Titus 3

1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.

13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.

14 And let our’s also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.

  1. 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

    Arguing the Word.

    I have a friend that is a close friend of mine, she has the Holy Ghost…as far As I know…only God Knows, we can go on talking and arguing bout what the bible says. I pray this to shall pass…and we can stop. I did read this scriptuee a while back ago…that is causes strife too.

    Love your brethren…this is my prayer today that I love everyone’s differences and esp. the brethren…in Jesus Name, Amen.

    I love you Jesus, I surrender my flesh to you, JESUS. For the gospels sake.

  2. 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    We should live righteous but our works will not be enough to save us if we are saved at the end of or journey. I like the way this says it, the washing of regeneration is what can cleanse us and keep us clean.
    We all depend on the mercy of God to help us to be saved at the end of this life.
    People think the things we do as far as living for God, our righteous works is what will help us. These things are required for saints of God, this is how we show our love for God and thankfulness for the price he paid for us. It will never be enough for us to be saved
    Send your mercy unto us today Lord!!

  3. 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

    The word of God stands sure. There is no need to try and disprove the crazy ideas of foolish men who have no fear of God.

    We are set apart by the word of God!

    Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. -John 17:17

  4. Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭3-5‬ NLT)

    My eyes have seen many Christians being deceived, turning back to their old ways, living life according to their lustful desires. Not caring who it’s hurting along the way. They have turned away from their first love, being blinded by bitterness, anger, and hate! But as it was mentioned this past weekend ” the problem is NOT the problem, The problem is prayer!” As an individual you can pray for someone, and pray, but….. Eventually they’re going to have to seek the face of GOD for themselves. They must be filled with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This is what changes a person inside out, the word of GOD, read and apply, and the Holy Ghost.
    Don’t forget what The Lord has brought you from, remember His love, His Mercy, all so that you may live and have a hope of eternal life with Him.

  5. 5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    He first had to pour out mercy abundantly on us before He could pour out the Holy Ghost. I thank God for His mercy!

    Once there was a holy place
    Evidence of God’s embrace
    And I can almost see mercy’s face
    Pressed against the veil

    Looking down with longing eyes
    Mercy must have realized
    That once His blood was sacrificed
    Freedom would prevail

    And as the sky grew dark
    And the earth began to shake
    With justice no longer in the way

    Mercy came running
    Like a prisoner set free
    Past all my failures
    To the point of my need
    When the sin that I carried
    Was all I could see
    And when I could not reach mercy
    Mercy came running to me

  6. v7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

    JESUS showed GREAT POWER when HE WALKED OUT OF HIS OWN TOMB ALIVE!!!
    PRAISE THE LORD!!! because of HIS resurrection we posses this Great HOPE.
    ONEof these days we too will arise from our own graves to dwell with HIM in the glory of
    HIS PRESENCE.
    WHAT HOPE and what a Great Promise!!!

    GOD has given us power and authority to speak to our dead dreams,hopes ministries and to our spiritually dead love ones.
    That’s the miracle of the resurrection of
    JESUS CHRIST.
    ” Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust:
    For thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast the dead.”. Isaiah 26:19

  7. Verses 4-7 CEV “God our Savior showed us how good and kind he is. He saved us because of his mercy, and not because of any good things that we have done. God washed us by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave us new birth and a fresh beginning. God sent Jesus Christ our Savior to give us his Spirit. Jesus treated us much better than we deserve. He made us acceptable to God and gave us the hope of eternal life.”

    Same verses AMP “But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope.”

    Thank you Lord for your loving kindness and mercy you showed me. Help me now to reflect the same.

  8. 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
    7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

    James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

    Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

    Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

    It is not a science, it is simple, It is by His Grace that we are saved. We all know this verse, we all recite this verse some time in our lives, now the must important thing is DO WE BELIEVE THIS VERSE – JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    Work alone will not save us, Faith alone will not save us, for our work, our lives, our reactions, how we handle EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD, is OUR TESTIMONY and shows the world that we are not a regular joe, we are holy, set a side, peculiar people, separate, unlike others, unique, fire talkers, holy rollers, Pentecostals saints and happy about it.

  9. iLove to eat MORE Word

    8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

    To profit in the kingdom is take the Word of God and live it. We are not saved by works of righteousness, but we profit by it according to this verse. Lets prosper in the kingdom and do good works.

  10. Titus 3:1-2 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
    1 REMIND PEOPLE to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work,
    2 To slander or abuse or speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody.

    Submission and humility go hand in hand. Submission without humility is not true submission. One can not have true humility without submission.

    The word subject is a compound greek word which means under chain of command.

    Meekness means gentleness, and humility.

    We cannot just do what we are told and harbor pride in our hearts and be effective in the kingdom.

    A kingdom mindset is to remember who Jesus is, who we were, who we are now, and how others are in desperate need of what we have.

  11. Titus 3:8
    This is a faithful saying and these things i will that thou affirm constantly
    that they which have belived in god might be careful to maintain good and profitable unto men.

    God wants us to be faithful and to be careful and to belive what he is going too do and we need maintain a good profitable men too i belive we can do anything for the kingdom of god it takes more and more faith. AMEN

  12. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    We have the Holy Ghost, we were washed of the old man and made into a new creature. We are no longer full of anger and hate towards others but cleansed we can now fill ourselves with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, and all the fruit of His spirit.

  13. Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ NLT)

    We were sin if we were judged we would been sent to hell. We were in love with sin and the evils of this world. We wanted everything in our own way. We wanted evening we couldn’t have. Sin lived inside of us and when it knocked on our doors we let it in and welcomed it. I was a slave to sin.

    But…God

    But— When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭4-5‬ NLT)

    We are only saved through the grace of God! I would not be standing and living today if it wasn’t for the mercies of the God almighty. He cleansed us and made us brand new and forgot about our sins. He lives inside of us in our praises. I don’t know why he didn’t send me to hell then I didn’t deserve him. I didn’t love him. But he gave me love and now I’m living in his life.

    I stabbed him in the back.
    He turned around and hugged me.
    Grace, mercy, his love.

  14. Paul suggest that christian people to be good citizens of there state. They will also be deeply rooted in Gods love and will devote themselves to do what is good. The church will avoid unprofitable disputes and purify itself of warped and devisive individuals.

  15. 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
    Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15

  16. MORE SALVATION

    4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    We should be eternally thankful for the opportunity to know JESUS and experience the power of the Holy Ghost through the original, eternal GOD given plan of salvation.

    JESUS declared in John 3:5 that a man must be “Born Again” of the water and of the Spirit or he or she could not enter into the Kingdom of GOD. The BIBLE faithfully repeats and affirms these words of JESUS, such as the Apostle here affirming the same to Titus. Man has historically attempted to weaken or water down the ONLY plan of salvation given mankind. However the WORD of GOD faithfully affirms the original plan of salvation.

    Lets share the gospel with someone today.

    John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

    Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    iRepent
    iPray
    iPraise
    iWork

  17. 14 And let our’s also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

    14 Our people have to learn to be diligent in their work so that all necessities are met (especially among the needy) and they don’t end up with nothing to show for their lives. (NLT)

    Maintain good work. We need everyone to continually be ready at their spot, the word says so that all necessities are met. Someone could be lost cause we were not available. Yet diligent work will produce healthy fruits!

  18. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
    4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    The answer is the cross. What was done on that day. A life debt. This is what we own. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  19. Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭1-2‬ NLT)

    If we are true children of God we should seek unity, peace and harmony.

    God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. (‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬ NLT)

  20. 1 Remind the people to respect the government and be law-abiding, always ready to lend a helping hand

    2 No insults, no fights. God’s people should be bighearted and courteous.

    3 It wasn’t so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back.

    4 But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in,

    5 he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit. NIV
    I have seen many christians friends and family turn their backs on God after all he done for them. They are believing lies and gonna be lost if we don’t stand in the gap for them. We have all done stuff that was wrong and we knew it, but we have to get it under the blood. It’s time we step up to the plate and be what God wants us to be. We all are around hurting people everyday, at my job i see it everyday. People are just asking for a place to fit in.

  21. 4 But- When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love,
    5 he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
    6 He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior.
    7 Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. (NLT)

    “But when God,” gotta love those words together. We can rest assured that no matter what happens, no matter what the circumstances are, they can be horrible, “But when God.” When God steps in everything changes and life is made new!

    God, You are so good!

  22. 3, “For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.”
    4, “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,”
    5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his MERCY he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”
    6, “Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;”

    Micah 7:18 says, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgressions of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in MERCY.”
    Hebrews 8:12 says, “For I will be MERCIFUL to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.”

    Thank God for his kindness and love that appeared to us. Thank God for his MERCY that saved us.

  23. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    It is the by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost that we are able to show love and kindness toward all men. This is how we are able to forgive and release as Bro. Shatwell spoke on Sunday Night. If we are renewed daily in the Holy Ghost, He gives us power to die out to our carnal nature and keep the carnal man dead, whereby we don’t allow that unforgiveness to rule and reign in us.

  24. 1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

    2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    The Lord Jesus Christ wants us to be humble and be loving to others just like Jesus . To respect and obey those above you. To do the good works of God in a sincere way.

  25. 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    It’s no coincidence that the Word speaks of the meek ” inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.” (Ps37:11). Matt 5:9 says” Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Gossiping and speaking bad all begins in the mind with what we think about another person. When that bad thought doesn’t get humbled my the beholder it festers up and stagnates. One day those thoughts if not brought under submission and “by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” (vs5) will boil over into sin ‘brawlers’. None of us walked into the church squeaky clean of sin, in fact sin is a daily battle (vs3). We have to “die daily” as the Apostle says, let go of the bad things that have been weighing us down. When we do this we’ll feel lighter and apt to do the good works Paul talks about here with a meek heart and mind.

  26. Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.. I think he is saying as long as you pray and read his word and obey. He will be with you through everything. .

  27. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    If we find ourselves in any situation that even resembles the list in verse 3 we need to just keep reading till verse 5. I’ve not been in this for a very long time but I’ve been at it long enough to know when you get the Holy Ghost it is not the end of your struggle. The Holy Ghost is your answer to your trouble but as it says in the bible not many days and a man is full of trouble. Not many days after I got the Holy Ghost I found trouble. The only thing different was I had a map to the grace of God. Now when I take a wrong turn I just have to refer back to my map to the renewing of the Holy Ghost.

  28. 1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
    2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    The last past of these two verses caught my attention here, “Shewing all meekness unto all men…” Why didn’t it simply say showing meekness to all men? Why does it have to be all meekness? I think that it might have something to do with the fruit of the spirit, because when we become long-suffering we continue even when we don’t necessarily want to. for us to show meekness, we would be able to change from being meek, to not so meek, but with mature fruit, called long-suffering we are able to continue in meekness, without having to get ” all riled up”.

  29. 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
    God died for us because of his mercy and love for us. He had done so many things for me, why not give him everything we have?! I want to give him the good of my life and for him to take the bad away as I will avoid the bad. Doing good for God is equal to eternal life with God!!! 🙂

  30. 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Show love and kindness and keep you worldly flesh dead

  31. In this scripture, it brings back to mind how we all were living in sin, or in this world just like they are. But, we have been changed by the Power of the Holy Ghost, and the Gospel. So, be that example to the lost and be kind to all, and keep in remembrance. We all need Jesus, it’s not always easy when confrontation occurs or if they hate us. But, remember Jesus warned us that if they hated him, they were going to hate us too. That warning from Jesus, always seems so easily manifested especially today. Try to be at peace with every man………………..

    2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    “Love One Another”……………………………………………………………………….

  32. 1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

    2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    In order to do the work of the Lord we must be willing to submit to our authorities and be obedient to those authorities we must respect, and also show patience because they are also not perfect, but they are the chosen ones to lead us. We must remember that submission, readiness, and weekends is also a life style and we must be ready at all times.

  33. 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Per the Word of God man’s actions cannot save them but it is the mercy of God. If the Word of God is true- and it is, that would also mean that I do not continually stay under His mercy by my actions. Yet, my actions take me from just living in His mercy to living a life of Faith and relationship with the merciful God. Faith without works is dead. (James 2:17) Actions or my prayers, my fasting, my study of the Bible will get me that much closer to walking not on my own but by “Faith.” Now instead of continually supporting me He is continually using me.

  34. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

    When someone is careful about something, they keep an extra eye on it, they pay attention to details (what comes in, what goes out).

    To maintain good works, you must not stop, or go back, but keep going forward. Even if it is baby steps, keep going forward, keep improving, keep growing.

  35. Foolish debates…

    “But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.” (Titus 3:9 ESV)

    “Stay away from mindless, pointless quarreling over genealogies and fine print in the law code. That gets you nowhere.” (Titus 3:9 MESSAGE)

    Paul admonishes Titus to avoid stupid arguments of so-called teachers. The Greek for avoid literally means to turn around and face the other direction. It is important to note that these conversations were coming from many who claimed to be teachers, not from general saints. We must be cautious to not dismiss legitimate concerns people have by simply “avoiding stupid conversations.” Furthermore, these arguments were over genealogies and fine print in the law, which most likely refers to the Mosaic law. I see this a lot from people who want to discredit the Bible by talking about the Mosaic law and its forms of punishments, especially for homosexuals. Also, I have seen it in the academic field regarding genealogies for dating the Bible, mostly from “Young Earth” creationists.

    Whatever the case, it is better to avoid arguments that seemingly go nowhere. While there are interesting topics to discuss, i.e. Gen 6, fallen angels and giants, did man live with dinosaurs, etc. The Bible did not intend to address these concerns. It is a story about God’s redemption for fallen humanity, not a book addressing science, in depth cosmology, and etc. It is better to be educated on all of the opinions on such topics, rather than heated argue one side or the other.

  36. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost”. One would have no chance of salvation without God (Jesus), as such one should thank the Lord (Jesus) daily. Dear God, thank you and let me never forget what you have done; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  37. Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time. If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them. For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them. (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭9-11‬ NLT)

    We need to stay positive in what we do say or think. Negativity can not only bring you down but others as well weather it be in talking to them directly or someone watching you in a negative manner. We are always being watched everywhere, people notice not only that we are different but they feel God as well. However it’s not just you being positive it’s what you surround yourself with because just like pastor has said before “what you put in your body weather it be reading, listening etc. will come out.” So we need to watch what we put into our minds and what we see, listen to because if it doesn’t come out right away it will eventually. But remember God see’s all.

  38. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    God I come to you my father for I ask you for your kindness and love god for that if you would allow me to be fullfiled with your abundant love that you have for me, God if your my savior, if you came for me , if you can set me free from all the things that have me bound , if you can do that would you show me would you show up for me my father for you appeared for me. In the Name of Jesus !!!!! Amen!!!!

    I want more and more of your word father!!

    2 Corinthians 7:16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things

    Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

  39. Renewing of the Holy Ghost !!!! 4. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 1 Tim. 2 : 3 5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Ho’-ly Ghost; John 3 : 3 Rom. 3 : 20 6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Je’-sus Christ our Saviour; Thank you Jesus for Blessings and Miracles !!!! Thank you for changing my life !!!!

  40. 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
    God wants our conversation and lifestyle to be pure and peaceful. We should not be forward with our mouths but we should be meek and humble as we deal with each other. We must remember to submit ourselves one to another and in doing so we will be pleasing to God.

  41. 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

    I’m thankful for the price our Lord Jesus paid. We all need his mercy. Our works could never be enough. Our good works it’s only the standard to live life by. In obedience and thankfulness and love towards Him. If we love Him, we will obey his commandments. It is only Him that washes and renews. We should always keep in mind, and be forever grateful and praise Him for that awesome price paid. Thank you for thy salvation Jesus!

  42. 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

    3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

    4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

    We shouldn’t judge people for what they are going through now because we were once there. It doesn’t feel good to have a brother or sister talk about us and cut us with their words, s why would we do that to others. Everyone is in need of mercy. Everyone needs Jesus

  43. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
    5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    AMEN!!! Nobody can change anybody but Jesus once He fills you and you keep having that relationship with Him you just can’t let go of Him. Once you truly have received God and received the Holy Ghost you have received power and dominion over all things. Jesus is the only one that can transform you, your family, and your life. Nothing in this world can compare to all the miracles and wonders that He is able to do.

  44. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

    9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

    10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

    11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

    It is easy to get in quarrels about theologies and about who is right and who is wrong. But when you do that it is also easy to slip into pridefulness in wanting to be right. So avoid arguments over trivial things because it is not worth it.

  45. After self

    But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭4-5‬ KJV)

    We are all selfish, but after we are past ourselves, there is Jesus. For this reason we are to die to ourselves daily.
