James 1

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

  1. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

All wisdom comes from God Almighty, every piece of knowledge that has ever been conceived has come from the lips of God, so why ask questions to men when we all have this resource available to us?

When we are in trouble or are stuck in situation that we do not understand, all we need to do is ask God about and he can help us understand and turn away our confusion. We may not like the answer he gives us or maybe he doesn’t give u the answer in the way we would expect or in the time that we wanted it, but God will give us the answer to life’s questions if we just merely be patient on wait on him, believing in his word that he will hear us and answer us.

  2. Pure religion

James 1:27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before  God  the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in  their time of trouble, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

There is a two part meaning to this text. First, to care for orphans and widows is to provide for the needs of the destitute. At that time, society was man centered. Women needed to be provided for my thief husband, father, or children. Widows were in need. Orphans usually had no caretakers either. The Christian was to aid in taking care of them, especially those in that position that belonged to the church.
Second, spiritual orphans can be seen today as the unsaved, whereas the widows would pertain to the backsliders. This metaphor is not perfect. How can God die? He can’t, but to a backslider, in one’s own mind, God is dead to them. They live as though he was. We are to be compassionate to the unsaved and backslid. The are in spiritual need. They need provision in love and prayer.

  3. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Wisdom comes from God and we must understand if we have wisdom or lack wisdom. Man must always understand that he is nothing without God and the need of God in our lives. This scripture tells us how much we need faith in our lives, to get the wisdom we need in living for God. If we are double minded and move from one position to another and never firm in our walk with God we will not be saved.

  4. The beginning of this chapter is captioned in the MSG as “Faith Under Pressure”. Many falter under pressure and others may thrive; but, overcoming should not be an option. It has to become a way of life as verse 12 says “Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and MORE life.” Giving in or giving up is the easy way out; but, enduring is a challenge of the heart (faith).

Verse 19-21 MSG “Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God’s righteousness doesn’t grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life.” We must allow the Word to prune us and make us grow.

Prune: to cut off some of the branches of (a tree or bush) so that it will grow better
    or look better
: to reduce (something) by removing parts that are not necessary or wanted
: to reduce especially by eliminating superfluous matter
    : to remove as superfluous
: to cut off or cut back parts of for better shape or MORE fruitful growth

  5. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Receive the word! It’s able to save our souls. Just hearing the word isn’t enough but receiving it, accepting its truth for our life. The chapter goes on to say be doers of the word not just hearers. If we truly receive Gods word then we will act upon it.

  6. 19 so then my beloved brethren, let every men be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath: for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. I think he is telling us here that we need to think before we speak. Because some time we say things that we might not meant to say and that is how we hurt someone.

  7. James 1:3
knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience .

we have to be patience with a lot of things god tells us to do and we must have more faith and more peace ,more revival and last more patience too . AMEN

  8. 2 Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. (AMP)

If you have all your faith and trust in God, you have no need to worry! We have the choice to be joyful in all things especially in a time when we know our outcome helps us to grow and become stronger.

  9. Eating(The Word) can keep you healthy!

When that thought of sin enters, you have the power to walk away from it, do it quickly!!! Don’t allow it to seduce, manipulate the way you think.
This is where many Christians fail, they fall right into the trap of the enemy, thinking that there is no way out. They have believed and listened to the lie,to enemy of their soul!
this is why we must daily eat of The Word Of GOD, it’s healthy, it’ll lead you down the right path that can lead you to life, and keep you from hell through obedience to His word!

  10. iLove to eat More Word

James 1:26 “If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. 27 Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”

Wow, this is a great Word to start the day off with.

    religion #G2356
    θρησκεία
    thrēskeia
    thrace-ki’-ah
From a derivative of G2357; ceremonial observance: – religion, worshipping.

Worship is not just going to church and singing a song, but worship is serving the Lord by serving people. WOW.

  11. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

Amen! I never realized how important this was till I got the revelation here at POFW! I had to remove a lot of things that were not good for my spirit because everything I do affects not only me but the people that are around me! Remove Everything that is impure Jesus! Guide my eyes, ears, and mind! Take over my mind Jesus!!!!!! I glorify your name Jesus!!!!! Take away all filthiness and fill it with your word and spirit Jesus!

  12. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2-4‬ NLT)

When trouble and hard times come our way, we should have a joyful mindset. We should see it as an opportunity to grow. That passage tells us that part of FOUR40 will grow. Endurance

  13. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Everything Good comes from God Himself., with whom there is no Variableness = it does not change = it is ALWAYS THE SAME!!!! So what is sin today will still be sin tomorrow and the day after that. Our Lord and SAVIOR want nothing less than the best for us and we should want Him the same way. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me every day. Thank you Jesus for never giving up on me. For to die in you is a gain, HALLELUJAH GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!!

  14. Just do it.

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Nike. We’ve all heard and seen them. Some of us have even worn them. They are comfortable. But the phrase” just do it,” has so much meaning. Get up and get going. We must get out of this mentality that someone else will do it. 😴💤You just do it. So. JUST DO IT!!!!🏃💨

  15. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

How should we count it joyful to be tempted? How does that make sense? Consider a teenager learning to drive. The first time they are encouraged and allowed to drive on their own; maybe to the grocery store or school for their first time. The trust exhibited by the parents towards the child while it may not be a direct temptation, there are many temptations associated with driving. The temptation to speed, show off in front of their friends, drive to places they should be going, etc…

It is the Lord’s trust and belief in our ability to overcome these temptations that is the base of this scripture. The Lord knows the intent of our heart. Thus his temptations are designed for us individually.

  16. DOERS OF THE WORD 22-25

Just listening to the Word of God wont help us with tests that God sends. But commitment to doing the Word will lead to blessing in all we do.
Dont blame God or the devil for feeling tempted-or for giving in to temptation.

  17. Life and Death

15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Paul acknowledges that trials and temptations are going to come, but when we overcome them we’ll mature our way to the crown of life. He says to “consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters whenever you face trials of many kinds” (vs2) because it procudes perserverance, and without it we will get nowhere. As mature believers we should actually thank Jesus for all the trails that have blown our way, because of them we have become stronger. We learn how to endure and take on more. We are being built up to live and thrive for the kingdoms sake. Death comes in the form of temptation, because it is not of God (vs13&14) “each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed”. Letting trials and temptations overcome us gives birth to sin, but “He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.” We have the choice to be or give birth to life or death. Mature believers have the profound mission of keeping the babies alive in our church, encourage and stabilize them on their journey through the trails and temptations that will come their way. We can’t stand by and watch them drown “like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind” (vs6). Toss in the life preserver! This is a matter of life and death, keep the babies alive!

  18. 21, “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive (to take into one’s possession; get; accept; acquire) with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”
22, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Get rid of all sin in your life today, and Receive ye the Word of the Lord. Don’t be just a hearer of the word, letting it go in one ear and out the other, but receive (take hold of it, accept it) it, act upon it, and do it. It is Obedience to the Word of God that will save your soul.

MORE Receiving the Word of the Lord!
MORE Obedience to the Word of the Lord!
MORE Doing the Word of the Lord!

  19. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Our faith must be strong and steadfast. No matter what the answer is that comes, we must have complete trust and faith in God that God knows whats best and will work according to His will and timing.

My faith doesn’t stand in the wisdom of man but is stands in the power of God
It doesn’t rise or fall when my backs against the wall
My faith stands in the power of God.

  20. MORE WISDOM

WISDOM is a precious commodity that is not flashy or attractive. Wisdom however is REAL and RIGHT. Frequently WISDOM is misinterpreted for indecisiveness or procrastination. However since WISDOM is the ability to apply knowledge. WISDOM builds on FACTS not FEELINGS.

Luke 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

WISDOM is attained through FAITHFULNESS. Being committed in MIND and SPIRIT not being double minded.

Patience works through WISDOM. WISDOM begins with asking GOD for IT.

Once we ask for WISDOM we must also be willing to WAIT for the WISDOM to show up. This is where Patience comes in. It is very unfruitful to ask GOD for WISDOM then do what you wanted to do before HE answers. This makes one double minded and unstable; we want GOD to answer but we are not willing to wait for it.

    Ask and don’t waiver.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  21. 2Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. ESV
Wow, this chapter hit home this morning. I come to work and 30 minutes after opening the clinic i have been cussed, hollered at and threated. What do i do I smile and say well i hope your day gets better. People are watcing how we react to situations like these. i could have blew up and said you are not going to talk to me like that, but what kind of witness would i have been? So just remember when you are going thru trails just count it all joy cause the outcome is awesome!!!

  22. James 1:2 Consider pure joy my brothers and sisters whenever you face trails of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom you should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to you.but when you ask you must believe and not doubt because the one who doubt’s is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double minded and unstable in all they do.

  23. Wisdom !!!! 5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. James 4 : 8 I LOVE YOU JESUS !!!! I ADORE YOU, I EXALT YOU !!!! I AM VICTORIOUS !!!! YOU REIGN !!!!

  24. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

When we come to a place where we no longer want; things fall into place. I don’t mean when we enter into a place of complacency God forbid! No instead, when we stop wanting, wanting the things of this world, wanting the things that it is not time for, wanting the things of the flesh, wanting. The word says that God knows what we have NEED of before we even ask of him. He is the Provider, you don’t always get what you want but you do always get what you need and he makes sure of that. The things we should be wanting for is wisdom, wisdom to discern what is a want and what is a need that way were not bent out of shape about something that we wanted and didn’t need in the first place!

My God knows what I have need of… and I rest in the thought that I know he is going to take care of me.

  25. 21. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

    22. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

    25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The Word is able to save our souls, but only if we do MORE than hear it; we have to obey and apply it to our lives to be blessed and not deceived.

  26. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

The only outcome for sin is death. This is the reason why it is important for us to abstain from sin. If we are to live, we must do those things God has set into place. Our power and immortality comes from God and him alone. Only way to advance is to go up.

  27. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
One that is full of self, has left no room for Jesus (God). Dear God, help me to see self, as you do, so that I may be saved; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. In God we trust! What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  28. And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭13-15‬ NLT)

This was a huge epiphany to me! It makes complete sense but for some reason I didn’t know this. But we all should learn something new everyday and Thank You Jesus for showing me something new.

  29. Hearers and Doers of the Word

My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.
    James 1:19

How often anger triggers hurtful words! Let anger be a red flag— a warning to follow through with the Spirit -control. “Godly” is not something we simply decide to be. It’s the description of a person who truly follows Jesus so closely that she becomes like Him. But you can be sure when you meet that person, he or she will be someone whose tongue brings blessing and whose words draw you to the Lord.

  30. James 1:12 (ESV Strong’s)
12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Trial – (MED) 4280] πειρασμός peirasmos 21x a putting to the proof, proof, trial, 1 Pet. 4:12; Heb. 3:8; direct temptation to sin, Lk. 4:13; trial, temptation, Mt. 6:13; 26,41; 1 Cor. 10:13; trial, calamity, affliction, Lk. 22:28 [3986]

How much proof is there to prove you are a Christian. How log would it take someone to figure out who you are. The saying goes if someone has to have you tell them that you are a Christian for them to know that about you then you probably are not one.

We are not waking this life alone. Jesus is with us every step of the way, and just like the prophets of old he will allow us to go through seasons of trials.

The bible says there are the called, chosen, and faithful. The step beyond chosen is faithfulness. We have to hit a season where we are tried. Our faithfulness is put to the test. Once this is done we will be positioned to grow and do great things for God.

  31. James 1:19 -20
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
    Verse 20
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Nothing can be more clear than this… Even do sometimes people can really push it to see how far they can go… We must be righteous, slow to anger. God knows that has been my experience this week!!! No matter what I have to show the LOVE of God.

  32. Continue Therein

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The principle here can be applied in a broader sense as well; if you continue in the vision of something the Lord birthed, you will be blessed. When we continue in His law we are blessed but also when we continue in His will as spoken specifically to us, to our family, to our local church congregation, etc. The vision of IFT as well as Four40 was God-breathed and we will be blessed as we continue in it. It’s not enough to “amen” the preacher but never change; our actions will give life to the Lord’s vision within us and allow us to be both fruitful and align us for blessing.

    Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

  33. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
Don’t just be a hearer of the word, be a doer of the word

  34. So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭21-22‬ NLT)

It’s important that we do more than just read the bible every now and then. We need to read His word EVERYDAY to build that foundation with God. Then we must take that word and put it into action. We can’t be lazy and lackadaisical, it’s time to arm ourselves with His word and prayer

  35. 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

God I come to you today lord Jesus christ, O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life’s hardships. But for the lost souls that are tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed, But for gods children we learned from are right and wrong decisions we make on are own through life, for are God shows us to understand that the decisions we made before we learn now that in our fathers eye he doesn’t accept that from his children or in his kingdom also.! In Jesus Name Amen!!!!

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh

Numbers 12:6 he said, Listen to my words: When there is a prophet among you I , the lord reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams

Psalm 39:1 I said, I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the the presence of the wicked.

NEED MORE OF YOUR WORD HUNGER FOR YOU MY LORD JESUS CHRIST I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE!!!!!

  36. James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted from God; for God is incapable of being tempted by what is evil and He Himself tempts no one. But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire lust, passions. Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death.

The temptation tries  our faith…  Here is where one must Die, to flesh and its desires that we don’t become dead…in the spirit.  The wage of sin is death.  So if we are looking to overcome temptations we must make sure to die to any kind of fleshly desire daily.  Dying to your will   And allowing God’s will and His word to operate in your life will give you victory.  We must die that we may not end up dead…

  37. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭27‬ KJV)

Many times at church I have heard this verse used to talk about widows and orphans. People tend to leave off the second portion of this verse. The second part of the verse tells us about HOLINESS! To keep yourself I spotted from the world means the you have to be separated from it.

Holiness is not just clothing, long hair, no make up, and no jewley. It’s a choice about living away from the lusts of this world. Movies, some food businesses, some drink businesses, some clothing stores, the lusts if this world are everywhere.

    Separate yourselves.
    Be holy’

  38. 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Endurance comes by way of training. As Bro. Shatwell stated “the more we train ourselves to hear the voice of God” the easier it is to know when it is not him.

  39. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

We need to see that God is doing a work in our lives when temptations or trials come upon us. Ask yourself “what is God trying to do for me in this trial?” He may be trying our faith, strengthening us for something coming down the road, or weeding and pruning sin out of our lives. Whatever it is, rejoice, because we will be stronger on the other side!

  40. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
We are becoming stronger or weakened daily, dependent upon our attitude towards our trials.

  41. 3) Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

I don’t need to worry because I know that Jesus will provide everything I need. And I know that at the end of this battle I will come out stronger and wiser than before.
