Revelation 16

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

  1. Verse 5 CEV “Then I heard the angel, who has power over water, say, “You have always been, and you always will be the holy God. You had the right to judge in this way.” Malachi 3:6 NLT along with the caption says “A Call to Repentance”
“I am the Lord, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed.” Choose today whom you will serve.

  2. 17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Earthquakes and hail stone the weight of a talent (this talent weights about 200) and these men still blasphemed God. When we read all this we understand why we should live for God while we can.
Nothing that stands against God will survive neither anyone who stands against the Lord. Even the islands and the mountains melted down to the same height as the flat land leaving no place to hid from God. God will even remember the simplest of all deeds we have done in rebellion against him.

  3. iLove to eat more Word

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

We don’t follow miracles but we follow the Word. There are devils that work miracles… We must worship God in spirit and truth in order to escape deception.

  4. What a horrible place to be… “and they repented not to give him glory.”

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

How horrible it would be to be in a relationship with God that you would refuse to repent and ask forgiveness. Could it be from hard-heartedness, stubbornness or just arrogance? Lord, save me from days where I would not turn to you.

  5. “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.” (‭Revelation‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ NLT)
Don’t get so caught up in your problems, keep your eyes focused on the Lord. For he is faithful to His word.

  6. Revelation 16:20
Talks about ilands and mountains not found

so we must have faith to see god or we will be lost so have Faith and Prayers in your life and you won’t be lost form God

  7. Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire. Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory. (‭Revelation‬ ‭16‬:‭8-9‬ NLT)

Some people are so stubborn that they refuse to turn to God in time of trouble. So it becones worse and worse cause they keep on rejecting him. I rather have leave then anything else.

  8. The Thief

    Revelation 16:15 (NASB Strong’s)
15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”)

The word tells us he will come like a thief who comes in the night. This is meant to conjure up the imagery of someone taking by stealth, and not by force. This is secretive. The other meaning of the word thief means an embezzler, pilfererthe name is transferred to false teachers, who do not care to instruct men, but abuse their confidence for their own gain.

Jesus is coming like this to the world. They will be deceived into thinking this a selfish act, and that no one told them. However the word, the spirit, and the church have been telling them.

The passage is interrupted for a plea for mankind to realize that time is running out. Even if there is another 25 years that is still not long at all. We must be ready, and ensure others are ready too.

Stay awake, and keep your clothes on. Clothes of righteousness, praise, and clothed with Christ. So men will not see his shame.

  9. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

We see that throughout the plagues that hearts hardened and people blasphemed God. They repented not. We need a heart of repentance when we make mistakes and when we are faced with consequences.

  10. COMING JUDGEMENT

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

This is the ONE scripture that every unbeliever will regret.

GOD is so merciful to give us a choice in how we choose to live life, either with HIM through serving JESUS and HIS Kingdom through the Church or serving self, working on our own schedule, in our own time, building our own kingdom.

Regardless of which is chosen today, when the command is given for the “wrath of GOD to be poured out on the earth”, will be when it matters most.

I encourage us in every decision to choose JESUS and HIS Kingdom to be counted worthy of escaping this horrible judgement. Regardless of what our past has recorded, through the Blood of JESUS we can be forgiven through a heart of sincere repentance.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  11. 8 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire.
9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. NIV
What does God have to do to us to let us know this world is coming to an end? Some people it doesn’t matter what you do for them or teach them they are not going to listen. I do not want these plagues on me or my family. I want to be ready when i hear that trumpet sound.

  12. 20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Everything done in the dark will come to light soon enough for you can’t hid anything from GOD

  13. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

The coming of the Lord is like a thief in the night. We must be ready at all times. Judgement upon this wicked earth is not going to pleasant and we must prepare ourselves now spiritually so that we do not have to partake of this type judgement.

  14. 15, “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth is garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.”

The scripture tells us that “Blessed” is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments. While we are watching and waiting for the coming of the Lord, because we know that he is going to come “as a thief in the night” and “know man knows the day nor the hour in which He is coming,” we must keep on the garments of praise and righteousness. We cannot afford to be a part of this world, its sins, its lusts, its desires, but we must keep ourselves unspotted from the world. The Lord is coming back for a church “That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27

  15. 7 And I heard a voice from the altar, saying,
“Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty,
your judgments are true and just.”

    True and Just!

  16. Verses 9 & 11 say how there will be people who even after enduring Gods wrath will refuse to turn away from their sinful nature. This is such a shame because there is nothing worth more than an eternity with Christ, there is nothing worth burning in hell for. We must keep our eyes focused on God, stay deep in His word and never exchange a relationship with Him for something or someone else. Fix my eyes on You Lord, You are our first and only true love!

  17. Voice out of the temple !!!! 1. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth Rev. 14 : 10 2. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. Exod. 9 : 9 3. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 8. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. Rev. 8 : 12 10. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 12. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Eu-phra’-tes; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Isa. 41 : 2 17. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

  18. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Oh how sad it is when people won’t turn from there wicked ways even when it will send them to hell. Nothing is worth more than spending eternity with God! And nothing in this world is worth going to hell over. Lord awaken us to the things around us that we do not get so caught up in our ways, and the things of this world that we forget about your will, and the great reward you have waiting for us!!

  19. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

There is coming a day were there will not be repentance in the heart of man. We must be ready for that day.

  20. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

We would be wise to watch and pray. Living our lives always ready for the coming for the Lord. People are watching us no matter what we do, if we are keeping the mind of christ it is less likely that others will see our shame.

  21. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
We need to be worth in Gods eyes! No one else, when it comes to judgment day there is only one judge! If unworthy to God there is only one other way and that way sounds very painful! Dont go for eternal pain but for eternal life with God! 🙂 ❤

  22. 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

When we let the pain and sorrows of our life overtake, it pushes the Holy Spirit out of our lives. And without the Holy Ghost, the conviction starts to dull and go away, we lose the guilt we would have when we do something wrong and sin against God and we keep on doing these sinful things.

So don’t let the pain in your lives overtake you to a place that takes you away from your creator, for as soon as you do that, repentance, prayer, reading the word and other things that become apart of the Holy lifestyle start to drift away. And we now more than ever, want to strive to be closer to God. Let God deal with your pain and your sorrow, don’t keep it to yourself and don’t shut God out, for he promises that he will help you with your burden.

  23. Rev 16:15
15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”)
    (ESV)

We don’t know the time or the place when God is coming. Our job is to be ready and to be pure and holy. We must remember that everything was created for His Glory. We must be ready.

  24. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

We must stay diligent about being easy for His coming will be very soon

  25. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. (‭Revelation‬ ‭16‬:‭5-7‬ KJV)

  26. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
We need to make sure we are always ready for the coming of the lord. He is coming like a theif in the night it would be a shame to have served God all these years and not make it into his kingdom because you were not prepared for whatever reason it may be.. We must be ready at all times cause in a blink of an eye Jesus will come take those that are ready.

  27. We might not understand every word we read in the bible, but it’s still important for us to believe it. The truth will always prevail over every falsedoctrine.

  28. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

God is coming back to meet His bride it is important that we do not walk down the Isle unclothed And dirty. It would be a shame to go to a wedding and the bride was not prepared to marry her groom. It is double shameful for the church to not be prepared.

  29. What is expected?

Rev. 16:15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”)

The language here is reminiscent of Rev 3:3. We would be wise to be on the lookout for Christ’s return. Garments here are expected to be worn.

Matt. 22:12 And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.
Matt. 22:13 Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Wedding garments where expected to be clean and white. To show up in dirty clothes was an insult to the host. The lesson is that, though entry to God’s salvation is free for all, it is not therefore without standards, or to be taken lightly. We are to be righteous and holy. This is done grace, faith, and obedience to the expectation of righteous living. By doing so, we are sins are covered.

The opposite is a life not appropriate as one of God’s people.

  30. 15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Amen blessed am I that I keep my God in my heart all the time. I want to be with him when he takes his people. I have been a Christian for 7 years but not till a year ago I started truly living for God and trusting Him in everything. God is all I have and blessed to have Pastor and First Lady as my leaders because I know they will cut me and direct me to the right path if they see my fading away. GOD IS GOOD!!!

  31. 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

The hardness of a heart and pride will keep people from recognizing and acknowledging God. Sadly that is the case of many. We should pray that God will soften people’s hearts that they may receive the message

  32. v15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is hr that watcheth, and keep his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

LORD , I pray for daily allowment of your SPIRIT renew our minds and help us to refrain from allowing the enemy a place in our lives.
Thank you JESUS for always making a way for your people , by submission to your SPIRIT, and our spiritual covering .
Thank you for your spiritual cleansing and forgiveness, as we become more like you JESUS.

    MORE HOLY GHOST
    MORE OF JESUS

  33. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (‭Revelation‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ KJV)

We must always be ready for Jesus.

  34. Revelation 16:1-14
The plagues of the seven bowls are similar to those of the seven trumpets and to the plagues of Egypt. However, a significant difference exist between the trumpets plagues and the bowl plagues.
The former are limited to a portion of the earth, while the latter appear to be universally destructive. The bowl plagues are God’s response to Satan’s final and greatest effort to overthrow God’s kingdom.

  35. 11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Such a contrast to how we react when things come our way as Christians. I’m not a huge fan of prophecy, but it’s been a interesting journey no doubt. They have been deemed reprobate people that because of the hardness of their hearts curse God for every thing. Most of which in today’s culture are known as athiest.

Use us Lord to be the instruments that you use in these last days to save the lost from the coming wrath.
