John 21

1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

  1. All it takes is faith and the willingness to obey. This scripture shows that because of obedience and faith they received an over abundance.

  2. JESUS HAS A POWER!!!!!

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

Here it is!!!!! In black and white people. Simple enough to read and follow directions. Jesus did a lot of this that were not recorded as His doing. We are not talking about yesterday but since the age of time. He has been doing Miracles, Signs and Wonders and there are still some waiting and asking to show them a sign. Christ will be coming soon, be prepared, talk to Him daily, repent, and be baptized in Jesus Name for the repentance of sin. Become part of Jesus work force, helping grow hi Kingdom. In Jesus Name AMEN!!!!!!

  3. Actions speak louder than words.

After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these? ” “Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question: “Simon son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I love you.” “Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said. A third time he asked him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Then feed my sheep. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15-17‬ NLT)

The greatest example of love, JESUS Christ himself!
He wasn’t selfish with his love, he gave his all so that we can have a hope of life with him.
So, today, the question stands today , “do you love me?”

  4. 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

For we would not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who recommend themselves. But when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding. -2 Corinthians 10:12

We are all different, and have destinies that are different. What matters is that we follow The Lord and the purpose that he has for us. If we do that we will fulfill the plan for his Church.

  5. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Obeying Jesus word will always pay off, these disciplines just went fishing after Jesus was crucified. Jesus being risen from the dead now showing himself to his disciples ask them have you caught any fish?
They had more than the nets could carry by just obeying God. If we ever need to do anything it is obey God’s word.
Still true today, let’s obey God’s word and see what God can do for us.

  6. Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭6‬ NLT)

Sometimes you just got to have alittle faith and anything can happen.

  7. Verse 15 KJV “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me MORE than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

Same verse MSG “After breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me MORE than these?” “Yes, Master, you know I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

Same verse AMP “When they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love Me MORE than these [others do—with reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion, as one loves the Father]? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You [that I have deep, instinctive, personal affection for You, as for a close friend]. He said to him, Feed My lambs.”

Do you love the Lord MORE than anything. In G-Force yesterday our storyline went along the lines of how many have let the cares of life, the work itself, and the busyness distract us from our first love. We need to get back to, care for, and protect (spend time with) our relationship with our Lord and Savior.

  8. iLove to eat the Word

23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? 24This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

It appears this is the reason the disciples might have thought and preached that Jesus would come back in their own time. Apparently they believed that John would die before Jesus came back to set up the The kingdom.

This gives us insight into the thought process of mankind. Its easy to assume something and accept it as gospel; the truth on the other hand might be far different then want it appears.

  9. 3. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

    6. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

    9. As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

It doesn’t say that Jesus went fishing, it just says that when they got there with fish, some fish were already cooked!

He knew they had been fishing all night and were hungry, so He not only provided for their later with a great catch, he provided for ther now with breakfast…He’s still doing that today, He provides for our now and our later. He’s an On Time God!

  10. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me “more” than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

As a mom there is something naturally build inside of me that if a child is hungry to feed them. The same should be said about the church. It is our responsibility to feed His lambs. His Spirit will draw them but we must take time to feed them His Word.

  11. What are we feeding today?

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15-17‬ KJV)

Who are we feeding? JESUS made it rather clear that if we lived him we would be feeding the new babes in the kingdom. That doesn’t have to mean children, but new people in the kingdom. We should be encouraging others and helping all to eat the gospel. Lord help me to feed your sheep today.

  12. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing.

The lord will always bless those that work hard and obey. If the men had decided not to fish that night look what they would have missed. It was through their hard work and obedience that lead to their blessings.

  13. MORE than these

    John 21:15-17 (KJV Strong’s)

As a disciple we are spiritually fishing. The world is filled with many, and Christ has made us fishers of men. Preparation, grabbing the net, and ensuring the ship is sound are all part of the process.

A disciple is supposed to feed sheep. The sheep are the people of God. Whether it is a home bible study, Sunday school lesson, or preaching from the pulpit these are all important.

However we should never get our satisfaction from soul winning, and teaching only. These are all good, they serve a kingdom purpose, and are absolutely necessary. Yet this is the effect not the cause.

    The cause is loving Jesus.

The word for love that Jesus uses is the word Agapao. It can also be translated beloved.

Song of Songs 6:3 (KJV Strong’s)
3 I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine:
    he feedeth among the lilies.

When he is our beloved we are his beloved. When we set our affections on him, and his presence everything else will fall into line. Harvest, and ministry are important but we must never forget that our first love is Jesus. If we keep him first everything else will fall into place.

Deuteronomy 6:3-5 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and be watchful to do them, that it may be well with you and that you may increase exceedingly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
4 Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord [the only Lord].
5 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.

  14. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Just be obedient! You never know what greatness the Lord has in store!

  15. Amen

i am alpha and omega the beginning and the end and the first and last

prasie jesus everyday and you can get more from him

  16. MORE LOVE

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

The MORE factor here is that Peter must have been a man of strong leadership traits, strong that others naturally followed him. Hence, when Peter chose to go fishing the other disciples followed him. (3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.)

The MORE factor will challenge us to identify and testify of our LOVE for GOD not only HIS benefits.

John 12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

The MORE LOVE factor is revealed by our commitment to discipleship and obedience to the WORD of GOD.

Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

We are to LOVE others, but to LOVE GOD MORE, the LORD our GOD was wise in this counsel in the fact that he was able to ask Peter the disciple holding the Keys to the Kingdom that would lead all of mankind to the redemptive apostolic message preached in Acts 2. We as well must LOVE GOD MORE than people, position or power on this earth.

Consider the reason for 3 times…

Earlier Peter had denied Jesus beside a fire (18:18, 25). Now beside another fire he was restored publicly.
Jesus called him Simon Son of John, as He had when He first met Peter (1:42). Jesus asked him, Do you truly love Me more than these? What did Jesus mean by “these”? Jesus probably was referring to the disciples, in light of Peter’s proud statement that he never would fall away no matter what others did (Matt. 26:33, 35; Luke 22:33; John 13:37). Jesus’ threefold question and threefold commission of apostolic mission contrast directly with Peter’s three denials. Three times Peter said he did not even know the Lord (18:17, 25, 27); now three times he said he loved the Lord (21:15-17). No matter how great a person is, he may fall (cf. 1 Cor. 10:12). But God’s grace and forgiveness will restore the repentant. This provision of grace would be important, for the church would soon face great persecution and even church leaders would waver in their commitments.
Three times Jesus commissioned Peter to care for the flock: Feed My lambs; (v. 15); Take care of My sheep (v. 16); Feed My sheep (v. 17).

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGIve
    iReap
    iLead

  17. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

The first time I can recall reading this passage was when I was on a trip in Arkansas. I was standing on a lookout before a great valley, a good 5+ miles, being humbled by God, learning how the earth cannot contain all of God. Whenever I start to doubt the might of God, He reminds me of this moment and I brought back to worship Him. We should be abounding in thanks for His greatness and might! Praise the Lord!

  18. These buddies are just hanging our doing nothing. Simon Peter decides to go fishing; the rest go with him. There is nothing wrong with this. What I find wrong is somehow, Simon Peter winds up naked…? I have been on many fishing trips; never have I or any one I have been with wound up naked??

7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

  19. 15, “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me MORE than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”
19, “This spake he, signifiying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.”
20, “Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?”
21, “Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?”
22, “Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? Follow me.”

Phil. 2:12 say, “Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Jesus asked Peter a question. “Lovest thou me MORE than these?” Then he gave Peter a command, “Feed my lambs.” Down further in the scripture we see Jesus gives Peter another command, “Follow me.” Then Peter wants to know what is John (the disciple whom Jesus loved) suppose to do. Jesus said in very plan terms, “What business is it of yours. Just Follow Me.”

We have to stop wondering about what God is calling eveybody else to do, and just be OBEDIENT to what He is calling us to do. (We have to work out our own salvation). If we love Him MORE than anything else, we will be OBEDIENT to His commands to “Follow Him” and “Feed His Lambs.”

  20. And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭25‬ NKJV)

Just wow. To know there are things that we don’t even know about that Jesus did. Things people wouldn’t understand.

  21. As I was in prayer the Lord blessed me with these:

There is always “more” with Jesus

    “More”
*more “fish” v6. This represents more souls. Jesus said to follow him and he would make them fishers of men.
*more “clothes” v7 put more clothes on
*more “food” v12 spiritual and physical provision.
*more “fellowship” v15 they broke bread together and fellowshiped together.
    *more “love” v15
    *more “responsibility” feed my sheep.
*more “opportunity to be offended” v17 Peter was grieved
    *more “prophecy” v18
    *more “misunderstandings” v23
    *more “glory” v25

  22. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

    MORE than these?
Do we love him more than anything? If we say that we do than we should be prepared to prove it.

  23. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

All you have to do is have faith in him and obey him, and you will see what the Lord will do. Obeying him may not always be easy but once you do, God will do great things!!

  24. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Three times Jesus appeared to the disciples. Three times Peter denied Jesus, and three times Jesus asked Peter if he loved him & to feed his sheep. Three times Jesus prayed in the garden of Gesthemene & Jesus was placed on the cross at the 3rd hour of the day. In referencing the significance of the number 3, it refers to 3 being the number of perfect completeness and of his resurrection. His redemptive work is completed, and he now draws his disciples closer to him and will open their understanding of his word and their commission. We are not complete without Jesus-and we know that all we need will be found in him.

  25. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?

18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.😆

  26. I must say that I just LOVE the way the book of John closes its last chapter. It always brings a smile to my face and my heart swells and soars for the love of our most Precious Savior. Jesus touched so many lives and performed so many miracles just in the length of time He was on earth that trying to record it all would be nearly impossible. Hmmm…GOOD WORKS! I praise your name, Jesus!!

  27. Jesus the same yesterday today and tomorrow, we read and marvel over what he did in the bible, he does the same today! All we need to do is ask and trust!

  28. “lovest thou me”

    The Power of Love

After His death it is not a coincident that He would as Peter “lovest thou me” three times each times He puts “feed my sheep.” We must understand He had just gave himself on the cross for “His sheep,” He had just showed the ultimate form of love, and He just showed the power of true love.

He wanted Peter and us to understand that the power we process through love will bind us to obedience and the great commission. He could have called down angels to come off the cross but it was His love for us that kept him there. That same kind of love will blind us to obey His Word and feed His sheep today.

Daily Christ is reminded of the pain and dreadful experience He experienced on the cross yet He loves us and has no regret. This is to show us that we will feed His sheep and sometimes they will take of His word and walk in it for a while and probably make many mistakes but if we have His love it will bind us to them in such a way that we can dislike there actions but love them with His Word.

His love continues in the mist of pain and rejection. In fact in those times His love is even more evident in our lives. Now that is love.

Father teach me to love my family, friends, and even lives I do not event know yet in this way. Yet also give me wisdom to know when to place Your sheep in Your hands.

  29. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

The power if influence is a great leadership tool that we must be careful how to handle. We see here how Peter was a leader among the group. We should ask ourselves the question; who are we leading and who are we following. They spent time with The Lord learning about the Kingdom of God. Witnessing the miracles, praying for people, being servants of the master, our Lord Jesus. Yet now seems that they had let all that aside and did not continue to be that which the Master called them to be; fishers of men. We see another great miracle performed just for the disciples. Here Jesus demonstrates being constant in His leadership. He told them where to cast the net. We must always do it Jesus’ way. Then what I saw as a reminder to them all, He gave them fish and bread to eat. Showing His constant leadership. He did it before thousands now just to them. He changes not.

12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

Our influence can do great things in leading others. We should be wise to always be constant and lead other to the Master, Jesus that is inviting to come and dine.

Also three times Jesus asks the question to Peter if he loves him MORE than these?…

  30. 22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

All too often we as carnal people do exactly as Peter just did, we misinterpret or twist what Jesus is telling us.

  31. 6 He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Obey the Lord and more blessings will come! Thank you Jesus! ❤

  32. 5)Then Jesus said unto them ,children, have ye any meat? They answered him, no.
    6) And he said unto them, cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Stop, open your ears, listen and obey God and he will surely reward you.

  33. “Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?” If one does not truly listen, one will not hear. One would be wise to study, and hear what sayeth the word of God (Jesus), elsewise one could be misled. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

MORE: There was a reason Jesus (God) asked him three times.

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me MORE than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

  34. 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

    Following King Jesus.

The Lord just simply wants us to follow him, and stay holy and righteous for him. What a glorious God. I pray that I will see Jesus in everything I do that is Pleasing to Him. The sheep hear my voice….says Jesus.
    Today I will follow Him.

  35. 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me MORE than these?

Vs 15 Jesus wants us to love him MORE than anything else. If we want MORE, we have to give MORE.

  36. We serve such an amazing God. There is no such book that can contain the amazing things our God has done. If you will allow God, he will reveal himself to you.

  37. Obedience to what Jesus told Peter and the disciples to do brought about a great harvest of fish that they would not have had if they had not listened.

Obedience in our lives can produce an abundance “more” of many things, but it all hinges on our obedience to His commands. Will we obey or do things our way? The outcome will be determined by our actions.

  38. There is nothing outside the Kingdom

The disciples were busy fishing but they were spinning their wheels so to speak. Anything that we can gain from this world is naught unless Jesus is in it.

    Col 1:17
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

If Jesus isn’t in it, it is nothing.

I’m reminded of many times in my life when I was doing my own thing and it never paid off, but now in the kingdom I see his hand at work making a way.

    Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

But if God is not for you then everything is against you.

  39. 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.

Sometimes we are casting our net over the side of the boat with no results no matter how many times we seem to throw it over, we get nothing. But it could be the problem is you’re not listening to where God wants you to throw the net.

Now I’m no net fishermen, but it may have made more sense to them to cast it on the left side of the boat or they certainly didn’t think that casting it on the other side would make any difference. But when God is involved that makes all the difference in the world. Sometimes he tells us to do things that don’t make sense to our own mind. But we do not see what is happening in the spiritual so God is telling us to trust him because he knows what will happen when we take a step a faith and do what he commands us. Because he already sees the blessing in store in our lives.

  40. Jesus said to them come and have breakfast. None of the disciples dared ask him. Who are you? They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came took the bread and gave it to them and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he raised from the dead.

  41. Greater Things

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

    John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

    Daniel 11:32
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

The Gospels only give a taste of all Jesus did, and only a taste of what we are to do as believers. Greater things are coming than we have seen before, and they are available to us. We must not limit the future that God has in store but let it be defined by His infinite power  and ability.

  42. Peter’s grief.

    John 21:17
He *said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus *said to him, “Tend My sheep.

Some say Peter is grieved because of change of the word love that Jesus uses in this passage. He uses agape twice and phileo the third time.

To suggest their is a difference between phileō love and agapaō love is incorrect, for the meanings of the two words overlap. The word can also mean “kiss.”

Prior to biblical uses agape was a rarely used word that was a synonym for phileo and Eros (two greek words for love).

Peters grief is suggested in his saying,” lord you know all things, which also shows Peters humility.” Before the crucifixion, jesus had proved Peter wrong in that peter would deny Jesus three times. Here we see Jesus question him 3 times. Peter humbly admits that Jesus knows all things, and while Peter may doubt himself, he does not doubt his love for Christ.

  43. He is the God of MORE than enough……………………”MORE”…..”Abundant”…….

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
    ________________________________________________________________
This World couldn’t contain all the Good Works Jesus did, and all these things he did were not written. Because, maybe due to length of his GLORY train, or just as it is written this world couldn’t contain the books that should be written. Just to show you the vast abundant God we have & serve, in Christ Jesus……….”Things were omitted, search him out”………………

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

    “MERRY CHRISTMAS”………………………………………………………….

  44. So the rumor spread among the community of believers that this disciple wouldn’t die. But that isn’t what Jesus said at all. He only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭23‬ NLT)

It’s so easy for words to be misinterpreted or twisted, we have to be careful who/what we are listening to. We can’t get caught up in the gossip, murmuring, complaining or false doctrine. Protect yourself, deception is a poison that spreads rapidly and without the proper antidote you’ll surly die…

  45. 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
When the disciples obeyed the word of God they were blessed. They had already been working all night and were tired but Jesus gave them instruction, they obeyed received a miracle

  46. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen

Hallelujah!!!! There is MORE of Jesus that the world can’t contain, but when we see him in heaven we are going to be able to see HIM and worship him endlessly with no more pain, worries, or sadness:) what we read in the bible is only a part of Jesus so we shall not limit ourselves 🙂

Verily truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. (John 14:12)

  47. 25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

    Thank you jesus

  48. v ” Come and dine ”

LORD help us all to take a step of faith and move forward and be willing to obey Your Holy Word
and feed from a full net .

  49. Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore. (‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭7‬ NLT)

I think I would feel the same way as Peter. You guys can keep the fish I want Jesus. And then after coming to Jesus he received instructions to feed His sheep if he loved Him. My prayer is that I will become a good shepherd.

  50. Come and dine !!!! 12. Je’-sus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. Acts 10 : 41 13. Je’-sus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. Jesus you meet all our needs !!!! When we are hungry you feed us !!!!! When we are thirsty you give us drink !!!! Thank You Jesus !!!!
