Acts 7

7 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

2 And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran,

3 And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.

4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.

5 And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.

6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.

8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.

9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

11 Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.

12 But when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.

13 And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.

14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.

15 So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,

16 And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor the father of Sychem.

17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

18 Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.

19 The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

20 In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.

22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

23 And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

24 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:

25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.

26 And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?

27 But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?

28 Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.

30 And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

31 When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,

32 Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

34 I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.

35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

36 He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

45 Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;

46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.

47 But Solomon built him an house.

48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.

59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

  1. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

I wonder sometimes if we could still stand speaking Boldly and with Courage continue to preach the truth, of the baptism in Jesus Name and of the Holy Ghost, and of the Oneness of Jesus Christ . Will we forgive those that stones us with their self-righteousness & judgemental hearts. This is a true question we must ask ourselves for the times are coming and our missionaries are already confronting, encarcerated, and even killed for preaching the TRUTH. The way our country has changed, the topic that the teach, are little by little stripping our morals, our right as Christians, for what??? In the name of tolerance of sin. Sorry that just don’t work for me. Lord teach us that all we have to do is be strong and courageous and when we have nothing else left to do we stand; but stand united as one body, The Precious Name of Jesus Christ AMEN

  2. 54. When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

    Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

When we hear the Truth and it pricks our heart, it is up to us how we will respond…let’s choose wisely.

  3. In the beginning of verses 27-29 MSG a portion says “…..Who put you in charge of us?” You see Moses thought his brothers would be glad that he was on their side, and even see him as an instrument of God to deliver them. But they didn’t see it that way. Unfortunately, many have issues with God given authority. We cannot afford in the time that we are now living in to reject, be offended or not listen to the direction that the man of God, whom God has placed in you life, is trying to direct in. This isn’t anything new…..I can remember me and my sisters growing up always saying “Who put you in charge”….or “Your not the boss of me” or “Who made you queen of the mountain”??? Do not be like the beginning of verses 51-53 MSG that say “And you continue, so bullheaded! Calluses on your hearts, flaps on your ears! Deliberately ignoring the Holy Spirit, you’re just like your ancestors.” But instead embrace your man of God and the God given authorities that he has placed in our lives to save us!

  4. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

This was the attitude of these people when they were told their history of where they had came from. They stopped their ears and stoned Stephen to death, because of his preaching. Stopping our ears or killing the messenger will not change the out come of any situation. We must accept the truth and repent of our wrong ways. Our attitude toward the word of God and the messenger of God will make a difference in how we receive the word!

  5. Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Hardened against a prophecy fulfilled, troubled and tainted in their hearts. Some people live their lives very worldly, worrying only about stature and influence, and teaching their children the same. Anytime God speaks or moves upon them they clam up, their pride is puffed up and they resist the beauty and renewal that the Holy Ghost offers.

  6. 58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.

Praise the Lord for his mercy and Grace. We have all done things we are not proud of , but through Jesus blood we can be forgiven.

  7. “This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.”
    ‭‭
What is it about the people that God chooses that He does not choose the strong very often? Moses was rejected by his people and had a speech problem.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God wants His people to prosper. However, He does not want the prosperitry to destroy us by our thinking we did it ourselves.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
    ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So, be proud of who God is making you to be.

    He’s still working on me
To make me what I ought to be

  8. iLove to eat More Word

“The Promise, The Increase, and The devil”

Notice this, as the promise draws near, there is always increase and there is always opposition. Wow, yep right there in today’s blog we find all 3.

💥As the time drew near💥when God would fulfill his 💥promise💥 to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt greatly 💥increased💥. But then a new king came to the throne of Egypt who knew nothing about Joseph. This king exploited our people and 💥oppressed them💥 forcing parents to abandon their newborn babies so they would die.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭7:17-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
    http://bible.com/116/act.7.17-19.nlt

Church, as our promised church building draws near we must be prepared for both increase and opposition.

  9. 52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

    I count it all joy

When we are persecuted for Jesus. We must count that an honor. Just as the greats of old, we are seeing the beginning of true tribulation. This is only the begin. Get ready church for Jesus is coming soon.

  10. 59 As they stoned him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
60 He fell to his knees, shouting, “Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!” And with that, he died. (NLT)

So let’s be honest, are we at a place in God where we truly understand that even our problems and difficult times are all to the glory of God..? If we were Stephen would we have the same last words? I’ll just be open and honest and say I’m not entirely sure that as I’m being bashed in the gut and over the head with rocks that I would immediately consider saying the words of Stephen; I’d probably be too busy crying and screaming and trying to get away. But my prayer is to recognize situations like this and say God, forgive them, because even this is all to Your glory. I may not understand why, but that’s ok because I trust the one who holds my world and my life in His hands.

I skim through others blogs for encouragement and I read Bro. Linton’s. At the end he had a couple of lines from a song I learned from church as a child and it fits right along with wanting more change, that I would become more like Christ….
“He’s still working on me, to make me what I ought to be. It took Him just a week to make the moon and the stars, the sun and the earth and jupiter and mars. How loving and patient He must be, cause He’s still working on me!”

  11. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

We must be full of the Holy Ghost when we encounter the trials of life, because through carnal eyes, we will murmur and complain like the children of Israel did in the wilderness. By faith we must realize that Jesus is with us through it all.

  12. Acts 7:53
Who have received the law by the disposition of angels and have not kept it

We must obey the law of god and follow the man of god . More Followers . AMEN

  13. Acts 7:51
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

The equivalent of being backslid in heart, going through the motions, and stubborn. They physically looked the part but their hearts were far from God..

    Isaiah 29:13
    Wherefore the Lord said,
Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth,
and with their lips do honour me,
but have removed their heart far from me,
and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Our heart needs to be in our relationship with God.

  14. Forgiveness

As the rocks rained down, Stephen prayed, “Master Jesus, take my life.” Then he knelt down, praying loud enough for everyone to hear, “Master, don’t blame them for this sin”—his last words. Then he died.

Stephen prayed for his killers. True forgiveness forgives and asks God to forgive. We are to exhibit mercy to both fellow believers and sinners. Our love is often shown through mercy.

Do not let offences build up grudges in your mind. Allow the grace of God to help you forgive. Free your mind from vengence and bitterness. Allow God’s Spirit to guide you through forgiveness of others, self, and, if need be, God.

  15. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

And when he had said this, he fell asleep

Honestly to me what those people did cause they found out where they came from and stoned the messenger of God was honestly kinda dumb, but if we kill the man of God what good thing will come out of it like for real . We need to not be spiritual Babies and get offended by the truth except it that’s all you can do.
    💥REPENT PEOPLE💥

  16. 9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,

BUT GOD WAS WITH HIM!!!! No matter what people might be saying/doing to you. We are Gods children and no one can take away God from us. I know who I trust in, who I reach out to, who I have faith in, who I believe in, and His name is Jesus!!! Name above all Names!!! Jesus is my Father and He will never leave me because He choose me and therefore I will always live for Him!!! Even if people make fun of me for believing in Him no one is going to steal my joy!!! MORE JESUS!!!!

  17. 17 But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

Timing is everything in God’s world. The promise that the Lord made to Abraham was still resident in the air, waiting on the perfect timing to be fulfilled. The children of Israel not in Egypt grew and multiplied waiting on God to send another leader to get them out of Egypt to their promised land.

We, the people of God, are waiting on promised that have been spoken into our lives during our communion with the Lord. God’s timing is always perfect and if we will just work, multiply for His Kingdom during the waiting process, the promise of the Lord will come. We don’t want to be idle, or slothful, we want to work until we see the results.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
    6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
    7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

  18. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep

What an awesome lesson we learn from Stephen no matter who hurt you ,used you, neglected you or actually threw stones at you. Not only forgive, but we must pray and ask Jesus to forgive them because whether they knowingly do it ,or whether they don’t realize they did whatever.
God is bound by his word. Vengeance is mine saith the Lord. So unless you totally forgive and ask God to help them and forgive them. Your heart is no better then the one that hurt you.
Do unto others as you want them to do unto you. Mercy- to whom much is given much is required.
True forgiveness is caring enough to ask God to forgive there sin too. Be quick to forgive.
Love covers a multitude of sins.

  19. MORE TRUTH

7 Then said the high priest, Are these things so?

People in todays society sincerely seek TRUTH. However with deception so rampant and convenient, TRUTH is often distorted and misrepresented. We should be prepared to give answer to those that ask, regardless of their cultural or political status. The apostle Peter wrote on this subject in:

1Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Keeping the LORD in our hearts and walking in the SPIRIT will keep us prepared to answer “Are these things so?”

Stay ready and prepared to share MORE TRUTH with a deceived and confused world in these last days.

  20. 6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

Everything that happeneds is part of God’s plan. We just have to endure as a good solider and trust him

  21. How long did Abraham and Sarah wait for the arrival of their promised heir, Isaac? God first revealed to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations when he called him to leave his country and go to the land God would show him. Abraham was 75 years old. Fifteen years later, when Abraham was 90, God renewed his promise. Ten years later, at age 100, Abraham and Sarah finally had their son. That’s a total of twenty-five years. His children were slaves in Egypt for 400 years. That’s a long time to wait for God to step in. How long did the Israelites wander through the desert after leaving Egypt on their way to the Promised Land? Forty long years. It certainly doesn’t take 40 years to get from where they started to reach Jericho. The cycle trickles down to us, we have the opportunity to learn from the patriarchs and our own mistakes to wait on the Lord’s promises and endure the time it takes doing the work of the Gospel.

  22. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

This is the kind of spirit of forgiveness we need to have! Not only forgive them ourselves but to ask God to not hold them to that sin!! Unforgiveness will not hurt anybody but yourself! Lord help us to forgive those who have hurt us as you have forgiven us when we sinned against us!!

  23. 9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
The most powerful words of this verse are the last 5… BUT GOD WAS WITH HIM! it simply does not matter were you find yourself in life if God is with you nothing can stop you. If God is for you WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU!? No one on the face of this earth!

  24. Acts 7:9-10
9, And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
10, And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharoah king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Heb. 13:5b-6 says, “… for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and a I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”
Ps. 118:6 says, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”

Thank you JESUS for the promises in your word.
No matter what man may try to do to us, God is with us, and God is on our side. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is our Helper and Deliverer. He will deliver us out of all our afflictions.

This made me think of a verse in the song “In Jesus Name.”
    God is fighting for us,
    God is on our side
    He has overcome,
    Yes He has overcome
    We will not be shaken,
    We will not be moved
    Jesus You are here

  25. Acts 7:49-51 Heaven is My Throne, and Earth is My Footstool:what house will you build Me?says the Lord:or what is the place of My rest? Has not My Hand made all these things? You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in the heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy Spirit:as your fathers did,so do you.

  26. 5“But God gave him no inheritance here, not even one square foot of land. God did promise, however, that eventually the whole land would belong to Abraham and his descendants—even though he had no children yet. 6 God also told him that his descendants would live in a foreign land, where they would be oppressed as slaves for 400 years.

How many of could endure this promise that God was making to Abraham. To tell you, you wont experience this new land and your descendants would be slaves. What great faith Abraham had in God. This is the kind of faith we should always have. No matter how difficult the problem may seem, with God all things are possible!

  27. 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Where will you build your house be built on? Will be built on the throne or will it be built on a footstool?

Coming from the words of Jesus in a pray that a lot of us know very well. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. When we follow God’s laws and principles in our lives, and especially when we seek after God instead of the things of this world, we set our foundation on solid rock. But if we seek after the things of this world, then our spiritual house is set on foundation that cannot stand.

So make your house into a throne, don’t settle for a footstool. Seek after God and his kingdom first, and when you do, you don’t have to worry about losing your footing in life.

Proverbs 10:25 As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more, but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

Luke 6:47-49 Whosoever cometh to me and heareth my sayings and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like. He is like a man which built a house and digged deep and laid the foundation on a rock and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house and could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation, built a house upon the Earth, against which the stream beat vehemently and immediately it fell and the ruin of that house was great.

  28. 42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

God delivered them from the polytheistic barbaric egyptians. He saw what would happen if they continued to stay and set them free. He drew them away from the pleasures of sin into a place where they could be safe from the worldly influence and worship the Lord in holiness.

However they complained, were unthankful, and wanted to do their own thing. Despite God’s consistent warnings, log suffering, and mercy they still wanted the world. Because they wanted it more than God he delivered them back into the hands of the devils they had just been freed from.

The word paints a picture that once a devil has been cast out they wander and then come back with 7 more, and the person is worse off than before.

Jesus cares deeply for us but will not fight us. If we persistently want our way, and the things in the world he has no choice but to give those things to us, and watch us be destroyed.

    The savior saves.

  29. Acts 7:33
Then the Lord said to him, Take off the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.

Before we can go before the Lord, we must take off everything that is dirty. There must always be repentance before God can operate and speak there must be cleanliness and Holiness.

  30. God will sometimes choose the one everybody least expects. God doesn’t care about what man thinks. He sees deeper then the outer appearance. Our goal should always be to do the will of the father.

  31. “When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.” He told them truth, they became angry, and murdered him. Will one be found guilty of speaking truth, or will one be found guilty of persecuting (actions or words) those that do. Dear God, forgive me so that I may also be found witnessing of your mercy and grace; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. “In God we trust”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  32. 25 For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.
God has given us a dream to build a church in a dark world, to be a dream of salvation for people who dwell in sin. Not everyone will understand what we are doing but that doesn’t matter. It’s from God, that’s the important part.

  33. 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Many times in Corinthians Paul mentions that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Usually repetitiveness in the scripture is because of an emphasis the writer is trying to make. The heavens are your foot stool God but yet you choose to abide in us, if we choose to let you abide in us. We have the privilege to let God live in our hearts. And not just that but he has empowered us to do great miracles, signs and wonders through His name. Jesus! If you have Jesus you everything.

  34. “Then God turned away from them and abandoned them to serve the stars of heaven as their gods! In the book of the prophets it is written, ‘Was it to me you were bringing sacrifices and offerings during those forty years in the wilderness, Israel? No, you carried your pagan gods— the shrine of Molech, the star of your god Rephan, and the images you made to worship them. So I will send you into exile as far away as Babylon.’”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭7:42-43‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Whom and what are we worshipping? God clearly speaks to us through His word that He wants no other gods before Him. God knows our heart and what we truly fixate over. If it isn’t the Lord he will rebuke us. If God isn’t number one in your life than you need to evaluate why and reprioritize.

  35. ““So God sent back the same man his people had previously rejected when they demanded, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ Through the angel who appeared to him in the burning bush, God sent Moses to be their ruler and savior.”
Acts of the Apostles 7:35 NLT

We must be carful not to reject or cut anyone off from our lives. They maybe the one that is used to lead us to safety.

  36. 59 As they stoned him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 He fell to his knees, shouting, “Lord, don’t charge them with this sin!” And with that, he died.

  37. 40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

We should be careful not to make an idiot out of the work of our hands. Our jobs, hobbies, studies, entertainment, relationships are all the work or our hands what we are in control off and should be cautious to put God first and worship Him alone. Our time talent and treasure should be mostly for God.

  38. “And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God was with him, just like he is with us everywhere we go!

  39. Being merciful, and having the right attitude with intercessirory prayer for fotgivenss.

60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

    “Intercede Church”…..everyone needs Jesus.
