Philippians 2

1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

18 For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.

22 But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

23 Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

24 But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.

27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28 I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

  1. 27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

    Dont persecute the bretheren…

This is a good scripture to teach us that sometimes when we have ought with someone in the faith that God has mercy on them just like He has mercy on me.
I thankyou Lord, for your Word today.
I will go out today and remember the scripture-I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on….God.

  2. 2. complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.

    3. Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.

    4. Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. NET

You’re my brother, you’re my sister
So take me by the hand
    Together we will work
    Until He comes
There’s no foe that can defeat us
When we’re walking side by side
As long as there is love
    We will stand

  3. 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

As Christians we must love one another and be in unity thinking about the Lord and what he wants from us being his servant. No one is greater than another in god’s eyes so we should not think more highly of each other and especially ourselves than we should.

  4. 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

We need to live life without rebuke, blameless and harmless in this generation. There is a call in our lives to live for God in our time and let our light shine. There is a difference in shining the light we have and trying to force the light to work. Just as a flash light with dead batteries want work if the power is gone out in our lives the light that god has given us will not shine. The way we live our life will determine if we are letting our light shine in a crooked and perverse generation. Letting the Word of God lead us everyday!!

  5. Self…. Move over!

Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭3-4‬ KJV)

What an example of putting the needs of others above your own. Living life is not about building your “kingdom,” But about building the Kingdom of GOD by serving, ministry, giving, and loving. By doing this, great revival, healing, and growth, not only in numbers, but spiritual growth continues at POFW!
Let us put our needs to aside, and we shall see The Lord take care of His own, us His children.

  6. Verses 1-4 CEV “Christ encourages you, and his love comforts you. God’s Spirit unites you, and you are concerned for others. Now make me completely happy! Live in harmony by showing love for each other. Be united in what you think, as if you were only one person. Don’t be jealous or proud, but be humble and consider others more important than yourselves. 4 Care about them as much as you care about yourselves”. This is captioned “True Humility”….as Mark 12:31 says “The second most important commandment says: ‘Love others as much as you love yourself.’ No other commandment is more important than these.” and Matthew 22:39 says “The second most important commandment says: ‘Love others as much as you love yourself.’ No other commandment is more important than these.”

Verses 14-16 MSG “Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.” I can only imagine this is how Paul felt……….because there is nothing that makes my heart sing more than to see my Dad witnessing to anyone or anybody who will listen. You can’t leave him alone for more than a second before he catches someone sitting or someone walking by, and he strikes up a conversation about his miraculous Healer, Provider and lover of his soul. Thank you Lord for the awesome examples in my life!

  7. Sorry Matthew 22:39 CEV says “The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself.”

  8. iLove to eat MORE Word

    More Unity
Philippians 2:2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

    What makes a Pastor happy?
    What makes God Happy?
    What makes Saints happy?
    What makes Parents happy?
What makes Husbands and Wives happy?

    What makes the devil mad?

The answer to these questions and more is UNITY
So, if UNITY brings so much satisfaction why is it so hard to obtain? The answer is it comes through humility.

    Humility is a lost art.

    MORE Humility=MORE UNITY

    Dont worry be happy

  9. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

    15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Do ALL things without murmuring and disputing. If we wish to be blameless, harmless and such like verse 15 says then we must learn to bridle our tongue. If in negativity we sow with our words then negativity we shall reap. There will be blame, harm, and rebuke. But if we can sow positivity despite our discomfort then we shall also reap that which is positive.

  10. 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hallelujah! One day the world will see. Every knee. No one excluded. There is coming a day. When the sky will open and we will be judged. Thank God for his mercy for us to have a chance still to make things right.

  11. 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.
4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. (NLT)

We must be humble and create unity with one another. This is a choice we have, we can either choose to be humble and consider others before ourselves or God will make the decision for us. It’s like that saying, “we can do this the easy way or the hard way.” Let’s choose the easy way and humble ourselves and by doing so encourage one another.

  12. Philippians 2:15 (KJV Strong’s)
    15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:15 (Wuest – The New Testament: An Expanded Translation)
15 to the end that you may become those who are deserving of no censure, free from fault or defect, and guileless in their simplicity, God’s children without blemish, in the midst of a perverse and distorted generation among whom you appear as luminaries in the world,

Philippians 2:15 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
15 That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish (faultless, unrebukable) in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation [spiritually perverted and perverse], among whom you are seen as bright lights (stars or beacons shining out clearly) in the [dark] world,

The media, society, and entertainment seem to shout at us to conform. They want us to wear what they wear, watch what they watch, and but what they buy. The say they want individuality but instead produces a cookie cutter sinner, and child of darkness.

The world says the church needs to be more loving, more tolerant, and more accepting of sinful choices, and lifestyles.

This is a ruse of the devil.

The word today tells us that we are to be clean, separated, free of filth, innocent, and uncontaminated. We are to do this so we will shine as bright beacons of hope.

The world may say they want us to be like them on the outside but individuals are really watching to see if this is real, and hoping it is. They are tired of deceptive people, and groups posing as the church and children of God. They are desperate to see the people of God revealed.

This happens through our holiness and separation. Thank God for the standards, and principles passed down from our elders and leaders of the faith.

As the world gets darker the church will shine brighter. Because where sin doth abound grace doth much more abound.

  13. 9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Brings to mind a song…
    I saw the Lord
    Seated on the throne
    And he’s clothed in Glory
    And Exalted high
And the train of his robe
    Fills the Temple
And the Angels gather ’round him
    and cry

    [Chorus:]
    You are Holy
    Oh so Holy
You are Holy Lord of all

    And woe is me
    For I am unclean
    And my eyes have seen
    The coming King
    And he cleansed my lips
    Right before I died
    And the Pillars shook
    As the Angels cried

  14. NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!!!!

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Something happens when you call upon His Name….JESUS is so wonderful, so loving, so great and greatly to be PRAISED. HE IS MY GOD AND SAVIOR. There is no doubt in my mind that HE IS GOD and every tongue will confess, if not now, later but ALL will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. I am so thankful for HIS MERCY and LOVE.

  15. 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Living a Pentecostal life style as a youth you received questions daily. Why do you always wear skirts? You don’t cut your hair? Ever? The endless WHYS and HOWS. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of this hidden gem, the simple fact of I love Jesus, I want Him working through me, and if He is working through me, He will give me a desire to do what pleases Him.

  16. 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world
God has made his people to be lights in the world. He has asked us to shine for him and to show forth His praises. We should be like mirrors who when people see us they see Jesus.

  17. MORE PROMOTION = MORE HUMILITY

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

In a society that practices MORE ATTENTION = SELF PROMOTION we as followers of JESUS are challenged to change and redirect that culture in the Kingdom of GOD through the Church. Multitudes have left the faith and shunned the church as the result of pride.

Flesh seeks attention and when the thought gets in our mind that we are not receiving the credit or attention that we deserve, our human nature is SELF PROMOTION and we take the responsibility upon ourselves to initiate SELF PROMOTION. JESUS broke this curse in mankind; however it remains one of the most popular tactics of satan against the church.

JESUS is the greatest most powerful name according to verses 9 – 11. I believe JESUS to be the most powerful word we can speak as well.

Notice the theme of the entire chapter is HUMILITY and the result is VICTORY in JESUS.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  18. 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

We live in a world where its always about self, where most people think everything revolves around them. But us as Christians are suppose to have a Christ like mind, therefore we must put others needs ahead of our own, just like God put us before himself when he died on the cross for our sins! Lord help us to have a Christ like mind and to put others needs ahead of our own!!

  19. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

    15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Those that have Jesus in them (filled with HIS Spirit) are lights to do this world. Some people we only have a short time with, co-workers, friends, acquaintances. How are we going to be a light to them? Through our actions and attitudes. Doing all things without murmurings and disputing. Bringing peace to every situation. Sometimes it only takes one calm person to quiet an entire situation. We should be that person. The person bringing a solution not a can of gas to through on the fire.

Lord help us to adjust our attitudes and actions to continually be the LIGHT!

  20. Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit rather in humility value others above yourselves not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of each others. In your relationships with one another have the same mindset as Christ Jesus

  21. 1 If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care –

2 then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends.

3 Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead.

4 Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

5 Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. MSG

I want to have the mind of Christ. To see, hear and love as Christ does. This chapter reminds me of the song “I Love him to much to fail him now”.
I have came too far to turn back now. We as a whole have come too far to turn back, its time we start loving and helping others in needs. As Pastor said last night we don’t have to pray for ourselves all the time, pray for your brother and sister and above pray daily for our Pastor and Pastor’s wife.

  22. (NLT) Phil. 2:2-5 & 14-15
Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

If we live as the beginning of these scriptures say, agreeing with each other, loving one another, working together with one mind and purpose, humbling ourselves, putting others and their needs before our own, and having the same attitude Jesus had, then there will be no place for complaining and arguing.
But complaining and arguing come in when someone becomes selfish, prideful, and jealous. They start disagreeing, stop working together, think they are better than others, and they only have their own interest at heart. When this happens, then the light of Jesus can no longer shine and people begin to criticize.
So, let’s do as the scriptures say, be in agreement, love one another, work together with one mind and purpose, humble ourselves, putting others before ourselves, and having the same attitude as Jesus had. Then the light of Jesus can shine brightly in us for all the world to see.

St. Matt. 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

  23. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

We work out our own salvation with the word of God, not with our own will. Verse 12 is not permission to decide to do whatever you want to do in order to be saved. But rather with fear & trembling, respect His word, study it and obey it. God does allow us to be tested- to let us see what is in our hearts & lives that needs to be overcome. So no matter whether we are in a test or our brethren are in a test, work through it without murmuring and complaining-ask God for the mind that was in Christ to be in you. It will help us see people & situations through his eyes.

  24. Keys to the progress of the Kingdom

1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

    Likeminded, Same Love, one accord,
    One mind

Unity in the body proceeds the love of Christ.
With out unity we can go no further in his kingdom than where we are right now. If we bind together we will become strong and see the vision that we have for this region come to pass. If not we will sit here wondering why it never happened.

    MORE UNITY

  25. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Why are we doing the things that we do?sometimes we don’t even know.. but God knows because he sees the heart. We need to pray that God would examine our hearts and remove any wickedness, wrong intention, or selfish ambition. It is not our job to glory but instead to give all glory to him. We should check our intentions, check our hearts for tis hidden.

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus was the perfect example. One we should not look on as unattainable but instead strive to be like him. All things that he did are possible for us to do as well. I want to be like Jesus…

  26. Philippians 2:2-5 fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the other better than himself. Look not every man to his own things, but every man also to the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

Humbling ourselves and serving one another keeps the unity and makes us stronger that we can do greater things. The one that we should serve, came to serve us. He set an example for all of us to follow.

  27. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

I cannot begin to count the number of times that I have done something just to aggravate someone, or just so that I could have “bragging rights”. Truth be told, most people are that way, even though it goes direct against the Word of God.

If we all stopped and though for just a few seconds, I bet that we could all come up with an instance in our own lives where we should have taken the road less traveled, and should have esteemed our brother or sister first.

  28. I pray Jesus, that you would restore my joy, and to be in one accord, of one mind, and with the mind of Christ Jesus, to be like yours, in Christ Jesus name, Amen.
    ______________________________________________________________

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
    _____________________________________________________________
I choose to bow now, not later, have your way Lord Jesus Christ, be Lord of all of me. Amen & Amen………..Remember your mercies of old Lord….your love & mercy endureth forever. Let my tongue confess you more & MORE…………….

    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father
    ____________________________________________________________
I pray, that you preserve all my brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus, Father God, in Jesus name, I pray, Amen…..Please keep me under your wings, and be my potter of this clay, and forsake not the work of your hands, Amen.

    15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

    “Be Clay”………………………………………………………………………………….

  29. NLT 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Let God work within you. He will lead and guide in his ways. As a Christian, now we have the responsibility to serve God even MORE. Why are we going to work less reach others, or just be satisfied with our works. Ask, how can you give MORE to God to reach others about God’s plan of salvation.

  30. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

As a Pentecostal we do what we do and live how we live not only because the church says to or because man says so, but because the Word of God demands it from us, and because we have God’s Spirit in us it compels us to obedience. This obedience makes us be different, it makes us live differently and to do and fulfill God’s will, because He is the one working in us to do His work.

  31. Pauls joy in his fellowship with the Philippians will be even greater if they exhibit the unity to which every church is called. Achieving unity calls for an attitude of humilitythat mimics that of Jesus.

  32. v7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men :

Our LORD laid aside HIS heavenly attributes to become s man . HE was unconcerned about HIS own reputation and humbled HIMSELF.
WE would be wise to follow HID example and submit our lives to HIS WILL without regard to others’ thoughts.

    MORE HUMILITY
    MORE LOVE
    MORE SERVICE
    MORE OF HIS WILL

  33. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

That name that is able to heal, save and set free. There is no other name like the name of Jesus. When you call on the name of Jesus things begin to happen. Every devil flees at the very name of Jesus.

  34. “1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.” One will have a difficult time explaining to the Judge (Jesus), if one chooses not to get along. Dear God, help me to become more like you; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  35. 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Unity, it’s something that the body of Christ needs in all of the churches, after all if we can’t love each other, how can we show love to other people in the world that need Christ? How can we represent love if we are bickering with our brothers and sisters in Christ? So therefore it is important to stick together with each other like family because we are all blood bought by Christ.

  36. Without grumbling or disputes

Phil 2:14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; 15 so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,

Paul challenges the reader to do all things without complaining or disputes with others. If we do this, we prove ourselves blameless and innocent children of God in a wicked world. Lord help us to do everything we do as if we are doing it for you.

  37. 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

It is custom that when royalty walks into a room one would bow. When the name of Jesus is spoken it does not matter who are what you are you will bow. The King of kings has stepped into the room.

  38. Unity

    Philippians 2:1-2 NLT
1 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?

2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.

The love of God is not isolated between Him and each of us individually; His love incorporates the rest of the body of Christ as well and also involves our relationships with others. Unity is more powerful than simply getting along with others, it speaks of the strength of God’s love flowing freely amongst believers and the Church nourished as it is needed. There are some things that we believers need that God made provision for us to receive only through the body of Christ. The natural body can’t survive all dismembered and neither can the body of Christ.

    1 Corinthians 12:18 NLT
But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.

  39. More than all

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ KJV)

God’s name is JESUS!! It is higher, greater, and MORE powerful than we can imagine. He is more. He is higher/more than us. We need to realize that He can take all our little bitty problems and give us answers. He truly is a great and wonderful God.

  40. 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Matt 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Everything we do should be to glorify the Lord!!

  41. Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing. (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14-16‬ MSG)

We are the light of this world. The salt of the earth. Christ hands, feet and mouth. We lead at all times. We must the disciples God will be proud of.

  42. Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭14-15‬ NLT)

This is a scripture I need to read every day. You are your own testimony, if we go around all the time complaining about things we don’t want to do how are we being a good servant/witness?

  43. Obedient !!!! 8. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10. That at the name of Je’-sus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11. And that every tongue should confess that Je’-sus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 2 Cor. 3 : 5 I Love you Jesus !!!! I Praise you Jesus !!!! I Lift you up Jesus !!!! You are Worthy of all Praise !!!! YOU are AWESOME JESUS !!!!
