2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12 Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all.
13 Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14 And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

The life of a preacher, Paul preaching and teaching to these people and they so love him that they would do anything for him, until he crosses them. These same people willing to do anything for him now want to destroy him because he tells them the truth.

17 Those false teachers are so eager to win your favor, but their intentions are not good. They are trying to shut you off from me so that you will pay attention only to them.
The Pentecostals of Fort Worth is one of the best unintentional staffing agencies in Fort Worth. I am amazed at the amount of opportunities that pop up out of nowhere when people first start coming to this church.
Jobs are offered, former churches call and try and reconcile, people are offered more money, and many other positions become available at other places. Even old friends sometimes pop back into the picture.
Unfortunately this is a trick, and trap of the enemy. There is such power, destiny, and future at POFW that the enemy wants to do everything he can to distract others from continuing to come. He knows the army rising up is too much for him to handle.
However I believe that people who attended POFW never forget, and the taste alone will drive them back.

What is the purpose of being rescued from a fire and then running right back in? Of course anyone in their right mind would not do such a thing. When we are filled with the Holy Ghost, God brings out of the chains of sin. Too many times people like to return back to the bondage God freed them from. The thing about sin is it’s deceptive. It may seem like a harmless thing you do, as a matter of fact you probably don’t see anything wrong with it. This is a tactic of the enemy, to deceive you in as many ways as he can. God did not bring us out of darkness so we can return. He brought us out so that we might have a chance at eternal life and help show someone else the truth.
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Are we afraid of the truth? Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes we are justified by the truth. I have learned that I would rather hear the truth, even if it hurts, than to hear something that would make me feel better about myself or ease the pain of a particular situation.
Is there a difference between truth and honesty? The dictionary defines truth as the true or actual state of a matter, while defining honesty as being honorable in principles, intentions and actions. One can be truthful in what they say, but not honest in their intent. Honesty means you say what you sincerely believe to be true. One can honestly state something that is untrue, truth is about objective fact. Something is either true or not. Truth can be stated in a dishonest manner, like if you yourself believe it to be true. A persona can be honestly wrong, believing something that is not the truth.

The law and the promise
The child of the bondwoman was born first. Our flesh.
Psalms 51:5
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;
and in sin did my mother conceive me.
The child of the free came next. Our promise. But the child of the free woman did not come naturally. The promise had to come from faith, endurance, and overcoming doubt. Once the promise arrived it came under opposition from the natural child. Our flesh will oppose the spirit. Cast out the bondwoman and her son, overcome the flesh so the promise can grow and take its destined place in our lives.
MORE TRUTH
16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
The old phrase “the TRUTH hurts” most likely derived from this verse of scripture. There are some painful illustrations of the revealing of TRUTH in the WORD of GOD.
Imagine the pain of the prophet Nathan revealing to David that he was the thief in the parable he had just shared following the moral sin of David and the pending judgement of that sin. Imagine the pain of Israel that was felt when the apostle Peter revealed to them that the man they murdered for professing he was GOD, really was GOD. Other painful revelations of TRUTH are revealed in the WORD of GOD.
The pain of Samuel rejecting the cries of the fallen King Saul, because Saul had rejected the word and instruction of the LORD.

This is still true today for the Nation of Israel still in battle with the nation of the bondwoman. It is also like that in our hearts. We can not serve 2 masters for we will love one and hate the other.

I have always wondered as a Christian, how can people turn away from God wants they have known him? There is nothing to go back to.
This make me think of the scriptures found in St. John 6:66-68. “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”
MORE of JESUS! He has the Words of Eternal Life!!
Sis Gulley your posted reminded me of the song: there’s nothing out there for a soul that knows God no peace nor pleasure can ever be found, there’s nothing but troubles and disappointment there’s nothing out there for a soul that’s once known GOD……
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
When Zion travails souls are birthed into the kingdom . If a mother in labor were to stop pushing and give up trying then it would put the baby in grave danger. The pain of giving birth is a foreshadowing what we should feel in intercession. When we take on the burden of someone’s soul and stand in the gap of their salvation it opened doorways for us to be grieved by all that person goes through. If we were to just stop travailing for the lost then we could be putting them in large amounts of danger. The process of their birth could take much longer than necessary and we could risk their lives spiritually and even naturally depending on circumstances. We should not stop pushing, not stop travailing not stop interfering and crying out for these people until we have seen Christ formed in them. Without someone who is mature and responsible a newborn baby will not survive. I don’t want that blood on my hands just because I didn’t try. Help me Lord to travail everyday for those who are weak in the spirit and cannot survive on th or own.

The times have shown, especially lately, that what Paul is saying here is so very true today. All these murderous ISIS idiots and there followers are playing out what we know to be the same jealous seed of the bondwoman that was cast out. What a bunch of cowards! We, although persecuted, are not to be afraid. We are to stand and be bold and proclaim the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The truth is Mohammad is not coming back for anyone but Jesus Christ is coming back for his church and everyone else will be in hell. The ones that have been martyrs for the gospel are in the true promised paradise. The ones that sent them there will be rudely awakened by the truth of their actions as soon as their eyes close to death. You cannot threaten us with our reward, and the reward they seek will be their hell. The word of God will prevail!

Galatians 4:6 “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.”
Whenever we are born again, we receive the Spirit of Christ and the Word here implies that we cry out Abba Father. Just as a newborn baby cries out when it is born, so does a newborn believer. This Word cry in the greek is quite interesting.

A primary verb; properly to croak (as a raven) or scream, that is, (generally) to call aloud (shriek, exclaim, intreat): – cry (out).
This is yet more proof that something supernatural happens when someone receives the Spirit of the Lord…You are gonna hear the sound there of.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
I am thankful to be free and released from sin and bondage. That freedom gives us the opportunity to serve God and live in liberty . While we are free from sin the holy ghost constrains us and as a result we live holy and separated lives unto God.
truth last forever and is one fold, lies are two fold because they come back to us and the truth comes out and we have to revisit our wrongdoing of lying

From Ishmael and Issac until now there has always been struggle between flesh and spirit, and will continue to be until the coming of the Lord.
However, as Spirit filled children of God, we must win the war within ourselves. We know that carnality (flesh) is enmity against God. We know to walk in the Spirit we must live in the realm of the Spirit (the Word, prayer, fasting, revelation, understanding etc). To be carnally minded is death, to be spiritually minded is life. It’s our choice.

God sent his son to set us free from the Law and we could become God’s children. God has sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts. And his Spirit tells us that god is our Father and you will be given what he has promised. We are not slaves we are Free.

The reality is that when we hear the truth it hurts us and cuts us because in us, is something called pride and we all have it. Pride will always fight with truth and it could hinder us from being set free and growing in our spiritual lives if we let it. The Word of God is truth and yes it will cut us and point out our flaws, but it will also edify,comfort, teach, and set us free. ( Heb. 4:12 For the Word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-week sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerned of the thoughts and intents of the heart.) MORE WORD! MORE TRUTH!
9 So now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world? (NLT)
There’s no place I’d rather be than walking in the Will of God.
So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children of the free woman. (Galatians 4:31 NLT)
This parable represents us. We were once slaves of this world and the evil that was in it. Cause we thought it was fun and we didn’t know we were bond by the evil that dwells in this world. Heading twords death We were slaves.
But once we open our eyes to a man named Jesus our Hearts were set free we allowed him to pay the price. We put down the wickedness and hurts and pains and allowed him to embrace us to love us. So we are no longer get slaves to sin. But slaves of righteousness. He gives us new life. Glory to God.
1 As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
As we heard preached last night it is Time for us to get our act together and make sure our place is saved at the table. I don’t wanna get out of line and lose my place in line. God help us to stay in line and do what you have us to do.
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?NIV
Be careful who you are hanging around. You become the company you keep. We have to work with unbelievers on our jobs but we don’t have to become like them, we are suppose to be wanting people to change and come to Lord. If we are acting like them then they are wondering why do they need the church. Lord help us to let our lights shine for you wherever we are.
17Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. 18It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
In the begining Paul talks about how young heirs are subject to gaurdians and trustees, they “were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world” (vs2). It wasn’t until they became ready to recieve what our Father has stored up for us “adoption to sonship” (vs5). The logic and mathematics of the gaurdians and trustees of this world add up. Everything school teachers have ever taught us will show evident like 1+1=2 and H2O will always make water. There is a since of comfort in relying on the truths first learned in life. Miracles are mysteries that cannot be explained. Trusting Jesus who has blazed the trail for us can be terrifying. After a lifetime of being manipulated by the world, how do you trust again? Simple you let go. You learn all over again, you grow in spiritual knowledge. As you grow in the kingdom, you will become more powerful and zealous for God. It won’t be easy because the enemy will try to remind you of your past, but when he does, just remind him of his future.
When Moses and the Israelites came upon the Red Sea after fleeing Egypt, and God parted the water, they didn’t turn back because they didn’t know what was on the other side. They walked right on through it. It was evident that the waters parting was a miracle from God, and when they got to the other side the Egyptian armies tried to cross too, and could not because the water drown them. Those who are zealous to win you over for the enemy will drown too in judgment. The Egyptians (a type of this world) will try to isolate you like they enslaved the Israelites. When you break free don’t look back, Lot’s wife looked back and she turned into a pilar of salt. Miracles and judgments all come for the just hand of God.

Galatians 4:19-20
My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you— but I could wish to be present with you now and to change my tone, for I am perplexed about you.
Oh how I understand how you feel Paul. All my children in the Lord are backslid as far as I know. How it grieves my spirit. Some are still attending Pentecostal churches, which I am grateful for; however, they are bound by one sin or another. Some are bound into false doctrines, forsaking the light of the gospel for a pseudo-Christian doctrine that has birthed superficial service for Christ.
Here I find my self in travail again so that Christ might be formed in each of them. How Paul must have felt? We can’t forget about our babes in Christ. We must continue to pray for them so that Christ be formed In them. This is the transformation that Christians need. Intercede for the backsliders. God will heal them and bring them back to the truth.

People marvel that we come to church on Wednesday nights, and come for Saturday night prayer, yet think nothing of the hours they spend watching TV, enjoying hobbies, sports, hunting, fishing…serving self with the gods of this world. As for me, I choose to serve the Lord. If I am his son & heir of his kingdom, there’s no place I’d rather be, than in his presence! In his presence, I find everything I need.
Bondwoman, freewoman !!!! 22. For it is written, that A’-bra-ham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Si’-nai, which gendereth to bondage, which is A’-gar. Deut. 33 : 2 25. For this A’-gar is mount Si’-nai in A-ra’-bi-a, and answereth to Je-ru’-sa-lem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26. But Je-ru’-sa-lem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. Isa.2 : 2; Rev. 3 : 12 I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!! HALLELUJAH !!!! I AM VICTORIOUS !!!!
Galatians 4: 22-23

verse 23
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
WE as Christians CANNOT be living in sin by or flesh desires and in the Holy Spirit at the same time. WE have to choose between the two of them THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND!.
Verse 30
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
When we are bond by our flesh we are not able to move freely in God’s spirit, because we are captive of sin and cannot be HEIRS TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
In Christ, there is freedom from bondage. Believers are no longer slaves; they are free-not through their on merit but through God’s redeeming grace.

While this is speaking of the turmoil between Christianity and Muslims, there is a lot to be found here.
If we really stop and think about it, we ” walk by faith, and not by sight…” so therefore we cannot seek after the flesh if we want an inheritance with Jesus.

They say the truth will set you free, but some people don’t want to be free. Sometimes when they hear the truth about what they are doing in their life they choice not to believe it because it is easier to believe the lie. But you’re not hurting anyone except for yourself when you do this so be encouraged let the truth speak to you and set you free.

The heir of God.
Born of the Holy Ghost. My father is Jesus. My father died for me to have life.
As I was growing up. I would follow my dad anywhere. Just wanting to be with him. And he had a secret stash of oatmeal raisin cookies in his desk at his shop. He would tell me sometimes to close the door behind me and sit down. He would then pull out the cookies and have one with me. This was a high light that I have of my childhood.
Why did I share this story. Because we can see how the father took the time with the child and had special time with him. How much more does our Heavenly Father want to do this. Yet. We say. I’m too busy with things of life. By our actions do we push God away from us.? Have we shown the interest in knowing more of him and wanting to spend time with him for Him to say ,”shut the door behind you and spend time with me.” Our Heavenly Father wants nothing more than to have a relationship with his children. But it’s ok if we just come to him on the weekends to say hi for a few hours.
My prayer is that God would help us to see that we need a relationship with him. But we too must understand that need ourselves.

We are no longer slaves to sin, nor under the old law, but we have a much better covenant. We also have the Spirit of Adoption…………………………

Just like Pastor preached last night, we have been given a place at God’s table. He has called us one of His own. Are we willing to lose that spot “to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world?”
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Amen! Hallelujah!!! I am free to dance and shout and give all my praises and glory to God because He is the one that gave His life for me!!! The devil had me bound but now I stand on solid rock ground. The devil is under my feet and will not get close to my territory because all he does is lie,steal, kill, and destroy!!! Jesus is the only one that can satisfy me and fill me because without Him I am always going to feel a void that I will not get filled!!! I am free because of and only Jesus Christ!!!! I AM FREEEE!!! 🙂

The truth of his word will never fail. We need to align ourselves to the word of God!
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. -2 Corinthians 13:8

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Christ came to set up free. It is very senseless to return to bondage when you do not have to as long as you abide in Him, and He in you.

More children
We are constantly looking for more children in the kingdom. We want more lives born into the freedom of Christ. We have to fight for these children and war for them in the birthing process so they are not list at birth. Churches that are barren or desolate are too wide spread. JESUS wants MORE children and thAt is what we should strive for. More births. More children. More growth into mature saints.

There was much deception as the deceiver (lucifer/satan) was trying to divert them away from what Paul (a true man of God) had taught and was still teaching. The deceiver is still trying to divert ones attention away today, from the word of God (Jesus) and the true man of God, as to the reason of today’s battle; Isaac (born after the Spirit) and Ishmael (born after the flesh).
“31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.” Thankfully one has a promise of freedom, if one will obey. What this scripture tells me about is that some people think that jesus has become a enemy to us that’s not true are God gave up his life for us and Sheded his blood upon
us for that it’s are time to do something for are God because for what he has done for us we should give back more then anything he asks us.! For that jesus only tells his children nothin but the truth of his word that we will be healed and protected and provided by his Abonding love and grace that he has for us. In Jesus Name !!!

intercession- is it a task or a treasure? Intercession is a very moving and humbling opportunity to experience for a person. It’s a painful process to intercede for a person but when their soul is at risk it’s all worth while. God will use you if you’re willing to be used. Ask yourself, who have I interceded for lately?
19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Until Christ be formed in them.. We must continue to pour out in prayer for the new born babes. This reminded me of what bishop Foster taught. We need to take care of the babes in Christ until Christ is formed in them. They need our help and prayers. Call out their names, cover them with the blood of Jesus Christ, praying that God will strengthen and make them grow strong in the faith. Let’s not forget that we too were a babe in Christ once and how much care we needed.

I believe this is what brother Morgan has been telling us all a long, to not just befriend your OI buddy or take the out, travail for them, is intersection, in prayer before God. Hurt for them as of giving birth to a child, it’s means there’s going to be sacrifice and pain. Late nights and weakness of flesh, but at the end when a disciple is formed it will be all worth it.

Father!” Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance.” Yes Lord I am an heir, for I know who my Father is.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Thank God for the Freedom he has allowed us to have!
Galatians 4: 2 the heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also when we were underage we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time has dully come God sent his son born of a woman born under the law to redeem whose under the law that we might receive adoption to son ship . because you are his sons.god sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts the Spirit who calls out Abba Father. So you no longer a slave but God s child and since you are his child God has made you also his heir.
vss.4-5 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING . HE had a foreknowlege of the sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST.
HIS precious Blood is the atoneing agent to fully purge and set us free sin.
More Freedom
They have to obey their guardians until they reach whatever age their father set. And that’s the way it was with us before Christ came. We were like children; we were slaves to the basic spiritual principles of this world. But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. (Galatians 4:2-7 NLT)
We are Gods children! Those words should bring joy to your heart, we are Gods children and we are no slaves when He’s our father!
So now that you know God (or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?
Those false teachers are so eager to win your favor, but their intentions are not good. They are trying to shut you off from me so that you will pay attention only to them. (Galatians 4:9, 17 NLT)
Don’t leave God! Stay with Him don’t face the pain and other horrid things of this world without his protection. Many people will push you away from God and try to tell you it’s not right just like a man with candy for a child. The man is saying I have something better, BUT ITS ALL LIES! Don’t listen to the enemy! You already have joy and peace with God don’t go down the road of sorrow, pain and guilt to just bruise you up. Stay with your father the one who free’s you!!!!!
