Romans 10

1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

  1. For the scripture saith. He who believe in him, shall not be ashamed. I have no shame in my game anymore. God’s grace and mercy are enough. I’m a team player on the best team ever. God’s team.

  2. Lord let me have the zeal for you. That I might have the passion to speak your name every time I talk to someone. Let me never be ashamed of you or your word, but speak of you with boldness. In your wonderful name amen!

  3. Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ. -Romans 10:17NET

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: -Ephesians 2:8

I remember the day when the preacher began to preach directly to me. It drove me to the altar where faith was mixed with the word. I lifted my hands and began to pray. Suddenly I felt something start at the tip of my fingers and moved all the way to my feet. I danced and rejoiced before the Lord and then began to speak in unknown tongue! 💥🔥🔥🔥😛🔥🔥🔥

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. -Galatians 1:11

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. -Hebrews 4:2

  4. 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

As we approach Sunday Evening Service, I remember how humbling was my first foot washing service. I remember the prayers and the love that was demonstrated one for another. You see I never used to go on that day until we became part of the POFW family. Not because I was proud, which I was but because I was taught in the Catholic religion that only men in leadership were to partake. I love my sisters in the Lord and God has reveal so many beautiful things while I prayed for my sisters. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

To Gainsay = contradict, disaffirm, disallow, disavow, disclaim, disconfirm, disown, deny, negate, negative, refute, reject, repudiate

Here is Christ, our Redeemer, stretch out His Pierced Beautiful Hands, and Israel still does not recognize HIM as the Messiah. Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

  5. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is no difference between any people of any race it will take the same message to all. He is the same Lord and savior to all generations, the message is still the same.
We must all learn to call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ if we want to be saved.

  6. 12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

    13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I’ve heard people that used this scripture for their whole plan of salvation, but it never said that this is all you have to do; it is just stating that whether you are Jew or Greek, you can be saved. This is the starting line, not the finish line.

  7. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” (‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬ NKJV)

What ever happens in life. No matter how bad this world can beat you down always trust in him never lose your hope in him. He will never leave nor forsake you. Just trust him. If your alive and well then he had his hands covering you.

  8. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

BELIEVING is the key for salvation! Many do not believe in Jesus and are not able to see what God has in store for them! We were all made to be conquerors because God died for us but you have to BELIEVE an leave everything behind in the past!
I am not ashamed in who I believe in because there is a God that can do ANYTHING & EVERYTHING! NOTHING is to hard for him but we do have to believe and carry him near our hearts.
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7
I ask you Lord that you may give me MORE wisdom and knowledge to know you MORE & MORE Jesus! Open up my eyes and help me see how you see Jesus!

  9. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

It should be our desire that all should be saved. It will be especially sad in the day of judgment that there will be those that thought they were saved but did not ever come to the full knowledge and truth of the Gospel. We cannot give up on preaching the truth.

  10. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

How are we praying for the lost? Are we truly desiring God to save the lost or just saying a simple prayer to get us through the day. When you read this chapter you can see the hearts desire is for God to save the lost .
Must become more like Paul and say can’t go another day and not to others about God or bring someone to church I believe that’s the calling God has for everyone that we desire to see the lost save more then anything.

  11. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We know that Paul is writing to saints at Rome, so we understand that these are saved folks. However, he is still teaching the Jews the more perfect way. Every saint of God needs correction, insight into the word like we received last night and direction. Thank God for our Pastor and those the Lord calls to preach his precious gospel to us!

  12. And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying, “I was found by people who were not looking for me. I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.” But regarding Israel, God said, “All day long I opened my arms to them, but they were disobedient and rebellious.” (‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭20-21‬ NLT)

I don’t take my salvation lightly. I’m very thankful for Gods grace and mercy. His is so faithful and so good to me. I’m glad to be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar child God.

He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. (‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭10-13‬ NLT)

  13. Confess the Lord and Believe in your heart and you shall be saved

    Romans 10:11 (KJV Strong’s)
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Believe – (Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary) pisteuo (πιστεύω, 4100), “to believe,” also “to be persuaded of,” and hence, “to place confidence in, to trust,” signifies, in this sense of the word, reliance upon, not mere credence.

.intrans. to think to be true; to be persuaded of; to credit, place confidence in; a conviction, full of joyful trust, that Jesus is the Messiah—the divinely appointed author of eternal salvation in the kingdom of God, conjoined with obedience to Christ: to give one’s self up to, Jesus to intrust a thing to one, i. e. to his fidelity (THAYERS)

Belief in the Greek is not mere mental persuasion, or mental agreement and acceptance. Believing is a verb of action where the subject doesn’t just think it to be true but lives it as truth.

James 1:22 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
22 Moreover, keep on becoming doers of the Word and stop being hearers only, reasoning yourselves into a false premise and thus deceiving yourselves,

Romans 10:14 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
14 How is it possible then that they shall call upon the One in whom they did not believe? Moreover, how is it possible that they will believe on the One concerning whom they did not hear? And how is it possible that they shall hear without one who proclaims?

The Bible is true. Every word of it.

    Romans 10:9 (KJV Strong’s)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Confess means a covenant. (Mounce’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and) adopt the same terms of language

Covenants are agreements of action with terms of one party promising to do one thing while the other promises to do another.
    If…then…

Covenants are not kept by just speaking out loud but by living then out daily.

Both confession and believing are active and not passive. Confession and believing happen through daily OBEDIENCE to the word of God.

No amount of mental acceptance or words spoken could ever fulfill the biblical roles of confession and believing.

  14. 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Amen and that’s what we all want and need is MORE faith. When the disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith he said if we has faith as big as a grain of a mustard seed we can speak to the sycamore tree and tell it to be removed and cast into the sea. Well we also have this promise that hearing his. word will increase word will increase our faith. But i wont settle for one mustard seed i want to move mountians! In Jesus name.

  15. And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them. And how will anyone go unless someone sends him. That is what the scriptures are talking about when they say HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OT THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE WITH GOD AND BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS.

  16. Feet, feet, feet…
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

What a timely message last night. What a great opportunity to hear the teachings of such a Godly woman. What a blessed people we are to have such resources available to us!

  17. Salavation

    Romans 10:9
    that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

This is the fundamental human reaction to grace that saves us. Without beliving and confessing, repentance and baptism are null in void. Baptism in Jesus name has no effect on an individual who will not repent, confess Jesus with their mouth, or believe in Christ in their heart. With this foundation of truth, one remains lost.

We must be aware of those around us that have faith and believe in Christ who need help or truth. Many believe but that isnt enough. Many are used by God but that isnt enough. We must help one another to have a real relationship with Christ.

  18. 13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

“There is room in the house of God for every body!!” as Bro. Cornwell would say. Sometimes people don’t feel their voice is heard for one reason or another. It’s our job though to teach His gospel and let everyone know they are not only welcomed with open arms but heard and loved not just by us but God.

  19. 1, “BRETHREN, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.”

Yestereday, we read that Paul was in heaviness and continual sorrow for Israel, because they were not saved. Today, we read that his heart’s desire and his prayer to God is that Israel might be saved.

I was thinking, this is the same kind of burden and the same kind of prayers we need for the city of Fort Worth and the regions around us. Do we have a burden for the souls of Fort Worth?
Is it our heart’s desire to see souls saved in Fort Worth?
Are we praying to God enough, so that, the people of Fort Worth might be saved?

    MORE Burden!
    MORE Desire!
    MORE Prayer!
For the souls in the city of Fort Worth.

  20. 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Thank God for his word. And thank God for the men of God that preach it! We are blessed to have so many great men and women in this church who bless us with God’s word and inspire faith and passion in our hearts.

  21. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

So many people hinge their salvation on this one verse, which wasn’t even spoke by Christ. If this were all it took why would Jesus tell us differently? Why would Peter, whom Jesus gave the keys to the kingdom to, say to do more? Why would Jesus say even the devils believe and tremble in fear? We all know the devils are not going to heaven, so why is Paul writing this?

The answer is simple when we take the time to stop and look at who he is writing to, not a bunch of lost souls on the street, but the church at Rome. Paul is writing to a bunch of tongue talking, baptized in Jesus ne for the remission of their sins saints. That’s right, a bunch of converted sinners, that have the same everyday struggles as the next group of people, an he is simply trying to encourage them to keep their faith, and keep up their walk.

  22. Verses 8-10 MSG “So what exactly was Moses saying? The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest. It’s the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming word to God—“Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!”

Same verses AMP “But what does it say? The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach, Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.”

Welcome the Lord in with the word of faith and trust/rely in His truth. In verses 14-17 MSG a portion says “Before you trust, you have to listen.” Psalm 46:10 KJV says “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

  23. iLove to eat More Word More and More

    More Faith
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    Faith G4102
    πίστις
    pistis
    pis’-tis
From G3982; persuasion, that is, credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; abstractly constancy in such profession; by extension the system of religious (Gospel) truth itself: – assurance, belief, believe, faith, fidelity.

Faith comes by hearing…But Paul is trying to stress that the Jews heard the Word, but they dont let it into their hearts. 10 “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Many times the modern day church is exactly like Israel. The preaching comes across the platform and the church hears the Word but somehow fails to allow it to enter the heart.

When something enters the heart it rejoices the soul!

Lets get more faith through more Word allowing more to penetrate our hearts.

  24. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

There are many “religious” people in the world that have a great zeal for God, but do not have the knowledge of truth. Like Paul writing to the Romans, we must have a desire to introduce them to this truth. We must go were they are, make a friend, be Jesus to them and show them the way more plainly. For some we are the only bible they will read, and for others, they have knowledge of the word but are lacking the relationship of being born in the spirit.

  25. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

God’s desire is for the whole world to be saved, anyone who trusts God is acceptable to god and not everyone understands that. Anyone can love God and go to Church and read and hear the word but do they have faith in God.

Do you want to go to HEAVEN, God is waiting on us.

  26. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Some people who claim themselves to be followers of Christ are really not because they have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God. Instead as the scripture says, they create their own righteousness and way of living.

It’s like taking God’s word and only taking out the pieces you want to take out and leaving out the parts that you don’t want to listen to. This is not submitting to God but it is creating your own rules and regulations for your life, and it is perverting God’s word.

It’s not enough just to have a zeal for God, but you also need to learn to submit to him in all things in your life, if you don’t submit then all your doing is simply acting in rebellion which the bible compares to witchcraft.

So remember to submit to God and the people that God has placed as authority figures in your life, otherwise you are just creating your own righeousness

  27. What’s his number?

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You cannot call someone that you don’t have their number. Jesus has made himself and the kingdoms of God available through us and the spreading of his gospel. God uses people to reach other people. This is why we have to get out on outreach. We are not waiting on God but rather him waiting on us. Faith without works is dead. We know how to get in touch with God so share the number!

  28. PREACH MORE

What a powerful chapter, revelation in the WORD of GOD is so unique and powerful. The WORD of GOD presents the hearer with a challenge and opportunity. The WORD of GOD oftentimes challenges to change, our pattern of thinking, our ways of living or our attitude toward life situations. Without the BOLDNESS of PREACHING we would all be lost.

I am extremely thankful today for men of GOD that have preached to me over the years. WS Fielding, ER Givens, Tom Foster, Jeff Arnold, Wayne Huntley, Mark Morgan, Anthony Mangun and Raymond Woodward just to name a few that have brought me to live changing decisions by the preaching of the WORD of GOD.

Let us purpose in our hearts to PREACH MORE, Hear MORE Preaching, Heed MORE Preaching, Do MORE Preaching. The pulpit at the church is not the only place to preach; there are nursing homes, apartment clubhouses, boys and girls clubs, street corners, and any other place we can gather a group of people.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iPreach
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  29. Romans 10:16 but not all the lstaelites accepted the good news. For isaiah says. Lord who has belivied our message? Consequently faith comes by hearing the message and the message is heard though the word about Christ.

  30. vss. 13- 17 For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, expect they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tiding of good things!
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Thank GOD for the preaching of HIS WORD.
WE’VE heard the phrase” No man is an island to himself. ” Somebody had to pray for us, preach the word of GOD, baptize us in Jesus Name , and teach us and disciple.
Salvation is a process and it involves other people.
As Holy Ghost filled believers we have a calling, a ministry. There is something GOD wants us to do that others might be saved also.
HIS SPIRIT makes us able, fit to experience and administer spiritual life. ( All of us have this responsibility). Thank you JESUS HE did not leave us powerless, and plus the LORD is counting on us.
Our personal relationship with JESUS will help ministry too others.

  31. 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I want more and more faith to be added unto me daily! I will build my faith up on the word of God!

  32. Romans 10:8 ESV
    But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);

Psalm 119:11 I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
God’s word is our guide in life, our protection against sin.
Psalm 119:105 Your Word is a lamp for my feet; a light to my path.

  33. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

As I read this I was reminded of the people that believe on the trinity,, or other denomination or religions that do not have the knowledge of the revelation of the name, Jesus. Then we hear that faith comes by hearing. So we are not all called to pulpit ministry but we are all called to proclaim boldly, preach the word, and make fescuples. Every weekend we are sent with an invitation and the opportunity to speak to whomever we meet and encounter. There are many people of God that need to hear.

  34. 1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
I pray this daily for my lost family. If we don’t pray for our families who will pray for them?
I believe this is the year that backsliders are coming back to God!

  35. 13)For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
    14) How shall they call on him in whom they have not belived? and how shall they belive in him of whom they have never heard? and how shall they hear with out a preacher?

Thank you Jesus for , making a way out of no way.For sending your word to my family so that we could be saved, and have the honor to be able to praise you name.

  36. amen
    roman 10:1
brethren my hearts desire and prayer to god for israel is that they might be saved.

my god is awsome and i will prasie for as long as i live and i believe there will be more and more revival in the house of god.

  37. “For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.” They were so focused on what they believed that they missed it. One that believes they are right, and is unwilling to heed the word of God (Jesus), or obey the man of God, will be lost. Hearing the word of God is not enough, submission is required. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  38. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

We could easily use this verse to get on a pulpit. Some do it for glam, or acknowledgement or praise. Some use the pulpit to push there own agrendas. The preacher pulpit this verse is talking about is the sidewalks in neibhorhoods, the street corners, in a chair at a home bible study,on a bedside at a hospital bed, not at a church.

Your worker, the grocery teller, the person sitting next to you at lunch, the homeless man you pass by everyday, what do they all have in common? They all need a preacher. Are you willing to be that preacher?

    More EVANGELISM!

  39. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

I am reminded of the tower of Babel here. The people wanted to build a tower to heaven, so they could not be swept away by another flood. They defied God and were seeking their own glory. When Moses return down the mount with the 10 commandments, the people had made a calf of gold and were worshipping it. Human nature desires to build themselves gods that they can be manipulated and controlled. The revelation of the righteousness of God is the glow of His marvelous light dwelling within us. Moses face glew because he was in Gods presence. The people were convicted. Ignorance is no longer an excuse.

  40. 20. But Isaiah is very bold and says:
    ” I was found by those who did not seek Me;
I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me”.
So happy that I Was found even I was not seek for Him.
The apostle Paul wrote my prayers are for Israel who was rebellious. Yes we are so blessed that the Lord chooses us to be His people and do not forget about Israel, and prayed for them, that our Lord be His Lord, even The Lord promised to do it.

  41. 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So ,I that hearth the word of God strengthens my faith in God cometh by hearing the word of God, I that have faith in me ,have no doubt that I will receive his word that, I hearth in prayer !!! In Jesus Name Amen !!!

Mark 11:22 And jesus answering saith unto them, have faith in God

  42. 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Reminded me of the message “More Faith” you know the Word is truth and needs no formal introduction. In the plan of God we must understand without someone living and preaching the Word it would be hard to reach humanity. “The Word” is not just the pages of our black leather Bible but those pages should be inside of us. Our life’s “Work” should display the Biblical principles in the Word of God. For the moment it becomes unlawful to carry a Bible I won’t fight with ya. Don’t get me wrong… I will let you know that if you take my Book you will be wrong and headed on a road to distruction. Yet… you can take my leather bound Bible but you haven’t taken “The Word” because it’s in me. So, you might as well give me my Bible back because the only way you will silence me is if you get rid of me. Oh and by the way there are many others like me that will not give up “The Word” better yet I know the creature and His Word which is “The Word” shall remain even after this World ends.

To all the children and young people… last Synergy Rally my husband made the statement “you can take prayer out of schools but you can’t take the Christian out of our young people.” So be faithful to His Word and hide it in your hearts. If your going to stand for anything stand for the Bible “The Word” of God.

  43. the Chosen People

21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

This scripture tells of the loving kindnesses of God. He wants to STRETCH out to his people, even when they are not listening to him. When they are full of self and this world God is still reaching for them. What we must understand is that as God is seeking for MORE he is reaching to get us. We are his chosen people. God wants MORE people to consecrate themselves to Him. He is stretching. Are we willing to give him out hand?

  44. More Word

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

We feed our faith when we feed on the Word. Through personal devotion, listening to godly music with scripture in its lyrics, listening to anointed preaching, etc, we can saturate our lives with God’s Word. As we hear His Word, we have the opportunity to mix our faith with it and from that our faith will grow.

    Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

  45.  Romans 10:14
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

This verse spoke to my heart directly:
Because we are saved and we know how wonderful it is to know that all of our sins were washed away. We sure have the burden to share the gospel to everyone in our community, work, school etc. LET ALL THE FORT WORTH know that their is a God who loves them, that he send his beloved son to die for our sins so that we can have everlasting life. This is why I can see now why is so important to attend OUTREACH so that we can take the Gospel of Salvation to everyone in FORT WORTH and the surrounding areas.

    Roman 10 : 15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

My favorite part of this verse
HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, AND BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS.

Lord give Me passion for the loss souls….
    Give me a BURDEN!!!

  46. People believe in all sorts of things. Buddah, horoscopes, peers. The list goes on. The bible says that all the things of this world will fade away. Why believe in things when everything will pass. God is the only belief in this world that will never hurt us or leave us!

Thank you Jesus for your consistent hand.

    MORE Belief!

  47. 10 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved.

What is your desire? Is it your desire to pray and fast? Is it your desire to be apart of this world?

I pray that the desire of my heart never shifts from the face of God. That my desire will always be to be in the presence of God. To desire to see the lost souls saved, to see the children in my Sunday School class continue to grow and learn in the house of God. This is my desire, what’s yours?

  48. Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being Ignorant of God righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God

Do we know God? Or do we know about him?

Sometimes we can go about our lives living off what we know about God. We live off of preaching’s, off of songs, and we are even able to quote scriptures. We go from church service to church service thinking that we are doing God’s will. We even participate and help out at church Thinking that we are right with God and yet there is still something missing. When we are home, work or at school we try to be Christ like but we can’t there is something else. We are thinking with our human mind but until we SUBMITT! To God’s Word and to his authority then will we be able to fully understand his will. Then and only then will we be able to have an intimate relationship with God and won’t be the same after. Cause once you submit to him everything changes. We SUBMITT to You Lord!!
