Romans 12

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

  1. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

    Love people like We ever have before….

    I pray that I really dont have any enemies. But sometimes they seep through the cracks and most od the time its because of me something I did to them or said to them. Then they harbor unforgiveness in thier heart towards me. We try to make it right with them but they just wont forgive no matter how hard we try to make right with them.

    I pray today that I can work on having peace with all men and learn to love unconditionally and help those who are in need of a true savior which is JESUS. HE’S THE ANSWER for all generations now and forever. Thankyou Jesus for the pofw blog. Which is Your(JESUS) Word.

    Bless You Lord.

    Ps. Dont worry about what prople think or say about you esp. if your obeying God and serving Him (Jesus) like with all Your Heart…”forgive them Lord for they not know what they are doing.”

  2. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

    Dissimulation = the pretending of having virtues, principles, or beliefs that one in fact does not have.

    When people tell me, “Oh, you are Pentecostal?, I think your churches are too loud, and I don’t think all you do is necessary. A church should be quiet and respectful.” This is one of the verses I use… LOVE SHOULD BE BOISTEROUS!!!!!! When you are in LOVE, truly in LOVE, you want to scream it to the world, and I am in LOVE with my JESUS.

    Cleave – to adhere firmly and closely or loyally and unwaveringly.

    When things get rocky and life turns into a turmoil, I close my eyes and see myself just holding on to Christ with all my strength and when I open my eyes I know He never leaves me nor forsakes me. When young people define their relationships as on and off, my answer usually is then you better move on…LOVE SHOULD NOT WAVERED BACK AND FORTH LOVE IS STABLE, LOYAL, UNWAVERING!!!! NEVER LETTING GO. THAT’S MY JESUS, MY CHRIST, MY SAVIOR, REDEEMER, AND FRIEND.

  3. 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    God wants people everywhere to understand that, by his mercies we are what we are. That we should give God all our bodies and allow him to be God and Lord of our lives. Not allowing the world into our lives to move us, but that we should let the Power of God (the Holy Ghost) transform us, by the renewing of our mind.
    We find here both verse 1 and 2 use the word acceptable. We should always try to be sure that God has accepted what we do in our lives and with our lives. If what we do is Holy it will be acceptable with God, because our God is a Holy God!!!!

  4. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye presents your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 and be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your spirit that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

    It is God’s will that we present ourselves holy, and not in the same manner as this world. God has intended us to be different. The things we wear should be presentable. The places we go should acceptable. Be the person that would reflect God.

  5. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

    5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

    6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,

    when different strengths are combined through teamwork, more can be accomplished.

  6. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    In this world, when transforms us and makes us a new creation, we are not to keep this to ourselves, but we are here to show our new selves to others in this world.

    As children of God, we represent him to other people in this world. Other people will look at us and they will use what we represent to judge what our God is like, so the question is what are you representing to other people? Are you showing a loving God or are you showing something entirely different that will turn people away.

    Make sure you are representing the God you want to be represented, that you let his light shine through you so that other people can see the light.

  7. 12 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
    2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (NLT)

    Reminds me of a song that says, “To please You, I live for; to know You, I Long for Your will.” I want all that I do to be for Him, according to His will. Transform and renew me Lord!

  8. amen
    romans chapter 12 :12
    and so dear brothers and sisters i plead with you to give your bodies to god because of all he has done for you let them be a living and holy sacrifice the kind he will find acceptable. this is truly the way to worship him.

  9. MORE GOOD

    The struggle for Eternal LIFE is Temporal. We are challenged in this LIFE to do MORE GOOD than evil that happens to us. The LORD our GOD is more efficient and effective at vengeance. We must Repent and Release the urge to “Get Even” with those that have hurt us.

    A heart of FAITH says that if I was wronged GOD will repay.

    We are challenged to not fall to the temptations of evil, but can keep ourselves out of demise by overcoming evil by doing MORE GOOD.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  10. 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

    This gospel is not about just one person. The work should not be done by just a few. There are many jobs to be done in the kingdom of God. When we work for God the payoff is much greater than any earthy award. Let us be busy doing our father’s business.

  11. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

    As Spirit filled Christians we should do everything in our power to not let our witness be evil spoke of. Our example, our lifestyle, our integrity in our families, our work, our relationships would all speak of Jesus. Sometimes we have to agree with the adversary quickly in order to keep peace, but one of the greatest attributes we can possess is the ability to live peaceably with all men.

  12. 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    We cannot let this world transform us into the person God never intended on us to be! It is only by the mercy of God that we are all here, so we need to live for him and him alone! Where would we all be if it wasn’t for his mercy? We need to live our lives holy and acceptable! Nobody is perfect but we should strive to be in the house of God! We don’t need worldy things to be the guide in our life, but let God be over our lives and the Holy Ghost show us the path to take!

  13. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

    10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

    11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

    12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

    13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

    14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

    What a great chapter that shows what we are striving to become in our walk with God! These scriptures must become burned into our hearts and minds as seek a closer walk with God and strive to be more like him each day! These words outline the daily habits each of us need to display to further love and unity within the body of Christ! Help me Lord to be more like you through your word.

  14. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    Hallelujah! Jesus! Amazing advice for any situation that you may be in. Despite the circumstance of any individual we all need each other to work for the kingdom of God. We all have different talents and gifts that are all necessary to be used for His kingdom. Just like the body the ear can’t do what the foot does and the foot can’t do what the eat does. It’s important to have that unity because we need each other. Like I’ve said before if we have our focus on Jesus and not on men everything will be great because when you focus is on men you begin seeing all the flaws and mistakes that men do but when you focus on Jesus you see how He sees, love how He loves, gives how He gives, walks how He walks, and you will be sensitive to His Spirit and be able to witness to somebody that is hurt!
    10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
    Don’t let the devil destroy what is ours! The devil just wants to steal, kill, destroy. The devil is under out feet and I will only proclaim the blessings that Jesus has upon ours lives! The devil is a liar and Jesus shall abide joy, mercy, grace, peace, love, and favor in us so we can share it with others. Don’t let devil take over but take over evil with Good!
    Thank You Jesus for your Word!
    MORE LOVE TOWARDS OTHERS

  15. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

    I will rejoice for all things that my father has put in my life and blessed me with and I will rejoice with others that my god has blessed and I will cry beside thoses that been blessed by my lord in christ In Jesus Name Amen!!

    Matthew 11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me !!

  16. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭19‬ NKJV)

    Let God be the judge. Not you. Let him get the revenge. Don’t catch yourself somewhere you don’t wanna be because you decided to put matters in your own hands. Let God do it.

  17. Romans 12:3 for by grace given me I say to every one of you ,do not think of yourself more highly than you ought but rather think of yourself with sober judgment inaccordance wit faith God has distributed to each of you.

  18. iLove to eat More Word

    God Has Given All of Us Gifts
    Romans 12:6 NLT “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.”

    When we get baptized in Jesus Name and are filled with the Holy Ghost, we enter into the body of Christ. Once we enter, then we are given gifts, and these gifts are for use in the Kingdom. There is a job for everyone in the kingdom of God. In fact, if you are not working then you are considered lazy.

    Romans 12:11 “Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.”

  19. 10, “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.” (KJV)
    10, “Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.” (NLT)

    MORE Love and MORE Honour for our brothers and sisters in the Lord!

  20. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    Without a renewing of the mind, we can not prove what is the good, and acceptable will of God.
    A transformation has to take place with our mind set. Our passions and feelings and desires even emotions are in the mind.

    Essentially the very core of what make us a living being, needs a transformation and renewing to be a susceptible vessel to receive Gods will.
    More RENEWING

  21. More Love

    9 Love, let it be without hypocrisy. Look with loathing and horror upon that which is pernicious. Stick fast to that which is good.
    (Romans 12:9 Wuest)

    9 Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good.
    (Romans 12:9 Message)

    9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
    (Romans 12:9 NLTse)

    9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
    (Romans 12:9 KJVStrongs)

    Love should never be hypocritical. The word dissimulation means to love with hidden intentions, and feelings. It is purposeful deceit to try and get something over on someone.

    dissimulation – to hide under a false appearance (Webster)

    There are some who try and use love to manipulate, and get their way but God knows their hearts.

    18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
    (1 John 3:18 KJVStrongs)

    18 Little children, let us not love [merely] in theory or in speech but in deed and in truth (in practice and in sincerity
    (1 John 3:18 AMP)

    God is love. When we portray love insincerely we portray God wrong. Our love should be as his love. Genuine, compassionate,and true.

  22. Our worship

    Romans 12:1-3
    Dedicated Service
     Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
    For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

    Holiness is our form of worship. We have an attitude of thanksgiving bc of our salvation. We are servants. We are not like this workd. Corporate America is dog eat dog. Gods kingsom is help one another. We are to not think highly of ourselves because God gives us each a measure of faith. We act out on what he had already given us.

  23. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

    5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

    6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

    We are ONE!!! UNITY!!!
    THANK YOU DADDY!!! I PRAISE YOU

  24. Roman 12:1 I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God , that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    Everyday that we live our lives, we should be presenting ourselves to God. That is, reading his word, praying, fasting, worshiping, and praising Him. Everyday that we read his word, should renew our minds because God’s Blessings are new everyday. His spirit is fresh daily if we tap into it. Why did Paul urge us to present our bodies a living sacrifice? Because life in this world is very demanding, from our jobs, to school, to our families and our busy schedules. They can wear us down to the point where we start to conform to this world and we begin to disconnect from God. That’s why we need to DISCIPLINE our lives to prevent this from happening. Then and only then can we really tap into what God’s will is for our lives.

  25. Do your part

    4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

    If I were to let Joseph drive the car to church tonight for prayer we probably won’t get out of the driveway before we are all in trouble. This is the same in the church. We all have to do our part and to the very best of our ability in the Holy Ghost. God has called us according to his purpose but he is not confused about his purpose. We are all called to be witnesses, we are all called to serve. If there is ever any doubt about where you fit in we have to fall back on the first initiative to witness and serve. We have to know our role in the kingdom. My purpose given by God is to witness and to serve.

  26. 15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

    When someone has a special reason to rejoice, we shouldn’t be jealous or envious, but thankful that our brother or sister has been blessed. Likewise, when they have reason to weep, we should show compassion and not leave them to weep alone.

    John 13:34-35 KJV
    34. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
    35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

  27. ” I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1
    ” Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” 1Corinithians 3:16-17

    It is our reasonable act of worship to maintain our temples (bodies) pure. It is an act of obedience. We should present ourselves holy in the way we act, dress, and speak. We were made in the image of Christ and that is who we should reflect.

    “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing in prayer” Romans 12:12
    This is how we should act when we are waiting for our blessing. Its like that one song says “I’m waiting, I’m waiting on you Lord and I’m hopeful…I will worship while I’m waiting”.

  28. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

    10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
    Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
    for brethren to dwell together in unity. Psalm 133
    Yesterday, I rejoiced together with my family in Christ, receiving miracles together and giving God praise!
    I love all my family in Christ!!!

  29. 6 let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t. If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; 7 if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; 8 if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face. 9 Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. 10 Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle. 11 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, 12 cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. MSG
    Let’s all get together and do our part for the kingdom of God. Love one another with all your heart, when you help someone do it from the bottom of your heart not expecting payback. I’ve heard the saying keep a smile on your face makes people wonder what you are to. Then when ask that is our door to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to them and what he has done for us!

  30. Who Is More ?

    3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

    We need to always remember that we all have an important part of the kingdom. We can never assume that we are greater than even the newest person who enters the door of the church.

  31. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    Overcome evil; thoughts, intentions, words, deeds, lifes styles, ways, passions, etc with good. Just think good, speak good, work good, live good, desire good, give good and you too can live as a overcomer.

  32. vss. 17-18 Recmpense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
    If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peacably with all men.

    We demonstrate our love to GOD when we love our enemies , serve , obey and live s holy life.
    Our GOD IS HOLY.
    HE dwells in our hearts and makes us HIS temple.
    HIS SPIRIT overflows in us and allows the world to see that we have with JESUS.
    OH HOW I LOVE MY HOLY GHOST !!!

    MORE HOLY GHOST
    MORE HOLINESS
    MORE LOVE
    MORE WITNESSES for the world to seee
    ,

  33. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is …….serving let him serve. Romans 12 : 6 -7

    The spiritual gifts listed here are seven in number : 1. Prophecy , 2.Ministry , 3. Teaching , 4.Exhorting, 5. Giving, 6. Ruling, 7. Mercy.

    Do all MORE!!

  34. “Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.” The word of God (Jesus) states all were made in his image (Genesis 1:27), which is all the more why one should be kind to all, and strive to be MORE like Jesus. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

    More:
    3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

  35. This whole chapter is like a mini verison of Proverbs in the New Testament! So many great reminders!
    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
    9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
    10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
    11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
    14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

  36. 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

    We have sacrificed this week. It is a reasonable service to serve our God. He is awesome. He is the altogether lovely. He is my rock. He is my provider.

  37. Oh how well 2 Peter chapter 2 really goes along with the first two vs. of Romans and 16-21
    1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
    2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    2 Peter 2 King James Version (KJV)
    1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

    2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

    3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

    4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

    5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

    6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

    7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

    8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

    9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

    10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

    11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

    12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

    13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

    14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

    15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

    16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

    17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

    18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

    19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

    20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

    21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

    22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

    Thank you Jesus for your word. Bless those who are lost to this world. Bring back all who are lost. Thank you Jesus, in Jesus name.

  38. Romans 12:2 This scripture is telling us that we should be different than the unbelievers. Most of us as Christians recognize this, but we seem at a loss as to how to accomplish it. This verse goes on to give us the answer. The key is our minds. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Pr 23:7).

    Making our thinking line up with God’s Word will affect this complete transformation in our lives.
    Lord I want less of me and more of you…MORE2015

  39. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the LORD. Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭19-21‬ NLT)

    It is sad to say but God keeps His word and I have seen this come to pass multiple times. It’s never nice to see those who have done wrong to be in pain but it is nice to not have your hands dirty over something you should have left with the lord. Let God be the one to get His hands dirty..

  40. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
    Bless your enemies and treat them with kindness. God is in control

    Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me. KJV

    We are overcomers, God is our avenger, he has our back.

  41. Verses 4-6 MSG “In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of his body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we? So since we find ourselves fashioned into all these excellently formed and marvelously functioning parts in Christ’s body, let’s just go ahead and be what we were made to be, without enviously or pridefully comparing ourselves with each other, or trying to be something we aren’t.” I pray that you bind us together in unity as we work together to enlarge your kingdom Lord. “If we all work together the happier we’ll be” as the old children’s song says.

  42. It doesn’t matter what the world has to say about us. It’s what God says about us that matters!

    What have you done today that would make God look done upon us with joy?

  43. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

    Must be kind to those who are mean to you.
    Remember they are Gods’s child also!

  44. Don’t let that one person burn out your flame!!!
    11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
    17-19 Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”
    I won’t let one person burn my fire! God is my provider and protected and he will help me thought any situation! So I will go on being a servant of God and have a burning fire for him! 🙂 ❤

  45. he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

    21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

    Now how would you feel if instead of avenging your enemy you won them for God? I know that this might be something among the most complex things to do. We are called to love what God loves and hate the appearance of evil. And yes people can do may evil things. The truth is that people will fail you and let you down maybe use and abuse you. We are taught here that revenge is of the Lord, but what do we do then. Continue to be good and show love and mercy. We can overcome evil with good. Our prayer about a situation or someone will not go unheard. So we shall continue to pray and show kindness. Who knows if at one point or another we may be in need of forgiveness and mercy. We should remember that we reap what we sow..

  46. Romans 2:12 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (NIV)

    We are made to stand out and be separated from this world! We shouldn’t desire to be like everyone else, look like everyone else. We should desire to please God!

  47. A Living Sacrifice !!!! 1. I Beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. I Am Victorious !!!! Jesus You Are Holy !!!!! Thank You Jesus for Mercy and Grace !!!!
