Acts 2

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  1. The Birth of the Church

    16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Thank you Jesus for the HOLY GHOST, for He is my comforter, and I love that He is so gentle and loving, some people don’t believe in speaking in tongues, I feel bad because I know what the Holy Ghost have done for me and I KNOW what He can do for others. May the Holy Ghost proof Himself to you, may He give you peace and rest, and may He may guide you and comfort you all every day!!!!

  2. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

I pray that we all continue stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers, so that fear will come upon every soul: and many wonders and signs will be done and many souls added to His Kingdom.

  3. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

This is that, The Holy Ghost had fallen on the day of Pentecost and opened a new door for the people of God. There was revival in the land, God was pouring out his Spirit on the Jews today and getting ready to send wide spread revival across the world.
We can be a part of this revival today if we will seek God and allow his Spirit to guide us.

  4. Breaking of bread….

42/ they were in fellowship and in prayer, and breaking of bread..

I thank the Lord that I can go to a place of fellowship and be w the saints of God and be in truth. Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins and you shall recieve the Holy Ghost. I thank the Lord for the Holy Ghost. For waking me up to be a repentative heart…I maynot go to pofw right now but im going to a upci pentacostal apostolic church close to home and we all have the same Jesus living in us. He’s for all of us.
Thankyou Jesus I can fellowship w the children of God with the breaking of bread which is the Word of God.

Love yall in Jesus Name and love Jesus he is our comforter which is the Holy Ghost.

  5. 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Let it be so among the POFW.

    Daily we praise you Lord!

Give us favor in this region!

    Add to your church!

  6. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Well thank you Jesus. What a cool way to know you have the Holy Ghost. This is all real.

  7. Verses 38-40 MSG “Peter said, “Change your life. Turn to God and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, so your sins are forgiven. Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is targeted to you and your children, but also to all who are far away—whomever, in fact, our Master God invites.” He went on in this vein for a long time, urging them over and over, “Get out while you can; get out of this sick and stupid culture!”

vein: distinctive mode of expression, a distinctive element or quality, a line of thought or action, a special aptitude, a usually transitory and casually attained mood, top form.

We too have to be in top form, keep that line of thought and keep displaying that action as Peter…..urging over and over; until MORE and MORE are added.

  8. NLT 26 No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises!
My body rests in hope. 27 For you will not leave my soul among the dead
or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.

Thank God, as Christians we have something to look forward to after we pass from this world. We know there is a heaven and hell. The non-believers having nothing to look forward to, as they say, “we just die and rot away”.

Thank you God, for giving us eternal life, as we look forward to joining you, Jesus, in heaven.

  9. Slave Men and Women

    Acts 2:18 (KJV Strong’s)
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

How many times have you heard someone confess they wanted to be used by God? They say “I want to see signs, and miracles. I want to hear from God. I want to be like that Evangelist, that Prophet, that Pastor…”

So many want to be mightily used by God, but few are willing to do what that takes.

Acts 2:18 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
18 Yes, and upon men and women who are the slaves of others and yet belong to me, in those days I will abundantly bestow my Spirit and they shall speak by divine inspiration.

Wuest says that we are to be slaves of others but belong to him. A slave of others cannot complain when misused, offended, or mistreated. A slave has no right to back talk, or get upset when the task is too hard. They are a slave.

Acts 2:18 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels andpredicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom].

The Amplified tells what the word prophesy means. These will not just speak of future events but hear the “rhema” of God, and speak the oracles of God.

Slave – 1401. δοῦλος doúlos; gen. doúlou, masc. noun. A slave, one who is in a permanent relation of servitude to another, his will being altogether consumed in the will of the other

    Handmaiden – female doúlos

We are too completely surrender our will, our wants, our desires, our needs, our agenda, our passions, our feelings, and our concerns completely to Jesus. Our will must be completely consumed in his will.

James 4:7 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
7 Be subject with implicit obedience to God at once and once for all. Stand immovable against the onset of the devil and he will flee from you.

    1 Peter 5:5 (KJV Strong’s)
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

  10. Amen
acts 2 : 38 then peter said unto them repent and be baptized in the name of jesuschrist and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Ghost

    acts 2 : 39
for the promise is unto you and your children and to all that are afar of even even as many are lord are god shall call

  11. The Myth of Weekly Church.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

For most off life I have heard the myth of just going to church once or twice a week. But as we read here. It should be a daily
occurrence. This is when revival takes place. When we get that it’s not just a weekly deal. It’s an everyday, all your life journey. Revival can only start when our heart and lives are in line with God. Then He can add to the church daily. So we must ask ourselves what can we do MORE? To jump start a true outpouring of the Spirit in our city? Or are we just content with weekly meeting? It’s time to do MORE and be MORE

  12. LEADERSHIP 101 (2)

    16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Great Leaders arise in the face of adversity, accusation is one of the most invasive adversities in life, it is seated in the dialog of satan. We witness the Leadership of Peter here in chapter 2 as in we did in chapter 1.

    1. Peter was a praying man – 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.2. Peter exhibits courage – 15 Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples,

    2. Peter exhibits courage – 1:15 Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples,
Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

    3. Peter knew the Scriptures – 1:16 this scripture must needs have been fulfilled
    Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

    4. Peter recognized ministry – 1:17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
Acts 2:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

    5. Peter understood and explained the work of GOD – 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity;
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN of the water and the spirit. (John 3:5)

To be effective spiritual leaders we must

    1. Pray
    2. Exhibit FAITH
    3. Know the WORD of GOD
    4. Recognize the WORKs of GOD and man
    5. Preach the GOSPEL/Teach the TRUTH

We are able to accomplish MORE for the Kingdom of GOD by following these powerful Leadership principals exhibited by Peter after the death of JESUS and the suicide of Judas. In the midst of great pain and grief, Peter moved into his role as Leader among the disciples.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iLead

  13. The power of ONE

A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2‬:‭43-47‬ NLT)

There was a reverence for the Word of God.
    There was Unity.
    They gave all.
    They worshiped at the temple.
They went from house to house.
And The Lord brought GREAT REVIVAL to THE PENTECOSTALS OF FORT WORRH!!!

    Glory to GOD!!!!

  14. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

    Steadfast
g4342. προσκαρτερέω proskartereō; from 4314 and 2594; to be earnest towards, i.e. (to a thing) to persevere, be constantly diligent, or (in a place) to attend assiduously all the exercises, or (to a person) to adhere closely to (as a servitor): — attend (give self) continually (upon), continue (in, instant in, with), wait on (continually).

The word for steadfast is found in the New Testament 10 times, it’s translated as continued, continually, continuing, on, and instant. It’s the same word in acts 1:14 when the people gathered in the upper room continued with one accord and supplication.

With the same adherence to prayer that the apostles and the upper room believers had, the first church and new believers continued with daily. They were diligent in living for God from the beginning.

    Diligent is defined as:
constant in effort to accomplish something; attentive and persistent in doing anything: a diligent student.
done or pursued with persevering attention; painstaking: a diligent search of the files.

Living for God takes effort. Everyday we must be on purpose to live for Jesus. When we first receive the Holy Ghost we have the initial “I want this everyday!” “I will live for you Jesus!” But so many fall by the wayside over time. We need to cling to that initial devotion steadfastly and continue in it daily. It’s after continuing in prayer that the outpouring of Gods spirit happened, and about 3,000 souls were added to the kingdom. Revival comes with disciples who are steadfast in God.

  15. A promise to all
The invitation to respond to the Gospel remains unlimited . But acceptance of the Gospel carries with it a very special obligation TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS.

  16. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

They fellowshiped often and loved eachother with the same love and God gave them favour for their love for eachother

  17. “ALL” means none of us are except from the Power…

4 And they were “all” filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon “all” flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
36 Therefore let “all” the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
9 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to “all” that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

yet with that power comes responsibility…

    44 And “all” that believed were together, and had “all” things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to “all” men, as every man had need.

Then obedience and faithfulness to our responsibility grants us favor not only with God but with people.

47 Praising God, and having favour with “all” the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

  18. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

When they came together in unity and worshiped God, he added unto the church daily! If we come together as one to worship God, he will use our church to draw people into his kingdom! Lord I pray that you use our church to reach the lost!

  19. 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

I must be middle aged. I have not seen visions because when I was younger I was not fully committed to the Lord. I do not dream dreams, so I am not an old man. Thus, I am middle aged; thank you Jesus!

  20. 25 King David said this about him: ‘I see that the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
26 No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope.
27 For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.
28 You have shown me the way of life, and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’ (NLT)

How wonderful is it to know He is always with us; I find joy, peace, and gladness in You Lord!

  21. iLove to eat more Word

    “You are the one”
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Peter was full of boldness and stood up and confronted the multitude. He made sure they knew that they were the ones responsible for the crucification of the Lamb of God. He preached a very controversial message while he highlighted and underscored the word “you” throughout the whole sermon.

    (NKJV) 2:23Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, “you” have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death;

We must confess that ultimately it is our fault that we are in the situation that we are in and that it is Jesus who paid the ultimate price. The buck stops here and the blessing also starts here…with you.

  22. 3, “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”
4, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
42, “And they continued steadfastly (constant) in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

These verses reminded me of our Leadership Class when Pastor taught on “The Myth of Burnout.” There are 3 stages of Fire in the Word of God. “Burn In, Burn Out, Burn Up.” In order for us to keep the Fire of the Holy Ghost “Burning In” us, we need to PRAY and READ the Word of God DAILY, Steadfastly (constantly). If we don’t, we will Burn Out and Burn Up.

Keep the FIRE Burning! PRAY and READ the Word of God DAILY!
Thank You JESUS for the Holy Ghost!

  23. 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

We’ve been in the last days since The Day of Pentecost recorded here. We are seeing more and more of these signs & wonders as we come nearer to that “great & notable day” and yet the world becomes more & more wicked with the passing of time. The scripture tells us in Luke 16:26: “And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they who would pass from hence to you, cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” – Webster’s Bible
With this great chasm between heaven above & hell below, we must choose today whom we will serve. If we yeild our members to unrighteousness, it is satan we serve, but if we yeild our members to serve Christ-we are his servants. I choose to serve my Jesus.

  24. 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

I have been raised in the church all my life and my dad being a preacher we went to church (as the preacher that came to our church and told about Zack…church zack, church zack) that was how i was raised. I faintly remember seeing miracles done in my lifetime (which i’m not that old). I believe when we come together as a whole and in one accord we are going to see miracles that are going to blow our minds. I remember when we would go to a church service afterwards different ones would bring different finger foods and we would eat and share stories of the Glory of God. why do we not do that anymore? who knows. Its time we are come together and unite and be there for each other.

  25. “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” One should praise God (Jesus) first and foremost because he is worthy. One that will praise God regardless of the circumstance, may just be the key to one’s own or another’s victory. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  26. 47) Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Lord use us to bring hurt and broken people into your house so that they can receive the gift you have given to us.

  27. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
When a church is in unity together with God, blessing from God come! Thank you Jesus for giving us the Holy Ghost and let our church be in unity with you! 🙂

  28. 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Although many denominations teach this as part of their doctrine , we don’t. We teach about repentence, baptism in Jesus name….

  29. The power of the Holy Ghost is such a wonderful thing. The feeling of receiving the Holy Ghost for the first time has been explained in several different ways. It all comes down to an amazing experience.

  30. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Thank you Lord for the freedom we have to openly worship you! I pray that our love for you will continue to be a guiding light for the darken world. Praise be to God!

  31. vss.38- 39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost .
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call .

Its a great privilege to obey and follow in the steps of Jesus.
” If ye love me, keep my ,commandments”
    John 14:15

  32. All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper ), and to prayer. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2‬:‭42-47‬ NLT)

    All believers devoted themselves to
    1. Apostles’ teaching
    2. Fellowship (partnership)
    3. Breaking of bread
    4. Prayer

I want to be like the first church. Getting back to the basics.
    I love the Truth!

  33. More Hope

    Acts 2:26
Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope

What is God showing us that is giving us hope? His Word is filled with hope, perhaps another question is, are we looking for what He’s showing us? The Lord speaks life for those who would receive it; whenever we feel down, hope is never farther than truly seeking the Lord.

    Psalm 39:7
And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.

  34. Our example

    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Their communion and love for one another mirrored their love for God. This is another step to seeing our church become what God wants it to become. We have to be unified to the point that we are breaking bread with one another and sharing things. We do that at POFW but their is another level. Their should be no difference in us between how we treat the brothers and sisters in the Lord versus our natural ones. If we can get to that level we will see retention of much more souls in our church. It is Gods will that we not only reach people but that we also keep them by giving them something more than what is required. Make deciples through being real!

  35. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
In these verses Peter made it clear as day you are the reason why Jesus was crucified! He convicted the people to the point that they asked “what shall we do?” This opened Peter up for the opportunity to preach the salvation message and lead them to repentance, baptism, and the holy ghost!

  36. This Chapter, or scripture in itself speaks in very large powerful volumes or God’s awesome plan of salvation, power or miracles, signs and wonders. In this, scripture has also prophesied in the last days of mighty outpouring of the Holy Ghost, with great signs and wonders. “Send the Special Endtimes Annoiting, Father in Jesus name, I pray, Amen & Amen.” WE ALL ARE WITNESSES…………………..

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

My Daddy has the power, to make my enemies my footstool. In Jesus name, Amen & Amen…..

35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

  37. Koine Greek

    Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

I have heard it said that God used tongues to speak to everyone this day since they didn’t speak the same language. Those who hold fast to this argument are ignorant of history. Koine Greek was the universal language of much of the known world. It was the language of commerce and was spread by Alexander the Great hundred of years prior to this event. Tongues is a sign of the Holy Spirit. Those who preach otherwise are misguided.

  38. 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
More than glad. JESUS is a merciful God. Thank you lord that when we seek you, we get…MORE!!!!

  39. Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away —all who have been called by the Lord our God.” (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2‬:‭38-39‬ NLT)

    He made a promise!

    Promise- noun
: a statement telling someone that you will definitely do something or that something will definitely happen in the future
: an indication of future success or improvement
: a reason to expect that something will happen in the future

If He said it I believe it! For you, your children and all those who are far away

  40. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Dout sets in when you start to question the motives of God or your elders.

  41. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Hallelujah!!!! A PROMISE!!!!! Unto my children and those afar off 🙂 no doubt in my mind that if I am faithful to you my children will not astray from your path but keep fighting the battle!!! Thank you Jesus for that promise because in you I trust 🙂

  42. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

In the U.S. as advanced and grown as it has become you can pretty much find a church in every corner. The real question is but can you find the truth? We must hold strong to the this heritage of Truth of Apostolic doctrine. Every word counts in the Book of books. Some omit stuff from the bible, others debate about we are in the grace period and not law. We must be careful and continue to stay steadfast in the doctrine of the apostles. You don’t want to be a tittle too short of your salvation.

  43. Acts 2:17 in the last days God says I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see visions your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants both men and women. I will pour out my spirit in those days.

  44. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

What is our speech saying about us? Can we be convicted of being Apostolic? They could tell by their language that they was speaking something different their normal language.

  45. 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Very true glory god to be save.

  46. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

It’s probably what I stuggle with the most, is getting a comment on this blog on a daily basis. The challenge to be a daily in reading the Word and in prayer is important.

  47. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

A glorious and wonderful beginning to the start of the forming of the body of Christ and his church!

  48. One Accord !!!! 1. AND when the day of Pen’- te-cost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4. And they were all filled with the Ho’-ly Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spir’-it gave them utterance. Jesus I Love You and Adore You !!!!
