2 Peter 3

1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

  1. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him— (‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9-10, 15‬ NLT)

When I see the times that we are currently living in, living according to the will of man is dangerous! You want to play with fire thinking that you’ll never get burned is simply stupid. The wages of sin does bring forth death, you’ll see it will catch up to you. We need to embrace the time and deliver the gospel to those who surround us. JESUS is coming, He desires for all to be saved!

  2. iLove to eat More Word

2 Peter 3:16 NLT speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction.

We must always keep the true meanings of the scriptures and never twist them into something they are not. Even Peter admits that Paul’s letters might be alittle hard to understand, however, just because we don’t understand something doesn’t give us the right to make something up. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Boom.

  3. Verses 17-18 MSG “But you, friends, are well-warned. Be on guard lest you lose your footing and get swept off your feet by these lawless and loose-talking teachers. Grow in grace and understanding of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ. Glory to the Master, now and forever! Yes!”

Same verses AMP “Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind]. But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and [h]recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!” Keep your eyes, your mind, your heart on Jesus.

  4. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance
The Lord does not look at time the same way we do, but we live by time. We sometimes do not think God cares, when all the problems of life is coming to us. God cares and always makes a way for us. The desire of God is for us all to repent, but we must repent and allow God in.

  5. 8. Don’t imagine, dear friends, that God’s timetable is the same as ours; as the psalm says, for with the Lord, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day.

    9. Now the Lord is not slow about enacting His promise-slow is how some people want to characterize it-no, He is not slow but patient and merciful to you, not wanting anyone to be destroyed, but wanting everyone to turn away from following his own path and to turn toward God’s. The Voice

God existed before time and will exist after time is no more; we can’t think that He is restricted by it and therefore must operate in it as we do. He is showing mercy to those who have yet to repent. His timing is perfect and at the right ‘time’, He will return for His Bride.

  6. 2 Peter 3 :9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness ; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    Unwilling for any to Perish
God is not willing that any should perish clearly expresses desire for the salvation of all who will trust in Him. Salvation is equated here with repentance.

Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

  7. 1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

We need to keep in remembrance the things God has spoke to us himself and through prophets. If we are quick to forget then we will be easier deceived. Gods promises are yea and amen, let us cling to them dearly.

  8. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭9-10‬ KJV)

This is why we have block parties and crusades. Pastor’s vision is to impact our city, state, nation and world. Events like this weekend draw crowds that might not generally come to church. Oh that we would reach our world so that no one would burn.
    MORE IMPACT!

  9. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This gives one good reason why the Lord has not come for us already, it is because there is more people he wants to see saved and brought into his kingdom!

This is why we all need to outreach to our loved ones more than before, for the day that he comes will come when we least expect it and we do not want to be sitting there in heaven having to take an account unto God and having him ask us why we didn’t bring the gospel to so and so when we were supposed to.

Reach out to people while God has given us all the chance, we want to take as many people with us to heaven as possible!

  10. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. (‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬ ESV)

When we have come from our old man to our new man we have been given new garments. We must strive to keep those garments clean and pure. Our old man was bound by the works of the flesh but now we have the fruit of the Spirit. If we should ever stumble, know that our Lord and Savior has a robe waiting to cover us with.
But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. (‭Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭22‬ ESV)

it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. (‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭8‬ ESV)

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭10‬ ESV)

  11. MORE REPENTANCE

Sin seems fun. Grudges seem right. Selfishness seems gratifying. Godliness seems outdated.

These and many other deceptions are lingering and waiting to deceive multitudes as they have for generations. For thousands of years these lies have deceived multitudes into choosing a temporary pleasure rather than investing in an eternal security.

Do not be ignorant, ETERNITY is unending. No person can relate to 1000 years. Very few live past the 100 year mark. However the apostle here is conveying to us how temporary time is as we know it.

1 day in hell will seem like 1000 years of torment, only to have the same tomorrow.

1 day in heaven will seem like 1000 years of peaceful glory, only to have the same tomorrow.

In my mind ignorant would be the individual who chooses not to REPENT and turn away from sin and its temporal pleasures and submit our intentions, thoughts and will to GOD.

GOD is anxiously anticipating, mercifully awaiting and graciously gleaning for our REPENTANCE.

May we never tire of MORE REPENTANCE to ask forgiveness and turn away from iniquity.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  12. 8 But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.

We are all on God’s time. While we are waiting, it seems as time slows down and we start to get impatience, thats when we get into trouble. We want to do things on our time. If we would only pray and let God do his will, our troubles will disappear in time according to God’s time.

  13. NLT of 2 Peter 3:4, 3:9, 3:15
4,”They will say, What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.”
9, “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for our sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”
15, “And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him.”

1 Timothy 2:4 says, “Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Have you ever wondered why the Lord hasn’t come back for His church? Well, the answer is found here in these scriptures. It isn’t that His promise to “come again” won’t come to pass, because It Will someday, but God is being Patient and Waiting for MORE Souls to be saved. He doesn’t want anyone to be lost. He doesn’ want anyone to perish, but He wants ALL to come to repentance and the knowledge of the Truth.

We have a job to do. It’s time to “Run With A Message!”
    MORE Souls Be Saved!

  14. 3 1-2 My dear friends, this is now the second time I’ve written to you, both letters reminders to hold your minds in a state of undistracted attention. Keep in mind what the holy prophets said, and the command of our Master and Savior that was passed on by your apostles.

Keep an undistracted attention. Continually dwell on what the Word says. We must be ready daily. Just as Bro. Merriman taught us Friday night, we are all “tools” in Gods Tool Box and we need to be in our spot and ready at all times.

  15. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Conversation: noun – informal interchange of thoughts, information, etc., by spoken words; oral communication between persons; talk; colloquy; the ability to talk socially with others: She writes well but has no conversation; behavior or manner of living.

Our conversation is more than just words that flow out of our mouth. It is what we speak, what we do, how we behave, actions, reactions, what we type on social media, what we portray as a life style. All of these things speak volumes of the person we are.

We must live as a Godly example in everything we do. There is no opportunity to be double minded, unstable, we must choose the path and walk therein that is pleasing, and acceptable unto the Lord.

  16. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” (‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ NLT)

What happen to your God? Where is he at. There is no God he’s not coming to save you. That book is useless and old. It’s a fake story book.

Theses are all the things they will tell you. But we have to firm in our faith to not give ear to them and let them effect the way we live.

  17. First off, you need to know that in the last days, mockers are going to have a heyday. Reducing everything to the level of their puny feelings,

4 they’ll mock, “So what’s happened to the promise of his Coming? Our ancestors are dead and buried, and everything’s going on just as it has from the first day of creation. Nothing’s changed.” MSG
We are going to be mocked for living for Jesus but the outcome outweighs the mocking. I have heard all my life God is coming back and didn’t understand it till i had my girls and my own relationship with God. You know back when i was in middle school you never heard of homsexual and today people think it is the normal thing to do. God forbid that is not the way he intended us to live. Be careful who you are hanging around with and talking to, you may not see it but you become the company you keep. So if you are hanging with someone that is pulling away from God its time to check your friend list.
11 Since everything here today might well be gone tomorrow, do you see how essential it is to live a holy life? MSG
This is why we need to be prayed up and ready to go, you (we) never know when the time will come. God help us all to do what your plans are for our life. I want to be ready when those eastern clouds split and i see Jesus coming for his church!

  18. 17 You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing.
18 Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen. (NLT)

Stay strong in The Lord, know the word for yourself and secure yourself in knowledge of His word.

  19. BE VIGILANT, BE SOBER, BE READY!!!

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Eternity is a long time to spend in hell. Now, spending eternity in Heaven is great!!!!! The decision its yours. Stay in His word, follow His Commandments, if you promise God follow through and do it. He is your GOD and LOVES YOU THE MOST.

Matt 25… my bridegroom tarries… will you have enough oil (which is your Holy Ghost) as you await for His return???? or will you be part of the foolish virgins. Just a question. For it is on those decision that eternity is based.

  20. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

We must stand strong in our faith and on the word of God. We must not fall away from the kingdom of God, but rather grow closer to him, and have more understanding of His word!!

  21. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Amen! We do not know the time or the day which The Lord will come but one thing that I’m sure is that he is coming for His people! I used to be scared of death and of His coming but because I didn truly understand what it truly meant. I want to be with Jesus and sing praises to Him all the time and be able to just be in His presence. The devil wants to take us to hell and see us burn with him but my God is better than any trial that we may be going through. See beyond your problems and just PRAISE YOUR WAY OUT 🙂 Jesus is coming for His people!

  22. 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

  23. What a merciful and gracious God!!

8-9 Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. MSG

Our Lord is a gentle Lord. He calls us. He sends people into our lives to compel us but He allows us to decide for ourselves.

Revelation 3:20-21 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

  24. His word is proven, and he keeps his promises, and his word will return void. His WORD, made flesh, has accomplished it all……………at the CROSS!

    “IT IS FINISHED”+++++++++++++++++++++++++

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
    ____________________________________________
Remember, we are the clay he is the Potterer, and we are the workmanship of his hands, and we are to follow him, not ourselves. So, GROW IN HIM……………………….

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

“The Goodness of God, brings a man unto repentance.”

    DAD………..LOVES US……………………………….

  25. v9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The WORD OF GOD is true, and faith in the scriptures will lead us to be ” wise unto salvation”

Our LORD will return just as HE said.
There will Aldo be a day of reckoning, justice, and judgment.

  26. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

    John 6:40 (NIV)
For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

    1 Timothy 2:3-4(KJV)

    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Gods will is for EVERYONE to be saved, to come to the knowledge of who he is, who he has always been, Jesus.

Repentence: changing of ones mind. Let us change our mind about how we treat sin, problems, life, people, God! Ultimately showing fruit in keeping of repentance.
    Matt. 3:8

  27. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

We must be vigilant not to give ear or fall to what this society it teaching. We must continue to be hungry for God’s Word because that will make us grow spiritually with knowledge and there won’t be any moment where the enemy can try to fool us. We must continue to know God more and more.

  28. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We can count on the Lord. He will always be. He will never leave you. He is my everything

  29. Grow In Him

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Growing in Jesus sets us up for stability. The thing about our life in Christ is that similar rules apply as with natural life: if you aren’t growing, you’re dying or dead. There is no coasting or standing still in the Lord; if we aren’t actively growing in Him, we are placing our destination in death.

    John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

  30. Dont pin your hopes for a meaningful life on things which may not exist tomorrow.
    vs-9
WOW what a grat answer for those who always say PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SAYING THE LORD IS COMING BACK SOON AND RIDICULE THE IDEA OF A COMING JUDGMENT DAY.

GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU TO BE SAVED. DELAYIS ANOTHER EVIDENCE OF GODS LOVE.
The reason for what may seem a present delay is that God is keeping the door of repentance open.

  31. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance

God knows what he’s doing, we always say how much he is at work and to be patient when it comes to other people’s problems. Until we are put through the fire, when it is us that has to wait it seems like God missed the perfect time a long time ago. Again I say.. God knows what he is doing. There is a reason we haven’t received what we have been waiting for, there is a reason that loved one isn’t saved YET. Just be patient and know, we serve the author of time and our best intrest is always on his mind

  32. We live in a “give it to me now” culture that is pathological about getting things on demand. Like Burger King “have it your way!” With the click of a mouse, we can access a wealth of information on the internet, and in the matter of seconds, gather thousands of files on every topic imaginable- from A-Z. We want it now, or better yet, yesterday! This generation wants fast information, communucation and service all the while ignoring the path of damage left behind from the rush. In a world stuck in fast foward, God wants us to know that he does not work on our timetable. To Him a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day; which is to say, God’s timing is very much His own. You don’t rush God. Getting in a rush or rushing others, puts us in control, not God. What is “soon” in God’s timing could be very different from ours. Jesus delays for one reason only: He doesn’t want anyone to die in his orher sin (vs9), so in loving patience he gives unbelievers (and control freaks like me) a few more hours, days, weeks, years. Taking time into own hands brings disunity and makes a mess, taking up more time to go back and clean up to move foward. He is at work- on His own schedule. When we humble ourselves and ask for His timetalbe to be our timetable, we will begin ticking to the same ‘tock. Aren’t you glad Jesus didn’t stop the clock while you were still living in sin? I am. We still have time, even though we don’t know how long it may be, to warn others time is ticking!

  33. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God shows us through this scripture that he is not slack or lazy concerning the promises of his coming. Instead he is patient with us and shows us mercy as we strive to meet his expectations and be obedient to Him.

  34. “As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.” The word of God (Jesus) is just that, it is not to be altered to read as one wants. One that will heed and not twist the word of God will be glad on the day of judgement, whereas the opposite is also true. Dear God, give me wisdom to clearly see and obey your word as it is written;

  35. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Verse 1 tells us to stir up our pure minds and remember the words of the prophets- there will be a falling away come before the Lord returns. Remember his promises and his goodness-he has a place prepared and a prize waiting for each one in this race. Endure to the end and escape the things coming to this world. Reach out and pull as many as you can from the fire. MORE crusades!

  36. 2 Peter 3:17
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. (ESV)

We need to he ready for the day of rapture will come to pass. It doesn’t matter how long it takes for God to come. It makes my heart hurt to know that many people I know think that this will never happen because they have been told since they were little that God is coming soon! So they live a lawless wicked lives thinking this will never happen.

    Lord have mercy!!!

  37. 2Pet. 3:4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

It was expected by many, even the apostles, that the Lord was coming back very soon. They expected him to return before he died. Some believers in Thessalonia even quit their jobs in anticipation of the Lords return. So those who didn’t believe saw that the Lord hadn’t come back scoffed at the idea of His return. Peter writes to assure his readers that the delay didn’t not mean Jesus wasn’t coming back. He simply states time in God’s eyes is much different than ours. We are to continue seeking the Lords return. He will come back for his bride.

  38. 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Lord Jesus christ I come humble before you today father, for you are my lord and you are holy above all others and all of the strength that,I need is in your hands, for I say thank you lord for helping me understand your word, for that in the last days there will be people that come out being jeers, mocks and treating someone or something with contempt and calls out in derision, for they will being following their own evil desires!! In Jesus Name Amen !!!

  39. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Peace is the absence of control. It is when we surrender all worry, doubt, stress, and anxiety to God.

Being without spot means holy and separated, without sin.

Blameless means having a good report.

These are three dimensions of relationship. The first pertains to our relationship with God. We need to allow him to be the King of our lives. Things go much smoother when we let him make the decisions and we listen and obey.

The second level is with ourselves. We must not allow compromise to pollute our souls. No one can keep us separated from the world but ourselves. We must choose daily to walk in holiness, and righteousness.

The third level is our relationship with others. We testify and shine as lights even when we don’t say a word. People read us as epistles. We must make sure that we are having genuine love for them and be the example they need to see. Otherwise we could be blamed for leading others astray by our daily conduct.

  40. 17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

We are warned that evil will tempt us and try to get us off track from following the right path that God teaches us.

There is only one God and I am glad to serve him. There is no other God like our God he forgives me when I don’t deserve it. I thank you For undeserved grace Lord. I would be nothing without you.

Evil can creek up if your not right with God. Seek him now and forever.

  41. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

What a great and merciful God we serve. He loves us… A true ax ample of love. Longsufering. Repentance what great gift. That he would allow us to realize and turn away from sin and mistakes. We should not take for granted the grace and the time that God gives… It is his will, desire, that no one should perish, but that all turn away from sin, repent.
Thank you Lord for grace, and your mercies that are new every morning.

  42. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

God sees our beginning and end all at the same time. For God is not governed by time but time is a boundary for man. He sees all of time at the same time. What a mighty God we serve.

  43. Second epistle !!!! 1. THIS second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance; 2 Pet. 1: 13 2. That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Jude 17 3. Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4. And saying , Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. Isa. 5 : 9

  44. 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

One that cannot see the season and what is happening is either alarmingly content or in denial, elsewise the “house of prayer” would be full.

(Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.)

28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Ones most embarrassing moment in life, will not even come close in comparison. Dear God, please forgive me and help me to truly see and hear; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. In God we trust! What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!
