2 Corinthians 9

1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

4 Lest haply if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

  1. GIVE ALL

6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

I found out the hard way that it is hard to give when you have no job, but I also noticed that it is easier. Let me explain, I have not been able to work for 1 and 1/2 years soon to be 2 but I told my Lord that I will give Gim everything I get my hands on, so I put my hands to work. What I see, what I find in Laundry duty, and even the change I find while U walk around. Since I began that God has bless me greater even in the money I find for I have found more Nicole’s and dimes than pennies!!! Also give your talent, your time, your sacrifice of fast and prayer!!! Just make sure you GIVE IT ALL WITH JOY!!!!!!

  2. v6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

The LORD will exceed our giving, and meet our needs abundantly. When we give to HIS cause.
    We cannot out give GOD!!!

    MORE SOWING
    MORE REAPING
    MORE HARVEST

  3. 10. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

God supplies both our physical needs and our spiritual needs.

    Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. KJV

  4. God gives more than we could ever think or imagine. Every time we give something, God has already out given us. Thank you Jesus for the blessings in our lives, especially the blessing of salvation!

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭15‬ KJV)

  5. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

    More Ministering

When we give purposefully to those in need we are not only meeting a need but we are also storing up for ourselves. We are not to give just so we can reap because when we give out of a selfish heart we’ve already reaped God’s mercy for not destroying us because we gAve in the wrong manner. This limits God. Yet when we give cheerfully we take the limits off and our giving becomes more than a obligation or a means to just reap but it becomes an act of ministry. We minister to the person that had the need, God, and ourselves.

  6. MORE FAVOR

Our attitude and willingness to sow seed or give money dictates and determines the manner and fashion of which we experience return to our willingness to sow resources into the Kingdom of GOD.

Attitude – “Cheerful” – 2431. hilaros, hil-ar-os´; propitious or merry (“hilarious”), i.e. prompt or willing: — cheerful.

Favor – “Grace” – 5485. charis, khar´-ece; graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude): — acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, grace(- ious), joy, liberality, pleasure, thank(-s, -worthy).

The MORE we are willing to give the MORE our God is willing to release his GRACE or FAVOR on us.

    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  7. 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

The key to being enriched in everything is to be a cheerful giver with attitude, action, finances, time and talents to the Kingdom of God. He will then cause men to give unto us, press down, shaken together, running over.

  8. Could it be….

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭7‬ NLT)

Though many give, but depending in how they give….. They receive not!!! They see how others are being blessed, and don’t understand why they are not.

  9. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Cor 9:6 ESV

That is pretty much it. A solid principle that can be applied across the board in life. Whatever you give yourself to will yield positive correlated results.

I.e. More study = better grades; more giving = more return; more prayer = more relationship.

Give us a heart for more.

  10. 2 Corinthians 9:6 remember this whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give way you have decided in your heart to give not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all that you need you will abound in every good work.

  11. 10 He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.
If we are willing to give to the Lord, He will supply the means to do so. It is our job to be ready and willing to bless others in Jesus’s name. The more we are willing to give, the more He will provide us with (9:6).

  12. iLove to eat MORE Word

    Sow More Reap More
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

This principle in the Word of God is tried and true. The other denominations of the world put this principle to work within their systems and are extremely blessed. When is the church of the Living God going to put the Word of God to the test and receive the blessings of the Lord.

  13. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

God gives us grace and favor not only for ourselves but so that also we may use to helps others, that God blesses the work of our hands as we help to show our light to other people who need to see light through the darkness.

Hebrews 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ to whom be glory for ever and ever, Amen

  14. 6 But remember this—if you give little, you will get little. A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much. 7 Everyone must make up his own mind as to how much he should give. Don’t force anyone to give more than he really wants to, for cheerful givers are the ones God prizes. 8 God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will not only be enough for your own needs but plenty left over to give joyfully to others. 9 It is as the Scriptures say: “The godly man gives generously to the poor. His good deeds will be an honor to him forever.”

10 For God, who gives seed to the farmer to plant, and later on good crops to harvest and eat, will give you more and more seed to plant and will make it grow so that you can give away more and more fruit from your harvest.

More giving, more blessings to receive, whether you give time, treasure, or talent! Then when you have blessed someone, it is an honor to you forever; not to mention the bountiful harvest coming! This sowing & reaping is also for souls, & the seed is the word of God. Sow the word in the lives around you, and then God has something to use when he brings the rain to water the seed, and the sun to cause the seed to spring to life! The harvest will truly be plentiful when we sow in both of these ways.

  15. “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” One that gives shall receive, as such one is wise to give of; time, talent, and treasure. All will experience seasons in life, which is all the more why one should strive to give, and also why one should be so thankful by another’s prayer; “And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.” What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  16. More Harvest

    2 Corinthians 9:6 NLT
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.

The more we sow, the more we reap. In the season of More, we look to have More Harvest, and that comes through More Sowing. We sow in time, talent, and treasure in His Kingdom, and as we give our all to Him, we release His blessing to flow into our lives as He desires, both to bless us and cause us to be a blessing to others.

    Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  17. 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously that blessings may come to someone will also reap generously and with blessings.

More giving. It can be pretty simple but we tend to complicate it more than what it is. The reason, honestly, we just simply don’t trust God will provide for our resources. We want a bigger a bigger harvest we must sow more. We will not outlive God. The thing to catch is that everything is His. Including our life.

  18. 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

The more you give, the more you get. God knows how to bless those who have a willing heart to give.

  19. 15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift!

What this scripture tells me is that,I thank my God for everything that he has done in my life and my family’s lives. That he awesome and mighty God to serve and that I know that I go through situations that my God can heal and provide for me, there’s going to be difficult situations for me but I’ll never give up on myself I’ll strive forward by calling upon my God to provide help for me. In Jesus Name!!!

  20. 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

When we give of a cheerful heart. Our good works will be that much more effective. My father taught me at a young age to give. And I thank God for that upbringing. There have been many blessings in my life. Thank God for his word that it does not lie.

  21. 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
we have heard it said time after time again. “You can’t outgive God” and that’s true. You can choose to be a giver and let God bless you even more or you can be stingy and watch your money shrink. The choice is yours.. we choose to be givers!

  22. For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬ NLT)

Do not worry not fret, God will provide everything you need. Be true to Him and He will be true to you. Glory!

  23. 15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

What I learned from this scripture is that we all have are own battles that we fight alone but we never fight them alone because God is always there for us to pick us up. There’s going to be times when we go through some hard situation in life but that’s what makes us strong when we figure them out with the help of are God.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  24. Verses 6-8 NIV “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” We can increase in ALL things!

2 Thessalonians 1:3 NLT says “We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.

  25. 6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

How much are you planting? A few here and there or generously every where you go?

I desire to be a cheerful generous giver!

  26. Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6-11‬ NLT)

Don’t hold out on a blessing you can get from God. Have faith in what God tells you to give, let yourself be sensitive to His voice. But with this chapter you can take it as just for offering or you can expand it and make it seem more wonderful. Such as giving MORE in your ministry, giving MORE time with God, doing MORE for God in multiple ways (outreach, reading, praying…etc.) So you decided how much you want to expand this chapter in your life.

  27. Grace abound!!!! 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Prov.11 : 24 9. ( As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Ps.112 : 9 I AM VICTORIOUS !!!! I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!!
