Acts 4

1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

  1. 14. then they turned their attention to the third man standing beside them-recently lame, now standing tall and healthy. What could they say in response to all this? Voice

When you stop living your old lifestyle and begin living for God, people may talk and ridicule your decisions and new direction. However, just like when they saw this man’s healing, when people see all the benefits and blessings you begin to reap, what can they say? They will have nothing left to ridicule and will realize you have made the best decision of your life. So hang in there and don’t let the talk discourage you, but keep sharing your testimony, you’re in good company.

  2. The beginning of the chapter continues to talk about the miracle of the healing of the lame man. You just can’t argue with a miracle as the chief of the Temple police, some Sadducees, the rulers, religious leaders, and religion scholars found out.

The end of verses 8-12 MSG says its all in the NAME……..JESUS! “…..By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the One you killed on a cross, the One God raised from the dead, by means of his name this man stands before you healthy and whole. Jesus is ‘the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.’ Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.” No other name I know!

  3. 6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

    9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

Peter took this occasion to testify to the high priest about Jesus Christ and to let them know that they had turned away the messiah. We should always be able to answer to an man why we follow after Jesus Christ.

    1 Peter 3:15

15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

  4. Isn’t it odd how accusers generally need support? Here the priests, the chief of the Temple police, and some Sadducees did not feel confident enough to prosecute Peter and John. They included in their gang of thugs rulers, religious leaders, religion scholars, Annas the Chief Priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander—everybody who was anybody was there. I consider this behavior mobbing. Wikipedia describes mobbing as; “an assemblage of individuals around a potentially dangerous predator”. Were Peter and John dangerous predators? Yes, to the old dogmatic way of thinking and not allowing even the slightest possibility that Jesus is the Messiah.

People have a basic psychological need to feel closely connected to others, and belonging to the majority; it is a major part of human behavior. There are those who can break this basic human need and stand for something new and claim Jesus is the Messiah. Others need the reassurance of the crowd to know what is right and be comfortable in simply being human.

  5. iLove to eat More Word

you spoke long ago by the Holy Spirit through our ancestor David, your servant, saying, ‘Why were the nations so angry? Why did they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepared for battle; the rulers gathered together against the LORD and against his Messiah.’ (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4‬:‭25-26‬ NLT)

The fact of the matter is, the world and its system has always opposed God and his system. These scriptures should always encourage us that we’re going through the same things that our brothers of old went through.
Our new building will be built and we will have great revival in spite of persecution. Thank you Jesus for the favor that you have shown the Pentecostals a Fort Worth.

  6. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus is the cornerstone for our lives! By no other rock shall we build our house and our faith than the name of Jesus, just as a song says, any other ground is sinking sand.

Psalms 118:21-24 I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing, it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

  7. No other name!!!

With that, Peter, full of the Holy Spirit, let loose: “Rulers and leaders of the people, if we have been brought to trial today for helping a sick man, put under investigation regarding this healing, I’ll be completely frank with you—we have nothing to hide. By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the One you killed on a cross, the One God raised from the dead, by means of his name this man stands before you healthy and whole. Jesus is ‘the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.’ Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one.” (‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭8-12‬ MSG)

No other name that I know… Jesus!!!

  8. MORE JESUS NAME

Suffering, Healing, Salvation are all administered in the name of JESUS. We painfully witness the horrific crucificition of JESUS our LORD, understanding that HIS purpose was to become cruel sin so that man would have opportunity to experience salvation through JESUS and be free from sin.

The disciples of JESUS so clearly explain in this passage, how eternally important the name of JESUS is. His own resurrection is testimony enough of HIS great grace and power. However we are promised physical healing and salvation through the name of JESUS.

I am committed to MORE JESUS NAME in everything that I engage in or become involved in. Speak the NAME of JESUS often and everywhere.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  9. This is a great oness scripture the only way that there is power is JESUS NAME.

    vs-12
There is salvation in no one ealse under all heaven there is no other name for man to call upon to save them.

  10. 31 While they were praying, the place where they were meeting trembled and shook. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak God’s Word with fearless confidence. (MSG)

The Same Spirit from Pentecost Sunday is the Same Spirit found in this scripture as well as in our own prayer meetings. I am thankful for the a God that is same yesterday, today and forever more!

2 1-4 When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.(MSG)

  11. 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

The very first thing they did upon receiving contrary news was to take it to God in prayer. They immediately lifted their petition in prayer. There was no wailing, no self pity, they didn’t try to make plans around the threat, and they didn’t stop. They prayed. We need to get in the habit to do the same. Our first reflex should be to take anything to our father.

  12. He made the difference!!

14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

When there is undeniable proof of change, people often look for the reason why the change happened, was it a trick? Most would argue there has to be some scientific reasoning. But oh are they so wrong, that is, until we are able to explain the greatness of Jesus and the power of His name.

It doesn’t have to be a physical change like his man who was once a beggar to get people to notice. When we receive the greatest miracle of all, which is the Holy Ghost and salvation by the Name of Jesus, there should be a drastic change in how we walk and talk, in our attitude, in the way we act and places we go and things we do. When people see that you have changed they too will want an explanation as to the sudden joy and peace you have. This then is your moment to testify of how God and God alone has made the difference in your life!

  13. IF I CAN NOT SPEAK ABOUT JESUS LET ME NOT SPEAK AT ALL!!!!!

Jeremiah 20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

HIS WORD IS ALIVE IN ME, IN YOU, AND THERE ARE SO MANY JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO SHARE WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU. There is no better way to strengthen your fellow man that to share your testimony and let him know that the same God that did it for you, WILL DO IT FOR HIM.

  14. Acts 4:18 Then Peter filled with the Holy Spirit said to them Rulers and elders of the people if we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a man who was lame and are being asked how he was healed. Then know this you and all people of Israel. It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is the stone you builders rejected. Which has become the cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

  15. 2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

    Teach More

The question came up about “through Jesus the resurrection from the dead, ” that if they through this, where did they start? Why were the Sadducees and so many others distraught?

When we were learning about teaching His Word, Bro Cornwell told us, that we must first establish “common ground”, or at least find a starting point where we all can agree, and to build from there. Maybe, just maybe, that’s what happened here. If the Apostles taught the Old testament, or the Law of Moses, or about the Prophets, the Sadducees would have had nothing to argue about. When the Apostles begin to teach about Jesus being both Lord and Savior, having raised from the dead, they would have “Kicked a hornets nest, ” as it was the leaders of the church that paid the guards to not tell anyone that Jess had rose from the dead.

Maybe as we teach, we too should follow suit, and start on “common ground”, and build from there. Maybe we too might see the church explode as they did in the book of Acts.

  16. 29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, (ESV) Acts 4:29

Boldness means: not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger or rebuff; courageous and daring.
To speak the truth takes boldness because you will encounter those that don’t like to hear the truth that the word of God teaches. Yes we will be threatened, ridiculed, hated, but the Holy Spirit will give us the courage and strength to continue to speak and not be fearful.

  17. 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

If we bind together as one in prayer, we will begin to see a mighty move of God!

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭20‬ KJV)

  18. 7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

    9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Jesus does not only heal, he makes things whole. As if they had never been broken in the first place..

  19. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

His name is Jesus. Ruler and creator of this world. He is s provider and a father. He is all things. He is my God.

  20. Acts 4:17-21
17, But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18, And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19, But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to harken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20, For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21, So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

A threat is a statement or expression of intention to hurt, destroy, punish, etc., as in retaliation or intimidation.
Intimidate means to force or deter with threats or violence.

The council was threatening Peter and John and trying to make them feel afraid and intimidated, so that, they wouldn’t speak or teach in the Name of JESUS anymore. They were not afraid nor intimidated by these threats, but said that they could only speak those things which they had seen and heard.

Pastor has taught us on our Prayer Walk downtown, that the panther represents intimidation, and we have prayed against this spirit.
We know that 1 Timothy 1:7-8a says, “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord…”
The Holy Ghost, JESUS, has given us Boldness and Power to teach, speak, and testify of the things which we have seen and heard.

Thank You JESUS for Holy Ghost Power!!!

  21. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Amen! The name of Jesus is the only one name that can do anything an everything. The only name that we can be saved, healings be made , signs and wonders be done, recieve power when we speak in tongues, and for people to convert to the truth:) The name of Jesus is the ONLY name!!!!

“If you want it, you can have it” -Pastor Watts

  22. 3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.
We will be persecuted and those who oppose us will try to knock us down. None of it matters though because through it all, God still gets the glory!
Philippians 1:18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice

  23. 2 These leaders were very disturbed that Peter and John were teaching the people that through Jesus there is a resurrection of the dead.

The concept of Christianity. So many find it hard to believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Many have experienced near death and have testified about it afterwards, and people will believe them. The difference is that Jesus foretold his death and resurrection in 3 days. Now no one can make that claim, only Jesus can. There were hundreds of witnesses who saw Jesus after his crucifixion and still people do no want to believe. Why be disturbed, and just believe Jesus rose from the dead. Instead others choose to follow prophets who never performed miracles, and died and never resurrected. I choose to follow the one who’s blood covers my sins, and who resurrected from the dead.

  24. 7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

“By what power” well by the Name of JESUS which has all power. He made all things so He is the source of the power.

  25. 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Being filled with the Holy Ghost will change you. It will give you boldness and help you to move forward in God’s plan. After praying, the bible says the place was shaken. Praying gets God’s attention and causes the atmosphere to shift.

  26. 13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

This scripture continues to encourage me because of something that happened along time ago. When I was 13 years old I felt the Lord call me to go to Bible School, but soon after that my life was flipped upside down. When I would look back at that time in my life I would be discouraged and wonder if I missed it. Now the Lord is calling me to be with him. If I could just know him it would be the greatest class, teaching, knowledge or relationship I could ever gain. If I could just be with him! Today unless something drastic changes in our lives I will never go to Bible School but I am more than happy with being unlearned of the theology but to know and be with the Lord. If at my funeral they would say that I didn’t know everything but they knew I was with Jesus, that would be great with me.

  27. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

    Basic Truth
Jesus is who they are talking about here. It is by JESUS that we are healed. It is by JESUS that we are mane whole. He is the only name that has all power.

  28. 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
The power of prayer things happen when you go before God boldly. Prayer changes things !!

  29. “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” They were initially looking at them with carnal eyes and seen them as uneducated, until they seen their confidence in God (Jesus). One should strive for knowledge and education, however one should all the more seek to be with the Lord (Jesus). Dear God, grant me wisdom of you first and foremost; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. In God we trust! What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  30. Can’t shut up about it

    Acts 4:20 (NETFull)
20 for it is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard.”

    Acts 4:20 (AMP)
20 But we [ourselves] cannot help telling what we have seen and heard

    Acts 4:20 (Message)
20 As for us, there’s no question—we can’t keep quiet about what we’ve seen and heard.”

The disciples stood accused of doing a good deed but through the wrong means. They combatted by saying they will follow the Lord and that this was done in Jesus name. However when challenged to not speak they boldly proclaimed “NO We cannot shut up about it!”

There are experiences with God that take our breath away and then there are others that we cant help but tell about. This telling is what draws people to him. Today I had the opportunity to share my testimony and not only could I feel God but I felt great doing it. I can’t shut up about what God has delivered me from and I look forward to where he is taking me.

I can’t shut up about it!

  31. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Jesus must be the foundation for our lives. He is the one that can hold it all together. With out Him we cannot stand any storm or wind. We must sat firm on the foundation of the Word, of God. You can build anything and become anything if you have Jesus as your corner stone, that foundation that hold you and everything else around you in place.

  32. “What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it. But to keep them from spreading their propaganda any further, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in Jesus’ name again.” (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4‬:‭16-17‬ NLT)

These people had no way of denying the miracle God had placed before them so they retaliated to “if we don’t speak about it and ignore it then maybe it’ll go away”. NEWS FLASH! Jesus ain’t goin no where. You’re a fool to think Jesus will not be spoken of. We should be sharing with everyone the amazing things God has done and ignore the foolishness of others. Jesus lives! Jesus is amazing! Jesus is forever!

  33. By the Name !!!! 8. Then Pe’-ter, filled with the Ho’-ly Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Is’-ra-el, 9. If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; 10. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Is’-ra-el, that by the name of Je’-sus Christ of Naz’-a-reth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Ps. 118 : 22; Matt. 21 : 42 12. Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. I Love you Jesus !!!! I Praise your name !!!!

  34. 14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

When a miracle is standing right in front of you, it’s hard to discount what happened. We need to take time in daily life to recognize the “miracles” that God has placed in our life. We get so busy and caught up with living life that we forget to enjoy the blessings of God, and recognize all He does for us. We can’t discount the small things, because if we take the small things for granted we may never see the big things. Dream big, expect big, but be thankful for every miracle along the way until you see the BIG come to pass.

  35. 13When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus. 14But since they could see the man who had been healed standing there with them, there was nothing they could say.

Peter and John may have been ordinary men but they recognized that these men had been with Jesus. We have to be careful the company we keep, they were in the company of the King of Kings. John was by Jesus’ side during his ministry and crucifixion, Paul on the other hand was from the other side of the tracks. Paul was accounted by the religious leaders as “had been with Jesus” (vs13) because he walks with Him. We can see here that they have underestimated John and Peter counting them as unschooled, and ordinary. Paul was raised a Pharisee, fluent in the law and practices of the religious leaders. He is no longer recognized for his past accomplishments, but instead for a humbling message. They proved themselved to be 2Tim 2 men of God “15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” God will make the lowly to rise up and become great in his eyes. We have the trust in the Lord as the Apostles did and “lean not onto our own understading.” (Prv 3:5)

  36. Textual Criticism

    Acts 4:24
Δέσποτα σὺ ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν

And when they heard it, they lifted their voices with one mind to God and said, “Master, you are the one who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them,

Many early manuscripts have “Master, you are the one who made the heaven,” but some early manuscripts and related later witnesses have “Master, you are God, who made the heaven.” One manuscript has “Master, you are Lord God who made the heaven.” All variations refer to the same entity, so the only difference involves the referring expression, “the one”, “God” or “Lord God.”

  37. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. (‭Acts‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ESV)

People around us will recognize if we have been with Jesus. They can tell by the fruit that we display. We are seen and read all men. We lead at all times.

  38. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ NLT)

Nor is there salvation that was other ,Peter didn’t merely proclaim that Jesus was the only way of salvation, but as the only way of salvation. The idea that was there is no salvation in any other, and that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved in hard to accept for many, but is plainly stated. In Jesus Name Amen!!!
