1 Corinthians 10

1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

  1. Who do you serve? God or Satan, can’t serve both. Don’t worship any idols, worship GOD. Praise and worship our God.

  2. 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

The things of the old testament church are most certainly examples unto us. We should take these things to heart and learn about our God and what he expects from us.
Never think that we are above falling, we must submit our lives unto God and let him move in our lives. When we think we are above falling, we deceive ourselves. We need to humble ourselves in the sight of God and let God lift us up. If we lift ourselves up God will bring us down.
Take heed to the Word of God that we do not fall!!!

  3. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

We must watch for our souls and seek our own salvation with diligence because how sorrowful will it be to walk with Jesus and then have him displeased with us.

  4. Verses 11-12 MSG “These are all warning markers—danger!—in our history books, written down so that we don’t repeat their mistakes. Our positions in the story are parallel—they at the beginning, we at the end—and we are just as capable of messing it up as they were. Don’t be so naive and self-confident. You’re not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it’s useless. Cultivate God-confidence.” We must heed these warnings and cultivate God-confidence. We have to stop making excuses, letting fear in or even feeling sorry for ourselves at times for verse 13 MSG says “No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.” We must take hold and stand firm as part of verses 15-18 MSG says “…….Rather, we become unified in him. We don’t reduce Christ to what we are; he raises us to what he is……..” Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace.

  5. WARNING!!!!

These things happened as a warning to us, so that we would not crave evil things as they did,

These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭6, 11‬ NLT)

Many times you have heard… “Learn from others mistakes instead” it is said for a reason. We tell you this to prevent chaos, destruction, and even death in your own lives. But some of us have been so stubborn that we don’t really care what is being preached or even taught. Yes, I understand you’re “grown” you’re “old enough” to make your own choices in life. But it’s when we fall into our own selfish desires is when you may not see the destruction coming towards you as others see, is when we make the stupidest decisions for ourselves, and it’s leading you further away from the truth. The scriptures say this:

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭10-12‬ KJV)
We may wanto live according to our desires, but The Lord will always have the last word in everything that we do.

Let us learn from other people’s mistakes, let us not be prideful. As brother Boyd spoke on Wednesday night, ” who’s voice are you listening to?”

  6. THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

The greatest insight or revelation that we are blessed to understand is that our Kingdom walk is an ETERNAL walk, a journey that is prophetically directed by the WORD of GOD and divinely directed by the SPIRIT of GOD. Certain seasons of life are more challenging than others. However the most challenging season on the journey of life is THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY, when we have no idea where we are and no idea where we are headed.

The Apostle Paul shares with us many warnings along the journey here in chapter 10.

The wilderness is where good people are made great or they are overthrown. Every great person in the Kingdom of GOD has survived THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY at least once in their eternal walk with GOD. Lust, idolatry, fornication, contempt, murmurers, all of these obstacles are in THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY where GOD proves our love for and to him.

    MSG
11-12 These are all warning markers—danger!—in our history books, written down so that we don’t repeat their mistakes. Our positions in the story are parallel—they at the beginning, we at the end—and we are just as capable of messing it up as they were. Don’t be so naive and self-confident. You’re not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it’s useless. Cultivate God-confidence.
13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.

Increase your tenacious FAITH in GOD today and don’t just survive THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY, you can thrive in THE WILDERNESS JOURNEY.

  7. iLove to eat More Word

    More Profit
33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

Paul was very conscious about offending other people. He always ate with the Jews and followed their dietary laws, and when he was with the Gentiles didn’t worry about the dietary laws. This is exactly the opposite of the spirit of pride. This was a very special act of humility. Even Paul’s name, was an act of humility. His real name was Saul, and that was a name of pride. More than likely, Paul was named after the first king of Israel. (If you remember, the first king of Israel was from the tribe of Benjamin and his name was Saul). As soon as he was converted, he immediately changed his name from Saul to Paul. Paul, in the Greek means small or little, humble.

If we truly want more profit, we have to learn more humility. We learn more humility by following the teachings of Paul.

    James 4:10 GOD’S WORD® Translation
Humble yourselves in the Lord’s presence. Then he will give you a high position.

  8. NLT 23 You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is beneficial. 24 Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.

The freedom of choosing. Yes, we can do what ever you want, but how is your decision going to affect others. Make a decision that will benefit other, and not only yourself. What is the loving decision to make towards your family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.

  9. 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

It is possible for two people to hear the same Word, receive the same instructions, but one submits to the divine will of God in their lives, and the other is just a hearer of the Word and not a doer, but feels like they have a better plan.

We find this evident in these verse, those in the wilderness all heard the same, but God was not please with some. It all boils down to the attitude of the heart.

Lord help my attitude to be right, my heart to be pure and clean, and my motive to be THY KINGDOM COME!

  10. Choose One Cup

1 Corinthians 10:21 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
21 You are not able to be drinking the Lord’s cup and the demons’ cup. You are not able to be partaking together at the Lord’s table and the demons’ table.

We understand that communion is a time of fellowship with the Lord.

Bro. Tenney said when we take of his body and drink of his blood it is a co-union. Not only are we partaking of him, but he begins to partake of us.

He receives our flesh, our body, the living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto him. He receives of our blood, our life.

However we cannot drink from the cup of demons and the cup of our savior. We literally commit spiritual adultery!

How? When we present our bodies a living sacrifice to the enemy: habits, hobbies, dress, culture, entertainment, etc. When we give our life to the enemy: our will, our way, our kingdom, what we want, control, our word not God’s.

It is impossible to please God with white sheets draped over dark motives. We can look the part on the outside, but if inwardly we are worldly, carnal, and full of iniquity we do ourselves and others a great harm.

If the body is his word, and the blood is his life or spirit then we need to be careful to not digest the word and spirit of this world lest we drink from the cup of demons.

If we try and have communion with God, and the devil we nullify our communion with God and become in unity in plan, and purpose with the adversary.

We can only choose one cup.

  11. Considered yourselves warned.

Many people like to play in the gray area of life. The only thing is that God is a black and white God. You are either cold or hot. You can vacillate with His law. You can not be for Christ one day and play with the devil tomorrow. Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Matt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
We are being warned by the apostle not to forget where God has brought us out of. Do not commit the same sins that our ancestors did for the results will be the same DEATH.

  12. 11 These things happened to them as examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age.
12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.
13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. (NLT)

We must learn from not only what we read in these scriptures, but learn from our elders and those in authority over us. The words they speak are very wise and we would be foolish to not take their advice and heed their warnings. No one of us is better than the next, that’s why we must be strong and encourage one another. But never be so haughty rather be confident in our God (yes there’s a very fine line between the two and we shouldn’t flirt with it). We must trusts our God that He will never give us more than we can bear, if you ever feel like it’s too much know that God believes in you! He’s got you already taken care of, He knows your going through and coming out!

  13. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. (‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ NKJV)

There will be no temptation you “couldnt pass up” I known now there will always be a way out of falling in to sin and giving into temptation. God will always give a way it’s up to us to find it.

Plus sin is over rated cause at first you think you like it then you grow to hate it!

  14. 13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.
17-18 Rather, we become unified in him. We don’t reduce Christ to what we are; he raises us to what he is. That’s basically what happened even in old Israel—those who ate the sacrifices offered on God’s altar entered into God’s action at the altar. (MSG)
Thank you Jesus I know when I grow stronger for you there will be big mountains I have to go through. But I know God you won’t put anything that I can’t handle! You will be there with me ever step I have to break through this temptation/ problem! And thank you Jesus for not letting me stop at where I think i know you best but you raise me up higher to know you even more than before!
    Your Great God!!! 🙂 ❤

  15. 14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Idolartry to me is not just worshiping idols but it’s what you put before God! What hinders you from reading His Word, praying, fasting, praising, worshipping Him,etc. What things are more important to you than pleasing God?? What do you put first before God? I have been readin this book called Gods at War and it just decribes all the different things that the flesh battles with that makes us want to satisfy our flesh more than God we get so focused on those things that we forget who we should really be worshipping. For example, do u put entertainment, success, job, food, fame, yourself, etc before God?!?!? That book made me think of all the things that I needed to remove from my life because it was a distraction in being able to do MORE for the kingdom of God! God doesn’t want to be at war with the desires of the flesh but wants you to seek Him at all times, worship Him in the good and the bad, be sensitive to His spirit, and Him be our #1 priority!!!! Thank you Jesus for your mercy!
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ( Matt 6:33)

  16. 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

We never go through anything that someone else has not already previously went through. We need to take lessons from the word of God! But we also need to listen to our elders and the leadership of the church. For it is from them and the word of God we will be able to conquer anything that comes our way!!

  17. I won’t fall; it is not in me.

12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:12-13 NASBStr)

There is nothing within us that keeps us from falling. God is the source of our salvation. There is nothing we can do to get it. He initiates it, and he alone sustains it through our obedience to his Spirit. (Yes, our choice to be sustained must be made; we are not independent in this process and neither is God. It is a mutual work.) It is God’s call and work.

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,…(2 Timothy 1:9 NASBStr)

Before Lucifer fell he said, “I will” five times as recorded in Isaiah 14:13-14. We must be careful with our statements that have “I” or ‘Me” in them. Pride is often the subconscious root of such behavior.

Every time I hear someone or myself talk about the strengths of our personality, the strengths of our spiritual gifting, or anything else that involves me or that individual in it; I cringe.

The apostles understood this when they said who can be saved. See the text below.

25 When the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?” 26 And looking at them Jesus said to them, “ With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:25-26 NASBStr) also recorded in Mark 10:26-27.

I have experienced first hand the crucible of pride and have failed more than passes. I have learned the fruit of Proverbs 21:23 as quoted from the NLT “Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble.”

Pride exalts oneself. It is anti-christ. It violates the nature of God. Only God can be exalted. Vincent Vine’s gives a good understanding of the OT negative connotations of pride:

“The majority of the uses of ga‘on are negative in that they connote human “pride” as an antonym for humility (Prov. 16:18). Proverbs puts ga‘on together with arrogance, evil behavior, and perverse speech. In her independence from the Lord, Israel as a majestic nation, having been set apart by a majestic God, had turned aside and claimed its excellence as a prerogative earned by herself. The new attitude of insolence was not tolerated by God:“The Lord God hath sworn by himself, saith the Lord the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces:therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein” (Amos 6:8)”

“Claimed its excellence as a prerogative earned by herself” is no different than when we talk about our natural personality tendencies keeping us away from falling.

“It just is not in me,” is an arrogant, proud statement that one must be aware of. Take heed when you think you stand lest you fall!! I have made ignorant, proud statements to this like before, especially in regards to chemical dependance. I had stated it just is not in me to be addicted to drugs, alcohol, or anything of that nature. While it may be true that we are predisposed to certain sins based on our genetic makeup and personality, there is a much greater truth that we are all born into sin and no sin is uncommon to man.

Jesus, God on earth, was tempted.

15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 NASBStr)

Think of every sin that you can think of……Jesus was tempted by it. Sin was not in his genetic makeup. (Gen 3:15; Matt 1:18)

May we be revived with a revelation that God is the source of all substance and sustainment and live in true humility as was seen in the life of Jesus Christ.

  18. 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

I remember the time I received revelation of Christ being the rock that Moses struck for water for the children of Israel-in a preached message when I was still young in the Lord. It shook me that while the people felt they were so deep in the wilderness, they had God so near. Then when you think of your darkest trial, this revelation helps us to realize that no what-God is very near. So, I can’t help but wonder, how do we respond to God in our trials? Do we strike out at him? Blame him for us being in this hard place? Or do we realize that he directs our paths, leads us not into temptation? Verse 9-11 show that we must not murmur and complain, or we too will receive judgement. Lord, help me to understand that you have ordered my steps going into and out of the trials of life! Help me pass the test in each trial so that I do not have to face them again, and most of all, to not complain!

  19. 1corinthians 10:12 so if you think you are standing firm be careful that you don’t fall. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are/tempted he will also provide a way so that you can endure it.

  20. 13. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

    God Is Faithful!
When we are tempted, it is to make us stronger and more able to resist; therefore we will not be tempted greater than we are able to resist. God know what we are capable of, and wants to show us His strength, and that we can call on Him when we need Him. Our strength is so small, but His is right there for us, if we will but take advantage of it.

  21. 31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Everything we do should be done to the glory of God. It is he that has made us. We must remember that without God we are nothing and that through him we have power over the enemy.

  22. 32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
Have unity in the church and your home.. don’t be the one that is a stumbling block for someone.

  23. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

We cannot serve two masters. We can only serve one. Our God is a jealous God. As the song says He’s the one true living God.

  24. Time thiefs

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

There are things that by themselves are not sinful but combined with misplaced priorities can take you from the will of God therefore becoming sin. Example: Playing a game of golf with my friends is not on its own a sin, but If I let it pull me away from church then I have backslid and out of the will of God. We have to be careful of how we are Spending the time that God has given us. I believe that if we spend it wisely he will reward is with More this year.

  25. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

We need to reevaluate our lives we need to seek God and make sure we are right with God and one another. God know the heart when trials comes our way some times we give the credit to the devil thinking that hes the reason we are going thru what were going thru. I believe that God test us thru these trials to see if we believe in ourselves and show the enemy that we are going all the way with God no matter what comes our way. God also knows how much we can take, we are stronger than we think. We are overcomers

  26. Stand

12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

    Matthew 7:24-27
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The only way to stand is upon Christ, and the way we stand is through the power of His Spirit strengthening us as we pursue holiness. The process of holiness is ongoing throughout our entire lives; we cannot view ourselves as having “arrived” this side of heaven. As we stand upon Christ, we must know that our footing is being constantly shifted and our flesh would prefer the feel of the soft cushion of sand rather than the hardness of rock. Each day is a part of the process of drawing nearer to Him if we choose to take His invitation to deny ourselves and stand upon His foundation. We stand in Him not because we are perfect but because we are being perfected by Him.

  27. 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

We cannot serve to masters. Half committed is not committed. We cannot try and be in the world and still be church. Fully commuted means fully obedient.

  28. No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ESV)

I’m thankful that He provides the way of escape.

  29. 24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

What this scripture tells me is that my God is trying to tell his children that we shouldnt think about what we want we should think about others and how we could help them with there problems and goods because it’s not about us it’s about helping in hand of each other but more importantly we need to seek and help for others and there goods!! In Jesus Name !! Amen !!

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through christ who gives me strength !!!

  30. “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” Paul gave examples and warning. One that thinks they are better or above has already been deceived. This is all the more why one (I) need(s) prayer, the word of God (Jesus), and guidance from the man of God. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  31. You cannot drink from the cup of the Lord and from the cup of demons, too. You cannot eat at the Lord’s Table and at the table of demons, too. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭21‬ NLT)

You can’t live in both worlds! You either choose to live a life with Christ or you choose to deny Him. There is no sugar coating it, there is no one foot on each side. God wants your whole heart not just half.

  32. More expedient

23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

We should always be doing things that draw people to Christ. We should be making it easy for others to get the Holy Ghost, not causing them to take longer. That means that we have to be super careful about what we do do that we dont confuse others. We should always be pure in our motives and holy in our actions.

  33. 13. No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

If you have ever played a game with a child, majority of the time you allow them to win. You have to, if they continue to lose over and over they will become discouraged and won’t want to play anymore. I’m thankful for a God that is allowing me to win! Giving me the tools I need to succeed!

  34. 7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

  35. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

    Oneness verse:
    Numbers 21:5-7
5 they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!”

6 Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. 7 The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

The writers of this text knew who God was, Jesus Christ. There fore sinning Againsy God or the Lord or Jesus, is all speaking of the same.

Jesus the same, yesturday, today, and forever more.

  36. Jealousy !!!! 20. But I say, that the things which the Gen’-tiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Lev. 17 : 7; Ps. 106 : 37 21. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. Deut. 32 : 38 22. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!!
