Acts 19

1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

7 And all the men were about twelve.

8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

17 And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

22 So he sent into Macedonia two of them that ministered unto him, Timotheus and Erastus; but he himself stayed in Asia for a season.

23 And the same time there arose no small stir about that way.

24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.

26 Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:

27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.

30 And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not.

31 And certain of the chief of Asia, which were his friends, sent unto him, desiring him that he would not adventure himself into the theatre.

32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.

34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?

36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.

37 For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.

38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.

39 But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.

40 For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.

41 And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.

  1. Verses 1-2 MSG “Now, it happened that while Apollos was away in Corinth, Paul made his way down through the mountains, came to Ephesus, and happened on some disciples there. The first thing he said was, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? Did you take God into your mind only, or did you also embrace him with your heart? Did he get inside you?” Taking on the name of Jesus in every aspect of your life is revealed from the inside out. Many want to take this part on; but, not the other. Many do not understand or have never heard of IT; but, somehow know that something is missing in their lives……that is Jesus.

  2. God did powerful things through Paul, things quite out of the ordinary. The word got around and people started taking pieces of clothing—handkerchiefs and scarves and the like—that had touched Paul’s skin and then touching the sick with them. The touch did it—they were healed and whole. (‭Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭11-12‬ MSG)

….Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith The Lord of host.

There is nothing that man can do. We are just vessels that The Lord desires to show the power of His Spirit!!

  3. 2 Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

These is the case today, so many have heard of the Holy Spirit but have never experienced the filling of the spirit. Even as believers we are to ask newcomers this question. Receiving the Holy Spirit is having a deeper relationship with God, and the greatest feeling one will have!

  4. 1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

The Holy Ghost has now fallen on another group of people, because of the preaching of Paul. There is no greater joy to any minister than to see people respond to his preaching by recieving the Holy Ghost.

  5. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

ALWAYS AND FOREVER AND EVER WILL MY GOD PREVAIL!!!
The Word says ,we are overcomers by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND by the WORD of our testimony!!!
If we are not telling everyone about JESUS , then we have COMPLETELY missed it!!!

JESUS!!! HELP US DADDY, HELP US BE BOLD ENOUGH TO SPEAK EVEN WHEN OUR FLESH DOESN’T WANT US TO

  6. The numbers could be thousands, hundreds, and sometime just twelve. The importance is the SALVATION OF THE SOUL.

    1. Things that Sis. Gwen Porche, Bro. Michael Bowers and Sis Anne Bowers taught me was that was first to listen to the Holy Ghost, for you will feel a pull towards a specific person, 2. Always get their names and contact for that way you could build a rapport with them. 3. It is as simple as written in this scripture: Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? 4. Luke 15:7 I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don’t need repentance.
    5. Pray for them even if they don’t visit, pray Lord soften their heart so they can feel Your Spirit calling them. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
    EVERY SINGLE ONE COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!

  7. No great thoughts of wisdom, deep interpretations or world changing insights this morning…
I did however wake up with the following on my heart:
Who is like You, Lord in all the earth
Who can compare to Your great worth
Worthy of all praise, matchless is Your name
I’ll sing a song of Your great name

    Forever I will praise You
I will lift my hands and praise You
For there is nobody like You
No one else deserves the praise like You do

Who is like You Lord, in all the earth
No one can compare to Your great worth

  8. 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Many people believe that Jesus is the Lord, but they do not understand that there is more to salvation than that. It is up to us to explain the way more clearly as Paul did and convince them that the Holy Ghost is real and you will know by the evidence of tongues that He has come to dwell within you.

  9. NO CHEAP IMITATIONS

Many have attempted to imitate the works of GOD. Even more have attempted to imitate the presence of GOD. The REAL questions remain:

    1. Does JESUS know my name? Have you been Born AGAIN of water and Spirit?
    2. Does the aversary know my name? Are evil spirits subject to us through the name of JESUS?
    3. Are miracles happening around us?
    4. Are unbelievers being converted to JESUS?

We may possibly fool people occasionally with our speech and presentation. However the spirit world is not fooled. Even the evil spirits know who has the POWER of GOD.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  10. 24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;

28 And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

The silversmiths were really concerned about their profit. Had Jesus been another idol that they could have crafted then I doubt they would have caused any trouble since their gain would have likely increased. The mention of Diana and the religion seemed to be an afterthought to help further their agenda and pull people to their side. The love of money they had outweighed any desire to hear the truth. These men’s love of money could have ended disastrously for the Christians. Thankfully it didn’t but we can see that everyone was confused and things could have gotten even more so out of hand than they did.

  11. iLove to eat More Word

God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles.

The story of what happened spread quickly all through Ephesus, to Jews and Greeks alike. A solemn fear descended on the city, and the name of the Lord Jesus was greatly honored. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭19‬:‭11, 17‬ NLT)

Time and time again we see when a big event happens, or when judgment happens, there is great fear that falls upon the people. This fear then glorifies the Lord. It’s not a fear of man or the enemy, but it is a great fear of the Lord. This is not a fear that separates, but it is a fear that brings respect and honor to the King of Kings and Lord of but it is a great fear of the Lord. It is a fear that brings respect and honor to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

We glorify and honor the Lord when we fear him. The Lord loves to be honored.

Proverbs 8:13 13 All who fear the LORD will hate evil.
Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance,
    corruption and perverse speech.

  12. 3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  13. 8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

It is not wise to be in company with people that are disgruntled, deceived and contentious. We are influenced by those around us, and if there are those with negative attitudes eventually that will rub off on us. It is better to separate from those, than to become of the same attitude and spirit.

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

We must do our part to bring peace and live in peace so that the Spirit of the Lord within us can be reflected. Many people are one way at home and another in public. The greatest messages we preach are to those in our home because we have to be genuine and real with everyone, especially those that matter the most to us.

  14. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Their are special miracles in the church to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits. When the women with the issue of blood tocuhed the hem of Jesus’ garmet she became whole. Why? Because she believed she could be healed and was bold enough to step out. Jesus said that she recieved her healing because of her faith . A piece of cloth without faith is just another piece of fabric, just like a nonbeliever trying to cast out a evil spirit with the name of Jesus they don’t follow.

  15. 19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.

Fire. It can mold and transform you into something you would have never imagined, Thank God for the trials.

  16. For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.

    Being found blameless.

Can we say this? Can we say that we can be found blameless? We must look in ourselves and evaluate. Evaluate yourself with the word of God. Are we doing what is parallel with it? This is what we will all be judged on.

  17. 15 But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” (NLT)

As a younger cousin of mine used to say, “awkwaaaaaard…” Does the adversary know who you are??

  18. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

God has given us all our own special gifts.
Be bold, and use them for the Kingdom of God.

  19. vss.5,6 & 11. When they heard this , they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

And Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues and prophesied.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

Praise GOD!!! By this same Power that was poured out at Pentecost then years and years later fell at Cornelius’s household baptized them with the Holy Ghost. Peter said, ” they had received the Holy Ghost as we did on the day of Pentecost”

Thank you JESUS this gift of The Holy Ghost is still available today. GOD IS NO RESPECTER of persons.
“HE WILL POUR OUT HIS SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH”
    Joel 2-28

As in Sunday night service GOD has given us HIS SPIRIT POWER and Anointing. When we pray we should except special miracles, healings ,
because GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN US than he that is in the world….. JESUS SAID we would do greater works and signs and wonders would follow us.
    PRAISE GOD !!!!

    MORE POWER

  20. Acts 19:5
Talks about where you must be babtized in the lord jesus christ to be saved to go to heaven AMEN

  21. Acts 19:26
“Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands.”

Ps.135:15, “The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.”
1 Cor. 8:4b, “… we know that an idol is nothing in this world, and that there is none other God but one.”
1 Kings 8:60, “That all the people of the earth may know that the Lord is God, and that there is none else.”

So thankful to know the ONE True God, and JESUS is His Name!
This made me think of a chorus to a song…
I’m a Pentecostal, and I am not ashamed
Just read the book of Acts
    We are still the same
    We worship only One God
    And Jesus is His Name
We are Apostolic in every way

  22. Hear, Obey, and be faithful

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

It grieves me to say that many will hear the Word, some will obey the Word, and few will be faithful to the Words they hear and have obeyed in the past. Even I have found this to be true in areas of my life. Where I just hear or hear and obey. Yet, I feel a call from God to stay faithful. I am reminded of the 10 virgins. They knew He was going to come yet half of them where not ready. When He comes back for His bride I want to be found among those that are faithfully replenishing the oil in their lamps. On Sunday night I talked about Arise and Shine. We must have oil in our lamps so that we will faithfully shine before all the World to see our good works and Glorify God. (Matthew 5:16) We are to SHINE not to put on a show but to draw others attention to the source of our light, JESUS CHRIST.

    Ephesians 5:14-15
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise

Men and Women of God let’s join together and be “wise” by walking upright before God and being Apostolic! I join the challenge of being faithful and the more people that will join the challenge the more illuminating we will become. Together we can light up a dark world.

    LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE!

    #MOREFAITHFULNESS

  23. Acts 19:17 (Modern English Version)
17 This became known to all Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus. And fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Go ahead devil beat them up. Isn’t it amazing that these boys who tried to use the name without a relationship with the one who had the name were attacked by the enemy like it was open season. They tore them up until they were naked, wounded, embarrassed, and probably screaming.

The enemy put a tick mark on his wall of victories, and seven boys questioned what they had done.

However the attack from the enemy on these itinerant exorcists caused two unintended side effects.

First fear fell on all the people. A reverence for God and the things of God. Second the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified. So much that people involved with witchcraft turned in their sorcery cards and went with the real deal.

Even if the enemy attacks God will still turn it around and get the glory.

  24. 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Conviction hit my heart when i read this today because there are so many people that need the word of God. That need the power of the Holy Ghost to overcome sin. And i pray that you will bless us with the boldness, the wisdom and knowledge. To reach out to this lost an dying world.
Paul didnt wait to get to know them he took no time for idol chit chat. Straight to the point. He had a mission an wasnt gonna waste time. Love it ! God help us.

  25. Got to have him, and this supports all the preaching that Pastor has been preaching all along. Repentance, Baptism in Water, Baptism in the Holy Ghost, Speaking in Tongues, especially being baptized in Jesus name, Amen…………………………….

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

    “Prophesied”
    __________________________________________________________
Can’t fool God, and looks like here. You can’t fool the devil either! Either your an Anointed or not! Can’t fake the funk when it comes to God’s work! Got to be called…

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

    “Be Strong”……………………………………………………………

  26. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

This is just more evidence of how powerful our God is and that everything that we do, He should be the one leading us to do it. If we do things out of our own will and strength we can get burned, because the only thing that the devil respects and knows is the name of JESUS!

  27. I pray and thank the Lord for sending Paul to talk to people that the Lord wanted him to talk to.

Without apostles prophets pastors teachers evangelists I think I would be lost. Thankyou Lord for the Holy Ghost…so Jesus, you can talk to me.
    Bless you Lord.

  28. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

God is glorified in ALL things that happen on Earth. His goodness will be shown in every corner!

  29. “And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.” The striping and wounding is not always outward, as one can also be striped and wounded internally. The deceiver (satan) will always strip and wound, whereas the Lord (Jesus) will always clothe and heal. Dear God, let me not become blind or deaf but let me see and hear more of you; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. “In God we trust”. “One nation under God”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  30. 32 Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was confused: and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.

One of the tricks of the enemy is to sow confusion in the people and this rob the message from their hearts. The enemy will want you to question the word and lie to you about the truth. There is only one truth his name is Jesus. He is the way the truth and the life. Let’s keep on sharing the truth of the gospel of Jesus and the plan of salvation. There is no other way to make it to heaven; you must be born again of the water, baptism in Jesus, and of the Spirit.

  31. 1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

This is what the world so desperately needs. But they also need the willingness to hear the word of God and then believe like these 12 did. I pray for people and loved ones to have a hunger and thirst for MORE righteousness-to not be satisfied with the measure of God they have now.

  32. The sons of Sceva illustrate the importance of having a relationship with Christ. We must have the authority to use his name for it to be effective.

  33. A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!” Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this. But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭19‬:‭13-16‬ NLT)

This is what can happened when you go into a spiritual encounter you’re not prepared for. If you don’t know what you believe in, don’t think you can defeat every demonic spirit that comes your way. Educate yourself, learn the word, receive Gods spirit, trust and listen to Pastor as he instructs.

  34. Many gave up their curious arts and burned their books in the street. When we give our life to Christ and that transformation takes place, something similar happens to us. All these insignificant things we put so much stock into becomes obsolete. Our true reward becomes more apparent with every step we take closer to GOD.

  35. 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

The day is upon us, when we can speak about Jesus Name baptism and people are going to come in Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, from every where wanted to put on His name.
Who will take that step in faith and preach the only saving name. If you do, you have a promise from God that you can lay hands and people will receive the precious gift of the HG.
If you want #IT, you can have #IT!

  36. 8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

This is exactly what it is going to take to get the job done. Paul’s persistence about the will of God allowed him to spread the word like no one else. If we can be as determined as Paul, God can do great works in our lives. He can also perform miracles for the people we come in contact with that need a touch from the Lord.

  37. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

Amen! God is using people to be used by God so that God can be glorified and honored because of the miracles and wonders that are going on and will be going on. Jesus has the power to do anything and EVERYTHING!!! I know there been times where my children are sick or in pain and automatically I say a prayer and God heals them instantly! I am sowing that seed of faith in my children by using the name of Jesus! When my husband is weak in times of sickness or trials I am there to pray with him and to see the miracle that was made because of the name of Jesus. Like Bro Henderson said pray like you have never prayed before over any situation. The devil is under or feet and the devil trembles when we say the name of Jesus 🙂 HALLELUJA!!! Jesus!!!!

  38. So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect. (‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭19‬:‭20‬ NLT)

For Jesus message was spread widely, for It had such a powerful affect, for it was very common especially among the Jews,if we resist the devil from his attacks and afflictions by faith in Christ the devil will flee from us, for we will be victorious!!! In Jesus Name Amen

  39. Thank God for good friends

Having friends watching your back is very important. It probably saved Paul’s life this day. In today’s society we are in the same position as Paul was here. People will throw you under the bus for your beliefs but your friends will steer you out of confusion and to Jesus

  40. Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands: (‭Acts‬ ‭19‬:‭26‬ KJV)

What a verse! This man was mad because someone was messing with his testimony. He was complaining, but really what it does it tell us about the fruit of Paul’s labor. Our church is going to so impact the world that people will say no alone at Fort Worth, but all over the world…

  41. Baptized !!!! 3. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. 4. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Je’-sus. 5. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Je’-sus. Acts 8 : 16 THANK YOU for the Holy Ghost !!!! THANK YOU for Repentance !!!! THANK YOU for water baptism in Jesus Name !!!!
