was found with only enough oil to burn for one day, yet it burned for eight days, the time needed to prepare a fresh supply of kosher oil for the menorah. An eight-day festival was declared by the Jewish sages to commemorate this miracle.

  6. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

What do our works say about us?
Jesus said “the works that i do in my fathers name bare witness of me” that made me think.. what do our works say about us, what are we barring witness of with the things that we do and say? The things that we do, do they glorify God? Do they bare witness of his goodness and his grace? His faithfulness? His mercy? Does anything we do bare witness of him?? He goes on to say if i do not the works of my father believe me not. For all those who are teachers, leaders, and ministers our works should bare witness of him because people are watching us. Believe it or not our Sunday school children are watching us and they can see whether our actions glorify God or not. They might not compleetly understand to the fullest how we should glorify God but they see when we do. If we expect people to listen when we speak, If we expect them to learn when we teach or recieve when we minister we should be baring witness of the glory of God in our every day life. Because if Jesus himself said if i do not bare witness of God don’t believe me. We are no more special than him. My prayer is that God would be glorified in everything that i say and do in Jesus name.

  7. The Sheep: reliance

John 10:3-5 (Complete Word Study Bible (CWSB) OT & NT)
” 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.”

The sheep have definite characteristics. First they hear his voice.

The word hear is a present indicative active, this means it is happening as Jesus is speaking. His sheep hear (listen, consider, heed, and obey his voice)

    Sheep never stop listening.

Call is also present indicative active. He is calling, summoning, beckoning, and inviting. The call is to ministry, to serve, to worship, to work, to praise, to prayer, always with the shepherd Jesus.

Name means (Olive Tree Enhanced Strong’s Dictionary) the name is used for everything which the name covers, everything the thought or feeling of which is aroused in the mind by mentioning, hearing, remembering, the name, i.e. for one’s rank, authority, interests, pleasure, command, excellences, deeds etc.

The shepherd speaks of the sheep’s true identity.

The sheep are being led. It means to direct, instruct, and conduct.

The word putteth forth his own, I’m verse 4 is the same Greek word used in the scripture that says pray the lord of the harvest will SEND forth laborers into the field. It means cast out forcibly, properly to EJECT.

He promises he will go before us.

The sheep never leave the shepherd. This is what makes them sheep. They know his voice because they spend time hearing his voice, they are led because they see when he moves. When they are send out on missions he goes ahead to prepare the place before they get there, literally meeting them there.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not lack, want, have needs unmet, require anything.

    Why?

The sheep are completely, totally, and absolutely reliant on the shepherd for EVERYTHING.

  8. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

While verse 6 states this is a parable; there is truth in it. Growing up with my grandfather and his cattle; they knew his voice. He had a particular way of calling his cattle to him. No matter what field they were in, time of day or weather his call would ring out and within moments the cattle would respond by calling back to him and start walking towards his voice. I tried my very best to imitate his call with no luck. I had the same cadence and pitch but not the same voice; the cattle would look up but ultimately, not respond.

This type of relationship is only developed through familiarity. The more you seek the Lord and strive to hear His voice the easier it becomes to understand His voice and differentiate His voice above the noise of life.

  9. Don’t lay it down!

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

We laid down our old life in order to gain eternal life. The same is true if one desires to go back to their old life. You would have to lay down eternal life to gain eternal corruption. No one can take us out of His hand.

  10. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

It is such a great peace to know that we can find refuge in the Father’s arms. He is above all and I’m glad to know I can rest assured I am always safe in His arms.

  11. NLT 6 Those who heard Jesus use this illustration didn’t understand what he meant, 7 so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. 9 Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.

Going through Jesus is the only to be safe, secure, protected and saved. So many people believe there are other ways to be spiritually saved and reach heaven. They say “Jesus is not the only way”, they are being deceived. Other religions and prophets (thieves & robbers) will try to deceive and trick you into believing this. Just like a thief, they will do so secretly and quietly, or if needed violently to make you convert to their religion. So many are being led astray from the following verse!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

  12. John 10:27 my sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish no one will snatch them out of me hand. My father who has given them to me is greater than all no one can snatch them out of my Fathers hand. I and the Father are one.

  13. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

Who’s voice are you listening to? We can not listen to the other voices around, we do not gain eternal life by listening to the voices around us, but by listening to God, then obey what he says. God will not always speak to us directly, he can also speak to us through the man of God in our life, or the Sunday school teachers. So we need to pay attention so that we do not miss the word God has for us!!

  14. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.😉

  15. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

The will of God is very simple to understand, what God wants from us is to help us grow his flock. He wants to be a Shepard to everyone that hears about him and his name. But sometimes he needs help from his flock to spread his message and his name.

The more people we reach and the more people that are part of God’s flock that reach out to people, the larger his flock will get. And that’s what we want, as many people to go to heaven with us as possible.

  16. TRUTH HURTS

30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

Last week we saw how revelation generates JOY to the recipient. Here in chapter 10 we learn that revelation not received generates contention. The deity of Christ has long been a contentious subject.

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

How BLESSED we are to understand the Godhead, knowing that JESUS is GOD and when we see HIM we see the Father.

John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Not everyone receives this revelation and because of religious traditions, deny the TRUTH and for this reason the TRUTH HURTS those that deny JESUS is GOD (The FATHER in creation, The SON in redemption and The HOLY SPIRIT in us today)

  17. 1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

The benefits of a relationship with the Shepherd. Sheep follow the voice of the Shepherd because they have developed that consistent relationship with him. He cares for them, leads them, corrects them, goes after them when they go astray and they remain faithful in their obedience to that Shepherd.

This parallels in two ways – 1 Jesus is illustrated here as the good Shepherd and we must follow Him and do His commandments, 2 – Our Pastor has been placed over us, under God as our Shepherd, and we must follow and be obedient to him, as he follows Christ.

  18. 27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:”
28, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
29, “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
30, “I and my Father are one.”

This passage of scripture made me think of the scriptures found in Romans 8:38-39. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

As long as we know the voice of the Lord and follow Him, there is nothing that can separate us from His Love. He keeps us safe, shelter, and protected in His loving arms.
This then reminds me of an old picture my grandmother had hanging in her livingroom of Jesus holding a lamb in his arms and the other sheep around him. Isaiah 40:11 says, “He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carrry them in his bosom, and shalll gently lead those that are with young.”

What a promise we have today knowing that He is the Good Shepherd; we know His voice; and He keeps us shelter in his loving hands and arms. “Safe in the arms of JESUS”

  19. iLove the book of John, so much oneness scripture in this book.
    Verse 25
    Verse 28
    Verse 29
    Verse 30
    Verse 33
    Verse 38
So many scriptures, the beginning of the chapter spoke to me about my past church leaders, how some of them were more hirelings than any thing.

    hire·ling
    ˈhī(ə)rliNG/
    nounderogatory
a person employed to undertake menial work.
a person who works purely for material reward.
Many just workers for pure material gain, God preserved me to be at POFW for such a time as now, and I’m eternally greatful.

  20. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

We all know who’s the theif (satan) or a wolf in sheep’s clothing, is coming to destroy us and our families. He don’t always come in obvious ways he is a snake it up to us to operate in the sprit and have a divine relationship with God. If you have a relationship with God you can see what the devil is trying to do. Beware of wolves!!

  21. “There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.” God (Jesus) was known then by his, just as he is today. One that knows the voice of the shepherd knows Jesus (God), whereas one that does not know his voice, does not; “But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  22. A Parable !!!! 6. This parable spake Je’-sus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7. Then said Je’-sus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the doorof the sheep. 8. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and they might have it more abundantly. 11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. Isa. 40 : 11 Heb. 13 : 20 I AM VICTORIOUS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS !!!!

  23. 1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

  24. If I do not the works of my Father, then believe me not.

The same can be said for us. You talk and talk and talk about being a disciple of Christ, but the true reflection is in our good works.

  25. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Amen 🙂 the enemy just wants to see us all get destroyed, kill each other, and to be jealous of one another. Just like Bishop Foster warned us this past leadership meeting the devil is going to attack is in 3 different ways….
    1. Relationships with people
    2. Over church positions
    3. Over Possesions

So keep your guard on and let’s keep praying without ceasing to guard our hearts that we may be filled with the Holy Ghost daily so we will not give the enemy a chance to come into our mind or heart and let him destroy us. For we have Jesus in us that gives us breathe of living water. Just keep your focus on Jesus and trust in Him with all your heart and he will provide all your needs 🙂 Thank You Jesus for all your mercy!

  26. Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭40‬ NKJV)

Jesus just wants us to believe. If we could only believe just a little bit he is ready to miracles and great things in our lives. He want us to fully heartily trust in and believe in him. Jesus let me learn to not hesitate to trust you. Thank you.

  27. Even Jesus, was not welcomed in places. Just as today, people are turning a blind eye to him. We better get ready for the second return.

  28. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ NLT)

He knows that God has a plans for us so he try’s to bring us down. But God has our back

  29. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

God is in control at all times . He covers us with his blood . God is our protector he knows his sheep, nothing will harm you.

  30. Proof Of Ministry

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

Being in the will of God doesn’t mean we won’t receive criticism and false discredidation. But the proof of ministry is not the approval of man but of God. The heartbeat of God may lead us contrary to others, but our concern should be faithfulness to God.

    Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

  31. v30-31 I and in my Father are one.
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

There go the stones again .
The name of JESUS is above every name.
Through HIS NAME, we obtain healing, deliverance, salvation, and miracles.
    iRepent
    iPray
    iPraise
    JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!

  32. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

There are no short cuts or any other way to come to the Kingdom of God and his presence. We must go the Jesus way. He is the way the truth and the life and there is only one way to enter in; repent and be baptized in Jesus name and with His Spirit. There is only one way and it the Jesus way… You must be born again.

  33. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭11-14‬ KJV)

I can remember the things that people have done to lead me to Christ. Some of them would give their life for me to have salvation and others would have not. JESUS us the good shepherd and will only place another good shepherd to be in charge of his flock. I thank God for those who have given greatly to get me into a place where I hear the word and have been encouraged to seek Christ on my own and not just warm a seat in a building.

  34. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

This verse has been used by a particular denomination to show how they fit into the kingdom of God without using the Bible as their authority & guide. Instead they use just enough scripture to take an unsuspecting person away from the true word of God & their salvation.

Without knowing God’s word for ourselves we could easily be deceived! Millions have been led away from the true shepherd. I did take a lesson or 2 from this denomination & when things didn’t ring true, I was told to pray about it…which I did. I never received confirmation from the Lord!

When Jesus says my sheep will know my voice, it means more than I can say. I was raised up learning the Bible as a child and thank God for that foundation because when I began searching for truth and my own relationship with Him, the false doctrines of this world didn’t have a lasting hold on me! Praise God for this truth that we know. The true shepherd speaks to us and draws near to us when we worship him. He answers us when we seek him with our whole heart & leads us to his truth!

  35. Blinded by rage.

    John 10:33
The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.”

Our presuppositions can leave us blind. In our blindness, we attack what we don’t understand. Lord help us to see.

  36. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they don’t belong to him and he isn’t their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep. (‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭11-13‬ NLT)

These scriptures brought me back to a message Bro Greene taught “you gotta love the real thang”… There are many churches, pastors and special speakers but is it real? I’m glad that POFW is about being real- straight from the bible. Gods word is alive!

  37. 31 Then the Jews took stones again and stoned him.

Every time we sin we are just stoning and crucifying him all over again.

  38. A Parable !!!! 6. This parable spake Je’-sus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7. Then said Je’-sus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. Isa. 40 : 11; Heb. 13 : 20 Thank you Jesus for this parable !!!! I am Victorious through Christ Jesus !!!! I Love you Jesus !!!!
