Acts 8

1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

8 And there was great joy in that city.

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

24 Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

25 And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

  1. 26. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

    29. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

    39. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

God loved the eunuch and saw that he was willing to receive the Word of God so He sent Philip on a direct mission to preach to one man. God doesn’t change; still today He will direct Pastor or even send an evangelist to reach for one specific person in a service. Don’t be offended if every sermon doesn’t speak to your needs; a soul may be hanging in the balance and someone may be getting their only chance to hear from God. Just remember back to the day that you were that one in the crowd God was reaching for.

  2. No matter that they (believers-followers of Jesus) had been scattered, the Message never stopped! We are all missionaries and we too should share (witness) the Message. Just as Philip got up and went when instructed, we should be so willing and ready. We (POFW) won’t stop till the whole world knows!

  3. 1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

The church was under great persecution, but the Holy Ghost was still falling on people and God was still moving in the lives of people. God wants everyone to have the opportunity to hear the word of the Lord and Phillip gave this Eunuch the message through the word of the Lord.

  4. Acts 8:21 (NASB Strong’s)
21 You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.

    Proverbs 4:23 (KJV Strong’s)
    23 Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.

The heart is the central part of our being. It is the core of who we are. This is our character, personality, will, and soul. We must understand that this is the first step, and the main thing that God looks at.

Our heart is what we will be judged by. Our heart is the motivation behind our works. We will do our deeds but our heart will tell us why we want to do them.

Simon on the outside looked Nobel in that he wanted all to receive the spirit. Yet the apostles looked beyond that into his heart at saw bitterness, and iniquity. He needed to repent.

  5. 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Is I possible that Jesus is allowing anther Saul to attack the US, the world, and it posses as Islamism? We know that there is going to be great revival in the last days, but is this what has to happen for revival to come? We must get busy spreading His Word.

  6. 4, “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”
5, “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.”
25, “Ane they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.”
35, “Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.”

We as christians are all called to be a witness of Jesus Christ.
So, where ever you go today, where ever the Lord directs your steps, be a witness for Jesus and testifiy and share the Good News of the Gospel with someone.

  7. What doth hinder?

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

However, I can remember my baptism. For me, it was an embarrassing moment. While I understood everyone was happy for me, it was a difficult decision for me to make. Not because of unbelief but my own personal issues. I was the center of attention being “dunked” and wet in front of everyone. I can empathize with some people who hesitate when they know and understand baptism in Jesus name is the only way to have it done.

If we are speaking to someone about being baptized and they understand the importance and necessity maybe offer a more private setting; after the crowd has thinned or when most have left the building.

  8. 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

When we make ourselves humble before God, he takes our judgment and our sins and he removes them away. Every day we need to humble ourselves before and ask him to take away our sins as we repent of them. And by repent meaning to turn ourselves completely away from what we were doing before and start living and striving towards God, for he is our salvation.

  9. 9 A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great. 10 Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as “the Great One—the Power of God.” 11 They listened closely to him because for a long time he had astounded them with his magic. 12 But now the people believed Philip’s message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself believed and was baptized. He began following Philip wherever he went, and he was amazed by the signs and great miracles Philip performed.

Even the sorcerer couldn’t deny God’s amazing works and power. Simon knew the power when he saw it and believed and was baptized!

  10. 26 As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him, “Go south down the desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

29 The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.”

What if God gave you these instructions? They’re pretty random to me, “go down this dirt road and then walk next to these strangers,” umm ok? But without hesitation Philip obeyed because He knew where His orders were coming from. Even though he didn’t know the who, what, when, where, why, and how, he went! How do you respond when the spirit moves to use you? “Not now Jesus, maybe later.. Let me see if I can pencil you in, how does this time sound?” Once we start asking questions and making excuses our opportunity is missed, that soul God was reaching for has moved on, and only the Lord knows if they will get another chance to hear His word.

Trust God and allow Him to use you as a willing vessel that will go and do as He commands. Forgive us, me, Lord for ever moving past an opportunity to save a soul, for being so selfish of my time. Use POFW, use Your people to reach this city Lord, in the Name of Jesus.

  11. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

It is a Joy that the world can not give nor take it away. The JOY of the Holy Ghost. That is why once you get it you want it MORE AND MORE.

  12. iLove to eat more Word

6 Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did.

The gifts of the Spirit were in operation through Philip as he preached to the Samaritans and the crowds were listening intently to his message because of those signs. I truly believe that the Lord is about to bless The Pentecostals of Fort Worth with a wide variety of the gifts of the Spirit. This will cause more folks from the surrounding region to slow down enough to actually listen to the message of the Gospel.

  13. MORE OPPORTUNITIES

Intriquging to me the plan of GOD for his gospel. Persecution against the church presented MORE OPPORTUNITIES. Verse 1 reveals to us that all scattered “except the Apostles” which indicates the commitment of the founders. Verse 4 reveals that those that left were preaching the WORD everywhere. Verse 5 introduces an evangelist named Philip preaching Christ with miracles, signs and conversions following.

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

We green from this passage the importance of strong men of GOD remaining to protect the foundation (modern time Pastor) and the importance of those that go abroad (modern day Evangelists and Missionaries).

Lets GO preach HIS gospel in JESUS name.

  14. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

We as Christians we’re called to preach God’s word across the nations, to be witnesses for him! We were called to build our faith up in his word so that God can give miracles through us and our prayers. It is up to us to answer his call and obey his word!!

  15. 9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

We cannot hide the intentions of our actions or the motives of ourbhearts. The Word says “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” even if we have man fooled, we cannot fool God he knows our hearts and calls us to repentance when our intentions and ambitions are selfish.

  16. 6 Crowds listened intently to Philip because they were eager to hear his message and see the miraculous signs he did.

So many are hungry for the Word of God, but hesitate to go to church. Why? Pride, shame, unforgiveness, rebellious attitude, what ever the reason, they hesitate. Once the get to church especially POFW, they immediately feel something. The Holy Spirit speaking to them, they start to get eager to hear the Word. Little by little their walls began to fall, and they realize and feel the presence of the Lord.

  17. Some people are crazy. Their mindset in the church are not right… They do ministry for only sertain things. People do it for certain people. Some to impress others. Some to only get recognition and fame. Some to only please others.

But we can’t live our lives like that we can’t be an example of Jesus christ when all we really want to do is have others see ME. ministry is for his glory and to build his kingdom.
It’s also my salvation. Why would I want to risk being fake and doing it for otger people. They can’t save me. Or wash away my sins. I do ministry for JESUS. you can Miss me with ThAT!

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. (‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭20-22‬ KJV)

    Read Proverbs Chapter 29

We sometimes may not know the plans that God has for us. Or what the enemy may try to use for harm, the Lord can marvelously use it for good. A great example here, what the enemy attempted to do, which was stop them from preaching. So the persecution turned into major broader evangelism. Because of this persecution the gospel was spread all around. In the end God will always get the glory.

  19. Deserts & Obscurity

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

Walking with God almost invariably involves desert seasons and places of obscurity. But the place we may want to resist or only go begrudgingly could be an particular opportunity to reach a soul. No matter what we go through or the circumstances, we must be ready for a divine encounter with God’s will.

    Exodus 3:1-3
1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

  20. Act 8:35-39
35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus. 36 And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” 38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him.
    (ESV)

The reason we need to to know Him and His Word it’s so everywhere we go, we can open our mouth and preach His plan of Salvation. We must share “IT” and what it’s done in our lives to those that are lost and are in need of Him. We have to reach them
so they also can be saved.

  21. In this below listed verse, displays the power of transformation in the hand of an Almighty God. This man was into witchcraft/sorcery, and had an entire town bewitched, and then one day a “PREACHER” came to town. And……Whamo…a changed man, but there was still finished work to be done. But, you have to get the rest of the story with Peter & John.

9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
    ______________________________________________________________
In who’s name? Also, in furtherance of the above observation you see Simon was impressed with the miracles, but needed to be adjusted a bit. But, Simon believed and was baptized in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ.

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
    ______________________________________________________________
Simon’s motivation was exposed later, because he wanted to possess the power to lay hands on people and they receive the Holy Ghost. But, Peter saw right through this and convicted him of this, and chastised him and told him basically it’s not for sell and to get his heart right with God.

20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
    _______________________________________________________________
This is what it is all about, coverting souls to Jesus Christ, “Newborns”……..believe with all thine heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and be baptized, in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

    “I Believe”……………………………………………………………………………………

  22. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

The joy of Lord is something we should all long to have. It’s that joy thst allows us to be happy even when things around us is in total chaos. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

  23. Why would a Ethiopian go to Jerusalem to worship??

In my quest to answer this question I read that some Ethiopians or Old Testament are called Chusheans who lived in upper Ethiopia and extended into Asia. They where also decedents of Ham by his son Cush. They would make a yearly travel to Jerusalem to worship the God of Israel. At this point my mouth was opened wide. This Ethiopian eunuch probably had ancestors that saw the works of the God of Israel and had desired to know more about Him. In there desire they passed it from generation to generation all following the same tradition to go yearly and worship in Jerusalem.

So, not only was he desperate to know more about the God of Israel but he was taught to desire more. He went to worship as a tradition but on his way back home to his responsibilities His eyes would be opened to what all those before him had longed to know. “Who is the God of Israel, and what must I do?” So Phillip preach Jesus to him and they carried on. They saw water and the eunuch was so desperate he asked to be baptized.

I know that there are many people in this region and all around the world that have heard stories about miracles, signs, and wonders form there parents and grandparents and deep down inside they want to know more. It is our responsibility to be ready when they are on their desperate search to find Him. We are to show them by opening the scripture to them in a light that is loving and compelling. All we have to do is preach JESUS!

  24. 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

    A testimony to remember.

We all have a testimony. Some filled with grief others with shame and hurt. But those are the tests in the testimonies. Thank you Jesus that we all have our testimonies.

  25. v4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

Let’s keep spreading HIS GOSPEL. GOD WILL turn the negative situations into opportunities with positive conclusions.

  26. 2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

God used the stoning of Stephen and the havoc that Saul was creating to bring great revival. What situations can God use that we are dealing with to being great revival in our family? Pour Church?

We have to asked ourselves these questions about every current situation instead of complaining and asking why, We mus allow God to use us regardless of how He chooses to use us for the Kingdom sake.

  27. 38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
The wisdom of God given to us is worthy of rejoicing.

  28. “Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.” The Creator (Jesus) knows one’s heart, which one can also, if one will truly seek him. Dear God, let me see my heart as you do, so that I can be right in your sight; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. In God we trust! What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  29. Bye Bye Acts 8:37

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

If you read the ESV, you will notice that Acts 8:37 is not listed. This is because this verse was not written by Luke. It is an interpolation (an addition after the original). The NET Bible inserts the follow note after verse 36 “A few later MSS (E 36 323 453 945 1739 1891 pc) add, with minor variations, 8:37 “He said to him, ‘If you believe with your whole heart, you may.’ He replied, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’” Verse 37 is lacking in {P ℵ A B C 33 614 vg sy co} <—(((these are different manuscript names))). It is clearly not a part of the original text of Acts. The variant is significant in showing how some in the early church viewed a confession of faith. The present translation follows NA in omitting the verse number, a procedure also followed by a number of other modern translations."

So bye bye to this verse. It is not canonical.

  30. they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Simon didnt comprehend what the holy Ghost was he thought ut was some kind of gift or talent that you can buy and then miraculously recieve it too. You cant buy the holy Ghost but the Holy Ghost is for everyone, but you must repent of all your sins to recieve it!!

  31. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. (‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭26-39‬ KJV)

  32. Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭8‬:‭22‬ NLT)

For Peter’s response to simeon was that simeon had neither part nor portion in this matter, for his heart is not right in the sight of God,for simeon as not a true convert with rep

  33. Repentance and sincere faith, for we should always pray, for repentance, for whatever we did wrong in our eyes, for it is wrong in gods eyes and he doesn’t accept it,for we should ask god if he can forgive us,for what we did that was wrong in our eyes, for whatever it was if it was wickedness we should always pray to our lord, for we know that he will always forgive his children and perhaps God will forgive us,for our evil and negative thoughts that that we think of everyday, for our minds should be focused on the word of God and not evil and wickedness things that go on in this world, for we should be doing what God would want us to do,for him because our purpose is to obey Gods word and his commands!!! In Jesus Name Amen!!!!

Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (‭John‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ KJV)

  34. 4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

You do it my way or the highway!

We do the work God has given us with in our comfort zone. When the apostoles were told to preach the gospel to all flesh, they hesitated and just stayed out and had church. God had to send Saul to persecuted the church to get them to scatter abroad and perch the gospel. Without persecution they would no other wise have scattered. That’s what God does sometimes, we need a little persecution and hardship to really start doing what God intended for us to do.

  35. Persecution

The martyrdom of Stephen brings about a wave of persecution against against the church. This erruption of conflict drives the Christians out of Jerusalem into Judea and Samaria. Look closely at what happens: “Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went” (vs4). The early church could easily have become discouraged. Instead, they are driven out of their homes by their hardships, forced to settle in unfamiliar places, and react by spreading the gospel wherever they go.

Luke, the author of both the Gospel of Luke and the book of Acts, pin-points here this persecution (Acts 11:19-21). He looks back and sees the persecution and death of Stephen as if a catalyst for the spreading of the gospel. Stephen’s passion is to see the Good News of Jesus Christ spread to the ends of the earth. His passion is accomplished through both his life and death.

  36. Persecution against the Church !!!! 1. AND Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Je-ru’-sa-lem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Ju-dae’-a and Sa-ma’-ri-a, except the apostles. Acts 7 : 58 3. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Acts 7 : 58 Glory to God !!!! You are high and lifted up !!!!
